Repent! You cannot hide your sins!

Our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA’s love and mercy endures forever, but we have to strive for the goal to be pure in mind and body the best way that we can and be led by The RUACH HA’KODESH. If you fail get back up and repent; however, the goal is not to run out purposely sinning.

1 John 2:1

“My little children, I write this to you, so that you DO NOT SIN. And if anyone sins, we have an Intercessor with the Father, YESHUA HA’MASHICH, a righteous One.”

Mathew 26:27

“And taking the cup, and giving thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood, that of the Renewed Covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

Acts 5:30

“The ELOHIM of our ancestors raised up YESHUA whom you laid hands on and hung on a timber. Him, a Prince and a Savior, ELOHIM has exalted to His right hand, to give repentance to Yisra’el and forgiveness of sins.”

YESHUA paid the price for all of our sins by trading places with us and bearing the wrath of the sins that we deserved. But, now with this should come a transforming of your mind being a new creature and turning away from sins and not going back to them.

2 Corinthians 5:14-17

“For the love of Messiah compels us, having judged this: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them, and was raised. So from now onwards we know no one according to the flesh. And if we have known Messiah according to the flesh, yet now we no longer know. Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a RENEWED CREATURE- the old have passed away, see, all have become RENEWED!”

Being immersed in The RUACH HA’KODESH and fire means that the RUACH HA’KODESH is living in you and brings about a change in character and the fire is to divinely purify you from your sins making you acceptable to YAHWEH through His Son YESHUA! The goal is striving not to sin and to live righteous holy lives and not appearing to be righteous in front of men, but in the privacy of your own homes you’re not living it.

Mathew 23:27

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you are like whitewashed tombs which outwardly indeed look well, but inside are filled with dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.” So outwardly indeed appear righteous to men, but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness.”

You must develop the mentality that YAHWEH is watching you in every situation and that you cannot hide anything from Him. Just because a human being did not witness the sins you are committing does not mean that YAHWEH doesn’t see you. True repentance is fearing to not upset ELOHIM and to definitely not keep revisiting the same sins over and over again.

Anyone thinking that you can hide your sins from our Creator is mistaken and a example of this is found in Ezekiel 8.

Ezekiel 8:1-18

“And it came to be in the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth of the month, as I sat in my house with the elders of Yehudah (Judah) sitting before me, that the hand of the Master יהוה (YAHWEH) fell upon me there.

2And I looked and saw a likeness, like the appearance of fire. From His waist and downward the appearance was like fire, and from His waist and upward the appearance of brightness, like glowing metal.

3And He stretched out the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my hair. And the Spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heavens, and brought me in visions of ELOHIM to Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), to the door of the north gate of the inner court, where the seat of the image of jealousy was, which causes jealousy.

4And see, the esteem of the ELOHIM of Yisra’ĕl was there, like the vision that I saw in the plain.

5And He said to me, “Son of man, please lift your eyes toward the north.” And I lifted my eyes northward, and north of the slaughter-place gate I saw this image of jealousy in the entrance.

6And He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations which the house of Yisra’ĕl are doing here, driving Me away from My holy  place? And you are to see still greater abominations.”

7Then He brought me to the door of the court. And I looked and saw a hole in the wall.

8And He said to me, “Son of man, please dig into the wall.” And when I dug into the wall I saw a door.

9And He said to me, “Go in, and see the evil abominations which they are doing there.”

10And I went in and looked and saw all kinds of creeping creatures, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Yisra’ĕl, carved all around on the walls.

11And facing them stood seventy men of the elders of the house of Yisra’ĕl, and in their midst stood Ya‛azanyahu son of Shaphan. Each one had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up.

12And He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Yisra’ĕl are doing in the dark, each one in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘יהוה (YAHWEH) does not see us, יהוה (YAHWEH) has forsaken the land.’ ”

13And He said to me, “You are to see still greater abominations which they are doing.”

14And He brought me to the door of the north gate of the House of יהוה (YAHWEH) and I saw women sitting there, weeping for Tammuz.

15Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? You are to see still greater abominations than these.”

16And He brought me into the inner court of the House of יהוה (YAHWEH). And there, at the door of the Hĕḵal of יהוה (YAHWEH), between the porch and the slaughter-place, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the Hĕḵal of יהוה (YAHWEH) and their faces toward the east, and they were bowing themselves eastward to the sun.

17And He said to me, “Have you seen, O son of man? Is it a small matter to the house of Yehuḏah to do the abominations which they have done here? For they have filled the land with violence, and turn back to provoke Me. And see, they are putting the branch to My nose.

18“Therefore I shall indeed deal in wrath. My eye shall not pardon nor would I spare. And they shall cry in My ears with a loud voice, but I shall not hear them.”

The elders of Yisra’el, men and women dug a hole in the wall thinking that they were hiding from the sight of YAHWEH as they committed all kind of abominations in the dark, Verse 12 says it all 12And He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Yisra’ĕl are doing in the dark, each one in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘יהוה (YAHWEH) does not see us, יהוה (YAHWEH) has forsaken the land.’ ”

The same way the children of Yisra’el thought that they were hiding their sins even by digging a hole in the wall is the same way many are trying to hide their sins today. It’s time to repent and turn and completely give your life to YESHUA before it’s too late and walk with Him. I have heard many believers say that they can sin for 6 days out of the week and then go to church and repent and start the cycle over again. This is not true repentance, but the mentality of the “once saved always saved” crowd. Those who commit murder and think that because man did not catch them that they got away with it, or a false witness breathing out lies, those committing adultery, fornicating, getting drunk, watching porn, those who won’t forgive, gambling, stealing, sneaking out the house as teenagers, cussing around friends but not around parents, every vow that you made and did not fulfill, and idolatry the list goes on. How is it that anyone can think that they can hide their sins from the One who created them?

2 Kings 17:9-12

“And the children of Yisra’el secretly did matters against YAHWEH their ELOHIM that were not right, and they built for themselves high places in all their cities, from watchtower unto the walled city, and put up for themselves pillars and Asherim on every high hill and under every tree, and burned incense there on all the high places, like the gentiles whom YAHWEH had removed from their presence. And they did evil matters to provoke YAHWEH, and served the idols, of which YAHWEH had said to them, “Do not do this.”

So, we see again the children of Yisra’el thought they were secretly sinning against YAHWEH, but they provoked the anger of YAHWEH because He saw all of their deeds and exiled the northern kingdom the House of Yisra’el to Assyria. The problem is that which is done in the dark comes to light, that which you do when you think nobody is watching, YAHWEH sees this, so its time to repent and turn away from these sins if this is you.

The Hebrew word for repent is teshuvah which means to “turn back to ELOHIM”. To feel pain, sorrow, or regret, to change the mind or course of conduct, to be sorry for sin as evil and seek forgiveness; to cease to love and practice sin.

Supporting Scriptures that ELOHIM sees all

Testament of Judah 20:1-5

“Therefore my children, know that two spirits wait upon man: the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. And in between is the spirit of understanding of the mind, which inclines wherever it wills. And the works of truth and the works of error are written on the hearts of men, and YAHWEH KNOWS EACH ONE OF THEM. And there is NO TIME AT WHICH THE WORKS OF MEN CAN BE HIDDEN, for they have been written on the heart itself before YAHWEH. And the spirit of truth witnesses all things, and accuses all; and the sinner is burned up by his own heart, and cannot raise his face to the Judge.”

Psalms 90:8

“You have laid our wickedness before You, our hidden ways in the light of Your face.”

Clearly what mankind thinks is hidden to them is clearly seen by YAHWEH!

Psalms 94:5-9

“They crush Your people, O YAHWEH, and they afflict Your inheritance. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. Yet they say, “YAH DOES NOT SEE, and the ELOHIM of Jacob PAY NO HEED.” Take heed, you senseless among the people; and you fools, when would you become wise? He who planted the ear, does He not hear? He who formed the eye, does He NOT SEE?”

Sirach 23:18-19

“An adulterer, says thus in his heart: “WHO SEES ME? I am surrounded with darkness. The walls cover me, and no one sees me; what do I need to fear? The Most High shall not remember my sins.” Such a man only fears the eyes of men, and does not know that the eyes of YAHWEH are ten thousand times brighter than the sun, watching all the ways of men, and observing the most secret places.”

Isaiah 29:15

“Woe to those who seek deep to HIDE their counsel far from YAHWEH, and their works are in the DARK, they say, “WHO SEES US?” AND, “WHO KNOWS US?”

Isaiah 47:10-11

“And you have trusted in your evil, you have said. “NO ONE SEES ME.’ Your wisdom and your knowledge have led you astray. And you have said in your heart, I am, and there is none but me.’ But evil shall come upon you, not knowing from where it arises, and trouble fall upon you, being unable to put it off, and ruin come upon you suddenly, which you know not.”

Proverbs 24:12

“If you say, “See, we did not know this,” would not He who weighs the hearts discern it? And shall He not repay man according to his work?”

Jasher 1:21-23

“And Cain said to his brother Abel, “Surely if I slay you today, who will require your blood from me? And Abel answered Cain, saying, “Surely ELOHIM who has made us in the earth, He will avenge my cause, and He will require my blood from you, if you slay me. For YAHWEH is the Judge and Mediator, and it is He who will repay man according to his evil, and the wicked man according to the wickedness that he may do upon earth. And now, if you slay me here, surely ELOHIM KNOWS YOUR SECRET VIEWS, and will judge you for the evil which you declared to do to me today.”

Jasher 1:28-30

“And YAHWEH KNEW what Cain had done to his brother, and YAHWEH appeared to Cain and said to him, “Where is Abel your brother that was with you? And Cain mislead, and said, “I do not know am I my brother’s keeper? And YAHWEH said to him, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries to me from the ground where you have slain him. For you have slain your brother and have mislead before Me, and imagined in your heart THAT I DID NOT SEE YOU, NOR KNEW ALL YOUR ACTIONS.”

Jasher 11:61

“And when Abram had ceased speaking before the king and princes, Abram lifted up his eyes to the heavens, and said, YAHWEH SEES ALL the wicked, and He will judge them.”

Hebrews 4:12-13

“For the WORD of YAHWEH is living, and working, and sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through even to the dividing of being and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. AND THERE IS NO CREATURE HIDDEN FROM HIS SIGHT, BUT ALL ARE NAKED and laid bare before the eyes of Him with whom is our account.”

Enoch 9:5

“You have made all things, and You have power over all things: AND ALL THINGS ARE NAKED AND OPEN IN YOUR SIGHT, and YOU SEE ALL THINGS, and NOTHING CAN HIDE ITSELF FROM YOU.”

The Scriptures from Hebrews and Enoch are nearly identical about YAHWEH seeing all things and all things being naked before Him, and no creature can hide from His sight. As you see many scriptures are stressing the importance of this which means we should be paying extra attention.

Enoch 98:5-7

“And barrenness has not been given to the woman, but on account of the deeds of her own hands she dies without children. I have sworn to you, you sinners, by the Holy Great One, that ALL YOUR EVIL DEEDS ARE REVEALED IN THE HEAVENS, and that NONE OF YOUR DEEDS OF OPPRESSION ARE COVERED AND HIDDEN. And do not think in your spirit nor say in your heart that you do not know and that you do not see that every sin is recorded in heaven in the presence of the Most High daily. From now on you know that all your oppression with which you oppress is written down every day until the day of your judgment.”

Enoch 104:7

“And although you sinners say, “ALL OUR SINS SHALL NOT BE SEARCHED OUT AND BE WRITTEN DOWN,” nevertheless they shall write down ALL YOUR SINS EVERY DAY. And now I show to you that light and darkness, day and night, SEE ALL YOUR SINS.”

The fact that Enoch states that light and darkness, day and night see all of your sins reminds me of:

Deuteronomy 30:19

“I have called the heavens and the earth as witnesses today against you: I have put before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore you shall choose life, so that you live, both you and your seed…”

Psalms 139:1-16

“O YAHWEH, You have searched me and know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar. You spread my path and my lying down, and know well ALL MY WAYS. For there is not a word on my tongue, but see, O YAHWEH, YOU KNOW IT ALL! You have closed me in, behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. Knowledge too wondrous for me, It is high, I cannot fathom. Where would I go from Your Spirit? Or WHERE WOULD I FLEE FROM YOUR FACE? If I go up into the heavens, YOU ARE THERE; If I make my bed in the grave, see, YOU ARE THERE. I take the wings of the morning, I dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, there too, Your hand would lead me, and Your right hand hold me, If I say, “Darkness shall cover me,” then night would be light to me; even darkness is NOT DARK FOR YOU, but night shines as the day.” As is darkness, so is light. For You, You possessed my kidneys, You have covered me in my mother’s womb. I give thanks to You, For I am awesomely and wondrously made! Wondrous are Your works, and my being knows it well. My bones WERE NOT CONCEALED FROM YOU, when I was shaped in a hidden place, knit together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my uniformed body…”

Jeremiah 1:5

“Before I formed you in the womb I KNEW YOU, and before you came out of the womb I sanctified you- I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Luke 11:39-40

“And the Master said to him, “Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is filled with greed and wickedness. Mindless ones! Did not He who made the outside make the inside also?”

Proverbs 5:21

“For the ways of man are before the eyes of YAHWEH, and He considers all his paths.”

Proverbs 15:3

“The eyes of YAHWEH are in EVERY PLACE, watching the evil and the good.”

Wisdom 1:7

“For the Spirit of YAHWEH fills the world, and that which sustains all knows what is said, there he who speaks unrighteous words is NOT HIDDEN.”

Ecclesiastes 12:14

“For ELOHIM shall bring every work into right-ruling, including all that is hidden, whether good or whether evil.”

2 Maccabees 7:34

“But you, O wicked man, and of all others most evil, do not be lifted up without a cause nor puffed up with uncertain expectancies, lifting up you hand against the servants of ELOHIM; for you have not escaped the judgement of EL SHADDAI, WHO SEES ALL.”

2 Maccabees 12:22

“But when Judah’s first division came into sight, the enemies fled, being smitten with fear and terror with the appearance of He WHO SEES ALL THINGS (YAHWEH); one running this way, another that way so that many of them were injured by their own men, and wounded with the points of their own swords.”

2 Esdras 15:26

“For YAHWEH knows all those who sin against Him, therefore He gives them over to death and destruction.”

