Wives submit to your husbands!

Sirach 26:23

“A wicked woman is given as a portion to a wicked man; but a reverent woman is given to him who reveres YAHWEH.”

Please listen or read this entire message before getting offended to see what the scriptures have to say on the topic. I know many will not like this message or get offended by the title alone, but let those who have hears to hear, let them hear. My goal has always been to speak scriptural truth and not my own opinion and back it up with several witness of scripture. And there are many scriptures that we will be covering today.

We will discuss scriptures about the role of a man and the role of a woman. Also, should women submit to their husbands? Should women be leaders? Should a woman be quarreling with her husband? I believe discussing this topic will help to build for better marriages or for those who will become future wives by defining roles as outlined in scripture and not allow Satan to gain a foothold in these marriages; because once the roles have been reversed you have just given Satan legal grounds to come in and destroy the marriage. This must be discussed because this topic gets avoided because of the hate that will come their way, after many years of deliberate conditioning and programming of women today to get them to act like the world. Why do you think the TV programs are pushing so hard for the feminist movement and role reversal?  TV pushes this role reversal as the right thing to do just as they do with homosexuality, cussing, and many other things that goes against scripture.

It seems most know what to expect out of a man, but the topic of women has been swept under the rug because you will be viewed as a dictator or a chauvinist. These tactics employed by the feminist movement has won over the masses and don’t see the Jezebel spirit disguised underneath it. During the days of the Bible this topic was not an issue at all because men and women understood what was expected, but over the years those waters have been muddied with lies and called what YAHWEH made good, evil.

Isaiah 5:20

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Remember what Satan wants to destroy the natural order of things and get the world to obey him and not YAHWEH!

Revelation 12:9

“And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old called the Devil (Aramaic says Deceiver) and Satan, who LEADS ALL THE WORLD ASTRAY. He was thrown to the earth, and his messengers were thrown out with him.”

Because it’s Satan’s plan to destroy the hierarchy that YAHWEH set in place.

 This does not apply to women who already know the scriptures and have applied it to their lives. There are many women who have put their pride aside to obey the truth of the scriptures. But for those who have been deceived by the feminist movement, those who are argumentative, non-submissive, rebellious are being led astray by the western culture and not the Hebraic culture/mindset having one foot in the world and it’s view of marriage but yet claiming to know YAHWEH and walking with His Son YESHUA! This is about women who refuse to submit a man as it is written in the scriptures; and yes, even women who have disobedient husbands who are not walking in Torah as they know they should, you are to submit yourself to your husband so that you win him over by your righteous behavior and with prayer as Peter who walked with YESHUA says:

1 Peter 3:1 (Parenthesis mine)

“In the same way, wives submit to your own husbands, so that if any are disobedient to the Word (Not walking in righteousness), they without a word (through your actions), might be won by the behavior of their wives, having seen your blameless behavior in reverence.”

The world has gotten so far removed from YAHWEH’s word that these roles have been reversed and accepted. It should not be so with those of us walking in covenant with ELOHIM.

There are many women who follow YESHUA and observe Torah and say then want to be the Proverbs 31 woman, yet when it comes to the passages that I will discuss today many will get offended and feel like they are lesser than or want to ignore these scriptures all together! It reminds me of the way Christian’s react when they hear the word “law” they immediately get defensive and close their ears to the truth. In order to become that Proverbs 31 woman there must be obedience to the scriptures first. I get that some women were mistreated in their past relationships, but so have men. Neither should have the right to bring that baggage into the marriage, because if your spouse is truly walking with YESHUA then you should trust them not to act like someone in the world.

No one within in the Body of Messiah looks at a man as weak when he submits to YESHUA, so why is a woman submitting to a man frowned upon by women who say they are walking with YESHUA?  Remember the strongest person in the world is the one who can submit! YESHUA is The Son of YAHWEH, yet He submitted to the Father for our sakes! YESHUA said Himself that He could have called 12 Legions of angels to assist Him, but He did not call them, He acted in humility and obedience to the Father and our walk should be no different than His; otherwise, we would not have the forgiveness of sins if He chose to rebel.

Mathew 26:53

“Or do you think that I am not able to pray to My Father now, and He shall provide Me with more than twelve legions of messengers?”

 And to be clear this message is out of love so that we walk in the fullness of YAHWEH’s Word; so, before anyone takes my words out of context, a woman submitting to a man does not mean that the husband is running around with a whip and making commands towards his wife treating like a slave in chains, abusing her, yelling at her, ignoring her, not listening to her, demeaning her or being unfaithful to her in any way! A situation where she is a slave and not a wife saying things like make my dinner and wash the dishes too! While he sits back and gets drunk, hangs out with friends smoking weed (I’m completely against smoking weed, just making a statement from what I hear) and playing XBOX all day, that is not why I’m saying at all! Because I see nothing wrong with a man helping to cook and clean. I say this firmly, men, if you have a good wife who is walking in obedience to the scriptures DO NOT TAKE HER FOR GRANTED. A man is supposed to love his wife and respect her as Peter says in:

1 Peter 3:7

“In the same way, husbands, live understandingly together, giving respect to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the favor of life, so that your prayers are not hindered.”

Colossians 3:19

“Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.”

The word bitter is the Greek word “pikraino (pe-kri-no) which means render anger or irritated.

We simply need to establish the order first before anything else can happen. The same way YESHUA submitted to YAHWEH so we can be forgiven, the same way a man submits to YESHUA with all humility is what should happen with the woman, then the others will fall into place. We must address the rebellion that is occurring first.

Role of a man?

The man must firstly be committed and submitted fully to YESHUA, he should be setting the example by praying, reading scripture, studying scripture, and applying the scriptures, so that he can lead the woman and children in the ways of YAHWEH!

Genesis 18:19

“And YAHWEH said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, since Abraham is certainly going to become great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I have known him, so that HE COMMANDS HIS CHILDREN AND HIS HOUSEHOLD AFTER HIM, TO GUARD THE WAY OF YAHWEH TO DO RIGHTEOUSNESS AND RIGHT-RULING, so that YAHWEH brings to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”

Deuteronomy 6:6-7

“And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart, and you shall IMPRESS THEM UPON YOUR CHILDREN, and shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk  by the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up…”

The man is the voice of authority where he commands the household to walk in YAHWEH’s ways and teach His commands and laws to the family. He is the leader, provider and protector; he makes the decisions in the house, but that does not mean he won’t take his wife’s advice or ask her opinion. He is to have a vision and lay out the steps towards that goal and explain them to the wife so she does not become fearful of the unknown of a man who has no vision or goals at all, this way she can back you, support you, and pray for you.

And if he is in ministry and always working to help others then he doesn’t have to stop help others and being selfless, he just has to find the proper balance of being there for others, yet not neglect or disrespect his wife by not making time for her. Although, a loving wife who understands your calling will back and support your calling and not become bitter, there must be balance and she is not to be neglected but loved and shown love. A man who is led by the RUACH HA’KODESH will do YAHWEH’s will with the vison He has been given and the woman will help the man fulfill that vision with her creativity and nurturing gifts, this way you complement each other within the guidelines of scripture.

The man is the esteem of ELOHIM, so he is a representative of YESHUA which means He is to lead, love, protect, and not be a hypocrite, he is to lead by example.

Jubilees 3:15-16

“And in the first week of the first jubilee, Adam and his wife were in the Garden of Eden for seven years serving and guarding it, and we gave HIM WORK and we instructed him to do everything that is suitable for serving. And HE served the garden, and was naked, an did not know it, and was not ashamed. And HE PROTECTED the garden from the birds and beasts  and cattle, and GATHERED THE FRUIT, and ate, and put aside the remainder for HIMSELF AND FOR HIS WIFE, and PUT ASIDE THAT WHICH WAS BEING KEPT.”

We see that Adam was working in the field tilling the ground and protecting it as would be protecting his wife; and he provided fruit from the garden and brought it home for his wife Eve to eat. So we see the role of a man right here in the Garden of Eden.

Provide is spelled in the Otiot as (Beyt, Hey, Yad)

Yad means to work, throw, worship, actions

Hey means look, reveal, breath, behold

Beyt means family, house, In

A man works and looks to take care of his house and family.

Ephesians 5:25-31

“Husbands, love your wives, as Messiah also loved the assembly and gave Himself for it, in order to sanctify it, and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word, in order to present it to Himself a splendid assembly, not having spot or wrinkle or any of this sort, but that it might be holy and blameless. In this way husbands ought to love their own wives as THEIR OWN BODIES. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but feeds and cherishes it, as also the Master does the assembly. Because we are members of His Body, of His flesh and of His bones. For this cause a man shall leave his dad and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”

 Men are to love their wives as YESHUA loves Assembly, men are to respect their wives and not speak harshly to them and provide and protect and lead them.

Tobiyah 9:7-8

“And now, O YAHWEH, I do not take this my sister (his wife Sarah) for a whore, but uprightly; therefore, favorably allow that we may grow old together.” And she said with him, “Ahmein.”

Role of a woman?

Genesis 2:18

“And YAHWEH ELOHIM said, “It is not good for the man to be alone, I am going to make a HELPER for him, as his counterpart.”

Genesis 2:20

“So the man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the heavens, and to every beast of the field. But for the man there was not found a HELPER for him, as his counterpart.”

Jubilees 3:4

“And YAHWEH said to us, “It is not good that the man should be alone: let us make a HELPMEET for him.”

Tobiyah 8:5-7

“Then Tobi began to say, “Blessed are You, O ELOHIM of our ancestors, and blessed is Your holy and esteemed Name forever. Let the heavens bless You, and all Your creation. “You made Adam, and gave him Eve his wife for a HELPER and SUPPORT; from them came mankind. You have said, “It is not good for man to be alone, let Us make for him a HELPER as his counterpart.”

1 Corinthians 11:9

“For man is not from woman, but woman from man. For man also was not created for the woman, but woman for the man.”

The word helper in Hebrew is strong’s #H228 “ezer” which means to help, one who helps, aids. The Otiot (signs) which is the ancient Hebrew spells helper as Resh, zayin, ayin (Hebrew reads from right to left)

Ayin means to watch or know

Zayin means food, cut, nourish, plowing tool

Resh means first, top, beginning, thoughts

Putting them together we get a woman is a helper who watches over her husband and household, to nourish him and children, and pray for the weaknesses in your husband to be cut so that they become strengths. Nurture means to care for and encourage the growth or development of.

And this is done through prayer and not through your own strength of trying to nag or argue with him, remember Peter said that you may win him over with your behavior. She is also there to support her husband as it is written in Tobiyah, not to tear him down, but to build him up because she is a nurturer as most women naturally are and to help with the children with instruction:

Proverbs 1:8

“My son, heed the discipline of your dad, and do not forsake the Torah (guidelines and instructions) of your mother.”

The man provides the seed, and the woman births the children and nurtures them. Having children was something that women cherished in scripture as we see the many examples of barren women who longed for children, because it’s part of their design. In Genesis we see what YAHWEH said the man would provide by work and the woman would bring forth children even though it would be in pain as punishment for eating the fruit, but the point is she is still to bring forth children.

Genesis 3:16

“To the woman He said, “I greatly increase your sorrow and your conception-bring forth children in pain…”

1 Timothy 2:16

“But she shall be saved in childbearing if they continue in belief, and love, and sanctified, with sensibleness.”

Titus 2:3-5 (The Holy Aramaic Scriptures)

“And thus also, the Qashishatha (The female elders);  that they should be in the character which is proper to the reverence of ELOHIM, not being feeders of gossip, and not being subjected to much wine, and to be teachers of good things, such as modesty for the young girls, and to love their husbands and their sons, and to be sober and holy, to be careful to make good homes, and be subjected to their husbands, so that no man might blaspheme concerning The Word of ELOHIM.”

The female elders must be righteously walking with YESHUA to teach the younger women how to be properly love their husbands and to love their children, how to dress modestly and take care of the home. And in doing so no one can blaspheme against the Word of ELOHIM when they see things are not in order according to the roles defined in scripture.

The role of a woman can be summed up with what is recorded in Jubilees concerning Leah’s behavior:

Jubilees 36:22

“For she (Leah) was PERFECT AND UPRIGHT IN ALL HER WAYS AND HONORED JACOB, AND ALL THE DAYS THAT SHE LIVED WITH HIM HE DID NOT HEAR A HARSH WORD FROM HER MOUTH, for she was GENTLE AND PEACABLE AND UPRIGHT AND HONORABLE.”

Proverbs 31:21

“She shall do him good, and not evil, all the days of her life.”

Leah was a Proverbs 31 wife!

She is strong, a nurturer, and selfless! I remember when I was a child, I would procrastinate on doing a school project that I knew had to be done about 3 months in advance; however, I waited until the night before to get it done. Guess what? I did not have any of the supplies I needed nor the time to complete it. But my mom would make sure to help with the project and even stayed up until 3 or 4 in the morning to help me complete it knowing that she had to go to work in a few hours. She did this despite the fact that I was the one who messed up, despite the fact that it was me who procrastinated! I deserved to get a failing grade for my own actions, but I tell you these kind deeds were never forgotten.

Or whenever my brother, sister, or myself was sick with the flu, my mom would stay up all night to make sure we had water, soup, orange juice, and medicine. We cannot comprehend the love of a woman and their selflessness. If your husband does not see all the good that you are doing then he needs to repent and stop taking you for granted but keep going because YAHWEH sees your humility and selflessness.

Proverbs 31:10-31 (Parenthesis mine)

“Who finds a capable wife? For she is worth more than rubies. The heart of her husband shall trust her, and he has no lack of gain. She shall do him good, and not evil, all the days of her life. She shall seek wool and flax, and with delight she works with her hands. She shall be as the ships of Tarshish, she brings in her food from afar. She also rises while it is still night, and provides food for her household, and a portion for her girls. She shall consider a field and buy it; from her profits she shall plant a vineyard. She shall gird herself with strength, and strengthen her arms. She shall taste when her gain is good; her lamp does not go out by night. She shall stretch out her hands to the distaff (a stick or spindle onto which wool and flax is wound for spinning), and her hand hold the spindle. She shall extend her hand to the poor, and she shall reach out her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household is dressed in scarlet. She shall make tapestry for herself; she is dressed in fine linen and purple. Her  husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land, she shall make fine linen and sell them, and shall give girdles for the merchants. STRENGTH (She is still strong even while submitting to husband) and splendor are her garments, and she rejoices in time to come. She shall open her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the Torah of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household (this ties into to the ancient otiot I spelled out above: resh, zayin, ayin meaning a woman is a helper who watches over her husband and household, to nourish him and children, and pray for the weaknesses in your husband to be cut so that they become strengths) And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children shall rise up and call her blessed; her husband, and he praises her: “Many daughters have done nobly, but you have risen over them all.” Loveliness is deceptive and prettiness is vain, a woman who reveres YAHWEH is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.”

Should a woman submit to the man?

The scriptures are clear on the matter, yet there is this ongoing debate about it when there should not be. There is clear order and hierarchy when it comes to YAHWEH’s creation, so we will examine those scriptures to get clarification. The first one was decreed by YAHWEH Himself in the Garden.

Genesis 3:16

“To the woman He said “I greatly increase your sorrow and your conception – bring forth children in pain. And your desire is for your husband, and HE RULES OVER YOU.”

Interesting to note that the George Lamsa Aramaic Old Testament translation includes that the woman will be “dependent” on her husband in this verse. For some reason many women hate this verse and men do not want to talk about it, but why? Is not YAHWEH’s word perfect? Did He not say this for a reason? The word “Rule” in Hebrew is “Mashal” means to rule, have dominion, reign, cause to rule. When Adam was given dominion to rule over the creation that is exactly what that meant. The animals were subject to man’s authority not the other way around. One of the clearest scriptures to show that a man has authority over his wife and that she should submit is found in:

Numbers 30:6-16

“But if she at all belongs to a husband, while bound by her vows or by a rash utterance from her lips by which she bound herself, and her husband hears it, and he has kept silent towards her on the day that he hears, then her vows shall stand, and her agreements by which she bound herself do stand. But if her husband FORBIDS HER on the day that he hears it, then he has NULLIFIED HER VOW which she vowed, and the rash utterance of her lips by which she bound herself, and YAHWEH pardons her. But any vow of a widow or a divorced woman, by which she has bound herself, stands against her. And if she vowed in her husbands house, or bound herself by an agreement with an oath, and her husband heard it, and has kept silent towards her and did not forbid her, then all her vows shall stand, and every agreement by which she bound herself stands. But if her husband CLEARLY NULLIFIED them on the day he heard them, then whatever came from her lips concerning her vows or concerning the agreement binding her, it DOES NOT STAND-her husband has NULLIFIED THEM, and YAHWEH pardons her. Every vow and every binding oath to afflict her being, let her husband confirm it, or let her husband nullify it. But if her husband is altogether silent at her from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or all the agreements that bind her- he confirms them, because he kept silent towards her on the day that he heard. But if he NULLFIES them after he has heard, then he shall bear her wickedness.” These are the Laws which YAHWEH commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, and between a dad and his daughter in her youth in her dad’s house.”

We see that the husband can nullify the vow of a wife the same way that her dad could if she was living with her parents. If the husband does not say anything then the vow stands, but if he nullifies the vow, it does not stand, so this scripture alone nullifies the feminist spirit.

1 Corinthians 11:3-9

“And I want you to know that the head of every man is Messiah, and the head of woman is the man, and the head of Messiah is YAHWEH. Verse 7-12 “For a man indeed should not cover his head, since he is the likeness and esteem of ELOHIM, but woman is the esteem of man. For man is not from woman, but woman from man. For man also was not created for the woman, but woman for the man.”

1 Peter 3:1-6

“In the same way, wives submit (#G5292 means subordinate, obey, submit) to your own husbands, so that if any are disobedient to the Word, they without a word, might be won by the behavior of their wives, having seen your blameless behavior in reverence. Your world should not be outward-braided hair, wearing gold, or putting on dresses-but the hidden Man of the heart, with the incorruptible ornament of a meek (quiet, gentle, submissive, patient) and peaceable spirit, which is of great value before ELOHIM. For in this way, in former times, the holy women who trusted in ELOHIM also adorned themselves, being subject (submissive) to their own husbands, as Sarah OBEYED Abraham, calling him master, of whom you became children, doing good and not frightened by any fear.”

Sarah called Abraham the Aramaic word “Mari” which means “my master”, and She obeyed Abraham (strongs #5219 hupakouo) meaning to listen to, attend to, hearken, obey, or answer the same word was used in Luke 8:25 as the winds obeyed YESHUA! The point is that the righteous women of scripture obeyed their husbands and did not argue or rebel against them, she submits out of fear and obedience to YAHWEH!  The wife should not be in fear to submit to her husband and resist the urge to overthrow her husband’s decisions by contending and arguing with him.