2 Esdras 16:53-66

“Let not the sinner say that he has not sinned; for ELOHIM shall burn coals of fire upon his head, who says before YAHWEH ELOHIM and his esteem, “I have not sinned.” See, YAHWEH knows ALL THE WORKS OF MAN, their schemes, their thoughts, and their hearts; who spoke but the word, “Let the earth be made.” And it was made; “Let the heavens be made,” and it was created. By His word the stars were made, and He knows the number of them. He searches the deep, and its treasures; He has measured the sea, and what it contains. He has shut the sea in the midst of the waters, and with His word He has suspended the earth upon the waters. He spreads out the heavens like a span; He has founded it upon the waters. He has made springs of water in the desert, and pools upon the tops of the mountains, that the floods might pour down from the high rocks to water the earth. He made man, and put his heart in the midst of the body, and gave him breath, life, and understanding, and indeed the Spirit of EL SHADDAI; who made all and searches out ALL THAT IS HIDDEN IN THE SECRET PLACES of the earth. Surely He knows your plans, and the thoughts of your hearts, even those who sin, and want to HIDE THEIR SIN. Therefore YAHWEH searches out all your works exactly, and he shall put you all to shame. And when your sins are produced, you shall be ashamed before all, and your own sins shall be your accusers in that Day. What shall you do, or HOW SHALL YOU HIDE YOUR SINS BEFORE ELOHIM and His messengers?”

As all of the witnesses in Scripture testify; there is no hiding your sins no matter what you do because He is there. Therefore, its time to repent of these sins, turn away from your sins, and give your life completely to YESHUA and let the RUACH HA’KODESH guide you, because YAHWEH sees it all.

These rewards await you! Do not give up!

I felt it was necessary to do a message to give hope to anyone who is struggling with their faith, anyone who feels like they do not have the strength to go on, or anyone that has fallen away, so it is my prayer that this message encourages and strengthens you to keep fighting and not give up. The rewards for those who endure to the end will be well worth whatever hardship you are facing now. YESHUA said this road would not be easy as He stated in Mathew 7:14 “Because the gate is narrow and the way is hard pressed which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Being led by The RUACH HA’KODESH and clinging to YESHUA we are able to overcome this world; as we lose our lives in this world to gain it in the world to come.

Store up your treasure in heaven and not on earth!

Mathew 6:19

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in the heavens, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.”

2 Esdras 7:77

“For you have a treasure of work stored up with the Most High, but it shall not be shown to you till the last days.”

This is exactly why YESHUA said to store up your treasures in heaven and not on earth, because we see the example here of Ezra who has a treasure of works stored up with ELOHIM in the heavens and all of those treasures will be revealed to him in the last days. This is encouraging to see, and ties in to what Paul wrote in Galatians telling us to keep doing good.

Galatians 6:9

“And we should not grow weary in well-doing. For in due time, we will reap a harvest, NOT GIVING UP.”

What better harvest can there be than living eternally with the King? If we do not give up and continue to serve our ELOHIM, then we will continue to store up the treasures where it really matters and only ELOHIM knows what those treasures for us will be.

Luke 12:16-21

“He (YESHUA) spoke a parable to them, saying, “The land of a certain rich man yielded well. And he was reasoning within himself, saying, “What shall I do, because I have no room to store my crops? And he said, I am going to do this: pull down my storehouses and build greater, and store all my crops and my good there, then say to myself, “Life, you have many goods laid up for many years, take your ease, eat, drink, rejoice.” But ELOHIM said to him, “You mindless one! This night your life shall be demanded from you. And who shall own what you have prepared? So, he who is storing up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward ELOHIM.”

Having your heart set on the things of this world instead of what is in the heavens will not end well as we from the parable that YESHUA spoke; and Sirach matches these verses perfectly.

Sirach 5:1-3

“Do not lay your heart upon your goods; and do not say, “I have enough for my life.” Do not follow your own mind and strength, to walk in the ways of your heart; and do not say, “Who shall control me in my deeds?” For YAHWEH shall surely punish your pride.”

Sirach 11:18-19

“There is he who grows wealthy by his cunning and frugality, and this is the portion of his reward: For he says, “I have found rest, and now shall eat continually of my goods.” And yet he does not know what even shall come upon him, and that he must leave those to others, and die.”

John 6:27

“Do not labor for the food that is perishing, but for the food that is remaining to everlasting life, which the Son of Man shall give you, for the Father, ELOHIM, has put His seal on Him.”

Colossians 3:1-4

“If, then you were raised with Messiah, seek those which are above, where Messiah is, seated at the right hand of YAHWEH. Mind those above, not those on the earth. For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Messiah in ELOHIM. When HA’MASHIACH, who is our life, is manifested, then you also shall be manifested with Him in esteem.”

Wisdom 2:22

“As for the secrets of ELOHIM, they did not know them; neither did they expect the wages of righteousness, nor discern a reward for blameless lives. For ELOHIM created man to be immortal, and made him to be an image of His own immortality.”

Wisdom 5:15-16

“But the righteous live forever; even so, their reward is with YAHWEH, and the Most High looks after them.”

Tobiyah 4:21

“And do not fear, my son, that we are made poor, for you have much wealth if you revere ELOHIM and depart from all sin, and do that which is pleasing in His sight.”

I believe that Paul summed it all up about what to expect in the world to come when he said in:

1 Corinthians 2:9

“But as it has been written, “Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, nor have entered into the heart of man what ELOHIM has prepared for those who love Him.”

This statement should have us all excited to continue to press forward, because The Creator of the heavens and the earth has plans that we cannot even fathom prepared for those who love Him. So, we are going to look at scriptures to try to take a glance at what this looks like although we know it will be a trillion times more awesome then our minds can comprehend.

Mansions

John 14:1-3

“Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in YAHWEH, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many MANSIONS. And if not, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I shall come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you might be too.”

Enoch 41:1-2

“And after that I saw all the secrets of the heavens, and how the kingdom is divided, and how the actions of men are weighed in the balance. And there I saw the MANSIONS of the elect and the MANSIONS of the holy, and my eyes saw there all the sinners being driven from there; those who deny the Name of the Master of Spirits, and they were being dragged off. And they could not stay because of the punishment which proceeds from the Master of Spirits.”

Ezra speaks of rewards for overcomers!

2 Esdras 7:88-101

“And this is the order of those who have guarded the Ways of the Most High, when they are separated from their mortal body: During the time that they lived in it, they labored to serve the Most High, and withstood danger every hour so they might guard the Law of the Lawgiver perfectly. Therefore this is the teaching concerning them: Firstly, they shall see the great joy the esteem of He who receives him, for they shall have rest in seven orders.”

 Just think about the Creator of heaven and earth being joyful to receive the one who endures this life! Just the thought of YAHWEH and YESHUA receiving us with joy is a reward within itself, this should make you want to strive to see His face!

1.      The first order, because they strove with great effort to overcome the wicked thought that was formed with them, so that it might not lead them astray from life unto death.

2.     The second order, because they see the confusion in which the beings of the unrighteous wander and the punishment that awaits them.

3.     The third order, they see the witness that He who formed them bears concerning them, that through-out their life they GUARDED THE LAW with which they were entrusted.
The word entrust means to assign the responsibility for doing something or to put something into someone’s care or protection. This is truly beautiful that our Father YAHWEH gave us the Torah to protect and serve it. An example of this is found in Exodus 31:14 “And you shall GUARD the Shabbat, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people.” As we see ELOHIM has given us the Shabbat found in the Torah to guard it, He has assigned to us the responsibility to protect it, which is why He says they stood in danger every hour so that they would guard the Law of the Law Giver perfectly. We will guard and protect the Shabbat regardless of any laws to ban Shabbat worship. The Creator has placed eternal life in our midst and left it in our care; and by guarding it, we will be rewarded for it.

4.     The fourth order, they know the rest that they now enjoy, being gathered into their rooms and guarded by messengers (angels) in deep rest, and the esteem waiting for them in the last days.

Not only will we enter a deep rest, but we will also get to see and know what awaits us in paradise as we wait for the end to come.

5.     The fifth order, they rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible and shall inherit what is to come; and they also see the difficulty and toil from which they have been delivered, and the SPACIOUS FREEDOM that they are to receive and enjoy in immortality.

We will escape all that is corruptible and inherit what is to come, which means we have to put on incorruptibility as Paul says:

1 Corinthians 15:50-54
“And this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood is unable to inherit the reign of ELOHIM, neither does corruption inherit incorruption. See, I speak a secret to you: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed. For this corruptible has to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality. And when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming.”

We will also see the difficulties and toils we have been delivered from, everything from feeling alone, being hated by the world and family, not having enough money, whatever the case may be, we will look back on it and breath a sigh of relief. And the mention of enjoying spacious freedom in eternity speaks for itself even though the human mind cannot comprehend what that looks like.

6.     The sixth order, when it is shown them how their face is to shine like the sun, and how they are to be made like the light of the stars, being incorruptible from them on.

Mathew 13:43
“Then the righteous shall sine forth as the sun in the reign of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

Wisdom 3:7
“And in the time of their visitation they shall shine, and run to and fro like sparks among the stubble.”

7.      The seventh order, which is greater than all that have been spoken, for they shall rejoice with boldness, and shall be confident without confusion, and shall be glad without fear, for they press to see the face of He whom they served in life and from Whom they are to receive their reward when esteemed.

Seeing the face of our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA is truly beautiful reward within itself. Those who saw YESHUA when He walked the earth got to see Him, but those who did not will get to see His face. And another part to this is that no one has ever seen the face of YAHWEH at ANYTIME, yet those who overcome will get to see Him.

John 1:18
“No one has ever seen YAHWEH. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He declared.”

John 6:46
“Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from ELOHIM-He has seen The Father.”

1 John 4:12
“No one has seen YAHWEH at anytime…”

Exodus 33:20
“But He (YAHWEH) said, “You are UNABLE to see My face, for no man sees Me and lives.”

This is the order of the beings of the righteous, which from now on is announced; and the previously spoken are the ways of TORTURE that those who would not pay heed shall suffer from now on.” Then I answered and said, “Shall there be time given to the beings after they have been separated from the bodies, to see what you have described to me? And He said to me, “They shall have freedom for seven days, so that during these seven days they may see that of which you have been told, and afterwards they shall be gathered into their dwellings.

The rewards mentioned in Revelation

These rewards are for all believers not just a certain group of people, it is an overview of what is to come for those who overcome.

Revelation 21:6-7

“And He said to me, “It is done!” I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment. The one who OVERCOMES shall inherit all this, and I shall be his ELOHIM and he shall be My son.”

Tree of Life

Revelation 2:7

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who OVERCOMES I shall give to eat from the TREE OF LIFE, which is in the midst of the Paradise of ELOHIM.”

Revelation 22:14

“Blessed are those doing His Commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the TREE OF LIFE, and to enter through the gates into the city.”

The tree of life means that all things will be restored back to the perfection that our ELOHIM intended from the beginning. This is the same tree of life that was in the Garden of Eden and we will get to eat from it.

Genesis 2:9

“And out of the ground YAHWEH ELOHIM made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, with the TREE OF LIFE in the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”

Enoch 24:4-6

“And among them was a tree such as I had never yet smelled, neither was any among them nor were others like it: it had a fragrance beyond all fragrance, and its leaves and blooms and wood do not wither forever. And its fruit is beautiful, and its fruit resembles the dates of a palm.” Then I said, “How beautiful is this tree, and how fragrant, and its leaves are fair, and its blooms very delightful in appearance.” Then Michael their leader, one of the holy and honored messengers (angels) who was with me, answered.”

Enoch 25:1-7

“And he said to me, “Enoch, why do you ask me regarding the fragrance of the tree, and why do you desire to learn the truth?” Then I answered him saying, “I desire to know about everything, but especially about this tree.” And he answered saying, “This high mountain which you have seen, whose summit is like the throne of the Master, is His throne, where the Holy Great One, the Master of Esteem, the Eternal King, will sit, when He shall come down to visit the earth with goodness. And as for this fragrant tree no mortal is permitted to touch it until the great judgment, when He shall take vengeance on all and bring everything to its consummation forever. It shall then be given to the righteous and holy. Its fruit shall be for food to the elect: it shall be transplanted to the holy place, to the Temple of the Master, the Eternal King. Then shall they rejoice with joy and be glad, and they will enter into the holy place. And its fragrance shall be in their bones, and they will live a long life on earth, such as you ancestors lived. And in their days shall no sorrow or plague or torment or calamity touch them. Then I blessed the Master of Esteem, the Eternal King, who has prepared such things for the righteous, and has created them and promised to give to them.”

Revelation 22:1-2

“And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of YAHWEH and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the TREE OF LIFE, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding is fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

Crown of Life

Revelation 2:10-11

“Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. See, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, in order to try you, and you shall have pressure ten days. Be trustworthy until death, and I shall give you the CROWN OF LIFE. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who OVERCOMES shall by no means be harmed by the second death.”

James 1:12

“Blessed is the man who endures trial, for when he has been proved, he shall receive the CROWN OF LIFE which the Master has promised to those who love Him.”

2 Timothy 4:7-8

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have guarded the belief. For the rest, there is laid up for me the CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the Master, the righteous Judge, shall give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all those loving His appearing.”

No second death

Revelation 20:6

“Blessed and holy is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death posses no authority over these, but they shall be priests of YAHWEH and Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.” Verse 13-15 “And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and the grave gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. And the death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”

Revelation 21:8

“But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and Sulphur, which is the second death.”

Hidden manna and renewed Name

Revelation 2:17

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who OVERCOMES I shall give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I shall give him a white stone, and on the stone a renewed Name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”

We will be given the hidden manna which is the bread of the messengers (angels), so it is bread similar to earthly bread but not exactly the same, because this bread came from heaven; and we know what it looks and tastes like based off of scripture.

Exodus 16:13-15

“And it came to be that quails came up at evening and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp. And the layer of dew went up, and see, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as frost on the ground. And the children of Yisra’el saw, and they said to each other, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “It is the bread which YAHWEH has given you to eat.”

Wisdom 19:21-22

“On the contrary, the flames did not destroy the flesh of the corruptible living matters, though they walked in them; neither melted the frosty food from the heavens that would naturally melt.”

 Exodus 16:31  

“And the house of Yisra’el called its name Manna. And it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like thin cakes made with honey.”

Numbers 11:7-8

“Now the manna was like coriander seed, and its appearance of bdellium. The people went about and gathered it, ground it on millstones or beat it in the mortar, and cooked it in a pot, and made cakes of it. And its taste was as the taste of cakes baked with oil.”

As we see YAHWEH provided manna which tasted like cakes with honey mixed with oil; and had the appearance of bdellium which is a semi-transparent oleo-gum resin similar to myrrh obtained from various trees.

Genesis 2:11-12

“The name of the first is Pishon, it is the one surrounding the entire land of Havilah where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium is there, and the shoham stone.”

As we can see that was not ordinary bread, it was bread from the heavens for the children of Yisra’el to eat and they said “What is it?” The Hebrew word for manna used is “man” #H4478 which is bread that came from heaven that fed the Israelites for 40 years in the wilderness and also means “What is it?”

Manna the bread of messengers

Wisdom 16:20

“Instead you fed your own people with FOOD OF MESSENGERS (angels), and sent them bread from the heavens prepared without their labor, able to content every delight, and pleasant to every taste. For your sustenance revealed Your sweetness toward your children, and serving to the appetite of the eater, rendered itself to every man’s liking.”

This scripture correlates with the description and the taste of the manna as described in the previous section as it was able to content every delight and pleasant to every taste. But also notice how Solomon says the children of Yisra’el sent them food “prepared without their labor”? It makes me think of when a messenger (angel) prepared a cake for Elijah without Elijah having to do anything. In a way, it shows that messengers know how to make cakes because they eat manna, and we will get to eat the bread of heaven.

1 Kings 19:5-6

“And he (Elijah) lay and slept under a broom tree, and see, a messenger touched him, and said to him, “Rise, eat.” And he looked and saw by his head a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and turned and lay down.”

2 Esdras 1:15-19

“Thus says YAHWEH the Almighty, “The quails were as a sign to you; I gave you booths for your safety; still you grumbled there, and did not overcome in My Name for the destruction of your enemies, but even to this day you still grumble. Where is the good that I have done for you? When you were hungry and thirsty in the wilderness, did you not cry out to Me, saying, “Why have You brought us into this wilderness to kill us? It would have been better for us to have served the Egyptians, than to die in this wilderness! Then I took pity on your groaning, and gave you MANNA to eat; so you ate the BREAD OF MESSENGERS.”

Psalms 78:23-25

“Yet He had commanded the clouds above, and opened the doors of the heavens, and He rained down manna on them to eat, and He gave them the GRAIN OF THE HEAVENS. Men ate bread OF THE MIGHTY; he sent them provisions to satisfaction “

John 6:31-32

“Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, as it has been written, ‘He gave them bread out of the heavens to eat.’ Therefore YESHUA said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread out of the heavens, but My Father gives you the true bread out of the heavens.”

Luke 14:15

“And when one of those who sat at the table with Him heard this, he said to Him, “Blessed is he who eats bread in the reign of ELOHIM.”

Renewed name

A new name is to given for honor and to establish a new identity, because we will be made new in our incorruptible bodies becoming eternal citizens of His kingdom.  ELOHIM changed the names of Abraham, Sarah, and Jacob when they were about to take on the identity that YAHWEH called for them to be, just as He will do for us:

Abram which means “father most high” to Abraham which means “father of a great multitude” because in Genesis 12:1-3 YAHWEH says to him “And YAHWEH said to Abram, “Go yourself out of your land, from your relatives and from your father’s house, to a land which I show you. And I shall make you a great nation, and bless you and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing! And I shall bless those who bless you, and curse him who curses you. And in you all the clans of the earth shall be blessed.” All the clans of the earth would be blessed through him making his name fitting because he became the “father of a great multitude”.

Sarai means “my princess, my lady” and Sarah means “princess, noblewoman; queen.” Genesis 17:15-16 “As for Sarai your wife, do not call her name Sarai, for Sarah is her name. And I shall bless her and also give you a son by her. And I shall bless her, and she shall become nations-kings of peoples are to be from her.”

And Jacob means “heel holder, supplanter” because he was holding on to the heel of Esau when he was born, but became Yisra’el which means “Overcoming with El”. Genesis 32:27-28 “So He asked him, “What is your name? And he said, Jacob.” And He said “Your name is no longer called Jacob, but Yisra’el, because you have striven with ELOHIM and with men, and have Overcome.”

So when ELOHIM changes your name we see it has a purpose for the better and we too will get to experience Him changing our names to enter into His Kingdom.

Authority over nations and the morning star

Revelation 2:26-29

“And he who OVERCOMES, and guards My works until the end, to him I shall give authority over the nations, and he shall shepherd them with a rod of iron, as the potter’s vessels shall be broken to pieces, as I also have received from My Father. And I shall give him the morning star. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”

This means we will be given absolute power and authority from ELOHIM shepherd, judge, and rule the nations.

Revelation 5:9-10

“And they sang a renewed song, saying, “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slain, and have redeemed us to YAHWEH by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and made us kings and priests to our ELOHIM, and we shall reign upon the earth.”

Wisdom 3:6-9

“He has tried them as gold in the furnace, and received them as a burnt offering. And in the time of their visitation they shall shine, and run to and fro like sparks among the stubble. They shall judge the nations, and reign over the people, and their Master shall reign forever. Those that put their trust in Him shall understand the truth; and those who are trustworthy in love shall abide in Him; for favor and kindness is upon His saints, and He looks after His elect.”

Daniel 7:27

“And the reign, and the rulership, and the greatness of the reigns under all the heavens, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His reign is an everlasting reign, and all rulership’s shall serve and obey Him.”

Morning star

Revelation 22:16

“I, YESHUA, have sent My messenger to witness these to you in the assemblies. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

And as we saw in Revelation 2:28 YESHUA says that “I shall give him the morning star.”

So for those who overcome, YESHUA will share His rulership and rights to throne with us, the morning star represents esteem; and that the one who overcomes will shine brightly and their future will be esteemed, because YESHUA will be sharing it all with us. This is truly beautiful!

White robes and confessing our names before YAHWEH

Revelation 3:5-6

“He who OVERCOMES shall be dressed in white robes, and I shall by no means blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I shall CONFESS his name before My Father and before His messengers.”

The white robes is a representation of the righteousness of the saints as we read in:

Revelation 19:7-8

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him praise, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife prepared herself.” And to her it was given to be dressed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.”

Then YESHUA says that He will not blot us out the Book of Life and will confess our names before the Father and before the messengers.

Mathew 10:32-33

“Everyone, therefore, who shall CONFESS Me before men, him I shall also CONFESS before My Father who is in the heavens. But whoever shall deny Me before men, him I shall also deny before My Father who is in the heavens.”

2 Esdras 2:42-47

“I Ezra saw upon Mount Zion a great people whom I could not number, and they all praised YAHWEH with songs. And in the midst of them there was a young Man of tall stature-taller than all the rest; and upon every one of their heads He placed crowns, and was more exalted; at which I marveled at greatly. So I asked the messenger, and said, “master, who are these?” He answered and said to me, “These are those who have put off the mortal garments, and put on the immortal, and have CONFESSED the Name of ELOHIM; and now they are crowned, and receive palms. Then I said to the messenger, “What young Man is this who crowns them, and give them palms in their hands?” So he answered and said to me, “It is the Son of ELOHIM, whom they have CONFESSED in the world.” Then I began to greatly commend those who stood so steadfastly for the Name of YAHWEH.”

It is a good thing to confess the Name of YAHWEH and YESHUA to all men while on earth and not be ashamed of Him, and we see the reward is great for doing so.

The Name of YAHWEH and name of city written on us

Revelation 3:12-13

“He who OVERCOMES, I shall make him a supporting post in the Tabernacle of My ELOHIM, and he shall by no means go out. And I shall write on him the Name of My ELOHIM and the name of the city of My ELOHIM, the renewed Jerusalem, which comes down out of the heavens from My ELOHIM, and My renewed Name.”

We will be a supporting post in the Tabernacle of ELOHIM and shall by no means go out. A supporting post or a pillar is a column to prop or support something, which means you are a part of the foundation and will not be moved out of the Kingdom of ELOHIM. By YESHUA writing on us the Name of YAHWEH, His renewed Name, and the city of the renewed Jerusalem means that has given us citizenship to enter into His Kingdom the Holy City when all things are created new.

Revelation 21:27

“And there shall by no means enter into it whatever is unclean, neither anyone doing abomination and falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”

Revelation 19:12

“And His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns, having a Name that had been written, which no one had perceived except Himself.”

And this new Name will be written on those who overcome, so we will know it.

Sitting on the throne

Revelation 3:21

“To him who OVERCOMES I shall give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”

Enoch 108:11-15

“And now I will summon the spirits of the good who belong to the generation of light, and I will transform those who were born in darkness, who in the flesh were not repaid with such honor as their faith deserved. And I will bring forth in shining light those who have loved My Holy Name, and I will seat each on the THRONE OF HIS HONOR. And they shall be magnificent for times without number; for righteousness is the judgement of ELOHIM. For He will give faith to the faithful in the habitation of upright paths. And they shall see those who were born in darkness led into darkness, while the righteous shall be magnificent. And the sinners shall cry aloud and see them magnificent, and they indeed will go where days and seasons are prescribed for them.”

It is my prayer that this message strengthens and encourages you to continue to serve YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA until the end and not give up. The road is not easy, but we see the reward waiting for those who OVERCOME is more than worth it. So, whenever you feel like you cannot press on remember these promised rewards and know that our ELOHIM will never forsake you.

Surah 5:68 - A message for ALL Muslims

Firstly, I come in peace and love, only to share a message of truth because I deeply care for all man-kind. If I do not tell the truth then that means I do not love you because that would mean I am withholding truth, and hard truth is not easily accepted. Please listen to this entire message before turning it off and weigh the evidence of what is presented.

 YESHUA whom you call Isa loves you and wants you to come to Him so that He can save you, because He died on the stake for us all including Muslims. We will be discussing Surah 5:68 and 10:94 in the Quran and how it points to the Bible by referencing the Torah and the Injil/Injeel (Gospels), YESHUA is The Torah made flesh and is more than a prophet, what al-Masih means in Arabic, YESHUA has power to forgive sins because He is ELOHIM, YESHUA answers prayers, The Oneness unity of ELOHIM, and Ishmael is not the covenant son.

Firstly, I would like to say when you hear me say YAHWEH that is the Name of The Father, when you hear me say YESHUA that is His Son whom you know as Isa, and ELOHIM the proper title for what the world knows as God.

YESHUA can forgive sins

YESHUA possesses the power to forgive sins and the beautiful thing is this, think of the worst thing you have done in your life or something so shameful that you would never tell anyone else. YESHUA came and died for those sins and wiped the slate clean and remembers them no more! This is true love and He wants you to accept this free gift and give your life to Him, what a beautiful gift from The Father YAHWEH, this is something Islam cannot offer because they believe He is just a man/prophet.

Who has power to forgive sins? Everyone including Muslims agree that only ELOHIM alone has the power to forgive sins, so if YESHUA was not ELOHIM then how was He able to forgive sins? Proving He forgave sins would mean that He is more than a man and more than a prophet. So what does the gospels (injil) have to say about this?

Mathew 9:1-6

“And entering into a boat, He passed over, and came to His own city. And see, they were brining to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. And YESHUA, seeing their belief, said to the paralytic, “Take courage, son, your sins have been forgiven.” And see, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This One blasphemes!” And YESHUA, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think wickedness in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins have been forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? But in order for you to know that the Son of Man possesses authority on earth to forgive sins…”He then said to the paralytic, “Rise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

Luke 7:46-50

“You did not anoint My head with oil, but she anointed My feet with perfume. Therefore I say to you, her many sins have been forgiven, because she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, he loves little. And He said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven.” And those who were sitting at the table with Him began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins? And He (YESHUA) said to the woman, “Your belief has saved you. Go in peace.”

So, as we can see the Pharisees around YESHUA were baffled because they believed that YESHUA was only a man, so how can He forgive sins? That is because He is ELOHIM in the flesh and had the power to forgive sins.

So now let us go back into the Torah to see Another forgive sins other than The Father YAHWEH! And as we see from the example from the gospels above is that it can only be YESHUA forgiving sins in this passage.

Exodus 23:20-21

“See, I am sending a Messenger before you to guard you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. Be on guard before Him and obey His voice. Do not rebel against Him, for He is not going to pardon your transgression (an act that goes against a law, rule or code of conduct), for My Name is in Him.”

John 17:1-3

“YESHUA said these, and lifted up His eyes to the heavens, and said, “Father, the hour has come. Esteem Your Son, so that Your Son also might esteem You, as You have given Him AUTHORITY OVER ALL FLESH, that He should give everlasting life to all whom You have given Him. And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true ELOHIM, and YESHUA Mashiach whom You have sent.”

YESHUA has authority over ALL people, not some people, and we also see that everlasting life requires to believe in YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA! It was important that I mention this first because YESHUA is found in the Torah and Gospels which is mentioned in the Quran in Surah 5:68.

Surah 5:68 pointing to the Bible

Contained within the pages of the Quran is Surah 5:68 which points to the Bible and I will break down this passage and pray that some eyes will be opened.

Surah 5:68 says

“You people of the Book (Israelites) have no ground to stand on until you observe the TORAH AND GOSPELS and what is revealed to you from the Lord (Reference to YAHWEH).”

Firstly, this statement is true because my message has always been for followers of YESHUA to keep the commandments and believe in YESHUA as recorded in Revelation 12:17 and Revelation 14:12. So every believer in YESHUA has no ground to stand on unless you have faith and works by keeping the commandments of the Torah and faith in YESHUA! But notice how Allah is verifying this fact and not denying it? By doing so he agrees that YESHUA is Son of YAHWEH, The Messiah (al-Masih), and that the Bible is the truth and must be obeyed according to the criteria that YESHUA Himself tells His followers to do.

John 14:21

“He who possesses My Commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and manifest Myself to him.” Verse 24 “He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but the Father who sent Me.”

This is critical because the Quran itself is pointing to the authenticity of The Bible by pointing to it as truth. Notice, how Allah says “You people of the Book” in doing so he is acknowledging that the Israelites/Jews are the chosen people of The Book and have the truth contained within The Torah and Gospels (Injil). If the Quran was the final revelation given to Muhammad, then why is this final revelation pointing back to the Bible? The Torah is the first five Books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) and YESHUA whom you know as Isa IS THE LIVING TORAH MADE FLESH, this should be an eye opener.

Think of it this way, even in the Torah the Israelites had to make animal sacrifices for the forgiveness of sins so the sinner was forgiven by the blood of an innocent animal. This was a foreshadow of what would happen with YESHUA His Son. YAHWEH was teaching His people that when you sin that innocent blood has to be shed for the sinner which is why He sent His Son YESHUA who was sinless yet became sin for us to bear the wrath of all of our sins. Now today, there is not Temple and there are no Levites because YESHUA is now our High Priest. So without a Temple we could not slaughter for sins even if we wanted, because YESHUA is the sacrificial Lamb for all man-kind. So the question is who is atoning for your sins today? The only One that can give you this gift if YESHUA!