We know that women worry and have anxiety because they want to make sure that everything goes well and that is understandable but trust your husbands. In these situations, a woman is to pray for her husband. Peter is saying don’t let fear take over but let him lead, and follow the good works of Sarah, in other words do what the righteous Sarah did. When Abraham said “say that you are my sister” she did not fight with him but she obeyed him and the end result was that she was delivered out of the hands of Pharaoh and they left with riches.

Notice Peter is not putting a woman down he is just defining the roles because a woman is the weaker vessel. This is the reason why Satan went after Eve because he knew that she was the weaker vessel and more vulnerable to his devices. Satan was able to convince her act outside of her role as helper into the role of a leader by making a decision. When the roles get reversed it allows for Satan to come in and wreak havoc in your lives.

1 Timothy 2:14

“And Adam was not deceived, but the woman having been deceived, fell into transgression.”

 Adam was not the first to eat the fruit, he was supposed be the leader and say “No! YAHWEH commanded us NOT to eat the fruit!” When things are out order a domino effect occurs, and it is all written for a reason so that we learn from them.

Genesis 3:17

“And to the man He said, “Because you have LISTENED (Hebrew word is Shama which means to hear, listen, obey, consent, agree) TO THE VOICE OF YOUR WIFE, and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘Do not eat of it: “Cursed is the ground because of you, in toil you are to eat of it all the days of your life, and it shall bring forth thorns and thistles for you, and you shall eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face you are to eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are, and to dust you return”

1 Timothy 2:12

“But I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, rather to be in silence.”

The Greek word for woman here is #G1135 “Gyne” meaning a woman of any age, whether a virgin, married, or widow.

1 Timothy 2:12 (Aramaic Peshitta John Etheridge)

“For unto the wife to teach I permit not, neither to be authoritative over the husband, but to be in quietude.”

One Aramaic translation shows that a wife should not teach and other version of Aramaic such as (The Holy Aramaic Scriptures) says a woman in general, why? That would give her authority over the man or a wife having authority over her husband which goes against all these witnesses in scripture.

Colossians 3:18-19

“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as IS PROPER IN THE MASTER. Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.”

Should a woman lead?

If children, see a woman running the house taking the role of a man then the children will be mixed up and confused. They will think this is the proper way a family should conducted and possibly carry that behavior into their relationships, or disrespect the dad, or even become a homosexual because the gender roles have not been properly established.

Isaiah 3:12

“My people! Youths exert pressure on them, and WOMEN RULE OVER THEM. O My people! Your leaders lead astray, and swallow the way of your paths.”

This example showed how bad the condition of Yisra’el was because children were their oppressors, and the women were ruling which throws things out of order. Notice the entire verse is filled with negative connotations. In other words women should not be ruling over men.

How about Deborah? This account is always brought up to prove that a woman can lead but the rest of the passage isn’t being read and is taken out of context. Let’s examine it:

Judges 4:5-9

“And she (Deborah) was dwelling under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Beyth El in the mountains of Ephraim. And the children of Yisra’el came up to her for right-ruling. And she sent and called for Barak son of Abino’am from Qedesh in Napthali, and said to him, “HAS NOT YAHWEH ELOHIM OF YISRA’EL COMMANDED, ‘Go, and you shall draw towards Mount Tabor, and shall take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun, and I (YAHWEH) shall draw unto you Sisera, the commander of Yabin’s army, with his chariots and his company at the wadi Qishon, and shall give him into your hand? And Barak said to her, “If you go with me, then I shall go; but if you do not go with me, I do not go up.” And she said, I shall certainly go with you. ONLY, THERE SHALL BE NO ESTEEM FOR YOU IN THE JOURNEY YOU ARE TAKING, FOR YAHWEH IS GOING TO SELL SISERA INTO THE HAND OF A WOMAN.”

As we see Deborah herself says to Barak that he will not get any esteem out of this because YAHWEH will give Sisera into the hands of a woman, meaning that Barak was supposed to lead and get the esteem as a man should lead because it was uncommon for a woman to lead, she understood this. Barak failed as a man to step up and lead when he had the opportunity! YAHWEH will raise up a woman to lead IF a man fails to fulfill his role as the leader.

Sirach 26:23-25

“A headstrong woman shall be counted as a dog.”

Sirach 22:5

“She who is BOLD shames both her DAD AND HER HUSBAND, AND THEY SHALL BOTH DESPISE HER.”

A woman is not to lead nor have authority over her husband or a man. I know it seems like the thing to do for the feminist independent woman movement, but we see that it is frowned upon is scripture.

Ephesians 5:22-23

“Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Master. Because the husband is the head of the wife, as also HA’MASHIACH is head of the assembly, and He is Savior of the Body.”

Paul is saying for wives to submit themselves to their husband “As to YAHWEH” because YAHWEH has established the man as authority in the home which means he is to lead by example, be the leader. The decisions that your husband makes falls squarely on his shoulders as the head of the house and he will be held accountable. Why would a woman balk at this?

Stop arguing/quarreling with your husband!

Proverbs 21:9

“It is better to dwell in a corner of a roof, than in a house shared with a contentious woman.”

Proverbs 25:24

“It is better to dwell in a corner of a roof, than in a house shared with a contentious woman.”

This scripture is repeated word for word in two separate places and in the Hebrew culture when something is repeated over and over it means that ears should be opened to listen because the issue is important.

Contentious is defined by the oxford dictionary as “causing or likely to cause an argument, controversial.” “Disputable, heated, fierce, argumentative, or quarrelsome.”

Wives, please stop arguing with your husbands, pray for him and encourage him, be the comforting voice he needs to hear, fight for him not against him.

 Many women feel as though they can force change upon a man by arguing with him, but scripture calls this nagging. You will not gain his hear or attention with this behavior, instead you will get the opposite response and have him sitting on the roof top of the house for peace. Women are emotional and speak out of that emotion and say things that are inappropriate at times because of this. We will scriptures below that praise a quiet loving wife versus the loud argumentative one. This is more reason why a woman should think about what they are going to say before speaking and pray and ask the RUACH HA’KODESH for the words to speak.

Proverbs 31:26

“She shall open her mouth with WISDOM, and on her tongue is the Torah of KINDNESS.”

 For example, your husband is coming in the door from a stressful day at work and you start arguing with him and slicing him up with words is definitely not the way to go about it.

Sirach 26:14-15

“A SILENT and loving woman is a GIFT of YAHWEH; and there is naught worth as much as a mind well instructed. A humble and trustworthy woman is double favor, and her sober mind cannot be valued.”

1 Peter 3:4

“With the incorruptible ornament of a meek (quiet, gentle, submissive, patient) and peaceable spirit, which is of great value before ELOHIM.

Sirach 26:26-27

“A woman that esteems her husband shall be judged wise among all; but she that shames him in her pride shall be counted WICKED among all. A loud-mouthed woman and a nagger shall be sought out to drive away the enemies.”

A woman who shames her husband in any manner whether in public or in front of children shall be counted wicked. A woman who wants to usurp the authority of her husband, seeking to embarrass him in front of anyone, a woman yelling loudly or trying to talk over her husband is not righteous. And a nagging loud mouthed woman shall be used to run even enemies away. As we can see women have learned to become the version of a woman that is not accepted by scriptural standards. Take an example from Leah about how she treated Jacob:

Jubilees 36:21-22 (Parenthesis mine)

“And Leah his wife died in the fourth year of the second week of the forty-fifth jubilee, and he buried her in the cave of Machpelah near Rebecca his mother, to the left of the grave of Sarah, his grandmother and all her sons and his sons came to mourn over Leah his wife with him and to comfort him regarding her, because he was lamenting her. For he loved her exceedingly after Rachel her sister died; for she was PERFECT AND UPRIGHT IN ALL HER WAY AND HONORED JACOB, AND ALL THE DAYS THAT SHE LIVED WITH HIM HE DID NOT HEAR A HARSH WORD FROM HER MOUTH (no arguing and not trying to shame him), for she was GENTLE AND PEACABLE AND UPRIGHT AND HONORABLE.”

This scripture shows the exact opposite of a nagging, loud mouthed wife. Leah, even though she was the least loved wife between she and Rachel still showed humility, love, and support. Jacob recognized this after the fact but loved her dearly for it.

Proverbs 31:11-12

“The heart of her husband shall trust her, and he has no lack of gain. She shall do him good, and not evil, all the days of her life.”

I pray that this message was an eye opener and received with love as I want us all to walk in full obedience to the word of our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA! YESHUA and the 12 Disciples symbolism

We all know that YESHUA had 12 disciples that He chose out of the world, but what does the 12 represent?

Mathew 10:1-4

“And having called His twelve talmidim (disciples) near, He gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every bodily weakness. And these are the names of the twelve emissaries: Simon, who is called Kepha, and Adri his brother, James the son of Zabdai, and John his brother; Phillip and Barthalomew, Thomas and Mathew the tax collector; James of Heleph, and Labai, who last name was Thaddaeus, Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered Him up.”

The number 12 often represented the 12 Tribes o Yisra’el as we see in:

Exodus 28:9-21

“And you shall take two shoham stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Yisra’el, six of their names on one stone, and the remaining six names on the other stone, according to their birth. With the work of an engraver in stone, like engravings of a signet, engrave the two stones with the names of the sons of Yisra’el. Put them in mountings of gold. And you shall put the two stones on the shoulder pieces of the shoulder garment as stones of remembrance for the sons of Yisra’el. And Aaron shall bear their names before YAHWEH on his two shoulders, for a remembrance. And you shall make mountings of gold, and two chains of clean gold like braided cords, and fasten the braided chains to the mountings. And you shall make a breastplate of right-ruling, a work of skilled workman, like the work of the shoulder garment. Make it of gold, of blue and purple and scarlet, and fine woven linen. It is square, doubled, zereth its length, and a zereth its width. And you shall put mountings of stones in it, four rows of stones: The first row is a ruby, a topaz, and an emerald; and the second row is a turquoise, a sapphire, and diamond; and the third row is a jacinth, an agate, an amethyst; and the fourth row is a beryl, and a shoham, and jasper. They are put in gold mountings. And the stones are according to the names of the sons of Yisra’el, TWELVE according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, each one with its own name, for the TWELVE TRIBES.”

Leviticus 24:5-9

“And you shall take fine flour and bake TWELVE CAKES with it, two-tenth parts in each cake. And you shall put them in two rows, six in a row, on the clean table before YAHWEH.”

This reminds me of the two shoham stones with the names of the sons of Yisra’el that Aaron wore as high priest (Exodus 28) divided by putting six names on each shoulder just as the showbread is divided into two rows of six.

Revelation 21:12-14

“And having a great and high wall, having TWELVE GATES, and at the gates TWELVE messengers, and names written on them, which are the TWELVE TRIBES of the children of Yisra’el: three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the TWELVE EMISSARIES of the Lamb.”

So here we have the names of the twelve tribes and the twelve disciples mentioned as part of the New Jerusalem, which ties right into the point of the message.

YESHUA being present with the 12 disciples is a representation of the restored kingdom of Yisra’el, where the 10 tribes of the Northern Kingdom (Ephraim/Israel) and the 2 tribes of the Southern Kingdom (Judah and Benjamin) will be joined back together as One House with One King ruling over them and that King is YESHUA! To understand this concept, we have to look at what happened that caused this division in the first place and the future promise of the regathering.

1 Kings 11:1-13, 29-35 (parenthesis mine)

“And King Solomon loved many foreign women in addition to the daughter of Pharaoh: Moabite, Ammonite, Edomite, Tsidonian, and Hittite, women; from the nations of whom YAHWEH had said to the children of Yisra’el, “You do not go into them, and they do not go into you, for they shall certainly turn away your hearts after their mighty ones.” Solomon clung to these in love. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines. And his wives turned away his heart. And it came to be, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other mighty ones. And his heart was not perfect with YAHWEH his ELOHIM, as was the heart of his dad David. And Solomon went after Ashtoreth the mighty one of the Tsidonians, and after Milkom the abomination of the Ammonites. Thus Solomon did evil in the eyes of YAHWEH, and did not follow YAHWEH completely, like his dad David. Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, on the hill that is east of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the children of Ammon. And so he did for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and slaughtered to their mighty ones. Therefore, YAHWEH was enraged with Solomon, because his heart had turned away from YAHWEH ELOHIM of Yisra’el, who had appeared to him twice, and had commanded him concerning this word, not to go after other mighty ones. But he did not guard what YAHWEH had commanded. And YAHWEH said to Solomon, “Because you have done this, and have not guarded My Covenant and My Laws, which I commanded you, I shall certainly tear the reign away from you and give it to your servant. Only, I do not do it in your days, for the sake of your dad David. Out of the hand of your son I shall tear it. Only, I shall not tear away all the reign but give ONE TRIBE (Judah and Benjamin) to your son for the sake of My servant David, and for the sake of Jerusalem which I have chosen.”  Verse 29-35 “And it came to be at that time, when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahiyah the Shilonite met him on the way. And he was wearing a new garment, and the two were alone in the field. And Ahiyah took hold of the new garment that was on him, and tore it into TWELVE pieces, and said to Jeroboam, “Take for yourself TEN PIECES, for thus said YAHWEH, the ELOHIM of Yisra’el, ‘See, I am tearing the reign out of the hand of Solomon and shall give TEN TRIBES (Ephraim/Yisra’el) to you, but he (Solomon’s son Rehoboam) shall have one tribe for the sake of My servant David, and for the sake of Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Yisra’el.”

When Solomon fell into idolatry the kingdom was split into two kingdoms, Solomons son Rehoboam received two tribes the southern kingdom and Jeroboam received the other 10 tribes the northern kingdom. Ever since then there were two separate houses with two separate kings to rule over them. Then throughout time both houses committed spiritual adultery against YAHWEH by worshipping false mighty ones; although it seems that Judah remained more faithful then Yisra’el; however, they would eventually go into exile themselves.

Hosea 11:12

“Efraim has surrounded Me with lying, and the house of Yisra’el with deceit. But Judah is still wandering with EL, and is true to the Holy One.”

2 Chronicles 18:3-7

“And Ahab king of Yisra’el said to Yehoshaphat king of Judah, “Do you go with me against Ramoth Gilead? And he answered him, “I am as you are, and my people as your people, even with you in battle.” And Yehoshaphat said to the king of Yisra’el, “Please inquire for the word of YAHWEH today.” And the king of Yisra’el gathered the prophets together, four hundred men, and said to them, “Do we go against Ramoth Gilead to battle, or do I refrain? And they said, “Go up, for ELOHIM gives it unto the kings hand.” But Yehoshaphat said, “Is there not still a prophet of YAHWEH here, so that we inquire of him? And the king of Yisra’el said to Yehoshaphat, “There is still one man to inquire of YAHWEH from him’ but I hate him, because he never prophesies good concerning me, but always evil. He is Mikayah, the son of Yimla.” And Yehoshaphat said, “Let not the king say so!”

This shows that Yisra’el had turned away from YAHWEH as Ahab called pagan prophets to inquire, which is why Yehoshaphat said “Is there not a prophet of YAHWEH?” This shows that the House of Judah was still following YAHWEH at this point.

The House of Yisra’el stumbled greatly because most of their kings walked in the ways of Jeroboam son of Nebat:

1 Kings 12:26-33

“And Jeroboam said in his heart, “Now the reign shall return to the house of David. “If these people go up to do slaughtering’s in the House of YAHWEH at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people shall turn back to their master Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall slay me and go back to Rehoboam king of Judah.” So the king took counsel and made two calves of gold, and said to the people, “It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem. See, your mighty ones, O Yisra’el, which brought you up from the land of Egypt! And he put up one in Beyth El, and the other he put in Dan. And this matter became a sin, for the people went before the one as for as Dan. And he made the house of high places, and made priests from all sorts of people, who were not the sons of Levi. And Jeroboam performed a festival on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, like the festival that was in Judah (Sukkot), and he offered up on the altar. So he did at Beyth El, slaughtering to the calves that he had made. And he made offerings on the altar which he made at Beyth El on the fifteenth day of he eighth month, in the month which he had devised in his own heart. And he performed a festival for the children of Yisra’el, and offered on the altar and burned incense.”

As we can see Jeroboam committed a great sin against YAHWEH even after YAHWEH gave him 10 tribes and to walk in the ways of David, but he trusted in his own strength and did it his own way. So whenever you see in scripture where a king walked in the ways of Jeroboam son of Nebat, this is what they were doing. Walking in his ways and not the ways of YAHWEH! Jeroboam not only made two calves to worship as the children of Yisra’el did when they came out of Egypt, he also made priests of any tribe that was not of Levi when YAHWEH ordained the Levites for the priesthood and no other tribe, and he made his own festival day that he devised in his own heart similarly to how Christianity has made up false days. And because of these abominations that the Kings of Yisra’el committed YAHWEH exiled them to Assyria:

2 Kings 17:16-18

“And they left all the Commands of YAHWEH their ELOHIM, and made for themselves a molded image, two calves, and made an Asherah and bowed themselves to all the hosts of the heavens, and served Baal, and caused their sons and daughters to pass through the fire, and practiced divination and sorcery, and sold themselves to do evil in the eyes of YAHWEH, to provoke Him. So YAHWEH was very enraged with Yisra’el and removed them from His presence-none was left, but the tribe of Judah alone.”

This is where the term “lost tribes of Yisra’el” comes from because they were taken by the Assyrians into exile and they eventually became mixed in with the gentiles and forgetting that they were even Yisra’elites because they became like the nations.

Hosea 7:8

“Efraim is mixed among his people, Efraim became a cake not turned.’

Hosea 8:8 (Septuagint)

“Yisra’el is swallowed up: now it has become among the nations as a worthless vessel. For they have gone up to Assyria: Efraim has flourished again against himself; they loved gifts. Therefore they shall be delivered to the nations: now I will receive them and they shall a little to anoint a king and princes.”

Then about 130 years later or so, Judah was taken into Babylonian exile.

Lamentations 1:3 (Septuagint)

“And it came to pass, after Yisra’el was taken captive and Jerusalem made desolate, that Jeremiah sat weeping and lamented with this lamentation over Jerusalem and said. How the city that was filled with people sits solitary! She has become a widow: she that was magnified among the nations and princess among the provinces, has become tributary. She weeps great in the night and her tears are on her cheeks; and there are none of all her lovers to comfort her: all that were her friends have dealt deceitfully with her, they have come her enemies. JUDAH has gone into captivity by reason of her affliction and by reason of the abundance of her servitude; she dwells among the gentiles, she has not found rest: all her pursuers have overtaken her between her oppressors.”

But we see in Ezra 1 that the Jews/Benjamin the southern kingdom survived because they were allowed to return to their homeland after the 70 years of Babylonian exile, while the other tribes remained lost; although, they say that some of those tribes have been found such, as Beta Yisra’el a tribe of Ethiopians, but for the most part they are still lost. That is why YESHUA said that He came for the lost sheep of the House of Yisra’el, because the southern kingdom that included Judah and Benjamin were not lost unlike the other 10 tribes.

Ezra 1:1-4

“And in the first year of Cyrus the king of Persia, that the word of YAHWEH by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, YAHWEH stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, to proclaim throughout all his reign, and also in writing, saying, “Thus said Cyrus king of Persia, ‘YAHWEH ELOHIM of the heavens has given me all the reigns of the earth. And He has commanded me to build Him a House in Jerusalem which is in Judah. Who is among you of all His people? His ELOHIM be with him! And let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the House of YAHWEH ELOHIM of Yisra’el-He is ELOHIM-which Is in Jerusalem. And whoever is left from all the places where he sojourns, let the men of his place help him with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, besides the voluntary offerings for the House of ELOHIM which is in Jerusalem.” And the heads of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin (southern kingdom) and the priests and Levites, with all those whose spirits ELOHIM had stirred, rose up to go up and build the House of YAHWEH which is in Jerusalem.”

Then we know that the second temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. and the Jews have been scattered all over the world as well, although they were still able to maintain their identity. YAHWEH has made a promise to regather His people again and there will no longer be two houses with two kings! They will be restored back to one house with one king!

Isaiah 11:12-14

“And He shall raise a banner for the nations, and gather the outcasts of Yisra’el, and assemble the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. And the envy of Ephraim shall turn aside, and the adversaries of Judah will be cut off. Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah not trouble Ephraim. But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines towards the west; TOGETHER they plunder the people of the east, their hand stretching forth on Edom and Moab and the children of Ammon shall be subject to them.”

Ezekiel 37:15-25

“And the word of YAHWEH came to me, saying, “And you son on man, take a stick for yourself and write on it, “For Judah and for the children of Yisra’el, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘for Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Yisra’el, his companions.’ Then bring them together for yourself into one stick, and they shall become one in your hand. And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Won’t you show us what you mean by these? Say to them, “Thus said the Master YAHWEH, “See, I am taking the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Yisra’el, his companions. And I shall give them unto him, with the stick of Judah, and make them ONE STICK (One House), and they shall be ONE in My hand.” And the sticks on which you write be in your hand before their eyes. And speak to them, “Thus said the Master YAHWEH, “See, I am taking the children of Yisra’el from among the gentiles wherever they have gone (lost tribes), and shall gather them from all around, and I shall bring them into their land. And I shall make them ONE NATION in the land, on the mountains of Yisra’el. And ONE KING shall be King over them all, and let them no longer be two nations, and let them no longer be divided into two reigns. And they shall no longer defile themselves with their idols, nor with their filthiness, nor with any of their transgressions. And I shall save them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and I shall cleanse them. And they shall be My people, and I be their ELOHIM, while David My servant is King over them (YESHUA). And they shall all have one shepherd (YESHUA) and walk in My Right-Rulings and guard My Laws, and shall do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt. And they shall dwell in it, they and their children and their children’s children, FOREVER, and My servant David (YESHUA) be their prince FOREVER.”

So going back to the beginning of the article, we have YESHUA with the 12 disciples which is symbolic of the 12 Tribes reunited together again with One King ruling over them YESHUA HA’MASHIACH!

Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were NOT JEWS!

There are many who have been told or believe that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were Jews. Is this true according to the scriptures? Also, what is the definition of a Hebrew?

Firstly, the definition of Hebrew literally means “One from beyond” as Abraham came from beyond the Euphrates River to Haran. Hebrew also means to cross over like crossing a river as we saw our ancestors did in the scriptures and why it is speculated that they were called “Hebrews” which would make since why Abraham was called the first Hebrew.

Genesis 14:13

“And one who had escaped came and informed Abram the Hebrew…”

So Hebrew is a language and an action that is primarily based on crossing/traversing which means to travel across or through. Oneforisrael.org says the root letters of Hebrew are used to mean to “cross over, pass through.”

“As you can see, there are several mentions of watery crossings: Abraham coming from beyond the River Euphrates, the dramatic Red Sea crossing of the Exodus, and then the entry into the Promised Land as they crossed over the River Jordan. These Hebrews, these Ivrim, have sure done a fair amount of traversing! You can see why the Egyptians might have called them Hebrews – ones who came from beyond the river – and why Abraham was the ultimate Hebrew. As if to emphasize the point, the Hebrews went through not one but two rather miraculous water crossings; the first and most famous one being the parting of the Red Sea, but also when they finally reached their destination, the Jordan River piled up on either side as the priests set foot on the river bed, and the Hebrews crossed over on dry ground into their inheritance in the Promised Land.
But what is wonderful about this passage in Joshua is that it lines up the idea of leaving behind a life of idol worship and crossing over into worshiping the One True ELOHIM of Israel.”

Joshua 24:15

“Put away the mighty ones your fathers served in the region beyond the river… as for me and my house, we will serve the YAHWEH”.

For Joshua the symbolism was clear: on one side of the river is idol worship, but we have left that life behind when we crossed over to the other side. Now we will serve the YAHWEH.

So, we can also view this as us crossing over from Christianity into the true path of worshippers following YESHUA!  We see that the word Hebrew is for crossing over or passing through rivers and is also a language. So what ethnicity were Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Were they Jews? No! They were Arameans/Syrians!

Acts 7:2

“And he replied, “Men, brothers and fathers, listen: The ELOHIM of esteem appeared to our father Abraham when he was in ARAM NAHARAYIM, before he dwelt in Haran, and said to him, ‘Come out of YOUR LAND and from your relatives, and come here, into a land that I shall show you.”

This is scripture is clearly laid out where Abraham was from and his ethnicity, so question is where is Aram Naharayim? Aram is referred to as Syria and Mesopotamia, it is homeland of the Arameans, right along the border of Turkey; and Wikipedia says that various geographic and historical links also tie the two neighboring countries together. Since he was Aramean, it is believed that he spoke Aramaic hence the word Syriac text meaning Syrian another word for Aramaic. I can’t say it’s 100% fact, I’m just laying out the scriptures and wanting to piece them together. Jubilees shows that YAHWEH revealed the Hebrew language to Abraham after the Tower of Babel when He told Abraham to go to a land that He would show him, so was it possible Abraham spoke Aramaic up until this point when he was 75 years old? Jubilees 12 shows us that Abraham was 60 when he burned down his dad’s house of idols and we know that he did not depart from his dad Terah’s house until he was 75.

Jubilees 12:11

“And Nahor, his brother, took a wife. And in the SIXTIETH year of the life of Abram, that Is, is the fourth week, in the fourth year, Abram arose by night, and burned the house of the idols, and he burned all that was in the house, and no man knew it. Verse 16 And in the sixth week, in the fifth year, Abram sat up throughout the night, on the first day of the seventh month….” So, more time has elapsed since he was 60, then Abraham prayed to YAHWEH and He answered Him and this is where Abraham was 75 when he left.

Genesis 12:1-4

“And YAHWEH said to Abraham, “Go yourself out of your land, from your relatives and from your dad’s house to a land which I show you. And I shall make you a great nation, and bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing! And I shall bless those who bless you, and curse him who curses you. And in you all the clans of the earth shall be blessed.” So Abraham left as YAHWEH had commanded him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS old when he departed from Haran.”

Jubilees 12:22-27

“And he (Abraham) made an end of speaking and praying. And see, the word of YAHWEH was sent to him through me (messenger), saying “Get up from your land, and your clan and from the house of your dad, to a land which I shall show you, and I shall make you a great and numerous nation. And I shall bless you and I shall make your name great, and you shall be blessed in the earth, and in you shall all generations of the earth be blessed, and I shall bless them that bless you, and curse them that curses you. And I shall be an ELOHIM to you and your son, and to your son’s son, and to all your seed. Do not fear; from this time and to all generations of the earth, I am your ELOHIM. And YAHWEH ELOHIM said, “Open his (Abraham’s) mouth and his ears, that he may hear and speak with his mouth, with the LANGUAGE which has been revealed.” For it had ceased from the mouth of all the children of men from the day of the overthrow (Tower of Babel). And I opened his mouth, and his ears and his lips, and I began to speak with him in HEBREW in the TONGUE OF THE CREATION.” And he took the Books of his ancestors and these were written in Hebrew-and he TRANSCRIBED them, and he began from this time to study them. And I made known to him that which he could not understand, and he studied them during the six rainy months.”

Tying Genesis 12 and Jubilees 12 together we see that Abraham learned Hebrew when he was 75 years old, which ties into the this article which states:

The Native Language of Abraham. -It would be reasonable to infer that the native language of Abraham was Aramaic, since he emigrated from Ur of the Chaldees to the land of Canaan (Gen. xI. 31)…”

Isaac

So we see that Abraham was Aramean and he took his wife Sarah while he was in his homeland which would make her Aramean/Syrian as well.

Genesis 11:28-31

“And Haran died before his dad Terah in the land of his birth, in Ur-Kasdim (Kasdim is identified with the site of Urkesh-the capital of the Hurrian Kingdom, now in northeastern Syria, Josephus believed Ur-kasdim to be in Northern Mesopotamia which is Syria or Turkey) And Abram and Nahor took wives: the name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife, Milkah, the daughter of Haran the dad of Milkah and the dad of Yiskah. And Sarai was barren, she had no child. And Terah took his son Abram and his grandson Lot, son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram’s wife, and they went out with them from Ur-Kasdim to go the land of Canaan. And they came to Haran and dwelt there.”

So being that Abraham and Sarah were Aramean they would give birth to a son named Isaac who would be Aramean. We see that Abraham sends his servant back to his homeland in Aram Naharayim to take a wife for his son Isaac, which would make Rebecca an Aramean.

Genesis 24:1-10 (parenthesis mine)

“And Abraham was old, advanced in years. And YAHWEH had blessed Abraham in every way. And Abraham said to the oldest servant of his house, who ruled over all that he had, “Please, put you hand under my thigh, so that I make you swear by YAHWEH, the ELOHIM of the heavens and the ELOHIM of the earth, that you do not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell, but go to MY LAND (Birthplace) and MY RELAVTIVES (My tribe), and take a wife from my son Isaac. And the servant said to him, “What if the woman refused to follow me to this land? Do I then take your son back to the land from which you came? And Abraham said to him, “Beware lest you take my son back there! “YAHWEH, ELOHIM of the heavens, who took me from my dad’s house and from the land of my relatives, and who spoke to me and swore to me, saying, ‘To your seed I give this land,’ He sends His messenger before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there. And if the woman refused to follow you, then you shall be released from this oath; only, do not take my son back there.” Then the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and swore to him concerning this matter. And the servant took ten of his master’s camels and left, for all his master’s good were in his hand. And he arose and went to ARAM NAHARAYIM, to the city of Nahor.”

We have to remember that Nahor the brother of Abraham would have to be a Aramean since they were brothers, the same blood; and he took a wife Milkah which was his brother Haran’s daughter making her Aramean as well.

 Genesis 24:15

“And it came to be, before he had ended speaking, that see Rebecca, who was born to Bethu’el son of Milkah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, came out with her jar on her shoulder.”

So Nahor and Milkah would bring forth Aramean offspring which was Bethuel as we see Genesis 25:20

Genesis 25:20

“And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebecca as wife, the daughter of Bethu’el THE ARAMEAN OF PADDAM ARAM (Plain of Aram), the sister of Laban the ARAMEAN.”

So we see that Bethu’el the son of Nahor the brother of Abraham brought forth Laban and Rebecca who were both Aramean and the servant of Abraham went to get Rebecca the Aramean for Abraham’s Aramean son Isaac.

Jacob

So you guessed it! Isaac and Rebecca both being Aramean would produce an Aramean son named Jacob as we see in Deuteronomy 26.

Deuteronomy 26:5

“And you shall answer and say before YAHWEH your ELOHIM, My dad was a perishing ARAMEAN, and he went down to Egypt and sojourned there with a few men. And there he became a nation, great, mighty, and numerous. But the Egyptians did evil to us, and afflicted us, and imposed hard labor on us.”

The context of this scripture shows us that this is Jacob because he and his sons went down to Egypt and sojourned there with a few men and increased greatly, the supporting scripture is:

Exodus 1:1-7

“And these are the names of the children of Yisra’el who came to Egypt with Jacob, each one with his household: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah; Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin; Dan and Naphtali, Gad and Asher. And all those who were descendants of Jacob were seventy beings, as Joseph was already in Egypt. And Joseph died and all his brothers, and all that generation. And the children of Yisra’el bore fruit and increased very much, multiplied and became very strong, and the land was filled with them.”

So, we see from scripture that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were Arameans and not Jews; furthermore, the Jews did not even exist until Jacob begot Judah his fourth born son; and his tribe would later be called Jews. As always let us strive to walk in the truth of the scriptures and rejoice in the treasure that is discovered.

Divinity of YESHUA: A Treasure lost in Translation!

We will be looking at the deeper meaning of Isaiah 40:5 from the Septuagint and how it ties in with John 1 with YESHUA; then discuss the real meaning of the word “The Word” in John 1 from the Aramaic language and discover a true treasure contained within it; and it’s something that no one including those who doubt the divinity of YESHUA  will NOT want to miss.

One thing that I believe strongly in is etymology of the original words used and reading from translations that are closest to the original as we can get. We must dig for treasure because its not laying on the surface, but when you find it you will shout for joy.

Mathew 13:44

“Again, the reign of the heavens is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man having found it, hid, and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”

This is the feeling that comes over me when I see treasure contained within older translations that helps to restore the true meaning of what YAHWEH wanted us to know and I would like to discuss the treasure of what is said of YESHUA. Although, we already know YESHUA is the Son of YAHWEH and was here from the beginning, it is still beautiful to see it written in ancient texts. Firstly, lets read Isaiah 40:3-5 in the Masoretic text and then compare it to the Septuagint.

Isaiah 40:3-5 (Masoretic)

“The voice of one crying in the wilderness, “Prepare the way of YAHWEH; make straight in the desert a highway for our ELOHIM. Let every valley be raised, and every mountain and hill made low. And the steep ground shall become level, and the rough places smooth. And the esteem of YAHWEH shall be revealed, and all flesh together shall see it. For the mouth of YAHWEH has spoken.”

Isaiah 40:3-5 (Septuagint)

“The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of YAHWEH, make straight the paths of our ELOHIM. Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill shall be brought low: and all the crooked ways shall become straight and the rough places plains. And the esteem of YAHWEH shall APPEAR and all flesh shall see THE SALVATION OF YAHWEH: for YAHWEH has spoken it.”

The words “Appear” and “Salvation of YAHWEH” that is included in the Septuagint has more impact and I’ll explain why. Let’s break this prophecy down:

Verse 3-4 ““The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of YAHWEH, make straight the paths of our ELOHIM. Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill shall be brought low: and all the crooked ways shall become straight and the rough places plains.”

This is a prophecy of Yochanan The Immerser (John The Baptist) preparing the way for YESHUA and the following scriptures match this prophecy.

John 1:20-23

“And he (John the Baptist) confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, I am not The Messiah.” And they asked him, “Who then, are you Elijah?” So he said, “I am not.” Are you the Prophet? And he answered, “No.” Therefore they said to him, “Who are you, so that we give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself? He said, I AM A VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, “MAKE STRAIGHT THE WAY OF YAHWEH,” as the prophet Isaiah said.” Which we just quoted from Isaiah 40:3

Luke 1:76

“And you (John), child, shall be called prophet of the Most High, for you shall go before the face of YAHWEH to prepare His ways…”

Acts 19:4

“And Paul said, “John indeed immersed with an immersion of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the One who is coming AFTER HIM, that is, in Messiah YESHUA.”

This is why John said in John 1:15 “John bore witness of Him and cried out saying, “This was He of whom I said, “He who comes after me has become before me, because He was before me.”

So John prepared the way for YESHUA to come with immersion to turn from sins to ELOHIM and to believe in YESHUA who came after him, although YESHUA was before him, meaning that YESHUA was here from the very beginning. I will go into greater detail when we discuss the Aramaic etymology of John 1. But now, lets look at verse 5 from Isaiah.

Isaiah 40:5

“And the esteem of YAHWEH shall APPEAR and all flesh shall see THE SALVATION OF YAHWEH: for YAHWEH has spoken it.”

Titus 2:11

“For the saving Gift of YAHWEH has appeared to ALL MEN…”

This is beautifully written in the Septuagint because the part about seeing the “Salvation of YAHWEH” is missing in the Masoretic text.  This important because the esteem of YAHWEH did physically appear in the flesh when YESHUA walked the earth taking on the form of a Man being without sin and dying for our sins .Then the part that says we shall see the Salvation of YAHWEH ties in with YESHUA’s Name because His Name literally means “YAHWEH is Salvation”. The prophecy makes more sense and makes an easier connection to the events that took place from the scriptures above.

Testament of Judah 24:1-6 (12 Patriarchs)

“And after these things will a star arise to you from Jacob in peace, and a man will arise, like the sun of righteousness, WALKING WITH THE SONS OF MEN in humility and righteousness. And NO SIN WILL BE FOUND IN HIM. The heavens will be open to him, to pour out the spirit, even the blessing of the Holy Father. And He will pour out the spirit of favor upon you. And you will be sons to Him in truth, and you will walk in His commands first and last. Then the scepter of my kingdom will shine forth; and from your root will arise a stem. And from it will grow a rod of righteousness to the nations to judge and to save all that call upon YAHWEH.”

The prophecy written by Isaiah in the Septuagint saying that the esteem of YAHWEH shall appear meaning that the One who appeared was here from the beginning and is ELOHIM in the flesh and the image of YAHWEH the Father who is invisible. So let’s now examine what the Aramaic Peshitta has to say about John 1. Aramaic is what many scholars believe to be the language that the New Testament was written in and is the language that YESHUA and His disciples spoke. So  looking at the etymology of the word that John in the Besorah (Gospels/message/report) we can get a deeper understanding of the message he was delivering to his audience. But first I want to cite two quote’s one from the head of the Holy Apostolic Church of the East and one from a website concerning Aramaic:

“With reference to…the originality of the Peshitta text, as the Patriarch and Head of the Holy Apostolic Church of the East, we wish to state, that the Church of the East received the scriptures from the hands of the blessed Apostles themselves in the ARAMAIC ORIGINAL. The language spoken by our Master YESHUA HA’MASHIACH Himself, and that the Peshitta is the text of the Church of the East which has come down from the Biblical times without any change or revision.” (Patriarch Mar Eshai Shimun, April 5, 1957).