So being that the Quran points to the Bible as the truth and that the Israelites are the chosen people of the Book (The Bible) and says to observe the Torah and Gospels. The beautiful part is that the written Torah is YESHUA made flesh Who is the Living Torah and He said so out of His own mouth:

John 14:6

“YESHUA said to him, I am the WAY, and the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Psalms 119:1

“Blessed are the perfect in THE WAY, who walk in the TORAH of YAHWEH!”

Psalms 119:142

“Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and Your TORAH IS TRUTH.”

Proverbs 13:14

“The TORAH of the wise is a fountain of LIFE.”

Notice how The Way, The Truth, and the Life all point back to the Torah? When YESHUA spoke these words He was summing up what He is, the word!

Psalms 40:7

“Then I said, See, I come in the scroll (volume) of the Book it is written concerning Me.”

YESHUA is speaking well before He became flesh and said that He comes in the scroll (the animal skin, papyrus, or leather the Torah was written on) was concerning Him. This ties in exactly to what YESHUA said in:

Luke 24:44

“And He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all have to be filled that were written in the Torah of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms (Zabur in Arabic) concerning ME.” Which matches perfectly with Psalms 40:7 quoted above.

John 5:39

“You search the Scriptures, because you think you possess everlasting life in them. And these are the ones that bear witness of Me.”

YESHUA’s Name literally means “YAHWEH is Salvation”, why? Because The Father YAHWEH sent His only begotten Son into the world to die for each of us for forgiveness of sins.

Surah 10:94

“If you are in doubt of anything revealed in the Quran then ask the people of the Book.” Some translations say “Then ask those who have been reading the Book or Scriptures before you.”

Firstly, this passage would not make sense by saying “Read the Quran which was before the Quran.” This passage is referring to another Book and that Book is the Bible which is also known as The Scriptures as some versions of the Quran read. So why would he tell you to ask us for the truth if we do not have the truth to begin with? The people of the book (Israelite/Jews and those grafted in) can tell you who YESHUA is and what the Gospels (Injil) means for your salvation and the importance of keeping the Torah. So he is pointing you to the authentic Word of ELOHIM that is found in the Bible and we know the Bible tells us how to be saved, so this is amazing. And the part about “Then ask those who have been reading the Scriptures before you,” proves that the Bible came first.

 The Gospels are contained within the Bible (Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John) which is announcing The Good News of YESHUA, that He died for our sins and rose on the third day. YESHUA is waiting to receive you into His loving arms, all you have to do is accept that He is The Son of YAHWEH the promised Messiah (al-Masih), and That He died for you for forgiveness of sins. One thing I would like to say is there is nothing stopping you from getting on your knees and praying and asking YESHUA if He is the Son of YAHWEH! You have nothing to lose, but everything to gain.

 Notice, how Allah does not make any mention of the Bible being corrupt, or it not being the truth, or any falsehoods found within the Torah and Gospels? Also, he is saying to observe all that was sent down by ELOHIM, which means the entire Bible is the truth and contains the way to eternal life, and that is through YESHUA, and nobody comes to the Father except through Him alone.

So to put this in perspective, if a Christian were to leave their faith and convert to Islam, and they start reading the Quran and come across Surah 5:68? They would then realize that Allah is telling them to go back to the truth that they just left that was found in the pages of the Bible which contains the Torah and The Gospels and obey it.

 Muslims I plea with you to accept this truth because you simply do not know your identity the same way most Christians do not know their identity.  What I mean by this is that we are all called to be a citizens of Yisra’el, one faith, grafted in with the native-born Israelites worshipping YAHWEH in spirit and truth, through His son YESHUA and keeping the commandments of the Torah.

YESHUA answers prayers

We already know that no human being can answer prayers, but only ELOHIM  can, so look at the words of YESHUA in the gospel of John.

John 14:13-14

“And whatever you ask in My Name, that I shall do, in order that the Father might be esteemed in the Son. If you ask whatever in My Name, I shall do it.”

This is the reason why we close our prayers saying in YESHUA’s Name, because He goes to the Father and the Father is esteemed through the Son. This is truly beautiful and no human can do this.

YESHUA is ELOHIM

John 20:27-28

“Then He (YESHUA) said to Thomas, “Bring your finger here, and see My hands.  And bring your hands and put it into My side-and do not be unbelieving, but believing.” And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Master and My ELOHIM!”

Notice that YESHUA did not rebuke Thomas for what He said, but rather commended Him for it? Then He says blessed are those who believe and have not seen. Thomas got to see YESHUA as ELOHIM in flesh and believed, how much more for those who did not see this first hand?

Now let us look at examples of how no one has ever seen The Father!

Genesis 32:24-30

“And Jacob was left alone. And a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. And when He saw that He did not overcome him, He touched the socket of Jacob’s hip. And the socket of Jacob’s hip was dislocated and he wrestled with Him. And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I am not letting You go until You have blessed me!” So He asked him. “What is your name? And he said, Jacob.” And He said, “Your name is no longer called Jacob, but Yisra’el, because you have striven with ELOHIM and with men, and have overcome. And Jacob asked Him, saying, “Please let me know Your Name.” And He said, “Why do you ask about My Name? And He blessed him there.” And Jacob called the name of the Place Peni’el, “For I have seen ELOHIM FACE TO FACE, AND MY LIFE IS PRESERVED.”

Exodus 33:17-23

“And YAHWEH said to Moses, “Even this word you have spoken I shall do, for you have found favor in My eyes, and I know you by name.” Then he said, “Please show me Your esteem.” And He said, “I shall cause all My goodness to pass before you, and I shall proclaim the Name of YAHWEH before you. And I shall favor him whom I favor, and shall have compassion on him whom I have compassion.” But He said, “YOU ARE UNABLE TO SEE MY FACE, FOR NO MAN SEES ME AND LIVES.” And YAHWEH said, “See, there is a place with Me! and you shall stand on the rock. And it shall be, while My esteem passes by, that I shall put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand while I pass by. Then I shall take away My hand and you shall see My BACK, but My FACE SHALL NOT BE SEEN.”

Here is clear evidence from YAHWEH The Father that NO MAN can see His face and live! So if no one has ever seen the Father and lived, then who did Jacob see when He saw ELOHIM, but yet lived? This means that Jacob saw YESHUA The Son! So we have to understand this concept before we go on any further because YESHUA and disciple John both agree that this is true.

John 5:37

“And the Father who sent Me, He bore witness of Me. You have neither HEARD HIS VOICE AT ANY TIME, NOR SEEN HIS FORM.”

John 6:46

“Not that ANYONE has seen the Father, except HE (YESHUA) who is from ELOHIM, HE (YESHUA) has seen the Father.”

1 John 4:12

“NO ONE has seen YAHWEH (The Father) AT ANY TIME…”

John 8:56-58 YESHUA says:

“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and you have seen Abraham? YESHUA said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.”

Exodus 3:14 says:

“And ELOHIM said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”

If Abraham existed before Moses , then we know it is YESHUA speaking to Moses on the mountain. Let’s examine the burning bush account and compare it to an account with Joshua.

Exodus 3:2-5

“And the Messenger of YAHWEH appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. And he looked and saw the bush burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, “Let me turn aside now, and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” And YAHWEH saw that he turned aside to see, and ELOHIM called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses! Moses! And he said, “Here I am.” And He said, Do not come near here. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”

Joshua 5:13-14 it says:

“And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Are you for us, or for our adversaries? And he said “Nay; but as captain of the host of YAHWEH am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship and said unto him, what saith my Master unto his servant?”

Notice Joshua bowed down to the earth and worshiped because Joshua knew that He was talking to a powerful being. It was YESHUA pre-incarnate again who came to deliver a message to Joshua. Joshua also calls this Captain, Adonai (My Master) and Joshua knew that he was just a servant. Then in verse 15, YESHUA tells Joshua the same thing that was told to Moses at the burning bush, Joshua 5:15 says:

“And the captain of YAHWEH’s host said unto Joshua, loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place where you stand is holy. And Joshua did so.”

This is more evidence that YESHUA was here from the very beginning and is ELOHIM the Son!

Muslims say YESHUA is not ELOHIM because there is only one ELOHIM.

And this is true, we do not worship multiple ELOHIM (polytheism) we worship ONE ELOHIM (monotheism), but we must look at the Hebrew to understand the context of what is being said.

John 10:30-33

“I and My Father are ONE (ECHAD).” Again, the Jews picked up stones to stone Him.” Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of these works do you stone Me?” The Jews answered Him, saying, “We do not stone You for a good work, but for BLASPHEMY, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself ELOHIM.”

Deuteronomy 6:4

“Hear, O Yisra’el: YAHWEH our ELOHIM, YAHWEH is ONE (ECHAD)!”

Genesis 2:22-23

“And the rib which YAHWEH ELOHIM had taken from the man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And the man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman’ because she was taken out of man.” For this cause a man shall leave his dad and mother, and join unto his wife, and they shall become ONE (ECHAD) flesh.”

Most people read this scripture with a Western mindset and automatically assume this a singular form of “one” however, The Holy Scriptures have an “Eastern” mindset that must be applied when reading it. Echad in Hebrew is a “Unity Oneness” or a “Compound Unity”. Compound is defined as a thing that is composed of two or more SEPARATE elements”! So, we know that Adam and Eve did not literally morph into one body and become one person! They were still two separate beings but one flesh through the marriage! Therefore, the same thing applies with our ELOHIM of Yisra’el. There is YAHWEH the Father, YESHUA The Son, and The RUACH HA’KODESH The Holy Spirit. They are three separate Beings yet ONE (ECHAD) ELOHIM! YESHUA knew what He was saying and so did the Pharisees, which is why they picked up stones to stone Him. The Pharisees knew that YESHUA was saying that He is ELOHIM and wanted to kill Him.

Many Muslims say that YESHUA never said that He was the Son of YAHWEH!

Let us examine the gospels as the Quran points to and see if this is true.

Psalms/Zubar in Arabic 2:5-9 (Septuagint)

“Then shall he speak to them in his anger and trouble them in His fury. But I have been made KING by Him on Zion His set-apart mountain, declaring the statute of YAHWEH: YAHWEH said to ME, YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY HAVE I BEGOTTEN YOU (Brought into existence by or as if by a parent). Ask of Me and I will give you the goyim (nations) as your inheritance and the ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall tend them as a Shepherd; You shall dash them in pieces as a potter’s vessel. “

The scripture is clear evidence that YESHUA is speaking and not YAHWEH!

John 9:35-37

“YESHUA heard that they had cast him out, and when he had found him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the SON OF ELOHIM? He answered and said, “Who is He, My Master, that I might believe in Him?” And YESHUA said to him, “You have both seen Him and He who speaks with you is He.”

John 3:18

“He who believes in Him is not judged, but he who does not believe is judged already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of ELOHIM.”

Mathew 14:28-33

“And Peter answered Him and said, “Adonai, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to YESHUA. But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid. And beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, “Adonai, save me!” And immediately YESHUA stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “O you of little belief, why did you doubt?” And when they came into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat came and bowed to Him, saying, “Truly You are the SON OF YAHWEH.”

YESHUA is Messiah (al-Masih)

Muslims called YESHUA a prophet, but they also call Him al-Masih which agrees with the Bible. The Quran acknowledges the Torah, The Gospels, and that YESHUA is The Anointed One, The Messiah! Therefore, Muslims are already agreeing that YESHUA is The Savior of the world.

Mathew 16:13-17

“Now when YESHUA came into the parts of Kaisereia Philippos; He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say the Son of Man is? And they said, “Some John the Baptist, and others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “And you, who do you say I am? And Simon Peter answering, said, “You are the MESSIAH, the SON OF THE LIVING ELOHIM.” YESHUA answering, said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Yonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father in the heavens.”

Notice, how YESHUA does not rebuke Peter for saying that He is the Son of YAHWEH? Rather, YESHUA says that Peter is blessed for receiving this revelation because it was given by YAHWEH! We see from scripture that if disciples were ever wrong about something that YESHUA had no problems correcting them:

Mathew 16:22-23

“And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Be kind to Yourself, My Master, this shall not be to You!” But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling-block to Me, for your thoughts are not those of ELOHIM, but those of men.”

John 6:68-69

“Then Simon Peter answered Him, “Adonai, to whom shall we go? You possess words of everlasting life. And we have believed, and we know that You are Ha’Mashiach (al-Masih), The SON OF THE LIVING ELOHIM.”

John 11:27

“She said to Him, “Yes, Adonai, I believe that You are Ha’Mashiach, The SON OF ELOHIM, who has come into the world.”

Ishmael is not the covenant son.

Muslims also believe that Ishmael is the covenant son from Abraham and not Isaac. We have already established that the Quran verifies the truth of the Torah. So, what does the Torah have to say concerning this.

Genesis 17:10-14

“This is My Covenant which you guard between Me and you, AND YOUR SEED AFTER YOU: EVERY MALE CHILD among you is to be circumcised. And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, and it shall become a SIGN of the Covenant between Me and you. And a son of eight days (Leviticus 12:3) is circumcised by you, EVERY MALE CHILD IN YOUR GENERATIONS, he who is born in your house or bought with silver from any foreigner who is NOT OF YOUR SEED. He who is born in your house, and he who is bought with your silver, has to be circumcised. So shall My Covenant be in your flesh, for an EVERLASTING COVENANT. And an UNCIRCUMCISED male child, who is NOT circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, his life shall be cut off from his people-he has broken My Covenant.” And ELOHIM said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, do not call her name Sarai, for Sarah is her name. And I shall bless her and also give you a son by her. And I shall bless her, and she shall become nations-kings of peoples are to be from her.” And Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Is a child born to a man who is a hundred years old? Or is Sarah, who is ninety years old, to bear a child? And Abraham said to ELOHIM, “Oh, let Ishmael live before You!” And ELOHIM said, “No, Sarah your wife is truly bearing a son to you, and you shall call his name Isaac. And I shall establish My Covenant with him for an everlasting Covenant, and with his seed after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. See, I shall bless him, and shall make him bear fruit, and greatly increase him. He is to bring forth twelve princes, and I shall make him a great nation. But My Covenant I establish with ISAAC, who Sarah is to bear to you at this appointed time next year. “And when He had ended speaking with him, ELOHIM went up from Abraham. “And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all those born in his house and all those bought with his silver, EVERY MALE among the men of Abraham’s house, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskins that same day, as ELOHIM told him. And Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. Abraham and his son Ishmael were circumcised that same day. And all the men of his house, born in the house or bought with silver from a FOREIGNER, were circumcised with him.”