Also, alephtavscriptures.com adds this:

The Aramaic language is a tongue whose origin is lost in the mists of antiquity. It appears early on in the book of Genesis (Genesis 31:47, in the words of Laban: Yegar Sahadutha – Aramaic for "Heap of Witness.) and is used again in several other places throughout the Hebrew Scriptures. Particularly, we see that parts of the books of Ezra ( Ezra 4:8-22; 5:1-6, 12; 7:12-26.)  and Daniel (Daniel 2:4 - 7:28) are actually written in the Aramaic language. I would like to add that Enoch has some Aramaic contained in it as well, I include this to show that Aramaic is not foreign to the text of scripture.

(Article continued) “Of all tongues, it is the most similar to Hebrew. In fact, the two languages not only share the exact same alphabet, but they also use many of the same vocabulary words, and have scores of cognates between them. A careful reading of the Scriptures in Hebrew sees repeated instances where the Holy Tongue borrows an Aramaic word here or there – evidence of the close affinity shared by the languages due to the cultural exchange of that time. In this consonance of the languages, the Aramaic of the New Covenant text of the Peshitta provides the reader with transitions from the Hebrew Scriptures that are beautiful and near-flawless in execution. One reading the Hebrew text, and then moving to the Aramaic, will find that the same Spirit is truly at work in the composition of the source-texts. Unlike the Greek, in reading from the Aramaic Peshitta one cannot help but feel the natural, fluid continuation of the Hebrew Bible: the reader is introduced to the את Aleph-Tav in bodily form in the Aramaic texts (words) of the Peshitta in the linguistics that so powerfully mirror the Hebrew. Historically, Aramaic was known to some extent by the Israelites during the period of the kings, but it was not until the exile to Babylon and the long captivity in those eastern lands that Aramaic began to have a more dominant role in the lives of Abraham’s descendants – as evidenced by the use of it in the two aforementioned books written during Israel’s captivity in the east. By the time of the return of many Israelites to the promised land, it had transitioned to become the common language of the people7 – so much so that the Torah / Law was in need of being translated into the Aramaic tongue during the times when it was read publicly from the Hebrew Scrolls.”

John 1:1-3 (Aramaic Peshitta Etheridge translation, 1846) Parenthesis Mine!

“In the beginning was the Word (The Miltha), and the Word (Miltha) HIMSELF was with ELOHIM, and ELOHIM was the Word Himself. This was in the beginning with ELOHIM. Everything by HIS hand was made; and without Him also was not one thing made that was made.”

As you can see the Aramaic version completely removes the doubt of those who say YESHUA was not here from the beginning and that the Word was “spoken words” by YAHWEH and not literally YESHUA!

Revelation 19:13

“And having been dressed in a robe dipped in blood-and His Name is called: The WORD OF YAHWEH.”

Cleary, the Word is YESHUA and always was from the very beginning. However, there is still more treasure to uncover about the word “WORD” in the Aramaic. The word used for WORD in Aramaic is “Miltha” which has a way more deeper meaning than and there is no English equivalent for it. Miltha means PHYSICAL MANIFESTATION OF ELOHIM, THE SUBSTANCE OF ELOHIM and THE WORD OF ELOHIM. Which is why I was making the connection from Isaiah 40:5 with YAHWEH saying that His esteem would literally APPEAR because YESHUA is the Physical Manifestation of the Invisible ELOHIM and Paul agrees with this:

Colossians 1:13-17 (Aramaic Peshitta Etheridge translation, 1846)

“Who has delivered us from the authority of darkness and transferred us into the reign of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, who is the LIKENESS OF THE INVLISBLE ELOHIM (PHYSIFAL MANIFESTATION) The First-Born of all creation. And BY HIM was everything created that is in heaven and in earth; all that is seen, and all that is unseen, whether thrones or dominions or princes or powers; all things by HIS hand and through Him were created; and He is BEFORE ALL and everything by Him all hold together.”

Paul agrees with John that YESHUA was here from the beginning and created the heavens and the earth at the pleasure of His Father YAHWEH and that He is the physical manifestation, the image of the invisible YAHWEH! This is truly beautiful when reading the scriptures the way that our ancestors read and understood it especially the original churches in the East before the scriptures became westernized.

Peshitta.org adds this:

Other than the sacred words of the Shema (Deuteronomy 6:4), no other words in the Hebrew Tenakh are more moving to any Jew as Exodus 3:14. There, ELOHIM gives Moshe His Real Name, and He says: EHYEH ASHER EYHEH (a title), which can be translated as I AM THAT I AM or, I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE. The fact is, both Hebrew tenses of past and future are inherent in the phrase, leading many sages to refer to ELOHIM simply as The Eternal, or the Pre-Existent One. Continuing then, the next line then ELOHIM  says, "You shall tell the Egyptians that I AM has sent you to them." As a result I AM (EHYEH) became a sacred title, and the ACTUAL NAME became revealed as YHWH, which is derived from EHYEH (is) and HWA (was).

Now in Aramaic, the word "I" is rendered as ENA, and 99.9% of the time the equivalent phrase of AM (NA) is implied. However, it is also correct to say ENA-NA, but most would not dare to utter that phrase. The reason for their reticence is because ENA-NA is the Aramaic equivalent of EHYEH. Or, to put it another way, humans can be ENA, but to say ENA-NA is to refer solely to the eternal aspect and existence of YHWH. But, when YESHUA speaks of himself, guess what? He says ENA-NA. Therefore, it was not just because YESHUA claimed to have been before Abraham that caused his opponents to pick up stones against him. No, YESHUA went a step further. By saying ENA-NA, YESHUA was saying that he is eternal and PRE-CREATION…”

Revelation 3:14 (Aramaic Peshitta Etheridge translation, 1846)

“And to the angel of the church which is Laodicea write: These saith the men, the Witness, the faithful, the true, the HEAD OF THE CREATION OF ELOHIM.”

John 1:3 (Aramaic Peshitta Etheridge translation, 1846)

“Every thing by His hand was made; and without Him also was not one thing made that was made.”

YESHUA being the Head of the Creation of YAHWEH  agrees with John 1, Colossians 1, and Hebrews 1; and further proves that YESHUA would have to have been present from the very beginning of time in order to create the heavens and earth. I pray this clears up the confusion of those who are denying who YESHUA is because without Him no one can be saved.

Enoch 48:2-6

“And at that hour the Son of Man was named in the presence of the Master of Spirits, and His Name before the Head of Days. Yes, BEFORE the sun and the signs were created, BEFORE the stars of the heaven were made, His Name was named before the Master of Spirits. He will be a staff to the righteous on which to steady themselves and not fall, and He will be the light of the Nations, and the hope of those who are troubled of heart. All who dwell on earth shall fall down and worship before Him, and will praise and bless and celebrate the Master of Spirits with song. And for this reason He has been chosen and hidden before Him, BEFORE the creation of the world and forevermore.”

Do you have to be immersed (baptized) in water?

I have heard some people say that being immersed (baptized) in water is not a requirement anymore and that believing in YESHUA is all that if you have to do. Again, this shows how the world is taught that YESHUA has done it all and there is nothing left for the believer to do but play church. So, we will look at scripture to answer, do you have to be immersed in water? Can you receive the RUACH HA’KODESH before water immersion? And also, do you have to speak in tongues when you receive the RUACH HA’KODESH?

Being immersed in water is a symbolic action that represents washing your sins away preferably in living water (mayim chayim) which is a body of water like a river, etc.

Acts 22:15-16

“Because you (Paul) shall be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now, why do you delay? Rise up, be IMMERSED, and WASH AWAY YOUR SINS, calling on the Name of YAHWEH.”

Although, we know that only ELOHIM can remove the sins from anyone, the act of water immersion is a part of the process, it is obedience to YAHWEH and is something that ALL believers should do. The water expresses the already repentant heart that the believer wants to turn away from their sins to YAHWEH! Peter says this in:

Acts 2:38

“And Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each of you be IMMERSED in the Name of YESHUA HA’MASHIACH for the forgiveness of sins. And you shall receive the gift of the RUACH HA’KODESH.”

 Water was always a way to purify ritual uncleanness by bathing in water (a mikveh) a bath that contained water from a water source. An example of this:

Leviticus 15:13

“And when he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, and shall wash his garments, and shall BATHE his flesh in RUNNING WATER, and be clean.”

Being immersed in the RUACH HA’KODESH and with fire means that He will change your nature so that you are not the same person you were beforehand. The kind of change that people say “They don’t recognize you anymore” or they think you in a cult or are too extreme in your love and zeal for YAHWEH! And with fire is the divine purification process to purge you of sins and making you acceptable to ELOHIM! Even though the power of ELOHIM is working within us we see that immersion in water is a necessity.

The act of immersion brings a spiritual regeneration where you die to your old self and your sins as YESHUA died for us; and be raised a new creature living for YESHUA with the expectation to be raised to eternal life. As Paul says in:

Romans 6:1-6

“What, then, shall we say? Shall we continue in sin, to let favor increase? Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? Or do you not know that as many of us were IMMERSED into Messiah YESHUA were IMMERSED into His death? We were therefore buried with Him through immersion into death, that as Messiah was raised from the dead by the esteem of the Father, so also, we should walk in newness of life. For if we have come to be grown together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also of the resurrection, knowing this, that our old man (sin nature inherited from Adam) was impaled with Him, so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, to serve sin no longer.”

Make no mistake there is only ONE immersion, and that immersion is to be in the Body of Messiah as a citizen of Yisra’el with the native-born and gentiles grafted in as ONE; and Paul makes that clear as well as he addresses that there is only ONE belief/faith.

Ephesians 4:4-6

“One Body and One Spirit, as you also were called in one expectation of your calling, one Master, One belief, ONE IMMERSION, one ELOHIM and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

Do you have to be immersed in water?

The perfect scripture to show that immersion is a process involving water found in Acts when Phillip immersed the Kushite eunuch will set the stage for all the scriptures that follow:

Acts 8:35-39

“And Phillip opening his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, brought to him (The Kushite eunuch) the Good News: YESHUA! And as they were going on the way, they came to some WATER. And the eunuch said, “Look, WATER! What hinders me from being IMMERSED?” And Phillip said, “If you believe with all your heart, it is permitted.” And he answering said, “I believe that YESHUA HA’MASHIACH is The Son of YAHWEH.” And he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Phillip and the eunuch went down into the WATER, and he IMMERSED him.”

Mathew 28:19-20 (Parenthesis mine)

“Therefore, go and instruct ALL (not some) the nations, IMMERSING, them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the RUACH HA’KODESH, teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you.”

Mark 16:16

“He who has believed and has been IMMERSED, shall be saved, but he who has not believed shall be condemned.”

John 3:5

“YESHUA answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of WATER and the Spirit, he is unable to enter into the reign of ELOHIM.”

Acts 2:38

“And Peter said to them, Repent, and let each one of you be IMMERSED in the Name of YESHUA HA’MASHIACH for the forgiveness of sins. And you shall receive the gift of the RUACH HA’KODESH.”

Acts 8:12-14

“And when they believed Phillip as he brought the Good News about the reign of ELOHIM and the Name of YESHUA HA’MASHIACH, both men and women were IMMERSED. And Simon himself also believed. And when he was IMMERSED he continued with Phillip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which took place.:

Acts 9:17-18

“And Hananiah went away and went into the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Paul, the Master YESHUA, who appeared to you on the way as you came, has sent me, so that you might see again and be filled with the RUACH HA’KODESH.” And immediately there fell from his eyes, as it were scales, and he received his sight. And rising up, he was IMMERSED.”

Acts 16:14-15

“And a certain woman named Ludia, a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, worshipping ELOHIM, was hearing, whose heart the Master opened to pay attention to what Paul said. And when she was IMMERSED and her household, she begged us, saying, “if you have judged me to be believing in the Master, come to my house and stay.” And she urged us.”

Acts 16:30-33

“And having let them outside he said, “Masters, what do I have to do to be saved? And they said, “Believe on the Master YESHUA HA’MASHIACH, and you shall be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the Word of YAHWEH to him and to all who were in his house. And taking them in that hour of the night, he washed their wounds, and immediately he was IMMERSED, he and all that were his.”

Acts 18:7-8

“And having left there he (Paul) came to the house of a certain man named Yustos, who worshipped ELOHIM, whose house was next to the congregation. And Krispus, the ruler of the congregation, believed in the Master with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were IMMERSED.”

Do you have to be immersed to receive the RUACH HA’KODESH?

Acts 10:44-47

“While Peter was still speaking these words, the RUACH HA’KODESH fell upon all those hearing the Word. And those of the circumcision (native-born Jews) who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the RUACH HA’KODESH had been poured out on the gentiles also, for they were hearing them speaking with tongues and extolling ELOHIM. Then Peter answered, “Is anyone able to forbid WATER, that these should not be IMMERSED, who have received the RUACH HA’KODESH- even as also we?”

Here we see that the gentiles received the RUACH HA’KODESH before being immersed in water; however, afterwards they were still immersed in water in obedience to the command. So regardless if you receive Him before or afterwards, immersion in water is still a requirement.

Sometimes required the laying on of the hands!

Sometimes even after the immersion process of water it took the laying on of hands for them to receive the RUACH HA’KODESH.

Acts 8:14-18 (Verse 13 shows they were already immersed in water)

“And when the emissaries who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the Word of YAHWEH, they sent Peter and John to them, who, when they had come down, prayed for them to receive the RUACH HA’KODESH, which had NOT YET fallen on any of them, but they had only been immersed in the Name of the Master YESHUA. Then they LAID HANDS on them, and they received the RUACH HA’KODESH, and Simon seeing that through the LAYING ON OF THE HANDS of the emissaries the RUACH HA’KODESH was given, he offered them money.”

Acts 19:1-6

“And it came to be, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper parts, came to Ephesus. And having found some disciples, he said to them, “Did you receive the RUACH HA’KODESH when you believed? And they said to him, “No, we have not even heard that there is a RUACH HA’KODESH. And he said to them, “Into what then were you immersed?” And they said, “Into John’s immersion.” And Paul said, “John indeed immersed with an immersion of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the One who is coming after him, that is, in Messiah YESHUA.” And when they heard this, they were immersed in the Name of the Master YESHUA. And when Paul had LAID HANDS on them, the RUACH HA’KODESH came upon them, and they were speaking in tongues and prophesying.”

Do you have to speak in tongues when you receive the RUACH HA’KODESH?

Most in Christianity teach that if you do not speak in tongues then you do not have the RUACH HA’KODESH! Is this true? Let’s look at examples from scripture to show why this is false.

Firstly, speaking in tongues means to speak in other languages that is unknown to the speaker, but known to the hearer. Examples of this:

Mark 16:17

“And these signs shall accompany the ones who believe: In My Name they shall cast out demons, they shall speak with renewed tongues…

The word renewed tongues is the Greek word “Glossa” #G1100, which means the LANGUAGE or DIALECT used by a particular people distinct from that of other nations. So this makes sense when we see what YESHUA said in verse 15 “Go into ALL THE WORLD and proclaim the Good News to every creature.”

So being that they were Galileans who spoke Aramaic, how could they preach the gospel to other nations, when there would be a language barrier? We see the fulfillment of this happen on Shavuot.

Acts 2:1-11 (Parenthesis mine)

“And when the Day of the Festival of Shavuot had come, they were all with one mind in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from the heavens, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and settled on each one of them. And they were all filled with the RUACH HA’KODESH and began to speak with other tongues (Glossa/languages), as the Spirit gave them to speak. Now in Jerusalem there were dwelling Jews, dedicated men from every nation under the heavens. And when this sound came to be, the crowd came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his OWN LANGUAGE. And they were all amazed and marveled, saying to each other, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how do we hear each one in our own LANGUAGE (#G1259 Dialektos where the word dialect comes from) in which we were born? Parthians and Madites and Eylamites, and those dwelling in Aram Naharayim, both Judah and Kappadokia, Pontus and Asia, both Phrugia and Pamphulia, Egypt and the parts of Libue around Kurene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and converts, Kreteans and Arabs, we hear them speaking in our own TONGUES, the great deeds of ELOHIM.”

Another example is the Lashon Ha’kodesh (The Holy tongue is the Hebrew language):

Jubilees 12:25-26

“And YAHWEH ELOHIM said, “Open his (Abraham’s) mouth and his ears, that he may hear and speak with his mouth, with the LANGUAGE which has been revealed.” For it had ceased from the mouth of all the children of men from the day of the overthrow (Tower of Babel). And I opened his mouth, and his ears and his lips, and I began to speak with him in HEBREW in the TONGUE OF THE CREATION.”

Isaiah 36:11

“Then Elyakim and Shevna and Yo’ach said to him, speak to your servants in the ARAMAIC TONGUE; for we understand it: and do not speak to us in Yehudit (Hebrew): and why do you speak in the ears of the men on the wall?”

2 Kings 18:26

“And Elyakim the son of Chilkiyahu and Shevna and Yo’ach, said to Rav-Shakeh speak now to your servants in the ARAMAIC LANGUAGE, for we understand it…”

So as we see, the account in Isaiah is the same account found in 2 Kings, but notice how one passage says tongue and the other says language? That is because they are interchangeable! Tongues in scripture is always languages!

So do you have to speak in other languages when you receive the RUACH HA’KODESH? The following scriptures show that when they were immersed that there is no mention of them speaking in tongues at all.

Acts 9:17-18

“And Hananiah went away and went into the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Paul, the Master YESHUA, who appeared to you on the way as you came, has sent me, so that you might see again and be filled with the RUACH HA’KODESH.” And immediately there fell from his eyes, as it were scales, and he received his sight. And rising up, he was IMMERSED.”

Acts 16:14-15

“And a certain woman named Ludia, a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, worshipping ELOHIM, was hearing, whose heart the Master opened to pay attention to what Paul said. And when she was IMMERSED and her household, she begged us, saying, “if you have judged me to be believing in the Master, come to my house and stay.” And she urged us.”

Acts 16:30-33

“And having let them outside he said, “Masters, what do I have to do to be saved? And they said, “Believe on the Master YESHUA HA’MASHIACH, and you shall be saved, you and your household.” And they spoke the Word of YAHWEH to him and to all who were in his house. And taking them in that hour of the night, he washed their wounds, and immediately he was IMMERSED, he and all that were his.”

Acts 18:7-8

“And having left there he (Paul) came to the house of a certain man named Yustos, who worshipped ELOHIM, whose house was next to the congregation. And Krispus, the ruler of the congregation, believed in the Master with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, believed and were IMMERSED.”