Firstly, notice how Abraham pleaded that Ishmael would be the covenant child because of his old age, but YAHWEH said No! He would make Ishmael into 12 Princes, but the promised seed would not be through him. Furthermore, Ishmael cannot be the covenant son when he was circumcised when he was 13 and Isaac was circumcised when he was 8 days old, according the Covenant that YAHWEH cut with Abraham as we saw in Genesis 17:12 and again in:

Leviticus 12:3

“And on the EIGHTH DAY the flesh of his foreskin is circumcised.”

In conclusion:

John 16:8-9

“And having come, He (The Holy Spirit) shall reprove the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment-concerning sin because they do not believe in Me…”

It’s a great sin not to believe in the only begotten Son of YAHWEH and anyone who rejects Him will not have eternal life, so it is my prayer that you will receive Him today. I pray that this article was able to how shed some light on this topic and again, if you still do not believe that YESHUA is The Son of YAHWEH who died for you sins, what is stopping you for praying and crying out to Him right now and asking Him if He is or not? You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Shavuot/Pentecost 2021

Now we are entering into the Festival called Festival of Shavuot (Shavuot means “weeks” in Hebrew), Festival of First Fruits, Festival of the Harvest, Festival of Weeks or Pentecost (Which means 50 in Greek). Shavuot is on June 6th and is a High Shabbat which means we are not allowed to work. We will be discussing who celebrated Shavuot, the importance of Shavuot and how do we celebrate it and how the Book of Ruth ties into this important day.

Jeremiah 5:24

“And they do not say in their heart, “Let us now revere YAHWEH our ELOHIM, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season. He guards for us the LAW: THE SHAVUOT (SHA-VOO-OAT) OF HARVEST.”

1 Samuel 12:17

“Is today not the WHEAT HARVEST? Let me call to YAHWEH, so that He sends thunder and rain…”

 In order for us to have a harvest of wheat or plants we need rain; and we see from the scripture of Jeremiah that YAHWEH gives the rain in its season to guard the Law of Shavuot, yet the people still did not revere YAHWEH just as many do today. The world feels obligated that food will be automatically provided for them, but we see that is all of YAHWEH’s provision because He guards it as a Law and He loves us.

 On April 18th, which is equivalent to the 26th day of the 1st month on the Hebrew calendar, was the Sunday AFTER the Feast of Unleavened Bread when we started the counting of the omer (sheaf).  When the priest would wave the barley sheaf before YAHWEH to accept the future crops; which puts us at June 6th on the Gregorian calendar, which is the 15th day of the 3rd month on the Hebrew calendar.

Leviticus 23:15-16 says:

 “And you shall count unto you from the morrow after the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Shabbat’s shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh Shabbat shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new grain offering unto YAHWEH.”

Exodus 23:16

“And the Festival of the Harvest, the first-fruits of your labors which you have sown in the field…”

Exodus 34:22

“And perform the Festival of Shavuot for yourself, of the first-fruits of wheat harvest…”

Let’s look at Scripture to see who celebrated Shavuot!

Modern day Christianity says that the Appointed Times of YAHWEH are for the Jews only and that Apostle Paul did away with the law. However you will see that Paul himself observed Shavuot as all the righteous men of scripture did.

Acts 20:16

“For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he might lose no time in Asia, for he was hurrying to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the DAY OF THE FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT.”

Jubilees 6:15-21

“And He gave to Noah and his sons a sign that there should not be a flood on the earth again. He placed a rainbow in the cloud for a sign of the everlasting Covenant that there should not be a flood again on the earth to destroy it all the days of the earth. For this reason it is ordained and written on the tablets of the heavens, that they should celebrate the FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT IN THIS MONTH (3rd month on Hebrew Calendar) ONCE A YEAR to RENEW the Covenant every year.” And this whole Festival was celebrated in the HEAVENS FROM the day of creation till the days of Noah: twenty-six Jubilees and five weeks of years. And Noah and his sons OBSERVED IT for seven Jubilees and one week of years, till the day of Noah’s death. And from the day of Noah’s death his sons forsook it until the days of Abraham, and they ate blood “But Abraham observed it, and Isaac, and Jacob, and his children observed it up to your days, and in your days the children of Yisra’el forgot it until you celebrated it anew on this mountain. And you shall command the children of Yisra’el to observe this Festival in all their generations for a Command unto them; one day in the year in this month (3rd month) they shall celebrate the Festival. For it is the Festival of SHAVUOT AND THE FEAST OF FIRST-FRUITS: This Feast is twofold and double nature: according to what is written and engraved concerning it, celebrate it.”

Numbers 28:26

“And on the day of FIRST FRUITS, when you bring a new grain offering to YAHWEH at your FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT, you have a holy gathering, you do no work.”

Both Jubilees and Numbers shows that First-Fruits and Shavuot are connected and are the same feast. Especially, since we counted the 50 days starting on First-Fruits.

Jubilees 15:1

“And in the fifth year of the fourth week of this Jubilee, in the THIRD MONTH, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH (15th Day) Abram celebrated the Festival of the First-Fruits (Shavuot) of the grain harvest.”

There are only 30 days in a month on the Hebrew calendar; therefore, we know that the middle of the month is the 15th day. Our earliest indication of this is found if Genesis 7:24 which reads:

“And the waters were mighty on the earth, one hundred and fifty days.”

30 days X 5 months= 150 days

Jubilees 16:13

“And in the middle of the sixth month YAHWEH visited Sarah and did to her as He had spoken, and she conceived. And she bore a son in the THIRD MONTH, and in the MIDDLE OF THE MONTH (15th Day) at the time of which YAHWEH had spoken to Abraham, on the Festival of the First-Fruits (Shavuot) of the Harvest, Isaac was born.”

Jubilees 22:1

“And it came to be in the first week in the forty-fourth Jubilee, in the second year, that is, the year in which Abraham died, that Isaac and Ishmael came from Beersheba to celebrate the FEAST OF SHAVUOT-that is, THE FEAST OF THE FIRST-FRUITS of the harvest-to Abraham, their dad. And Abraham rejoiced because his two sons had come.”

Jubilees 44:1-8

“And Yisra’el (Jacob) took his journey from Haran from his house on the new month of the THIRD MONTH, and he went on the way of Beersheba, and he offered an offering to the ELOHIM of his dad Isaac on the seventh of this month. And Jacob remembered the dream that he had seen at Beyth El, and he feared to go down to Egypt. And while he was thinking of sending word to Joseph to come to him, and that he would not go down, he remained there seven days, if it came to be he should see a vision as to whether he should remain or go down. And he celebrated the HARVEST FESTIVAL OF THE FIRST-FRUITS with old grain, for in all the land of Canaan there was not a handful of seed, for scarcity of food was over all the beasts and cattle and birds, and also over man.”

Tobiyah 2:1 (Included in 1611 KJV Bibles)

“Now when I had come home again and my wife Hannah was restored to me with my son Tobi, at the FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT-which is the holy Feast of the SEVEN WEEKS-there was a good dinner prepared for me, for which I sat down to eat.”

As we see in one of the books that was removed from the Bible, that Tobiyah celebrated Shavuot and if you notice he says “the holy feast of the seven weeks” and we know that we counted 50 days which is 7 completed Shabbats to arrive at the date of June 6th (15th day of the 3rd month). Tobiyah was a righteous man and he understood we should keep the Holy Days even while he was in exile in Nineveh. And followed the command according to how it is written in the Torah which says:

Leviticus 23:15-16

“And from the morrow after the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, you shall count for yourselves: SEVEN COMPLETED SHABBATS, then you shall bring a new grain offering to YAHWEH.” This aligns exactly with what Tobiyah did.

2 Maccabees 12:31-32

“They thanked them, desiring them to continue being friendly toward them. And so they came to Jersualem-The FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT was approaching. And AFTER the Festival of Shavuot, they went out against Gorgias the governor of Edom, who came out with three thousand footmen and four hundred horsemen.

As we can see from all the scriptures above is that Noah and his sons, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Apostle Paul, Maccabees, and Tobiyah all observed Shavuot, The Festival of First-Fruits aka Pentecost. Further pointing to the fact that Noah and Abraham celebrated the Feast before there ever was a Jew.

And what is the importance of this day?

The importance of this day Is ELOHIM was telling Moses that He was taking His people to a fertile land that He was giving them and would like them to acknowledge this gift. Each spring, when the harvest of the year is available the people should bring their initial crops (first-fruits) to the temple so the priest can acknowledge them before ELOHIM. YAHWEH wants us to acknowledge that He has provided for us by bringing our best offering to Him; and it also shows our trust in Him by offering our best knowing that He will continue to provide and bless us. So when Shavuot comes 50 days later they would reap a harvest of barely/wheat.

How do we celebrate Shavuot?

There are many traditions and celebrations that surround Shavuot/Pentecost in modern day Judaism and Christianity, such as the giving of the Torah to Moses, reading the 10 commandments, and the eating of dairy products. However, what does scripture tell us about how we are to celebrate this day as followers of our Master YESHUA?

 Shavuot/Pentecost is a NO work day. So remember that June 6th is a High Shabbat of no work.

 Leviticus 23:21 says:

“And you shall proclaim on that same day, that it may be a holy gathering for yourselves, you do NO SERVILE WORK ON IT a Law forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.”

Deuteronomy 16:10-11 says:

“And you shall perform the Feast of Shavuot/Pentecost to YAHWEH your ELOHIM according to the voluntary offering from your hand, which you give as YAHWEH your ELOHIM blessed you: And you SHALL REJOICE before YAHWEH your ELOHIM, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite that is within your gates, and the stranger; and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which YAHWEH your ELOHIM has chosen to place His name there.”

YAHWEH our ELOHIM tells us to bring a free will/voluntary offering according to the blessing He has given us as a way to say thank you (such as donation to a shelter or the homeless while in diaspora) and He also commands EVERYONE to rejoice before Him on this day. We are not to be sorrowful or in a bad mood because YAHWEH clearly commands us to be joyous on this day.

Deuteronomy 16:12 says:

“And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt: and you shall observe and do these Laws”

Shavuot/Pentecost is the last Moedim/Appointed Time of the spring/summer and as you can see YAHWEH wants us to remember that He brought us up out of Egypt and on Shavuot we are to remember that we were slaves in Egypt. He wants us to remember this fact so that we do not backslide and forget His blessings. By having us remember that we were slaves keeps our focus on Him and His commandments so we do not become disobedient. Also the Book of Jubilees says to renew the Covenant from the flood:

Jubilees 6:16

“He placed His rainbow in the cloud for a sign of the everlasting Covenant that there should not be a flood again on the earth to destroy it all the days of the earth. For this reason it is ordained and written on the tablets of the heavens, that they should celebrate the FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT in this month once a year, to RENEW THE COVENANT every year.”

Leviticus 23:17

“Bring from your dwellings for a wave offering two loaves of bread, of two-tenth parts of fine flour they are, BAKED WITH LEAVEN, first-fruits to YAHWEH.”

Shavuot is about giving thanks for the blessings of YAHWEH, giving a voluntary offering, rejoicing, renewing the Covenant, NO WORK, remembering that we were slaves in Egypt, baking two loaves of bread with leaven as first-fruits (the wave portion of the two loaves was for the priest) and the pouring out of the RUACH HA’KODESH  (Holy Spirit.)

Giving of the RUACH HA’KODESH/Holy Spirit

Another important fact for this day is the promise that YESHUA gave before He ascended into heaven. YESHUA tells us in:

John 16:7

“But I say the truth to you. It is better for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper shall not come to you at all, but if I go, I shall send Him to you.”

It was important for YESHUA to ascend into heaven because He sent the RUACH HA’KODESH to dwell within us and verse 13 He tells us what the Holy Spirit will do:

“But when He comes, the Ruach (Spirit) of the Truth, He shall guide you into ALL TRUTH. For He shall not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears He shall speak, and He shall announce to you what is to come.”

The RUACH HA’KODESH will guide and us lead us into all truth; and show us how to obey the commandments just as Paul says in Romans 8 and Galatians 5. It is important to mention YESHUA’s promise of the Holy Spirit during the Festival of Shavuot because The Holy Spirit was poured out on His disciples on this very day.

 Acts 2:1-4 says:

“And when the day of SHAVUOT/Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one purpose in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the RUACH HA’KODESH/Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

The Book of Ruth is worth reading because it ties into Shavuot

 Ruth 1:22 says:

“So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country, of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of the BARLEY HARVEST (SHAVUOT).”

Another interesting connection with the Book of Ruth and Shavuot is the command that YAHWEH gave concerning the land, He says in:

Leviticus 19:9-10

“And when you reap the harvest of your land, do not completely reap the corners of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. And do not glean your vineyard or gather every grape of your vineyard, leave them for the poor and the stranger. I am YAHWEH your ELOHIM.”

Leviticus 23:22

“And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not make clean riddance of the corners of your field when you reap, neither shall you gather any gleaning of the harvest: you shall leave them for the poor, and to the stranger: I am YAHWEH your ELOHIM.”

Deuteronomy 24:19-22

“When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, do not go back to get it. Let it be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow, so that YAHWEH your ELOHIM might bless you in all the work of your hands. When you beat your olive trees, do not examine the branch behind you. Let it be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow. When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, do not glean behind you. Let it be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.”

YAHWEH made a specific command to not be greedy and clean the fields out when you reap the harvest because you are supposed to leave what is left for the poor, stranger, fatherless, and widow. The connection was made in Ruth, because Boaz did exactly as YAHWEH commanded:

Ruth 2:2-7 says:

 “And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean heads of grain AFTER him in whose sight I shall find favor. And she said unto her; Go, my daughter. And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field AFTER the reapers; as it turned out, she came to the part of the field belonging to Bo’az, the near relative of Elimelek.”

As we see Boaz was obedient to YAHWEH’s command from the Torah and Ruth who was a widow benefited by being able to glean over his fields and also find favor in the sight of Boaz. And a side note is that Boaz and Ruth were blessed to be in the lineage of YESHUA:

1 Chronicles 2:11-15

“Nashon brought forth Salma, and Salma brought forth Boaz; Boaz brought Obed, and Obed brought forth Yishai (Jessie); and Jessie brought forth Eliyab his first-born, and Abinadab the second, and Shim’a the third, Nethan’el the fourth, Raddai the fifth, Ostem the sixth, David the seventh.”

Let us prepare our hearts to get ready to rejoice before our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA and enjoy the last Festival of the spring/summer before it picks back up again in the fall. “On A-p-r-i-l 27th, achoti sister Aisha was immersed down here in Goshen Pass.  And we know that the children of Israel, before they left Mitsrayim (Egypt), there were plagues that YAHWEH brought upon the Mitsrites (Egyptians).  But while that was happening, the children of Israel were in Goshen.  I don’t know what the word Goshen means in Hebrew yet, but the children of Israel were protected in Goshen.  So the place she got immersed is like a safe haven for immersion.