Numbers 11:15 (When YAHWEH took from Moses’ Spirit and placed upon the 70 elders)

“And YAHWEH came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him (Moses) and placed the same upon the seventy elders. And it came to be, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, but did not continue.”

So here we see them prophesying and not speaking in tongues. I know that this was before the immersion process in the New Testament, but I wanted to make a reference of not everyone speaking tongues (languages) when the RUACH HA’KODESH falls upon them.

Lastly, I would like to add this concerning the tongues:

1 Corinthians 12:7-12

“And to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for profiting, for to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit, and to another belief by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the same Spirit, and to another operations of powers, and to another prophesy, and to another discerning of spirits, and to another KINDS OF TONGUES, and to another interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these, distributing to each one individually as He intends. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is HA’MASHIACH.”

So, most in Christianity says that if you don’t speak in other languages that you don’t have the RUACH HA’KODESH and from the scriptures above that is shown not be true, but also that it is a gift that that NOT EVERYONE will receive. The RUACH HA’KODESH distributes these gifts as He intends, and we all will not have the same gifts.

Repent! You cannot hide your sins!

Our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA’s love and mercy endures forever, but we have to strive for the goal to be pure in mind and body the best way that we can and be led by The RUACH HA’KODESH. If you fail get back up and repent; however, the goal is not to run out purposely sinning.

1 John 2:1

“My little children, I write this to you, so that you DO NOT SIN. And if anyone sins, we have an Intercessor with the Father, YESHUA HA’MASHICH, a righteous One.”

Mathew 26:27

“And taking the cup, and giving thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood, that of the Renewed Covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

Acts 5:30

“The ELOHIM of our ancestors raised up YESHUA whom you laid hands on and hung on a timber. Him, a Prince and a Savior, ELOHIM has exalted to His right hand, to give repentance to Yisra’el and forgiveness of sins.”

YESHUA paid the price for all of our sins by trading places with us and bearing the wrath of the sins that we deserved. But, now with this should come a transforming of your mind being a new creature and turning away from sins and not going back to them.

2 Corinthians 5:14-17

“For the love of Messiah compels us, having judged this: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them, and was raised. So from now onwards we know no one according to the flesh. And if we have known Messiah according to the flesh, yet now we no longer know. Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a RENEWED CREATURE- the old have passed away, see, all have become RENEWED!”

Being immersed in The RUACH HA’KODESH and fire means that the RUACH HA’KODESH is living in you and brings about a change in character and the fire is to divinely purify you from your sins making you acceptable to YAHWEH through His Son YESHUA! The goal is striving not to sin and to live righteous holy lives and not appearing to be righteous in front of men, but in the privacy of your own homes you’re not living it.

Mathew 23:27

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are like whitewashed tombs which outwardly indeed look well, but inside are filled with dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.” So outwardly indeed appear righteous to men, but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness.”

You must develop the mentality that YAHWEH is watching you in every situation and that you cannot hide anything from Him. Just because a human being did not witness the sins you are committing does not mean that YAHWEH doesn’t see you. True repentance is fearing to not upset ELOHIM and to definitely not keep revisiting the same sins over and over again.

Anyone thinking that you can hide your sins from our Creator is mistaken and a example of this is found in Ezekiel 8.

Ezekiel 8:1-18

“And it came to be in the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth of the month, as I sat in my house with the elders of Yehudah (Judah) sitting before me, that the hand of the Master יהוה (YAHWEH) fell upon me there.

2And I looked and saw a likeness, like the appearance of fire. From His waist and downward the appearance was like fire, and from His waist and upward the appearance of brightness, like glowing metal.

3And He stretched out the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my hair. And the Spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heavens, and brought me in visions of ELOHIM to Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), to the door of the north gate of the inner court, where the seat of the image of jealousy was, which causes jealousy.

4And see, the esteem of the ELOHIM of Yisra’ĕl was there, like the vision that I saw in the plain.

5And He said to me, “Son of man, please lift your eyes toward the north.” And I lifted my eyes northward, and north of the slaughter-place gate I saw this image of jealousy in the entrance.

6And He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations which the house of Yisra’ĕl are doing here, driving Me away from My holy  place? And you are to see still greater abominations.”

7Then He brought me to the door of the court. And I looked and saw a hole in the wall.

8And He said to me, “Son of man, please dig into the wall.” And when I dug into the wall I saw a door.

9And He said to me, “Go in, and see the evil abominations which they are doing there.”

10And I went in and looked and saw all kinds of creeping creatures, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Yisra’ĕl, carved all around on the walls.

11And facing them stood seventy men of the elders of the house of Yisra’ĕl, and in their midst stood Ya‛azanyahu son of Shaphan. Each one had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up.

12And He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Yisra’ĕl are doing in the dark, each one in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘יהוה (YAHWEH) does not see us, יהוה (YAHWEH) has forsaken the land.’ ”

13And He said to me, “You are to see still greater abominations which they are doing.”

14And He brought me to the door of the north gate of the House of יהוה (YAHWEH) and I saw women sitting there, weeping for Tammuz.

15Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? You are to see still greater abominations than these.”

16And He brought me into the inner court of the House of יהוה (YAHWEH). And there, at the door of the Hĕḵal of יהוה (YAHWEH), between the porch and the slaughter-place, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the Hĕḵal of יהוה (YAHWEH) and their faces toward the east, and they were bowing themselves eastward to the sun.

17And He said to me, “Have you seen, O son of man? Is it a small matter to the house of Yehuḏah to do the abominations which they have done here? For they have filled the land with violence, and turn back to provoke Me. And see, they are putting the branch to My nose.

18“Therefore I shall indeed deal in wrath. My eye shall not pardon nor would I spare. And they shall cry in My ears with a loud voice, but I shall not hear them.”

The elders of Yisra’el, men and women dug a hole in the wall thinking that they were hiding from the sight of YAHWEH as they committed all kind of abominations in the dark, Verse 12 says it all 12And He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Yisra’ĕl are doing in the dark, each one in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘יהוה (YAHWEH) does not see us, יהוה (YAHWEH) has forsaken the land.’ ”

The same way the children of Yisra’el thought that they were hiding their sins even by digging a hole in the wall is the same way many are trying to hide their sins today. It’s time to repent and turn and completely give your life to YESHUA before it’s too late and walk with Him. I have heard many believers say that they can sin for 6 days out of the week and then go to church and repent and start the cycle over again. This is not true repentance, but the mentality of the “once saved always saved” crowd. Those who commit murder and think that because man did not catch them that they got away with it, or a false witness breathing out lies, those committing adultery, fornicating, getting drunk, watching porn, those who won’t forgive, gambling, stealing, sneaking out the house as teenagers, cussing around friends but not around parents, every vow that you made and did not fulfill, and idolatry the list goes on. How is it that anyone can think that they can hide their sins from the One who created them?

2 Kings 17:9-12

“And the children of Yisra’el secretly did matters against YAHWEH their ELOHIM that were not right, and they built for themselves high places in all their cities, from watchtower unto the walled city, and put up for themselves pillars and Asherim on every high hill and under every tree, and burned incense there on all the high places, like the gentiles whom YAHWEH had removed from their presence. And they did evil matters to provoke YAHWEH, and served the idols, of which YAHWEH had said to them, “Do not do this.”

So, we see again the children of Yisra’el thought they were secretly sinning against YAHWEH, but they provoked the anger of YAHWEH because He saw all of their deeds and exiled the northern kingdom the House of Yisra’el to Assyria. The problem is that which is done in the dark comes to light, that which you do when you think nobody is watching, YAHWEH sees this, so its time to repent and turn away from these sins if this is you.

The Hebrew word for repent is teshuvah which means to “turn back to ELOHIM”. To feel pain, sorrow, or regret, to change the mind or course of conduct, to be sorry for sin as evil and seek forgiveness; to cease to love and practice sin.

Supporting Scriptures that ELOHIM sees all

Testament of Judah 20:1-5

“Therefore my children, know that two spirits wait upon man: the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. And in between is the spirit of understanding of the mind, which inclines wherever it wills. And the works of truth and the works of error are written on the hearts of men, and YAHWEH KNOWS EACH ONE OF THEM. And there is NO TIME AT WHICH THE WORKS OF MEN CAN BE HIDDEN, for they have been written on the heart itself before YAHWEH. And the spirit of truth witnesses all things, and accuses all; and the sinner is burned up by his own heart, and cannot raise his face to the Judge.”

Psalms 90:8

“You have laid our wickedness before You, our hidden ways in the light of Your face.”

Clearly what mankind thinks is hidden to them is clearly seen by YAHWEH!

Psalms 94:5-9

“They crush Your people, O YAHWEH, and they afflict Your inheritance. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. Yet they say, “YAH DOES NOT SEE, and the ELOHIM of Jacob PAY NO HEED.” Take heed, you senseless among the people; and you fools, when would you become wise? He who planted the ear, does He not hear? He who formed the eye, does He NOT SEE?”

Sirach 23:18-19

“An adulterer, says thus in his heart: “WHO SEES ME? I am surrounded with darkness. The walls cover me, and no one sees me; what do I need to fear? The Most High shall not remember my sins.” Such a man only fears the eyes of men, and does not know that the eyes of YAHWEH are ten thousand times brighter than the sun, watching all the ways of men, and observing the most secret places.”

Isaiah 29:15

“Woe to those who seek deep to HIDE their counsel far from YAHWEH, and their works are in the DARK, they say, “WHO SEES US?” AND, “WHO KNOWS US?”

Isaiah 47:10-11

“And you have trusted in your evil, you have said. “NO ONE SEES ME.’ Your wisdom and your knowledge have led you astray. And you have said in your heart, I am, and there is none but me.’ But evil shall come upon you, not knowing from where it arises, and trouble fall upon you, being unable to put it off, and ruin come upon you suddenly, which you know not.”

Proverbs 24:12

“If you say, “See, we did not know this,” would not He who weighs the hearts discern it? And shall He not repay man according to his work?”

Jasher 1:21-23

“And Cain said to his brother Abel, “Surely if I slay you today, who will require your blood from me? And Abel answered Cain, saying, “Surely ELOHIM who has made us in the earth, He will avenge my cause, and He will require my blood from you, if you slay me. For YAHWEH is the Judge and Mediator, and it is He who will repay man according to his evil, and the wicked man according to the wickedness that he may do upon earth. And now, if you slay me here, surely ELOHIM KNOWS YOUR SECRET VIEWS, and will judge you for the evil which you declared to do to me today.”

Jasher 1:28-30

“And YAHWEH KNEW what Cain had done to his brother, and YAHWEH appeared to Cain and said to him, “Where is Abel your brother that was with you? And Cain mislead, and said, “I do not know am I my brother’s keeper? And YAHWEH said to him, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries to me from the ground where you have slain him. For you have slain your brother and have mislead before Me, and imagined in your heart THAT I DID NOT SEE YOU, NOR KNEW ALL YOUR ACTIONS.”

Jasher 11:61

“And when Abram had ceased speaking before the king and princes, Abram lifted up his eyes to the heavens, and said, YAHWEH SEES ALL the wicked, and He will judge them.”

Hebrews 4:12-13

“For the WORD of YAHWEH is living, and working, and sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through even to the dividing of being and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. AND THERE IS NO CREATURE HIDDEN FROM HIS SIGHT, BUT ALL ARE NAKED and laid bare before the eyes of Him with whom is our account.”

Enoch 9:5

“You have made all things, and You have power over all things: AND ALL THINGS ARE NAKED AND OPEN IN YOUR SIGHT, and YOU SEE ALL THINGS, and NOTHING CAN HIDE ITSELF FROM YOU.”

The Scriptures from Hebrews and Enoch are nearly identical about YAHWEH seeing all things and all things being naked before Him, and no creature can hide from His sight. As you see many scriptures are stressing the importance of this which means we should be paying extra attention.

Enoch 98:5-7

“And barrenness has not been given to the woman, but on account of the deeds of her own hands she dies without children. I have sworn to you, you sinners, by the Holy Great One, that ALL YOUR EVIL DEEDS ARE REVEALED IN THE HEAVENS, and that NONE OF YOUR DEEDS OF OPPRESSION ARE COVERED AND HIDDEN. And do not think in your spirit nor say in your heart that you do not know and that you do not see that every sin is recorded in heaven in the presence of the Most High daily. From now on you know that all your oppression with which you oppress is written down every day until the day of your judgment.”

Enoch 104:7

“And although you sinners say, “ALL OUR SINS SHALL NOT BE SEARCHED OUT AND BE WRITTEN DOWN,” nevertheless they shall write down ALL YOUR SINS EVERY DAY. And now I show to you that light and darkness, day and night, SEE ALL YOUR SINS.”

The fact that Enoch states that light and darkness, day and night see all of your sins reminds me of:

Deuteronomy 30:19

“I have called the heavens and the earth as witnesses today against you: I have put before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore you shall choose life, so that you live, both you and your seed…”

Psalms 139:1-16

“O YAHWEH, You have searched me and know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar. You spread my path and my lying down, and know well ALL MY WAYS. For there is not a word on my tongue, but see, O YAHWEH, YOU KNOW IT ALL! You have closed me in, behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. Knowledge too wondrous for me, It is high, I cannot fathom. Where would I go from Your Spirit? Or WHERE WOULD I FLEE FROM YOUR FACE? If I go up into the heavens, YOU ARE THERE; If I make my bed in the grave, see, YOU ARE THERE. I take the wings of the morning, I dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, there too, Your hand would lead me, and Your right hand hold me, If I say, “Darkness shall cover me,” then night would be light to me; even darkness is NOT DARK FOR YOU, but night shines as the day.” As is darkness, so is light. For You, You possessed my kidneys, You have covered me in my mother’s womb. I give thanks to You, For I am awesomely and wondrously made! Wondrous are Your works, and my being knows it well. My bones WERE NOT CONCEALED FROM YOU, when I was shaped in a hidden place, knit together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my uniformed body…”

Jeremiah 1:5

“Before I formed you in the womb I KNEW YOU, and before you came out of the womb I sanctified you- I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Luke 11:39-40

“And the Master said to him, “Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is filled with greed and wickedness. Mindless ones! Did not He who made the outside make the inside also?”

Proverbs 5:21

“For the ways of man are before the eyes of YAHWEH, and He considers all his paths.”

Proverbs 15:3

“The eyes of YAHWEH are in EVERY PLACE, watching the evil and the good.”

Wisdom 1:7

“For the Spirit of YAHWEH fills the world, and that which sustains all knows what is said, there he who speaks unrighteous words is NOT HIDDEN.”

Ecclesiastes 12:14

“For ELOHIM shall bring every work into right-ruling, including all that is hidden, whether good or whether evil.”

2 Maccabees 7:34

“But you, O wicked man, and of all others most evil, do not be lifted up without a cause nor puffed up with uncertain expectancies, lifting up you hand against the servants of ELOHIM; for you have not escaped the judgement of EL SHADDAI, WHO SEES ALL.”

2 Maccabees 12:22

“But when Judah’s first division came into sight, the enemies fled, being smitten with fear and terror with the appearance of He WHO SEES ALL THINGS (YAHWEH); one running this way, another that way so that many of them were injured by their own men, and wounded with the points of their own swords.”

2 Esdras 15:26

“For YAHWEH knows all those who sin against Him, therefore He gives them over to death and destruction.”

2 Esdras 16:53-66

“Let not the sinner say that he has not sinned; for ELOHIM shall burn coals of fire upon his head, who says before YAHWEH ELOHIM and his esteem, “I have not sinned.” See, YAHWEH knows ALL THE WORKS OF MAN, their schemes, their thoughts, and their hearts; who spoke but the word, “Let the earth be made.” And it was made; “Let the heavens be made,” and it was created. By His word the stars were made, and He knows the number of them. He searches the deep, and its treasures; He has measured the sea, and what it contains. He has shut the sea in the midst of the waters, and with His word He has suspended the earth upon the waters. He spreads out the heavens like a span; He has founded it upon the waters. He has made springs of water in the desert, and pools upon the tops of the mountains, that the floods might pour down from the high rocks to water the earth. He made man, and put his heart in the midst of the body, and gave him breath, life, and understanding, and indeed the Spirit of EL SHADDAI; who made all and searches out ALL THAT IS HIDDEN IN THE SECRET PLACES of the earth. Surely He knows your plans, and the thoughts of your hearts, even those who sin, and want to HIDE THEIR SIN. Therefore YAHWEH searches out all your works exactly, and he shall put you all to shame. And when your sins are produced, you shall be ashamed before all, and your own sins shall be your accusers in that Day. What shall you do, or HOW SHALL YOU HIDE YOUR SINS BEFORE ELOHIM and His messengers?”

As all of the witnesses in Scripture testify; there is no hiding your sins no matter what you do because He is there. Therefore, its time to repent of these sins, turn away from your sins, and give your life completely to YESHUA and let the RUACH HA’KODESH guide you, because YAHWEH sees it all.

These rewards await you! Do not give up!

I felt it was necessary to do a message to give hope to anyone who is struggling with their faith, anyone who feels like they do not have the strength to go on, or anyone that has fallen away, so it is my prayer that this message encourages and strengthens you to keep fighting and not give up. The rewards for those who endure to the end will be well worth whatever hardship you are facing now. YESHUA said this road would not be easy as He stated in Mathew 7:14 “Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Being led by The RUACH HA’KODESH and clinging to YESHUA we are able to overcome this world; as we lose our lives in this world to gain it in the world to come.

Store up your treasure in heaven and not on earth!

Mathew 6:19

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in the heavens, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.”

2 Esdras 7:77

“For you have a treasure of work stored up with the Most High, but it shall not be shown to you till the last days.”

This is exactly why YESHUA said to store up your treasures in heaven and not on earth, because we see the example here of Ezra who has a treasure of works stored up with ELOHIM in the heavens and all of those treasures will be revealed to him in the last days. This is encouraging to see, and ties in to what Paul wrote in Galatians telling us to keep doing good.

Galatians 6:9

“And we should not grow weary in well-doing. For in due time, we will reap a harvest, NOT GIVING UP.”

What better harvest can there be than living eternally with the King? If we do not give up and continue to serve our ELOHIM, then we will continue to store up the treasures where it really matters and only ELOHIM knows what those treasures for us will be.

Luke 12:16-21

“He (YESHUA) spoke a parable to them, saying, “The land of a certain rich man yielded well. And he was reasoning within himself, saying, “What shall I do, because I have no room to store my crops? And he said, I am going to do this: pull down my storehouses and build greater, and store all my crops and my good there, then say to myself, “Life, you have many goods laid up for many years, take your ease, eat, drink, rejoice.” But ELOHIM said to him, “You mindless one! This night your life shall be demanded from you. And who shall own what you have prepared? So, he who is storing up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward ELOHIM.”