We happened to stumble upon this stick when we were down here.  Completely etched.  When I looked at it, I just happened to pick it up to measure the depth of the water.  And when we looked at it, it reminded us of the stick of Ephraim and the House of Judah coming together as one stick.  When I looked upon it, I could actually see the Hebrew on the stick. It was already etched in here.

You have the Hebrew word Yad. The picture of the arm and the hand in Hebrew.  You have the modern form of Chet.  You have the modern form of Ayin, right here.  You have Waw, where if you turn it upside down the other way, you see Waw right there.  And then you have another Hey, a small Hey in the paleo Hebrew.  There’s a Taw, right here, in the paleo Hebrew, no that’s the otiot.  And then there’s Hey (similar but missing a line).  And this is the paleo Hey in Hebrew and then right beside it is the pictograph otiot of the spiritual man with his hands holding up.

So, this is all that we have seen thus far on here. But it is truly beautiful to see how our father YAHWEH works like it was meant for us to come here and pick up this stick.  From the place that Aisha got immersed … in Goshen Pass, the safe haven for immersion.  HaleluYAH!  Ah-mein!”

Should you eat mushrooms?

Mushrooms are a food that many people love to eat all the world, you can put them on hamburgers, on pizzas, or even sauté them with some onions. But the question arises that many of us never thought about and that is, should we be eating mushrooms?

Genesis 1:29

“And ELOHIM said, “See, I have given you every plant that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree who fruit yields seed, to you it is for food.”

Looking at the etymology of the original word using for “plant” is eseb in Hebrew which is Strong’s #6212 which means to glisten or be green, grass, herb. And Brown-Driver Briggs defines it as herb, herbage, grass, green plants.

So, based off of the Hebrew we can already rule out that mushrooms are not a grass and they are not green. Every herb or plant produces green leaves, for example even though potatoes and carrots grow underground they still produce green leaves and flowers above the ground. So, what is the definition of an herb?

An herb is defined as a PLANT with leaves, seeds, or flowers used for flavoring, food, medicine, or perfume. Any seed-bearing plant that does not have a woody stem and dies down to the ground after flowering.

So, mushrooms are not herbs either because they do not have leaves, they don’t contain seeds because they have spores, and they do not have flowers. Flowers that grow on the top of the plant is where the seeds come from. According to gardeningknowhow.com says “Where do seeds come from? They are the byproduct of a flower or flower-like structure. Sometimes seeds are encased in fruits, but not always. Seeds are the primary method of propagation in most plant families.

So, mushrooms are not herbs or grass, they are not green, and they do not have leaves, or flowers. And we see that YAHWEH said that we can eat every plant within the definition of the Hebrew word eseb.  So, are mushrooms considered plants? Many will be surprised to find out that that mushrooms are not considered plants, but rather a fungus and is closely related to mold and mildew. I know most people would be uncomfortable with putting mold or mildew on top of their pizzas, so what makes mushrooms any different?

www.news-medical.net defines mushrooms as fungi (fungus). Its biologically distinct FROM PLANT and animal derived foods. Wikipedia adds that mushrooms are the fleshly spore bearing fruiting body of a fungus. Reference.com says by the time a mushroom emerges above the ground, the fungus has usually been feeding in place for some time. Fungi send out specialized tendrils, or hyphae into the soil and plants around them to expose a maximum of surface area to the surrounding environment. These hyphae then secrete the necessary proteins directly into the edible manner. These proteins then do the work of breaking down PLANT AND ANIMAL TISSUES. And mushrooms are known to absorb the toxins in the soil. So, mushrooms eat dead organic matter of plants and animals which is something that plants do not do.

Are mushrooms plants?

According to livescience.com Tens of thousands of organisms, from mushrooms to mold to yeast, fall under the umbrella of fungi. Once thought simply to be plants, fungi have emerged as their own taxonomic kingdom. The various fungal species are diverse, with many unique properties: some innocuous, some useful and some harmful.

Classifying fungi

We already defined based on scripture that mushrooms are not plants, but here is a source that breaks down why?

As recently as the 1960s, fungi were considered plants. In fact, at that time all organisms were classified into only two groups or kingdoms: plants and animals. In a 1969 article published in the journal Science, ecologist Robert Whittaker explained the basis of this two-kingdom system. For many decades in history, the only living creatures’ humans observed around them were either the "rooted" plants that produced their own food, or motile animals that sought out their food. Thus, mobility and the method of gaining nourishment became the criteria for a system of classification. "The animals moved and plants didn't, and that's how fungi got stuck with the plants," said Tom Volk, a professor of botany at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. 

However, unlike plants, fungi do not contain the green pigment chlorophyll and therefore are incapable of photosynthesis. That is, they cannot generate their own food — carbohydrates — by using energy from light. This makes them more like animals in terms of their food habits. Fungi need to absorb nutrition from organic substances: compounds that contain carbon, like carbohydrates, fats, or proteins. 

Based on these and other properties, in 1969 Whittaker proposed that fungi become a separate kingdom as a part of a new five-kingdom system of classification. The proposed classification included a vast array of species. Among them, mushrooms, yeast, molds, slime molds, water molds, puffballs and mildews. 

Since then, the system of classification and the fungal kingdom have been further refined. For example, slime molds and water molds were shuttled off to a different kingdom. Today, the members of the kingdom Fungi are also known as the "true fungi."

What Is Mushroom an Example Of?

Mushrooms are heterotrophs. This means they rely on food sources in their surroundings for nutrients, such as, plant matter, ANIMAL WASTE and organic carbon. A mushroom’s source of food differs from plants because plants are autotrophic, or capable of creating their food from simple organic compounds.

I would like to add that nhphs.org (Nature Works) adds that mushrooms/fungi eat organic matter which are the REMAINS of organisms such as plants and ANIMALS and their waste products in the environment. Fungi release enzymes that decompose DEAD PLANTS AND ANIMALS, fungi absorb nutrients from the organism they are decomposing.

So, mushrooms appear to have the same characteristics as scavengers which we know are unclean for us to eat.

Cellular Structure: Mushrooms vs. Plants

Both mushrooms and plants have cell walls, but their difference lies in its composition. The cell wall of a plant is composed of cellulose, while the cell walls of a mushroom are created from complex polysaccharides: glucan and chitin. A mushroom’s cell wall protects it from predators and enhances its structural integrity.

How a Mushroom Consumes Nutrients

Mushrooms are dissimilar to plants in the way they consume food as well. Plants contain chlorophyll and undergo photosynthesis to sustain growth, but mushrooms do not function the same. Before nutrients can penetrate the cell wall, they must be digested. This means mushrooms are opposite humans in that their food must be digested before taking in nutrients. In this respect, only bacteria are like mushrooms, as their nutrient intake method is the same.

Mushroom Reproduction

If humans are examples of mammals, you may be wondering, “What is a mushroom an example of?” Like humans, mushrooms can produce sexually, which occurs when the spore of one mushroom meets with the spore of another, and a new mushroom is formed. However, mushrooms can also produce asexually. Sexual reproduction leads to greater genetic diversity in mushrooms.

Asexual reproduction involves fragmentation or budding of the mushroom, wherein the mushroom essentially copies itself. The recognizable cap of a mushroom, the part typically used in cooking, is vital to reproduction, as spores found in the gills (slits located under the cap) help create new mushrooms.

Mushrooms, for the most part, belong to either the Basidiomycota or Ascomycota phyla. Basidios are more common than ascos, as the former includes all mushrooms with gills. Ascos mushrooms feature a cup-like cavern in which the spores are contained.

How and Where Do Mushrooms Grow?

The best growth conditions for a mushroom depends on the species, but mushrooms typically do best in cool, damp areas that are rich in available nutrients. Locations where you might find wild mushroom growth include the base of trees, under pieces of wood, and gardens. Mushrooms can be further classified into types by growth patterns and preferred nutrients.

Should you vote? Who is your KING?

This is another very unpopular subject, but it’s another important one that needs to be discussed. We will discuss who is your brother? Should you appoint another to rule over you? Who is your king? Define the word king in Hebrew, and the common excuses used to vote.

Deuteronomy 17:14-15

“When you come to the land which YAHWEH your ELOHIM is giving you, and shall possess it and dwell in it, and you shall say, ‘Let me appoint a king over me like all the gentiles around me,’ you shall certainly appoint a king over you whom YAHWEH your ELOHIM shall choose. Appoint a king over you from among your brothers, you are not allowed to appoint a foreigner over you, who IS NOT YOUR BROTHER.”

Firstly, YAHWEH said that He would choose the King who would rule over us and He did that. He gave us His Son YESHUA to be our King who is amongst our brothers from the Tribe of Judah.

As we can see we are only in need in One KING and we submit to Him and not a man. So let us look at some Scriptures to support our King!

Micah 5:2 (Septuagint)

“And you, Bethlehem, house of Ephratah, are few in number to be reckoned among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you one shall come out to Me, to be a ruler in Yisra’el; and His goings out were from the beginning, even from the days of eternity (or days of the age).”

Revelation 19:16

“And on His robe and on His banner He has a name written: KING of KINGS (Melech ha’ Melechim) and Master of masters.”

Luke 1:32-33

“He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High. And YAHWEH ELOHIM shall give Him the throne of His father David. And He shall reign over the house of Jacob forever, and there shall be no end to His reign.”

Luke 23:1-2

“And the entire assembly of them, having risen up, led Him to Pilate, and began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this one corrupting the nation, and  forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Messiah, a King.”

John 18:36

“YESHUA answered, My reign is not of this world. If My reign were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews. But now My reign is not from here.”

King in Hebrew

King spelled using the Otiot (Signs) aka Pictograph which is the oldest form of Hebrew is spelled: Kaph, Lamed, Mem and is pronounced Melech (Meh-leck).

Mem means The water/word, the blood, Mightiness, chaos

Lamed means Leader and Teacher of the Flock, protect, steer, yoke, discipleship, to bind

Kaph means to bend, allow, open, tame, subdue, the work of YESHUA, The filling of The RUACH HA’KODESH

So when we combine these Hebrew words we get: The mighty blood of YESHUA washes us, yokes and binds us to Him as He protects, leads, guides and teaches the flock, and that we bow in submission to Him and allowing us to be filled with His RUACH HA’KODESH!

YAHWEH also said in Deuteronomy 17 “you are not allowed to appoint a foreigner over you, who IS NOT YOUR BROTHER.”

So how does scripture define who our brother and sister is?

Mathew 12:50

“For whoever does the desire of My Father who is in the heavens is My brother and sister and mother.”

Those in politics are not doing the will of YAHWEH as we know that most of their policies go against Him Torah and commands, which means when you vote to implement their policies, that you are appointing a foreigner to rule over you who is not your brother or sister in the faith. We are to walk with ELOHIM and not self-assimilate with the nations, meaning to be like them.

Nothing new under sun

Ecclesiastes 1:9-10

“What has been is what shall be, what has been done is what shall be done, and there is none new under the sun. Is there a matter of which it is said, “See, this is new? It was here already, long ago.”

1 Samuel 8:4-7

“And all the elders of Yisra’el gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah, and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now appoint for us a king to rule us like all the nations.” But the word was evil in the eyes of Samuel when they said, “Give us a king to rule us.” So Samuel prayed to YAHWEH. And YAHWEH said to Samuel, “Listen to the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from reigning over them.”

And the exact same thing is happening today with His Son YESHUA!

John 19:14-16

“And it was the Preparation of the Pesach, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, “See your King!” But they shouted, “Away, away, impale Him! Pilate said to them, “Shall I impale your King? The chief priests answered, “We have no king except Caesar!” At that time, then, he delivered Him to them to be impaled. And they took YESHUA and led away.”

Sirach 17:17-18

“For in the division of the nations of the whole earth He appointed a ruler over every people; but Yisra’el is the portion of YAHWEH; Whom being His first-born, He nourishes with discipline, and giving the light of His love, does not forsake him.”

All of the other people of the earth are appointed kings to rule over them, but those who worship and serve YAHWEH belong to Him and He alone is our Ruler! We don’t have to go out into the world to seek another king.

This is happening today in our modern society because many say that they follow YESHUA but they don’t trust Him enough as King, they trust in man and in their hearts are saying they have no king but the President. How does YAHWEH view this behavior as rejecting Him as King for a human king to rule over you when you vote?

1 Samuel 12:17

“Is today not the wheat harvest? Let me call to YAHWEH, so that He sends thunder and rain-know then and see that your EVIL is GREAT, which you have done in the eyes of YAHWEH, in asking for yourselves a king.”

The response we all need to have is this:

Judges 8:23

“But Gideon said to them, “I do not rule over you, nor does my son rule over you. YAHWEH rules over you.”

What Gideon said, completely matches what I quoted from the Book of Sirach is that YAHWEH rules over us and He gave us His Son to be our King, Savior, and Ruler!

Common excuses to vote!

Many believers say that if you don’t vote then you aren’t doing anything to help. One thing we have to remember is that YAHWEH is in control of all things and we depend on Him alone through prayer and trusting in Him.  Plus, there are millions of unbelievers who do not care to walk in the Torah of YAHWEH that will gladly vote in your place. Of course we pay our taxes and obey the laws of the land; however, we NEVER let their laws override the commands of YAHWEH!

.I often here the common phrases amongst believers as to why they vote, even if they don’t agree with everything a certain party does. The answer that is often given is that they are choosing between the lesser of the two evils. So, by their own admission they are choosing an ‘evil’ regardless. So my question is, when does YAHWEH ever approve of evil in any form?

2 Chronicles 7:14

“And My people upon whom My Name is called, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their EVIL ways, then I shall hear from the heavens, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Part of the process of YAHWEH healing His people is to turn from their evil ways! So how can you turn from your evil ways, if you are choosing between the lesser of the two evils, when it is still an evil? And YAHWEH said it was evil that they all chose to have a human king to rule over them.

Leviticus 19:2

“Speak to all the congregation of the children of Yisra’el, and say to them, ‘Be holy, for I YAHWEH your ELOHIM am holy.”

Isaiah 5:20

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (Parenthesis mine)

“Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness and lawlessness? (You cannot mix the Torah with the pagan policies of this world). And what fellowship has light with darkness? And what agreement has Messiah with Beliya’al? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever? And what union has the Tabernacle of ELOHIM with idols? For you are a Tabernacle of the living ELOHIM, as YAHWEH has said, ‘I shall dwell in them and walk among them, and I shall be their ELOHIM, and they shall be My people.” Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says YAHWEH, and do not touch what is unclean, and I shall receive you. And I shall be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me, says YAHWEH EL Shaddai.”