Having your heart set on the things of this world instead of what is in the heavens will not end well as we from the parable that YESHUA spoke; and Sirach matches these verses perfectly.

Sirach 5:1-3

“Do not lay your heart upon your goods; and do not say, “I have enough for my life.” Do not follow your own mind and strength, to walk in the ways of your heart; and do not say, “Who shall control me in my deeds?” For YAHWEH shall surely punish your pride.”

Sirach 11:18-19

“There is he who grows wealthy by his cunning and frugality, and this is the portion of his reward: For he says, “I have found rest, and now shall eat continually of my goods.” And yet he does not know what even shall come upon him, and that he must leave those to others, and die.”

John 6:27

“Do not labor for the food that is perishing, but for the food that is remaining to everlasting life, which the Son of Man shall give you, for the Father, ELOHIM, has put His seal on Him.”

Colossians 3:1-4

“If, then you were raised with Messiah, seek those which are above, where Messiah is, seated at the right hand of YAHWEH. Mind those above, not those on the earth. For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Messiah in ELOHIM. When HA’MASHIACH, who is our life, is manifested, then you also shall be manifested with Him in esteem.”

Wisdom 2:22

“As for the secrets of ELOHIM, they did not know them; neither did they expect the wages of righteousness, nor discern a reward for blameless lives. For ELOHIM created man to be immortal, and made him to be an image of His own immortality.”

Wisdom 5:15-16

“But the righteous live forever; even so, their reward is with YAHWEH, and the Most High looks after them.”

Tobiyah 4:21

“And do not fear, my son, that we are made poor, for you have much wealth if you revere ELOHIM and depart from all sin, and do that which is pleasing in His sight.”

I believe that Paul summed it all up about what to expect in the world to come when he said in:

1 Corinthians 2:9

“But as it has been written, “Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, nor have entered into the heart of man what ELOHIM has prepared for those who love Him.”

This statement should have us all excited to continue to press forward, because The Creator of the heavens and the earth has plans that we cannot even fathom prepared for those who love Him. So, we are going to look at scriptures to try to take a glance at what this looks like although we know it will be a trillion times more awesome then our minds can comprehend.

Mansions

John 14:1-3

“Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in YAHWEH, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many MANSIONS. And if not, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I shall come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you might be too.”

Enoch 41:1-2

“And after that I saw all the secrets of the heavens, and how the kingdom is divided, and how the actions of men are weighed in the balance. And there I saw the MANSIONS of the elect and the MANSIONS of the holy, and my eyes saw there all the sinners being driven from there; those who deny the Name of the Master of Spirits, and they were being dragged off. And they could not stay because of the punishment which proceeds from the Master of Spirits.”

Ezra speaks of rewards for overcomers!

2 Esdras 7:88-101

“And this is the order of those who have guarded the Ways of the Most High, when they are separated from their mortal body: During the time that they lived in it, they labored to serve the Most High, and withstood danger every hour so they might guard the Law of the Lawgiver perfectly. Therefore this is the teaching concerning them: Firstly, they shall see the great joy the esteem of He who receives him, for they shall have rest in seven orders.”

 Just think about the Creator of heaven and earth being joyful to receive the one who endures this life! Just the thought of YAHWEH and YESHUA receiving us with joy is a reward within itself, this should make you want to strive to see His face!

1.      The first order, because they strove with great effort to overcome the wicked thought that was formed with them, so that it might not lead them astray from life unto death.

2.     The second order, because they see the confusion in which the beings of the unrighteous wander and the punishment that awaits them.

3.     The third order, they see the witness that He who formed them bears concerning them, that through-out their life they GUARDED THE LAW with which they were entrusted.
The word entrust means to assign the responsibility for doing something or to put something into someone’s care or protection. This is truly beautiful that our Father YAHWEH gave us the Torah to protect and serve it. An example of this is found in Exodus 31:14 “And you shall GUARD the Shabbat, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people.” As we see ELOHIM has given us the Shabbat found in the Torah to guard it, He has assigned to us the responsibility to protect it, which is why He says they stood in danger every hour so that they would guard the Law of the Law Giver perfectly. We will guard and protect the Shabbat regardless of any laws to ban Shabbat worship. The Creator has placed eternal life in our midst and left it in our care; and by guarding it, we will be rewarded for it.

4.     The fourth order, they know the rest that they now enjoy, being gathered into their rooms and guarded by messengers (angels) in deep rest, and the esteem waiting for them in the last days.

Not only will we enter a deep rest, but we will also get to see and know what awaits us in paradise as we wait for the end to come.

5.     The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible and shall inherit what is to come; and they also see the difficulty and toil from which they have been delivered, and the SPACIOUS FREEDOM that they are to receive and enjoy in immortality.

We will escape all that is corruptible and inherit what is to come, which means we have to put on incorruptibility as Paul says:

1 Corinthians 15:50-54
“And this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood is unable to inherit the reign of ELOHIM, neither does corruption inherit incorruption. See, I speak a secret to you: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed. For this corruptible has to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality. And when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming.”

We will also see the difficulties and toils we have been delivered from, everything from feeling alone, being hated by the world and family, not having enough money, whatever the case may be, we will look back on it and breath a sigh of relief. And the mention of enjoying spacious freedom in eternity speaks for itself even though the human mind cannot comprehend what that looks like.

6.     The sixth order, when it is shown them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from them on.

Mathew 13:43
“Then the righteous shall sine forth as the sun in the reign of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

Wisdom 3:7
“And in the time of their visitation they shall shine, and run to and fro like sparks among the stubble.”

7.      The seventh order, which is greater than all that have been spoken, for they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they press to see the face of He whom they served in life and from Whom they are to receive their reward when esteemed.

Seeing the face of our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA is truly beautiful reward within itself. Those who saw YESHUA when He walked the earth got to see Him, but those who did not will get to see His face. And another part to this is that no one has ever seen the face of YAHWEH at ANYTIME, yet those who overcome will get to see Him.

John 1:18
“No one has ever seen YAHWEH. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He declared.”

John 6:46
“Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from ELOHIM-He has seen The Father.”

1 John 4:12
“No one has seen YAHWEH at anytime…”

Exodus 33:20
“But He (YAHWEH) said, “You are UNABLE to see My face, for no man sees Me and lives.”

This is the order of the beings of the righteous, which from now on is announced; and the previously spoken are the ways of TORTURE that those who would not pay heed shall suffer from now on.” Then I answered and said, “Shall there be time given to the beings after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me? And He said to me, “They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see that of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered into their dwellings.

The rewards mentioned in Revelation

These rewards are for all believers not just a certain group of people, it is an overview of what is to come for those who overcome.

Revelation 21:6-7

“And He said to me, “It is done!” I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment. The one who OVERCOMES shall inherit all this, and I shall be his ELOHIM and he shall be My son.”

Tree of Life

Revelation 2:7

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who OVERCOMES I shall give to eat from the TREE OF LIFE, which is in the midst of the Paradise of ELOHIM.”

Revelation 22:14

“Blessed are those doing His Commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the TREE OF LIFE, and to enter through the gates into the city.”

The tree of life means that all things will be restored back to the perfection that our ELOHIM intended from the beginning. This is the same tree of life that was in the Garden of Eden and we will get to eat from it.

Genesis 2:9

“And out of the ground YAHWEH ELOHIM made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, with the TREE OF LIFE in the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”

Enoch 24:4-6

“And among them was a tree such as I had never yet smelled, neither was any among them nor were others like it: it had a fragrance beyond all fragrance, and its leaves and blooms and wood do not wither forever. And its fruit is beautiful, and its fruit resembles the dates of a palm.” Then I said, “How beautiful is this tree, and how fragrant, and its leaves are fair, and its blooms very delightful in appearance.” Then Michael their leader, one of the holy and honored messengers (angels) who was with me, answered.”

Enoch 25:1-7

“And he said to me, “Enoch, why do you ask me regarding the fragrance of the tree, and why do you desire to learn the truth?” Then I answered him saying, “I desire to know about everything, but especially about this tree.” And he answered saying, “This high mountain which you have seen, whose summit is like the throne of the Master, is His throne, where the Holy Great One, the Master of Esteem, the Eternal King, will sit, when He shall come down to visit the earth with goodness. And as for this fragrant tree no mortal is permitted to touch it until the great judgment, when He shall take vengeance on all and bring everything to its consummation forever. It shall then be given to the righteous and holy. Its fruit shall be for food to the elect: it shall be transplanted to the holy place, to the Temple of the Master, the Eternal King. Then shall they rejoice with joy and be glad, and they will enter into the holy place. And its fragrance shall be in their bones, and they will live a long life on earth, such as you ancestors lived. And in their days shall no sorrow or plague or torment or calamity touch them. Then I blessed the Master of Esteem, the Eternal King, who has prepared such things for the righteous, and has created them and promised to give to them.”

Revelation 22:1-2

“And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of YAHWEH and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the TREE OF LIFE, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding is fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

Crown of Life

Revelation 2:10-11

“Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. See, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, in order to try you, and you shall have pressure ten days. Be trustworthy until death, and I shall give you the CROWN OF LIFE. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who OVERCOMES shall by no means be harmed by the second death.”

James 1:12

“Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has been proved, he shall receive the CROWN OF LIFE which the Master has promised to those who love Him.”

2 Timothy 4:7-8

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have guarded the belief. For the rest, there is laid up for me the CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the Master, the righteous Judge, shall give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all those loving His appearing.”

No second death

Revelation 20:6

“Blessed and holy is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death posses no authority over these, but they shall be priests of YAHWEH and Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.” Verse 13-15 “And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and the grave gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. And the death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”

Revelation 21:8

“But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and Sulphur, which is the second death.”

Hidden manna and renewed Name

Revelation 2:17

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who OVERCOMES I shall give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I shall give him a white stone, and on the stone a renewed Name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”

We will be given the hidden manna which is the bread of the messengers (angels), so it is bread similar to earthly bread but not exactly the same, because this bread came from heaven; and we know what it looks and tastes like based off of scripture.

Exodus 16:13-15

“And it came to be that quails came up at evening and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp. And the layer of dew went up, and see, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as frost on the ground. And the children of Yisra’el saw, and they said to each other, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “It is the bread which YAHWEH has given you to eat.”

Wisdom 19:21-22

“On the contrary, the flames did not destroy the flesh of the corruptible living matters, though they walked in them; neither melted the frosty food from the heavens that would naturally melt.”

 Exodus 16:31  

“And the house of Yisra’el called its name Manna. And it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like thin cakes made with honey.”

Numbers 11:7-8

“Now the manna was like coriander seed, and its appearance of bdellium. The people went about and gathered it, ground it on millstones or beat it in the mortar, and cooked it in a pot, and made cakes of it. And its taste was as the taste of cakes baked with oil.”

As we see YAHWEH provided manna which tasted like cakes with honey mixed with oil; and had the appearance of bdellium which is a semi-transparent oleo-gum resin similar to myrrh obtained from various trees.

Genesis 2:11-12

“The name of the first is Pishon, it is the one surrounding the entire land of Havilah where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium is there, and the shoham stone.”

As we can see that was not ordinary bread, it was bread from the heavens for the children of Yisra’el to eat and they said “What is it?” The Hebrew word for manna used is “man” #H4478 which is bread that came from heaven that fed the Israelites for 40 years in the wilderness and also means “What is it?”

Manna the bread of messengers

Wisdom 16:20

“Instead you fed your own people with FOOD OF MESSENGERS (angels), and sent them bread from the heavens prepared without their labor, able to content every delight, and pleasant to every taste. For your sustenance revealed Your sweetness toward your children, and serving to the appetite of the eater, rendered itself to every man’s liking.”

This scripture correlates with the description and the taste of the manna as described in the previous section as it was able to content every delight and pleasant to every taste. But also notice how Solomon says the children of Yisra’el sent them food “prepared without their labor”? It makes me think of when a messenger (angel) prepared a cake for Elijah without Elijah having to do anything. In a way, it shows that messengers know how to make cakes because they eat manna, and we will get to eat the bread of heaven.

1 Kings 19:5-6

“And he (Elijah) lay and slept under a broom tree, and see, a messenger touched him, and said to him, “Rise, eat.” And he looked and saw by his head a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and turned and lay down.”

2 Esdras 1:15-19

“Thus says YAHWEH the Almighty, “The quails were as a sign to you; I gave you booths for your safety; still you grumbled there, and did not overcome in My Name for the destruction of your enemies, but even to this day you still grumble. Where is the good that I have done for you? When you were hungry and thirsty in the wilderness, did you not cry out to Me, saying, “Why have You brought us into this wilderness to kill us? It would have been better for us to have served the Egyptians, than to die in this wilderness! Then I took pity on your groaning, and gave you MANNA to eat; so you ate the BREAD OF MESSENGERS.”

Psalms 78:23-25

“Yet He had commanded the clouds above, and opened the doors of the heavens, and He rained down manna on them to eat, and He gave them the GRAIN OF THE HEAVENS. Men ate bread OF THE MIGHTY; he sent them provisions to satisfaction “

John 6:31-32

“Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, as it has been written, ‘He gave them bread out of the heavens to eat.’ Therefore YESHUA said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread out of the heavens, but My Father gives you the true bread out of the heavens.”

Luke 14:15

“And when one of those who sat at the table with Him heard this, he said to Him, “Blessed is he who eats bread in the reign of ELOHIM.”

Renewed name

A new name is to given for honor and to establish a new identity, because we will be made new in our incorruptible bodies becoming eternal citizens of His kingdom.  ELOHIM changed the names of Abraham, Sarah, and Jacob when they were about to take on the identity that YAHWEH called for them to be, just as He will do for us:

Abram which means “father most high” to Abraham which means “father of a great multitude” because in Genesis 12:1-3 YAHWEH says to him “And YAHWEH said to Abram, “Go yourself out of your land, from your relatives and from your father’s house, to a land which I show you. And I shall make you a great nation, and bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing! And I shall bless those who bless you, and curse him who curses you. And in you all the clans of the earth shall be blessed.” All the clans of the earth would be blessed through him making his name fitting because he became the “father of a great multitude”.

Sarai means “my princess, my lady” and Sarah means “princess, noblewoman; queen.” Genesis 17:15-16 “As for Sarai your wife, do not call her name Sarai, for Sarah is her name. And I shall bless her and also give you a son by her. And I shall bless her, and she shall become nations-kings of peoples are to be from her.”

And Jacob means “heel holder, supplanter” because he was holding on to the heel of Esau when he was born, but became Yisra’el which means “Overcoming with El”. Genesis 32:27-28 “So He asked him, “What is your name? And he said, Jacob.” And He said “Your name is no longer called Jacob, but Yisra’el, because you have striven with ELOHIM and with men, and have Overcome.”

So when ELOHIM changes your name we see it has a purpose for the better and we too will get to experience Him changing our names to enter into His Kingdom.

Authority over nations and the morning star

Revelation 2:26-29

“And he who OVERCOMES, and guards My works until the end, to him I shall give authority over the nations, and he shall shepherd them with a rod of iron, as the potter’s vessels shall be broken to pieces, as I also have received from My Father. And I shall give him the morning star. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”

This means we will be given absolute power and authority from ELOHIM shepherd, judge, and rule the nations.

Revelation 5:9-10

“And they sang a renewed song, saying, “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slain, and have redeemed us to YAHWEH by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and made us kings and priests to our ELOHIM, and we shall reign upon the earth.”

Wisdom 3:6-9

“He has tried them as gold in the furnace, and received them as a burnt offering. And in the time of their visitation they shall shine, and run to and fro like sparks among the stubble. They shall judge the nations, and reign over the people, and their Master shall reign forever. Those that put their trust in Him shall understand the truth; and those who are trustworthy in love shall abide in Him; for favor and kindness is upon His saints, and He looks after His elect.”

Daniel 7:27

“And the reign, and the rulership, and the greatness of the reigns under all the heavens, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His reign is an everlasting reign, and all rulership’s shall serve and obey Him.”

Morning star

Revelation 22:16

“I, YESHUA, have sent My messenger to witness these to you in the assemblies. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

And as we saw in Revelation 2:28 YESHUA says that “I shall give him the morning star.”

So for those who overcome, YESHUA will share His rulership and rights to throne with us, the morning star represents esteem; and that the one who overcomes will shine brightly and their future will be esteemed, because YESHUA will be sharing it all with us. This is truly beautiful!

White robes and confessing our names before YAHWEH

Revelation 3:5-6

“He who OVERCOMES shall be dressed in white robes, and I shall by no means blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I shall CONFESS his name before My Father and before His messengers.”

The white robes is a representation of the righteousness of the saints as we read in:

Revelation 19:7-8

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him praise, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife prepared herself.” And to her it was given to be dressed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.”

Then YESHUA says that He will not blot us out the Book of Life and will confess our names before the Father and before the messengers.

Mathew 10:32-33

“Everyone, therefore, who shall CONFESS Me before men, him I shall also CONFESS before My Father who is in the heavens. But whoever shall deny Me before men, him I shall also deny before My Father who is in the heavens.”

2 Esdras 2:42-47

“I Ezra saw upon Mount Zion a great people whom I could not number, and they all praised YAHWEH with songs. And in the midst of them there was a young Man of tall stature-taller than all the rest; and upon every one of their heads He placed crowns, and was more exalted; at which I marveled at greatly. So I asked the messenger, and said, “master, who are these?” He answered and said to me, “These are those who have put off the mortal garments, and put on the immortal, and have CONFESSED the Name of ELOHIM; and now they are crowned, and receive palms. Then I said to the messenger, “What young Man is this who crowns them, and give them palms in their hands?” So he answered and said to me, “It is the Son of ELOHIM, whom they have CONFESSED in the world.” Then I began to greatly commend those who stood so steadfastly for the Name of YAHWEH.”

It is a good thing to confess the Name of YAHWEH and YESHUA to all men while on earth and not be ashamed of Him, and we see the reward is great for doing so.

The Name of YAHWEH and name of city written on us

Revelation 3:12-13

“He who OVERCOMES, I shall make him a supporting post in the Tabernacle of My ELOHIM, and he shall by no means go out. And I shall write on him the Name of My ELOHIM and the name of the city of My ELOHIM, the renewed Jerusalem, which comes down out of the heavens from My ELOHIM, and My renewed Name.”

We will be a supporting post in the Tabernacle of ELOHIM and shall by no means go out. A supporting post or a pillar is a column to prop or support something, which means you are a part of the foundation and will not be moved out of the Kingdom of ELOHIM. By YESHUA writing on us the Name of YAHWEH, His renewed Name, and the city of the renewed Jerusalem means that has given us citizenship to enter into His Kingdom the Holy City when all things are created new.

Revelation 21:27

“And there shall by no means enter into it whatever is unclean, neither anyone doing abomination and falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”

Revelation 19:12

“And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having a Name that had been written, which no one had perceived except Himself.”

And this new Name will be written on those who overcome, so we will know it.

Sitting on the throne

Revelation 3:21

“To him who OVERCOMES I shall give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”

Enoch 108:11-15

“And now I will summon the spirits of the good who belong to the generation of light, and I will transform those who were born in darkness, who in the flesh were not repaid with such honor as their faith deserved. And I will bring forth in shining light those who have loved My Holy Name, and I will seat each on the THRONE OF HIS HONOR. And they shall be magnificent for times without number; for righteousness is the judgement of ELOHIM. For He will give faith to the faithful in the habitation of upright paths. And they shall see those who were born in darkness led into darkness, while the righteous shall be magnificent. And the sinners shall cry aloud and see them magnificent, and they indeed will go where days and seasons are prescribed for them.”

It is my prayer that this message strengthens and encourages you to continue to serve YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA until the end and not give up. The road is not easy, but we see the reward waiting for those who OVERCOME is more than worth it. So, whenever you feel like you cannot press on remember these promised rewards and know that our ELOHIM will never forsake you.

Surah 5:68 - A message for ALL Muslims

Firstly, I come in peace and love, only to share a message of truth because I deeply care for all man-kind. If I do not tell the truth then that means I do not love you because that would mean I am withholding truth, and hard truth is not easily accepted. Please listen to this entire message before turning it off and weigh the evidence of what is presented.

 YESHUA whom you call Isa loves you and wants you to come to Him so that He can save you, because He died on the stake for us all including Muslims. We will be discussing Surah 5:68 and 10:94 in the Quran and how it points to the Bible by referencing the Torah and the Injil/Injeel (Gospels), YESHUA is The Torah made flesh and is more than a prophet, what al-Masih means in Arabic, YESHUA has power to forgive sins because He is ELOHIM, YESHUA answers prayers, The Oneness unity of ELOHIM, and Ishmael is not the covenant son.

Firstly, I would like to say when you hear me say YAHWEH that is the Name of The Father, when you hear me say YESHUA that is His Son whom you know as Isa, and ELOHIM the proper title for what the world knows as God.

YESHUA can forgive sins

YESHUA possesses the power to forgive sins and the beautiful thing is this, think of the worst thing you have done in your life or something so shameful that you would never tell anyone else. YESHUA came and died for those sins and wiped the slate clean and remembers them no more! This is true love and He wants you to accept this free gift and give your life to Him, what a beautiful gift from The Father YAHWEH, this is something Islam cannot offer because they believe He is just a man/prophet.

Who has power to forgive sins? Everyone including Muslims agree that only ELOHIM alone has the power to forgive sins, so if YESHUA was not ELOHIM then how was He able to forgive sins? Proving He forgave sins would mean that He is more than a man and more than a prophet. So what does the gospels (injil) have to say about this?

Mathew 9:1-6

“And entering into a boat, He passed over, and came to His own city. And see, they were brining to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. And YESHUA, seeing their belief, said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son, your sins have been forgiven.” And see, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This One blasphemes!” And YESHUA, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think wickedness in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins have been forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? But in order for you to know that the Son of Man possesses authority on earth to forgive sins…”He then said to the paralytic, “Rise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

Luke 7:46-50

“You did not anoint My head with oil, but she anointed My feet with perfume. Therefore I say to you, her many sins have been forgiven, because she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, he loves little. And He said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven.” And those who were sitting at the table with Him began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins? And He (YESHUA) said to the woman, “Your belief has saved you. Go in peace.”

So, as we can see the Pharisees around YESHUA were baffled because they believed that YESHUA was only a man, so how can He forgive sins? That is because He is ELOHIM in the flesh and had the power to forgive sins.

So now let us go back into the Torah to see Another forgive sins other than The Father YAHWEH! And as we see from the example from the gospels above is that it can only be YESHUA forgiving sins in this passage.

Exodus 23:20-21

“See, I am sending a Messenger before you to guard you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Be on guard before Him and obey His voice. Do not rebel against Him, for He is not going to pardon your transgression (an act that goes against a law, rule or code of conduct), for My Name is in Him.”

John 17:1-3

“YESHUA said these, and lifted up His eyes to the heavens, and said, “Father, the hour has come. Esteem Your Son, so that Your Son also might esteem You, as You have given Him AUTHORITY OVER ALL FLESH, that He should give everlasting life to all whom You have given Him. And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true ELOHIM, and YESHUA Mashiach whom You have sent.”

YESHUA has authority over ALL people, not some people, and we also see that everlasting life requires to believe in YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA! It was important that I mention this first because YESHUA is found in the Torah and Gospels which is mentioned in the Quran in Surah 5:68.

Surah 5:68 pointing to the Bible

Contained within the pages of the Quran is Surah 5:68 which points to the Bible and I will break down this passage and pray that some eyes will be opened.

Surah 5:68 says

“You people of the Book (Israelites) have no ground to stand on until you observe the TORAH AND GOSPELS and what is revealed to you from the Lord (Reference to YAHWEH).”

Firstly, this statement is true because my message has always been for followers of YESHUA to keep the commandments and believe in YESHUA as recorded in Revelation 12:17 and Revelation 14:12. So every believer in YESHUA has no ground to stand on unless you have faith and works by keeping the commandments of the Torah and faith in YESHUA! But notice how Allah is verifying this fact and not denying it? By doing so he agrees that YESHUA is Son of YAHWEH, The Messiah (al-Masih), and that the Bible is the truth and must be obeyed according to the criteria that YESHUA Himself tells His followers to do.

John 14:21

“He who possesses My Commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and manifest Myself to him.” Verse 24 “He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but the Father who sent Me.”

This is critical because the Quran itself is pointing to the authenticity of The Bible by pointing to it as truth. Notice, how Allah says “You people of the Book” in doing so he is acknowledging that the Israelites/Jews are the chosen people of The Book and have the truth contained within The Torah and Gospels (Injil). If the Quran was the final revelation given to Muhammad, then why is this final revelation pointing back to the Bible? The Torah is the first five Books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) and YESHUA whom you know as Isa IS THE LIVING TORAH MADE FLESH, this should be an eye opener.

Think of it this way, even in the Torah the Israelites had to make animal sacrifices for the forgiveness of sins so the sinner was forgiven by the blood of an innocent animal. This was a foreshadow of what would happen with YESHUA His Son. YAHWEH was teaching His people that when you sin that innocent blood has to be shed for the sinner which is why He sent His Son YESHUA who was sinless yet became sin for us to bear the wrath of all of our sins. Now today, there is not Temple and there are no Levites because YESHUA is now our High Priest. So without a Temple we could not slaughter for sins even if we wanted, because YESHUA is the sacrificial Lamb for all man-kind. So the question is who is atoning for your sins today? The only One that can give you this gift if YESHUA!

So being that the Quran points to the Bible as the truth and that the Israelites are the chosen people of the Book (The Bible) and says to observe the Torah and Gospels. The beautiful part is that the written Torah is YESHUA made flesh Who is the Living Torah and He said so out of His own mouth:

John 14:6

“YESHUA said to him, I am the WAY, and the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Psalms 119:1

“Blessed are the perfect in THE WAY, who walk in the TORAH of YAHWEH!”

Psalms 119:142

“Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and Your TORAH IS TRUTH.”

Proverbs 13:14

“The TORAH of the wise is a fountain of LIFE.”

Notice how The Way, The Truth, and the Life all point back to the Torah? When YESHUA spoke these words He was summing up what He is, the word!

Psalms 40:7

“Then I said, See, I come in the scroll (volume) of the Book it is written concerning Me.”

YESHUA is speaking well before He became flesh and said that He comes in the scroll (the animal skin, papyrus, or leather the Torah was written on) was concerning Him. This ties in exactly to what YESHUA said in:

Luke 24:44

“And He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all have to be filled that were written in the Torah of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms (Zabur in Arabic) concerning ME.” Which matches perfectly with Psalms 40:7 quoted above.

John 5:39

“You search the Scriptures, because you think you possess everlasting life in them. And these are the ones that bear witness of Me.”

YESHUA’s Name literally means “YAHWEH is Salvation”, why? Because The Father YAHWEH sent His only begotten Son into the world to die for each of us for forgiveness of sins.

Surah 10:94

“If you are in doubt of anything revealed in the Quran then ask the people of the Book.” Some translations say “Then ask those who have been reading the Book or Scriptures before you.”

Firstly, this passage would not make sense by saying “Read the Quran which was before the Quran.” This passage is referring to another Book and that Book is the Bible which is also known as The Scriptures as some versions of the Quran read. So why would he tell you to ask us for the truth if we do not have the truth to begin with? The people of the book (Israelite/Jews and those grafted in) can tell you who YESHUA is and what the Gospels (Injil) means for your salvation and the importance of keeping the Torah. So he is pointing you to the authentic Word of ELOHIM that is found in the Bible and we know the Bible tells us how to be saved, so this is amazing. And the part about “Then ask those who have been reading the Scriptures before you,” proves that the Bible came first.

 The Gospels are contained within the Bible (Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John) which is announcing The Good News of YESHUA, that He died for our sins and rose on the third day. YESHUA is waiting to receive you into His loving arms, all you have to do is accept that He is The Son of YAHWEH the promised Messiah (al-Masih), and That He died for you for forgiveness of sins. One thing I would like to say is there is nothing stopping you from getting on your knees and praying and asking YESHUA if He is the Son of YAHWEH! You have nothing to lose, but everything to gain.

 Notice, how Allah does not make any mention of the Bible being corrupt, or it not being the truth, or any falsehoods found within the Torah and Gospels? Also, he is saying to observe all that was sent down by ELOHIM, which means the entire Bible is the truth and contains the way to eternal life, and that is through YESHUA, and nobody comes to the Father except through Him alone.

So to put this in perspective, if a Christian were to leave their faith and convert to Islam, and they start reading the Quran and come across Surah 5:68? They would then realize that Allah is telling them to go back to the truth that they just left that was found in the pages of the Bible which contains the Torah and The Gospels and obey it.

 Muslims I plea with you to accept this truth because you simply do not know your identity the same way most Christians do not know their identity.  What I mean by this is that we are all called to be a citizens of Yisra’el, one faith, grafted in with the native-born Israelites worshipping YAHWEH in spirit and truth, through His son YESHUA and keeping the commandments of the Torah.

YESHUA answers prayers

We already know that no human being can answer prayers, but only ELOHIM  can, so look at the words of YESHUA in the gospel of John.

John 14:13-14

“And whatever you ask in My Name, that I shall do, in order that the Father might be esteemed in the Son. If you ask whatever in My Name, I shall do it.”

This is the reason why we close our prayers saying in YESHUA’s Name, because He goes to the Father and the Father is esteemed through the Son. This is truly beautiful and no human can do this.

YESHUA is ELOHIM

John 20:27-28

“Then He (YESHUA) said to Thomas, “Bring your finger here, and see My hands.  And bring your hands and put it into My side-and do not be unbelieving, but believing.” And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Master and My ELOHIM!”

Notice that YESHUA did not rebuke Thomas for what He said, but rather commended Him for it? Then He says blessed are those who believe and have not seen. Thomas got to see YESHUA as ELOHIM in flesh and believed, how much more for those who did not see this first hand?

Now let us look at examples of how no one has ever seen The Father!

Genesis 32:24-30

“And Jacob was left alone. And a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. And when He saw that He did not overcome him, He touched the socket of Jacob’s hip. And the socket of Jacob’s hip was dislocated and he wrestled with Him. And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I am not letting You go until You have blessed me!” So He asked him. “What is your name? And he said, Jacob.” And He said, “Your name is no longer called Jacob, but Yisra’el, because you have striven with ELOHIM and with men, and have overcome. And Jacob asked Him, saying, “Please let me know Your Name.” And He said, “Why do you ask about My Name? And He blessed him there.” And Jacob called the name of the Place Peni’el, “For I have seen ELOHIM FACE TO FACE, AND MY LIFE IS PRESERVED.”

Exodus 33:17-23

“And YAHWEH said to Moses, “Even this word you have spoken I shall do, for you have found favor in My eyes, and I know you by name.” Then he said, “Please show me Your esteem.” And He said, “I shall cause all My goodness to pass before you, and I shall proclaim the Name of YAHWEH before you. And I shall favor him whom I favor, and shall have compassion on him whom I have compassion.” But He said, “YOU ARE UNABLE TO SEE MY FACE, FOR NO MAN SEES ME AND LIVES.” And YAHWEH said, “See, there is a place with Me! and you shall stand on the rock. And it shall be, while My esteem passes by, that I shall put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand while I pass by. Then I shall take away My hand and you shall see My BACK, but My FACE SHALL NOT BE SEEN.”

Here is clear evidence from YAHWEH The Father that NO MAN can see His face and live! So if no one has ever seen the Father and lived, then who did Jacob see when He saw ELOHIM, but yet lived? This means that Jacob saw YESHUA The Son! So we have to understand this concept before we go on any further because YESHUA and disciple John both agree that this is true.

John 5:37

“And the Father who sent Me, He bore witness of Me. You have neither HEARD HIS VOICE AT ANY TIME, NOR SEEN HIS FORM.”

John 6:46

“Not that ANYONE has seen the Father, except HE (YESHUA) who is from ELOHIM, HE (YESHUA) has seen the Father.”

1 John 4:12

“NO ONE has seen YAHWEH (The Father) AT ANY TIME…”

John 8:56-58 YESHUA says:

“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and you have seen Abraham? YESHUA said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.”

Exodus 3:14 says:

“And ELOHIM said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”

If Abraham existed before Moses , then we know it is YESHUA speaking to Moses on the mountain. Let’s examine the burning bush account and compare it to an account with Joshua.

Exodus 3:2-5

“And the Messenger of YAHWEH appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. And he looked and saw the bush burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, “Let me turn aside now, and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” And YAHWEH saw that he turned aside to see, and ELOHIM called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses! Moses! And he said, “Here I am.” And He said, Do not come near here. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”

Joshua 5:13-14 it says:

“And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Are you for us, or for our adversaries? And he said “Nay; but as captain of the host of YAHWEH am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship and said unto him, what saith my Master unto his servant?”

Notice Joshua bowed down to the earth and worshiped because Joshua knew that He was talking to a powerful being. It was YESHUA pre-incarnate again who came to deliver a message to Joshua. Joshua also calls this Captain, Adonai (My Master) and Joshua knew that he was just a servant. Then in verse 15, YESHUA tells Joshua the same thing that was told to Moses at the burning bush, Joshua 5:15 says:

“And the captain of YAHWEH’s host said unto Joshua, loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place where you stand is holy. And Joshua did so.”

This is more evidence that YESHUA was here from the very beginning and is ELOHIM the Son!

Muslims say YESHUA is not ELOHIM because there is only one ELOHIM.

And this is true, we do not worship multiple ELOHIM (polytheism) we worship ONE ELOHIM (monotheism), but we must look at the Hebrew to understand the context of what is being said.

John 10:30-33

“I and My Father are ONE (ECHAD).” Again, the Jews picked up stones to stone Him.” Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of these works do you stone Me?” The Jews answered Him, saying, “We do not stone You for a good work, but for BLASPHEMY, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself ELOHIM.”

Deuteronomy 6:4

“Hear, O Yisra’el: YAHWEH our ELOHIM, YAHWEH is ONE (ECHAD)!”

Genesis 2:22-23

“And the rib which YAHWEH ELOHIM had taken from the man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And the man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman’ because she was taken out of man.” For this cause a man shall leave his dad and mother, and join unto his wife, and they shall become ONE (ECHAD) flesh.”

Most people read this scripture with a Western mindset and automatically assume this a singular form of “one” however, The Holy Scriptures have an “Eastern” mindset that must be applied when reading it. Echad in Hebrew is a “Unity Oneness” or a “Compound Unity”. Compound is defined as a thing that is composed of two or more SEPARATE elements”! So, we know that Adam and Eve did not literally morph into one body and become one person! They were still two separate beings but one flesh through the marriage! Therefore, the same thing applies with our ELOHIM of Yisra’el. There is YAHWEH the Father, YESHUA The Son, and The RUACH HA’KODESH The Holy Spirit. They are three separate Beings yet ONE (ECHAD) ELOHIM! YESHUA knew what He was saying and so did the Pharisees, which is why they picked up stones to stone Him. The Pharisees knew that YESHUA was saying that He is ELOHIM and wanted to kill Him.

Many Muslims say that YESHUA never said that He was the Son of YAHWEH!

Let us examine the gospels as the Quran points to and see if this is true.

Psalms/Zubar in Arabic 2:5-9 (Septuagint)

“Then shall he speak to them in his anger and trouble them in His fury. But I have been made KING by Him on Zion His set-apart mountain, declaring the statute of YAHWEH: YAHWEH said to ME, YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY HAVE I BEGOTTEN YOU (Brought into existence by or as if by a parent). Ask of Me and I will give you the goyim (nations) as your inheritance and the ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall tend them as a Shepherd; You shall dash them in pieces as a potter’s vessel. “

The scripture is clear evidence that YESHUA is speaking and not YAHWEH!

John 9:35-37

“YESHUA heard that they had cast him out, and when he had found him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the SON OF ELOHIM? He answered and said, “Who is He, My Master, that I might believe in Him?” And YESHUA said to him, “You have both seen Him and He who speaks with you is He.”

John 3:18

“He who believes in Him is not judged, but he who does not believe is judged already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of ELOHIM.”

Mathew 14:28-33

“And Peter answered Him and said, “Adonai, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to YESHUA. But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid. And beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, “Adonai, save me!” And immediately YESHUA stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “O you of little belief, why did you doubt?” And when they came into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat came and bowed to Him, saying, “Truly You are the SON OF YAHWEH.”

YESHUA is Messiah (al-Masih)

Muslims called YESHUA a prophet, but they also call Him al-Masih which agrees with the Bible. The Quran acknowledges the Torah, The Gospels, and that YESHUA is The Anointed One, The Messiah! Therefore, Muslims are already agreeing that YESHUA is The Savior of the world.

Mathew 16:13-17

“Now when YESHUA came into the parts of Kaisereia Philippos; He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say the Son of Man is? And they said, “Some John the Baptist, and others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “And you, who do you say I am? And Simon Peter answering, said, “You are the MESSIAH, the SON OF THE LIVING ELOHIM.” YESHUA answering, said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Yonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father in the heavens.”