Let us come completely out of this world and be separate and stand up for our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA! May our Father YAHWEH bless you in YESHUA’s Name!

My Testimony!

When I was about 11 or 12 years old I remembered my parents always used to watch the old version of the 10 commandments movie, but one particular night when I was that age my parents were watching “YESHUA of Nazereth” the 1978 version starring Robert Powell. When it came to the scene of YESHUA being crucified I cried like a baby and could not understand why the people were treating Him that way. So after the movie was over, I went to sleep and that night I saw a white figure in the corner of my room, so me being a child I couldn’t figure out how someone got into my room so I covered my head with the blanket and when I pulled the blanket down to take a peek the presence was gone. I knew something was different, but in a good way. As a child I would look at the sky or sit in my room and think about how the earth came to be. I even at one point began writing a children’s Bible that I never finished, but I always knew who ELOHIM was in a way, but I could not express how I felt into words as a child. I remember whenever a thunderstorm would roll through my parents would cut off the TV and all the lights and we would all sit in one room watching the lightning flash and hearing the loud booms of the thunder; and my parents would say “ELOHIM (At the time they said Lord) is doing His work. I was just so amazed and how powerful our Creator was.

In elementary school and middle school I was a bit of a nerd and I loved to read and write and I stayed on honor roll. But of course I was mocked and got joked on by the popular crowd and eventually  I began to fall away from my academic ways to wanting to fit in with the crowd to become cool. And even despite me wanting to become cool, ELOHIM never allowed me to go so far. One example when I was 16 years old I worked at Congo Funnel Cake at King’s Dominion (Amusement park)  and there were two employees around my age working as cashiers and they said to me “If anyone buys a funnel cake and a soda it will come it will come to $3.65, and if they give you the exact change do not ring it up, you can take that money and put it in your pocket.” And they showed me the amount of money they made by doing this scam. So shortly after that a man comes to window and orders the funnel cake and the soda and he gives me the exact change, so I did as my “so-called” friends told me and I pocketed the money. Suddenly, I felt a tap on my left shoulder, so I turned and looked and it was the manager and she said to me “I saw what you did, don’t ever do that again!” My heart dropped because I thought I was going to jail, but I knew then that I could not do what most people could do. An action like this could have led to a life of crime, but it did not because I got chastised early by ELOHIM. It is amazing when you look back on your life and see His fingerprints the entire time, we just have to recognize it and give Him all the praises for it. I remember another time when I was a child that my friends and I were throwing rocks at a new car which is not right to do. We all went home and a little while later there was a knock on the door, it was the owner of the car and they said that I was the one throwing the rocks at the car and the rest of people who were with me got away with it, so I was the one who got in trouble and they did not. This is just two examples, but ELOHIM would always punish me immediately, so my fear of Him grew. So I can honestly say I couldn’t figure it out as a child but as I got older I really understood the scripture that says:

Hebrews 12:7-8

“If you endure discipline, ELOHIM is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom a father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline, of which all have become sharers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.”

I can honestly tell anyone that this is true, do not despise the spankings that you get when you try to do something that is outside the will of YAHWEH, because He is molding you into what He wants you to be.  However; when College came around I stepped into the world more but was still never wild.

I was never did drugs, never smoked weed, I was never  the type to party or go to clubs, but I did start drinking alcohol and and fell into fornication. My family grew up Seventh Day Adventist until we switched to Judaism later on in my life (which I’m no longer a part of), so I always knew about the Shabbat. We never turned on the TV or worked, but when I got older I started going to the movies Friday night with a lady or going to a friends house to play video games because I knew that was not allowed in my parents house. Looking back on my life I truly see ELOHIM working in every aspect of my life and I see His mercy for all the evil I did in His presence especially growing up with a foundation in the Shabbat.

When I started to work at the sheriff’s office in 2005 that is when things started to change for me. I went to college and graduated with a Marketing degree, so when I began working at the sheriff’s office I spent the first five years on the job as the  Public Information Officer,  which means I had an office and was working from 8:00-4:30.  I was the liaison between the sheriff and the media, I designed the brochures, newsletters, did the annual reports, took the pictures, and worked on the website and much more. The problem is that I trusted in man and was fearful of seeing what was going on around me. By this, I mean there were several transfer lists that would come out throughout the year, which meant that people would be transferred from a position they liked to possibly working night shift in the back of the jail with the inmates. This was something that kept every employee walking around on egg shells because even if a mistake was made an employee they knew that they would be stripped of their rank (demotion) or their position and be cast into the back of the jail to work.

Everytime the transfer list would come out I would get nervous and would run to see if my name was on the list and it never was. So after doing this and being nervous for five years, my worst fear  became a reality. In 2010, I was approached by the Undersheriff who was second in command and he said “Being that the canteen officer quit, we are going to put you in that position in the jail for only a few months until we find a replacement, then we will bring you back into the Public Information Officer position.” That few months that he promised me turned into 9 years.

But, this was all a part of YESHUA’s plan although I could not see it in the beginning. I was terrified going from an office position to suddenly being thrown into the back of the jail with inmates, especially with the mindset that I would never have to. The inmates knew I was a rookie and they approached me saying they were going to beat me up, they would call you outside of your name, and look for any flaw on you that they could expose so they could embarrass you to make you fold or quit. I want to be clear that not every inmate was that way at all, but I have to tell the truth of the experience and how it felt. I honestly did not know that people could be that disrespectful and cruel towards others, and I certainly did not know they had such little respect for authority. 

 When it was time to get off of work I would go home and figure out how to quit the job and it was so bad that when the alarm would go off in the morning that I would be upset, because I loathed going into that place. Every time I thought I had an opening to quit that job and start another it would always fall through. YESHUA quickly taught me that I had to lean and trust upon Him and after a few years I went from being afraid to being bold, I went from being quiet to spreading the gospel to the inmates five years later. YESHUA taught me how to trust in Him and not in man as I did in the beginning. I eventually saw that YESHUA was sharpening and strengthening me for the plans that He had for my life. If I could deal with being hated on that job by staff and inmates then I would be able to handle persecution for sharing the truth of His word today. Whenever we go through a situation it is for our good  so that we can be a complete vessel for Him. An example of the trust YESHUA was developing in me was one day I went inside of the dayroom where all the inmates were housed and the door slammed shut behind me. At this time there were no cameras available and none of the deputies were around to let me out, so when I went to the door to look for someone to let me out I heard the door buzz and it supernaturally opened on its own. I remember saying to myself “YESHUA is with me!”  Another example was one day I was on the loading dock letting a truck delivery in when my radio completely died. The central control room that controls the doors opened a door that I did not ask for and there was no way I could because my battery wasn’t working. Suddenly,  a deputy came by and he seemed concerned to help me out. He leaves and immediately a supervisor shows up and questions me about the doors and not wanting to hear that the situation was out of my control, the supervisor takes me to the office and writes me up unjustly. Sadly, I heard that the deputy that came to check on me was the one who reported me falsely. I was amazed that he would do that to me and then a week later I heard he got fired. My heart was grieved for him losing his job, I tell this story to show that YESHUA was showing me that I do not have to fight my battles because He sees everything. As you can see by now, my faith was growing stronger and stronger; however, ELOHIM still had much work to do on me.

As mentioned earlier, 2015 was the beginning of me spreading the gospel, yet I was being a hypocrite because of the women I was involved with outside of marriage. I had no clue what was about to happen to me. Wednesday’s were my early days because I had to be at work at 5 am and get off at 1 pm. So when I left the jail that day I called my dad and we went and had lunch together. After we finished eating we walked to our cars and talked for a little bit and my dad said to me concerning my fornicating ways “You know what son, you don’t know what that is holding you back from!” Then I realized that I was a hypocrite and it really hit me. But of course I did not stop immediately because I was having too much fun; however, those words always stuck with me. So a few months later I visited a female and left around 3 am and suddenly I did not feel so good about my actions, I said to myself “what is the point in all of this?” And that night, I vowed to give my life to YESHUA and stop living in sin. I never would have known that this was the point that He was leading me to, because once I vowed to give my life to YAHWEH and live for His Son YESHUA is when  He began to speak to me.

In the summer of 2015 I was leaving the grocery store called “Martins” before they closed, and this man stopped me, he was dark skinned with bright blue eyes and shorter than me and he said to me “You are special man!” By the time I digested what he said, I turned around and he was gone. I kept asking myself, what does he mean by that and why did he stop me of all people? Suddenly, I started to remember the white figure that I saw in my room that night when I was around 12 years old when I cried like a baby after watching YESHUA of Nazereth. 

In October of 2015, I prayed and said “Jesus Son of God, I trust You!” I did not get a response that night. When we were  going to the synagogue I  learned that the Son’s Name was YESHUA, but I was still saying Jesus as I was still unlearning the traditions of men, also the synagogues called our Father Adonai and not YAHWEH!  I did not know the Name YAHWEH until He revealed His Name to me several times that summer, everywhere I turned I saw YHWH on social media, in books, or heard it through people, but I was still using mainly God. But the very next night would be the change forever on why I call our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA and never interchanged the Names ever again.

 The next day I felt led to pray the same prayer using Their Names and I’m sure now it was the RUACH HA’KODESH speaking to me knowing what I know now. When I prayed using His Name saying YESHUA, Son of YAHWEH, I trust You!”  I had a supernatural experience that night. I was laying in bed and suddenly I was awakened out of my sleep and felt a power rush through me and I could not control my movements. The presence took my right hand and placed it on top of the lamp that was next to my bed and immediately thought YESHUA is The Light of the World and I cried! I knew He was real! I always believed, but this type of experience is unexplainable. An encounter with YESHUA like this changes your life forever, you go from believing in Him to thirsting for Him and wanting to completely live for Him. As I was driving to work the next day I was listening to Paul Wilbur’s “The Watchman” and when he sings the chorus he says “When you lift up your voices and call on ELOHIM He will come!” And i wept so much I could barely drive, because I literally called on His Name and He revealed Himself to me. I have had many supernatural experiences, I even had one recently in March of this year 2021 while recording live on Periscope before it closed, I was told by one of the viewers that they could see incense in my room, but the thing is I don’t burn incense nor do I have any candles in my room. Prayerfully, I’ll upload the short clip for everyone to see.

Then in November of 2015, I had a very vivid vision that I will never forget. I was walking down a path and there were thousands of people behind me but I could not see their faces. I kept going until it came to a dead end (which I believe was the time I was proclaiming Judaism and its traditions)so i looked around and then I saw another path and walked on it and all the people were still following me. The path led to an open field and there was a house out in the middle of nowhere but the window was open. So I approached the window and looked in, but did not see anyone, then suddenly this man approached and said “Enter in all you saints!” I was relieved and I went through the window and then four more entered in behind me and then the man’s face got really angry and he slammed the window shut on the rest who were trying to enter.  I will never forget the fierce anger  in his eyes as he slammed the window shut because once He did I immediately woke up. And my first thought was, what is a saint? We often use words in our daily life without knowing what they actually mean. For example, you will look at someone and say “You ain’t no saint!” We always know that the word is used to mean something good or holy.  So I immediately looked up the word and it said “One who has given his life to the One true ELOHIM and believes in His Son” or “a person acknowledged as holy or virtuous and typically regarded as being in heaven after death.” And Revelation 14:12 says

“Here are the endurance of the saints, here are those guarding the Commands of YAHWEH and the belief in YESHUA.”

 I was truly amazed at this and I knew that YESHUA was calling me out of this world to serve Him. It tied in perfectly because since giving up fornicating that summer I began to purge things out of my life. To this day I realize how narrow the path is and I continue to learn and grow and I just want to be found worthy to stand before The Son of Man.

I immediately began to seek His face more and began unlearning Judaism.  However, it took me 4 years to actually commit and serve Him full-time as I felt He was telling me. I was still working at the sheriff’s office but I was still writing and doing Periscope live stream videos when I got home. Things on the job began to worsen and I felt it was happening to force me out of my comfort zone to leave. My 8 hour position turned into a 13-16 hour position five days a week on top of being drafted once or twice a month on the weekend which would include night shift. I still refused to work on Shabbat, so I ended up working nights after the sunset or on Sunday and still have to  go right back to the brutal hours for five more straight days.

One day I was tested by ELOHIM to see what I would do whether I would completely walk with Him or not. So a mandate went out to the entire jail telling all the employees that there was going to be a mandatory draft list which included working on the Shabbat due to the fact that the jail was so short staffed. I said “I will not work on the Shabbat, but will work any other day you need!” So sergeants and captains got involved and eventually I got called into the Major’s office and he and a captain told me it was necessary that I work on the shabbat or risk being fired. I told them that I would not work on the Shabbat for them or the  president. And a comment was made by one of them  that one of the judges in the courthouse was a Jew and he works on the Shabbat if the court case goes over its time and I said “I’m not him! I’m going to serve YAHWEH fully and obey His commands!” Everything that I have shared about how YESHUA was molding me to die to self and live for Him was for moments like these, that I would stand for Him no matter what and trust Him. I did not get fired and ELOHIM blessed me for standing strong for Him.

So I began to pray to ELOHIM if He wanted me to stay at the job or leave the job to serve Him. And everytime I asked Him, He responded immediately, but I pulled a Gideon! Remember, Gideon said “YAHWEH if it is You let the dew be on the fleece and not the ground” and it happened, then Gideon said “Let the dew be on the ground and not the fleece” and that happened too. The problem is that I had several confirmations, but I was scared to leave because of bills and a mortgage that I still have to pay to this day. So my faith was strong, but at this point it wasn’t strong enough, though I want to be clear we cannot do anything on our own strength we need the RUACH HA’KODESH!

In 2016 I prayed and asked ELOHIM if He wanted me to quit and on my way to work there was heavy traffic and I ended up getting  rear ended, so the police got involved and I was out for about 5 hours and eventually went to work, and everyone said to me “what are you doing here? You got in an accident!” I have always been a loyal person and did not want to let anyone down. That was my first clue that YAHWEH had other plans for me.

The summer  of 2018, I prayed to YAHWEH if He wanted me to stay or leave the job and immediately I ended up with the flu and was out of work for two weeks. I prayed again and ended up with a serious sinus infection and was out for another week. This is significant because I always went to work and was on time, when I left I had over 1100 hours of sick leave, so the point that I’m making is that when I prayed something would always happen to prevent me from going to work.