Notice, how YESHUA does not rebuke Peter for saying that He is the Son of YAHWEH? Rather, YESHUA says that Peter is blessed for receiving this revelation because it was given by YAHWEH! We see from scripture that if disciples were ever wrong about something that YESHUA had no problems correcting them:

Mathew 16:22-23

“And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Be kind to Yourself, My Master, this shall not be to You!” But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling-block to Me, for your thoughts are not those of ELOHIM, but those of men.”

John 6:68-69

“Then Simon Peter answered Him, “Adonai, to whom shall we go? You possess words of everlasting life. And we have believed, and we know that You are Ha’Mashiach (al-Masih), The SON OF THE LIVING ELOHIM.”

John 11:27

“She said to Him, “Yes, Adonai, I believe that You are Ha’Mashiach, The SON OF ELOHIM, who has come into the world.”

Ishmael is not the covenant son.

Muslims also believe that Ishmael is the covenant son from Abraham and not Isaac. We have already established that the Quran verifies the truth of the Torah. So, what does the Torah have to say concerning this.

Genesis 17:10-14

“This is My Covenant which you guard between Me and you, AND YOUR SEED AFTER YOU: EVERY MALE CHILD among you is to be circumcised. And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall become a SIGN of the Covenant between Me and you. And a son of eight days (Leviticus 12:3) is circumcised by you, EVERY MALE CHILD IN YOUR GENERATIONS, he who is born in your house or bought with silver from any foreigner who is NOT OF YOUR SEED. He who is born in your house, and he who is bought with your silver, has to be circumcised. So shall My Covenant be in your flesh, for an EVERLASTING COVENANT. And an UNCIRCUMCISED male child, who is NOT circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, his life shall be cut off from his people-he has broken My Covenant.” And ELOHIM said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, do not call her name Sarai, for Sarah is her name. And I shall bless her and also give you a son by her. And I shall bless her, and she shall become nations-kings of peoples are to be from her.” And Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Is a child born to a man who is a hundred years old? Or is Sarah, who is ninety years old, to bear a child? And Abraham said to ELOHIM, “Oh, let Ishmael live before You!” And ELOHIM said, “No, Sarah your wife is truly bearing a son to you, and you shall call his name Isaac. And I shall establish My Covenant with him for an everlasting Covenant, and with his seed after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. See, I shall bless him, and shall make him bear fruit, and greatly increase him. He is to bring forth twelve princes, and I shall make him a great nation. But My Covenant I establish with ISAAC, who Sarah is to bear to you at this appointed time next year. “And when He had ended speaking with him, ELOHIM went up from Abraham. “And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all those born in his house and all those bought with his silver, EVERY MALE among the men of Abraham’s house, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskins that same day, as ELOHIM told him. And Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. Abraham and his son Ishmael were circumcised that same day. And all the men of his house, born in the house or bought with silver from a FOREIGNER, were circumcised with him.”

Firstly, notice how Abraham pleaded that Ishmael would be the covenant child because of his old age, but YAHWEH said No! He would make Ishmael into 12 Princes, but the promised seed would not be through him. Furthermore, Ishmael cannot be the covenant son when he was circumcised when he was 13 and Isaac was circumcised when he was 8 days old, according the Covenant that YAHWEH cut with Abraham as we saw in Genesis 17:12 and again in:

Leviticus 12:3

“And on the EIGHTH DAY the flesh of his foreskin is circumcised.”

In conclusion:

John 16:8-9

“And having come, He (The Holy Spirit) shall reprove the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment-concerning sin because they do not believe in Me…”

It’s a great sin not to believe in the only begotten Son of YAHWEH and anyone who rejects Him will not have eternal life, so it is my prayer that you will receive Him today. I pray that this article was able to how shed some light on this topic and again, if you still do not believe that YESHUA is The Son of YAHWEH who died for you sins, what is stopping you for praying and crying out to Him right now and asking Him if He is or not? You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Shavuot/Pentecost 2021

Now we are entering into the Festival called Festival of Shavuot (Shavuot means “weeks” in Hebrew), Festival of First Fruits, Festival of the Harvest, Festival of Weeks or Pentecost (Which means 50 in Greek). Shavuot is on June 6th and is a High Shabbat which means we are not allowed to work. We will be discussing who celebrated Shavuot, the importance of Shavuot and how do we celebrate it and how the Book of Ruth ties into this important day.

Jeremiah 5:24

“And they do not say in their heart, “Let us now revere YAHWEH our ELOHIM, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season. He guards for us the LAW: THE SHAVUOT (SHA-VOO-OAT) OF HARVEST.”

1 Samuel 12:17

“Is today not the WHEAT HARVEST? Let me call to YAHWEH, so that He sends thunder and rain…”

 In order for us to have a harvest of wheat or plants we need rain; and we see from the scripture of Jeremiah that YAHWEH gives the rain in its season to guard the Law of Shavuot, yet the people still did not revere YAHWEH just as many do today. The world feels obligated that food will be automatically provided for them, but we see that is all of YAHWEH’s provision because He guards it as a Law and He loves us.

 On April 18th, which is equivalent to the 26th day of the 1st month on the Hebrew calendar, was the Sunday AFTER the Feast of Unleavened Bread when we started the counting of the omer (sheaf).  When the priest would wave the barley sheaf before YAHWEH to accept the future crops; which puts us at June 6th on the Gregorian calendar, which is the 15th day of the 3rd month on the Hebrew calendar.

Leviticus 23:15-16 says:

 “And you shall count unto you from the morrow after the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Shabbat’s shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh Shabbat shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new grain offering unto YAHWEH.”

Exodus 23:16

“And the Festival of the Harvest, the first-fruits of your labors which you have sown in the field…”

Exodus 34:22

“And perform the Festival of Shavuot for yourself, of the first-fruits of wheat harvest…”

Let’s look at Scripture to see who celebrated Shavuot!

Modern day Christianity says that the Appointed Times of YAHWEH are for the Jews only and that Apostle Paul did away with the law. However you will see that Paul himself observed Shavuot as all the righteous men of scripture did.

Acts 20:16

“For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he might lose no time in Asia, for he was hurrying to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the DAY OF THE FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT.”

Jubilees 6:15-21

“And He gave to Noah and his sons a sign that there should not be a flood on the earth again. He placed a rainbow in the cloud for a sign of the everlasting Covenant that there should not be a flood again on the earth to destroy it all the days of the earth. For this reason it is ordained and written on the tablets of the heavens, that they should celebrate the FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT IN THIS MONTH (3rd month on Hebrew Calendar) ONCE A YEAR to RENEW the Covenant every year.” And this whole Festival was celebrated in the HEAVENS FROM the day of creation till the days of Noah: twenty-six Jubilees and five weeks of years. And Noah and his sons OBSERVED IT for seven Jubilees and one week of years, till the day of Noah’s death. And from the day of Noah’s death his sons forsook it until the days of Abraham, and they ate blood “But Abraham observed it, and Isaac, and Jacob, and his children observed it up to your days, and in your days the children of Yisra’el forgot it until you celebrated it anew on this mountain. And you shall command the children of Yisra’el to observe this Festival in all their generations for a Command unto them; one day in the year in this month (3rd month) they shall celebrate the Festival. For it is the Festival of SHAVUOT AND THE FEAST OF FIRST-FRUITS: This Feast is twofold and double nature: according to what is written and engraved concerning it, celebrate it.”

Numbers 28:26

“And on the day of FIRST FRUITS, when you bring a new grain offering to YAHWEH at your FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT, you have a holy gathering, you do no work.”

Both Jubilees and Numbers shows that First-Fruits and Shavuot are connected and are the same feast. Especially, since we counted the 50 days starting on First-Fruits.

Jubilees 15:1

“And in the fifth year of the fourth week of this Jubilee, in the THIRD MONTH, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH (15th Day) Abram celebrated the Festival of the First-Fruits (Shavuot) of the grain harvest.”

There are only 30 days in a month on the Hebrew calendar; therefore, we know that the middle of the month is the 15th day. Our earliest indication of this is found if Genesis 7:24 which reads:

“And the waters were mighty on the earth, one hundred and fifty days.”

30 days X 5 months= 150 days

Jubilees 16:13

“And in the middle of the sixth month YAHWEH visited Sarah and did to her as He had spoken, and she conceived. And she bore a son in the THIRD MONTH, and in the MIDDLE OF THE MONTH (15th Day) at the time of which YAHWEH had spoken to Abraham, on the Festival of the First-Fruits (Shavuot) of the Harvest, Isaac was born.”

Jubilees 22:1

“And it came to be in the first week in the forty-fourth Jubilee, in the second year, that is, the year in which Abraham died, that Isaac and Ishmael came from Beersheba to celebrate the FEAST OF SHAVUOT-that is, THE FEAST OF THE FIRST-FRUITS of the harvest-to Abraham, their dad. And Abraham rejoiced because his two sons had come.”

Jubilees 44:1-8

“And Yisra’el (Jacob) took his journey from Haran from his house on the new month of the THIRD MONTH, and he went on the way of Beersheba, and he offered an offering to the ELOHIM of his dad Isaac on the seventh of this month. And Jacob remembered the dream that he had seen at Beyth El, and he feared to go down to Egypt. And while he was thinking of sending word to Joseph to come to him, and that he would not go down, he remained there seven days, if it came to be he should see a vision as to whether he should remain or go down. And he celebrated the HARVEST FESTIVAL OF THE FIRST-FRUITS with old grain, for in all the land of Canaan there was not a handful of seed, for scarcity of food was over all the beasts and cattle and birds, and also over man.”

Tobiyah 2:1 (Included in 1611 KJV Bibles)

“Now when I had come home again and my wife Hannah was restored to me with my son Tobi, at the FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT-which is the holy Feast of the SEVEN WEEKS-there was a good dinner prepared for me, for which I sat down to eat.”

As we see in one of the books that was removed from the Bible, that Tobiyah celebrated Shavuot and if you notice he says “the holy feast of the seven weeks” and we know that we counted 50 days which is 7 completed Shabbats to arrive at the date of June 6th (15th day of the 3rd month). Tobiyah was a righteous man and he understood we should keep the Holy Days even while he was in exile in Nineveh. And followed the command according to how it is written in the Torah which says:

Leviticus 23:15-16

“And from the morrow after the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, you shall count for yourselves: SEVEN COMPLETED SHABBATS, then you shall bring a new grain offering to YAHWEH.” This aligns exactly with what Tobiyah did.

2 Maccabees 12:31-32

“They thanked them, desiring them to continue being friendly toward them. And so they came to Jersualem-The FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT was approaching. And AFTER the Festival of Shavuot, they went out against Gorgias the governor of Edom, who came out with three thousand footmen and four hundred horsemen.

As we can see from all the scriptures above is that Noah and his sons, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Apostle Paul, Maccabees, and Tobiyah all observed Shavuot, The Festival of First-Fruits aka Pentecost. Further pointing to the fact that Noah and Abraham celebrated the Feast before there ever was a Jew.

And what is the importance of this day?

The importance of this day Is ELOHIM was telling Moses that He was taking His people to a fertile land that He was giving them and would like them to acknowledge this gift. Each spring, when the harvest of the year is available the people should bring their initial crops (first-fruits) to the temple so the priest can acknowledge them before ELOHIM. YAHWEH wants us to acknowledge that He has provided for us by bringing our best offering to Him; and it also shows our trust in Him by offering our best knowing that He will continue to provide and bless us. So when Shavuot comes 50 days later they would reap a harvest of barely/wheat.

How do we celebrate Shavuot?

There are many traditions and celebrations that surround Shavuot/Pentecost in modern day Judaism and Christianity, such as the giving of the Torah to Moses, reading the 10 commandments, and the eating of dairy products. However, what does scripture tell us about how we are to celebrate this day as followers of our Master YESHUA?

 Shavuot/Pentecost is a NO work day. So remember that June 6th is a High Shabbat of no work.

 Leviticus 23:21 says:

“And you shall proclaim on that same day, that it may be a holy gathering for yourselves, you do NO SERVILE WORK ON IT a Law forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.”

Deuteronomy 16:10-11 says:

“And you shall perform the Feast of Shavuot/Pentecost to YAHWEH your ELOHIM according to the voluntary offering from your hand, which you give as YAHWEH your ELOHIM blessed you: And you SHALL REJOICE before YAHWEH your ELOHIM, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite that is within your gates, and the stranger; and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which YAHWEH your ELOHIM has chosen to place His name there.”

YAHWEH our ELOHIM tells us to bring a free will/voluntary offering according to the blessing He has given us as a way to say thank you (such as donation to a shelter or the homeless while in diaspora) and He also commands EVERYONE to rejoice before Him on this day. We are not to be sorrowful or in a bad mood because YAHWEH clearly commands us to be joyous on this day.

Deuteronomy 16:12 says:

“And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt: and you shall observe and do these Laws”

Shavuot/Pentecost is the last Moedim/Appointed Time of the spring/summer and as you can see YAHWEH wants us to remember that He brought us up out of Egypt and on Shavuot we are to remember that we were slaves in Egypt. He wants us to remember this fact so that we do not backslide and forget His blessings. By having us remember that we were slaves keeps our focus on Him and His commandments so we do not become disobedient. Also the Book of Jubilees says to renew the Covenant from the flood:

Jubilees 6:16

“He placed His rainbow in the cloud for a sign of the everlasting Covenant that there should not be a flood again on the earth to destroy it all the days of the earth. For this reason it is ordained and written on the tablets of the heavens, that they should celebrate the FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT in this month once a year, to RENEW THE COVENANT every year.”

Leviticus 23:17

“Bring from your dwellings for a wave offering two loaves of bread, of two-tenth parts of fine flour they are, BAKED WITH LEAVEN, first-fruits to YAHWEH.”

Shavuot is about giving thanks for the blessings of YAHWEH, giving a voluntary offering, rejoicing, renewing the Covenant, NO WORK, remembering that we were slaves in Egypt, baking two loaves of bread with leaven as first-fruits (the wave portion of the two loaves was for the priest) and the pouring out of the RUACH HA’KODESH  (Holy Spirit.)

Giving of the RUACH HA’KODESH/Holy Spirit

Another important fact for this day is the promise that YESHUA gave before He ascended into heaven. YESHUA tells us in:

John 16:7

“But I say the truth to you. It is better for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper shall not come to you at all, but if I go, I shall send Him to you.”

It was important for YESHUA to ascend into heaven because He sent the RUACH HA’KODESH to dwell within us and verse 13 He tells us what the Holy Spirit will do:

“But when He comes, the Ruach (Spirit) of the Truth, He shall guide you into ALL TRUTH. For He shall not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears He shall speak, and He shall announce to you what is to come.”

The RUACH HA’KODESH will guide and us lead us into all truth; and show us how to obey the commandments just as Paul says in Romans 8 and Galatians 5. It is important to mention YESHUA’s promise of the Holy Spirit during the Festival of Shavuot because The Holy Spirit was poured out on His disciples on this very day.

 Acts 2:1-4 says:

“And when the day of SHAVUOT/Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one purpose in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the RUACH HA’KODESH/Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

The Book of Ruth is worth reading because it ties into Shavuot

 Ruth 1:22 says:

“So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country, of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of the BARLEY HARVEST (SHAVUOT).”

Another interesting connection with the Book of Ruth and Shavuot is the command that YAHWEH gave concerning the land, He says in:

Leviticus 19:9-10

“And when you reap the harvest of your land, do not completely reap the corners of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. And do not glean your vineyard or gather every grape of your vineyard, leave them for the poor and the stranger. I am YAHWEH your ELOHIM.”

Leviticus 23:22

“And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not make clean riddance of the corners of your field when you reap, neither shall you gather any gleaning of the harvest: you shall leave them for the poor, and to the stranger: I am YAHWEH your ELOHIM.”

Deuteronomy 24:19-22

“When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, do not go back to get it. Let it be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow, so that YAHWEH your ELOHIM might bless you in all the work of your hands. When you beat your olive trees, do not examine the branch behind you. Let it be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow. When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, do not glean behind you. Let it be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.”

YAHWEH made a specific command to not be greedy and clean the fields out when you reap the harvest because you are supposed to leave what is left for the poor, stranger, fatherless, and widow. The connection was made in Ruth, because Boaz did exactly as YAHWEH commanded:

Ruth 2:2-7 says:

 “And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean heads of grain AFTER him in whose sight I shall find favor. And she said unto her; Go, my daughter. And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field AFTER the reapers; as it turned out, she came to the part of the field belonging to Bo’az, the near relative of Elimelek.”

As we see Boaz was obedient to YAHWEH’s command from the Torah and Ruth who was a widow benefited by being able to glean over his fields and also find favor in the sight of Boaz. And a side note is that Boaz and Ruth were blessed to be in the lineage of YESHUA:

1 Chronicles 2:11-15

“Nashon brought forth Salma, and Salma brought forth Boaz; Boaz brought Obed, and Obed brought forth Yishai (Jessie); and Jessie brought forth Eliyab his first-born, and Abinadab the second, and Shim’a the third, Nethan’el the fourth, Raddai the fifth, Ostem the sixth, David the seventh.”

Let us prepare our hearts to get ready to rejoice before our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA and enjoy the last Festival of the spring/summer before it picks back up again in the fall. “On A-p-r-i-l 27th, achoti sister Aisha was immersed down here in Goshen Pass.  And we know that the children of Israel, before they left Mitsrayim (Egypt), there were plagues that YAHWEH brought upon the Mitsrites (Egyptians).  But while that was happening, the children of Israel were in Goshen.  I don’t know what the word Goshen means in Hebrew yet, but the children of Israel were protected in Goshen.  So the place she got immersed is like a safe haven for immersion.

We happened to stumble upon this stick when we were down here.  Completely etched.  When I looked at it, I just happened to pick it up to measure the depth of the water.  And when we looked at it, it reminded us of the stick of Ephraim and the House of Judah coming together as one stick.  When I looked upon it, I could actually see the Hebrew on the stick. It was already etched in here.

You have the Hebrew word Yad. The picture of the arm and the hand in Hebrew.  You have the modern form of Chet.  You have the modern form of Ayin, right here.  You have Waw, where if you turn it upside down the other way, you see Waw right there.  And then you have another Hey, a small Hey in the paleo Hebrew.  There’s a Taw, right here, in the paleo Hebrew, no that’s the otiot.  And then there’s Hey (similar but missing a line).  And this is the paleo Hey in Hebrew and then right beside it is the pictograph otiot of the spiritual man with his hands holding up.

So, this is all that we have seen thus far on here. But it is truly beautiful to see how our father YAHWEH works like it was meant for us to come here and pick up this stick.  From the place that Aisha got immersed … in Goshen Pass, the safe haven for immersion.  HaleluYAH!  Ah-mein!”