Then comes the big one on October 15th of 2018, we had just finished celebrating Sukkot/The Feast of Tabernacles a few days earlier when we are required to live  outside in tents for 7 days.  So when I went back to work I saw things on the job had gotten worse and it reminded me of the misery I felt on the job and began to think of the peace and connection I felt with ELOHIM dwelling in tents and focusing on Him. So that night I prayed  when I got home from work and said “Father YAHWEH in YESHUA’s Name I see that you want me to quit, so do you want me to walk out or do you want me to put in a notice?” That night I had a vivid dream of me driving to work, but I forgot my uniform and my equipment. 

Then the scene switched and  I was driving my car and it completely died on me so that I could no longer drive it, so I walked home. The very next morning on the 16th of October, 2018 I got on the highway to go to work and there was heavy traffic again, just like it was when I got rear ended in 2016. It felt like deja-vu. So I merged onto the off ramp and happened to look in my rear view mirror when I saw a van coming at me full speed! He hit me so hard that the car flew three lanes across traffic without getting hit by another car. The force of the impact was so hard that I could not stop the car because the brakes stopped working. I had no clue how far I was going to go before the car would stop. When the car finally stopped, I got out and saw that the rear end was completely smashed, the window was blown out and the car was totaled. Then I realized that the dream the night before was a prophecy. This car accident kept  me out from October 16th until November 12th.

At this point the answer was clear for me, but I still went back to work and the final confirmation happened a few months later. I went in that morning and  felt like i shouldn’t have been there and I already knew this,  so I prayed for the final time and asked yet again if I should leave. And when I got inside the jail literally 10 minutes after praying an inmate approached me from the “Special housing unit” these are the inmates that everyone thought was crazy. And he said to me “Powell, just do it!” I said “Do what?” He said “You already know, just do it!” I said to myself there is no way that he would have known my situation or my prayer and I knew that YESHUA was speaking through him to deliver the answer to me. I was so excited and knew what I had to do.

 I remember my mom asking me when she wanted to know what I was going to do and I told her “I’m going to quit because I feel like if I ask ELOHIM again then I will get hit by an 18 wheeler and will not get another chance.” So in June 2019 I quit and have been working for YESHUA ever since then. Our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA are so merciful and Their mercy endures forever! He loves us even though we have strayed and sinned against Him, yet He calls us out of the world to serve Him and that He can live in us. If you feel The RUACH HA’KODESH speaking to you and you are delaying to give your life to Him, I encourage you to do so because I am a living testimony. Answer the call and you will not regret it, because one of my fears was, what if I got so complacent with the world and its ways that I never would have left. We should all want to be on YAHWEH’s time and His economy versus that of the world. Let us all die to self and live for YESHUA who died for us and rose again!

First-Fruits 2021

We have already begun the spring moedim the Appointed Times of our ELOHIM and we just completed celebrating Pesach and The Feast of Unleavened Bread. Now coming up on April 18th will be First-Fruits, which is the day of counting the omer the 50 day count to Shavuot. It’s not a Shabbat so you do not have to take off work this day.

Leviticus 23:9-16

“And YAHWEH spoke to Moses, saying, “speak to the children of Yisra’el, and you shall say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest. ‘And he shall wave the sheaf before YAHWEH, for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Shabbat the priest waves it. ‘And on that day when you shall wave the sheaf, you shall prepare a male lamb a year old, a perfect one, as a burnt offering to YAHWEH, and its grain offering: two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to YAHWEH, a sweet fragrance, and its drink offering: one-fourth of a hin of wine. ‘And you do not eat bread or roasted grain or fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your ELOHIM-a Law forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. And from the morrow after the Shabbat, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, you shall count for yourselves, seven completed Sabbaths. Until the morrow after the seventh Shabbat you count fifty days, then you shall bring a new grain offering to YAHWEH.”

Aviv in Hebrew means the month of green ears of barley when the barley is ripening. The children of Yisra’el would take the first-fruits of the barley harvest which is the earliest and best of their crops and tie them into a bundle and bring it to the high priest. The high priest would then wave the sheaf (omer) before YAHWEH to accept the future crops and then begin the 50 day count to Shavuot. They were not allowed to put the sickle to grain nor eat any of the harvest until after this ceremony was completed. This reminded the children of Yisra’el that ELOHIM gave them this land and all the harvest belongs to Him.

As for the burnt offering that was made, we know that YESHUA is the Lamb of YAHWEH who takes away the sins of the world and offered Himself with His blood and not the blood of bulls and goats. It is important to see what YESHUA’s blood atonement had done for us and now intercedes for us as the High Priest who does not have to make continual slaughter offerings like the human high priest because He was sinless and unlike the human high priest He doesn’t die; therefore, He makes continual intercession for us.  YESHUA fulfills the animal offerings for us with His blood and the sweet fragrance of the burnt offering that YAHWEH required, and Paul mentions this:

Ephesians 5:2

“And walk in love, as Mashiach (Messiah) also has loved us, and gave Himself for us, a gift and an offering to YAHWEH for a SWEET-SMELLING FRAGRANCE.”

The First-fruits confusion

Passover was on the 6th and the 7th was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (15th day of 1st month) and we know that YESHUA rose on the 3rd day. The problem is that we have all been taught, myself included, that the second day after Pesach is first-fruits the day YESHUA rose as our first-fruits. YESHUA DID rise on the third day to fulfill scripture; however, He didn’t have to be resurrected on that day to fulfill it. Reading Paul’s words we see the words “first-fruit” and automatically make the connection to the first-fruits in Leviticus 23:20. YESHUA is the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:20 meaning that those who are in the grave that lived for YESHUA will be resurrected as He was.

1 Corinthians 15:20-22

“But now Messiah has been raised from the dead, and has become the first-fruits of those having fallen asleep. For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a Man. For as all die in Adam, so also all shall be made alive in Messiah.” 

1 Thessalonians 4:16

“Because the Adon (Master) Himself shall come down from the heavens with a shout, with the voice of a chief messenger/angel, and with the trumpet of ELOHIM, and the dead IN Mashiach shall rise first. Then we, the living who are left over, shall be caught in the clouds to meet the Adon in the air…”

Enoch 49: 1-3

“For wisdom is poured out like water, and esteem failed not before Him for eternity. For He is mighty in all the secrets of righteousness, and unrighteousness shall disappear as a shadow, and have no continuance; because the ELECT ONE (YESHUA) stands before YAHWEH of hosts, and His esteem is forever and ever, and His might unto all generations. And in Him dwells the spirit of wisdom, and the spirit which gives insight, and the spirit of understanding and of might, and the spirit of THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN ASLEEP IN RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

So do we observe first-fruits the counting of the omer during the Feast of Unleavened Bread?

Leviticus 23 reveals that YAHWEH never overlapped or mixed the Feasts. YAHWEH separates them by saying “AND then YAHWEH spoke to Moshe”. Calendars today are lumping First-Fruits in with the Feast of Unleavened Bread; therefore beginning the count too early, while the observance of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is still going. 

For example most started counting the omer (the 50 day count to Shavuot/Pentecost) on March 28th, however  we are to begin counting on April 18th after The Feast of Unleavened Bread is completed to arrive at the 15th day of the THIRD MONTH which is June 6th on our Gregorian calendars. Keep the 15th day of the 3rd month in mind because the Scriptures below will show that is the day when Shavuot is to be celebrated.

The Appointed Times are separated and do not mix or overlap!

So Passover is on the 14th day of 1st month (Abib), feast of unleavened bread is on the 15th-21st of 1st month (Abib). And First-Fruits is on the 26th day of the 1st month of (Abib) AFTER the Feast of Unleavened bread is completed; then that morrow after the Sabbath is first-fruits which is April 18th.  First-Fruits is tied to Shavuot so it cannot overlap with The Feast of Unleavened Bread, because they are separate.

 Scriptural Timeline:

The Israelites left Egypt on 15th day of 1st month which is the first day of the feast of unleavened bread:

Exodus 12:17

“And you shall guard the Matzah (Feast of Unleavened Bread 15th Day of 1st Month), for on this SAME DAY I brought your divisions out of the land of Egypt. And you shall guard this day throughout your generations, an everlasting Law.” 

And then exactly TWO MONTHS later on the 15th Day of the 3rd MONTH the Israelites arrive at Sinai.

Exodus 19:1

“In the THIRD MONTH after the children of Yisra’el had come out of the land of Egypt, on this day (on that same day 15TH) they came to the Wilderness of Sinai.” For they departed from Rephidim, and had come to the Wilderness of Sinai, and camped in the wilderness. So Yisra’el camped there before the mountain.”

So basically, if we don’t start the count of First-Fruits on the 26th day of 1st month to get to the 15th day of the 3rd month, then Shavuot the beginning of the barley harvest will be celebrated a few weeks  too soon, before the Israelites even entered into Sinai. The Book of Jubilees confirms this:

Jubilees  shows us that the children of Yisra'el arrived on the 15th because YAHWEH spoke to Moses on the next day on the 16th after they camped when arriving.

Jubilees 1:1

“And it came to be in the first year of the children of Yisra’el coming out of Egypt, in the third month, on the sixteenth day of the month, that ELOHIM spoke to Moses…”

So do we know when to celebrate Shavuot?

Many will say that there is no date given in scripture to celebrate Shavuot, which is why there is so much confusion surrounding it. However, the Book of Jubilees which was discovered with the Dead Sea Scrolls alongside books like the Old Testament tell us exactly when to observe it.

 Jubilees 15:1

“And in the fifth year of the fourth week of this Jubilee, in the THIRD MONTH, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH (15th Day) Abram celebrated the Festival of the First-Fruits (Shavuot) of the grain harvest.” 

The Book of Enoch says there are only 30 days in a month; therefore, the middle of the month is the 15th day. Plus we have earlier witnesses in scripture that testifies to this when we look at the flood during the days of Noah.

Genesis 7:24

“And the waters were mighty on the earth, one hundred and fifty days.”

5 months X 30 days in a month= 150 days

Jubilees 16:13

“And she (Sarah) bore a son in the THIRD MONTH. And in the MIDDLE OF THE MONTH (15th Day) at the time of which YAHWEH had spoken to Abraham, on the Festival of the First-Fruits (Shavuot) of the Harvest, Isaac was born.”

So we see that Abraham celebrated Shavuot also known as First-Fruits in Jubilees because  the two are connected by the 50 day counting of the omer. The messenger/angel goes into great detail about the two-fold meaning of The Festival of Shavuot and First-Fruits together:

Jubilees 6:15-21

“And He gave to Noah and his sons a sign that there should not be a flood on the earth again. He placed a rainbow in the cloud for a sign of the everlasting Covenant that there should not be a flood again on the earth to destroy it all the days of the earth. For this reason it is ordained and written on the tablets of the heavens, that they should celebrate the FESTIVAL OF SHAVUOT IN THIS MONTH ONCE A YEAR to renew the Covenant every year.” And this Festival was CELEBRATED IN THE HEAVENS from the day of creation till the days of Noah:twenty-six Jubilees and five weeks of years. And Noah and his sons observed it for seven Jubilees and one week of years, till the day of Noah’s death. And from the day of Noah’s death his sons forsook it until the days of Abraham, and they ate blood“But Abraham observed it, and Isaac, and Jacob, and his children observed it up to your days, and in your days the children of Yisra’el forgot it until you celebrated it anew on this mountain. And you shall command the children of Yisra’el to observe this Festival in all their generations for a Command unto them; one day in the year in this month (3rd MONTH) they shall celebrate the Festival. For it is the Festival of Shavuot AND THE FEAST OF FIRST-FRUITS: This Feast is twofold and double nature: according to what is written and engraved concerning it, celebrate it.” 

The Festival of Shavuot is the same festival Abraham celebrated and was called the Festival of First-Fruits because they are connected and twofold and we have to remember that we slaves in Egypt. Which I’ll cover as Shavuot approaches for us to celebrate, ELOHIM willing. 

Jubilees 44:1-8

“And Yisra’el took his journey from Haran from his house on the new moon of the THIRD MONTH, and he went on the way of Beersheba, and he offered an offering to the ELOHIM of his dad Isaac on the seventh of this month. And Jacob remembered the dream that he had seen at Beyth El, and he feared to go down to Egypt. And while he was thinking of sending word to Joseph to come to him, and that he would not go down, he remained there seven days, if it came to be he should see a vision as to whether he should remain or go down. And he celebrated the HARVEST FESTIVAL OF THE FIRST-FRUITS (15th day of 3rd month)  with old grain, for in all the land of Canaan there was not a handful of seed, for scarcity of food was over all the beasts and cattle and birds, and also over man.” And on the sixteenth (16th) YAHWEH appeared to him, and said to him, Jacob, Jacob.” YAHWEH spoke to Jacob on the 16th after he celebrated Shavuot on the 15th day of 3rd month just as we saw in Jubilees 1:1 when YAHWEH spoke to Moses on the 16th day after they arrived in the Wilderness of Sinai on the 15th day of the 3rd month.

So if we count the 50 days starting on April 18th (on our Gregorian calendar) which is the 26th day of the 1st month on YAHWEH's calendar, then we will arrive in the middle of the 3rd MONTH (15th Day) when Noah and his sons celebrated it and also Abraham and his sons. So Shavuot will be observed this year on June 6th a NO WORK day. It is important to get the exact days of YAHWEH's appointed times because this is what the messenger/angel says concerning the days of YAHWEH:

Jubilees 6:32-35

“And you shall command the children of Yisra’el that they observe the years according to this reckoning: THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR DAYS (364 days), and these shall constitute a complete year, and they shall not disturb its time from its days and from its Festivals; for all shall fall out in them according to their witness, and they shall not leave out any day nor disturb ANY FESTIVALS. But if they neglect and do not observe them according to His Command, then they shall disturb all their seasons, and the years shall be dislodged from this order; and they shall NEGLECT THEIR LAWS. And all the children of Yisra’el shall forget, and shall not find the path of the years, and shall forget the new moons, and seasons, and Shabbats, and they shall go astray as to all the order of the years. For I know, and from this time on I shall declare it to you, and it is not of my own devising; for the Book is written before me. And on the tablets of the heavens the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the FESTIVALS OF THE COVENANT and WALK ACCORDING TO THE FESTIVAL OF THE GENTILES after their straying and after their ignorance."

Enoch 74:12-14

“And the sun and the stars bring in all the years exactly, so that they do not advance or delay their position by a single day unto everlasting; but complete the years with PERFECT JUSTICE IN THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR DAYS. In three years there are one thousand and ninety-two days ( 1,092 days divided by 3= 364), and in five years; one thousand eight hundred and twenty days  1, 820 days divided by 5=364), so that in eight years there are two thousand nine hundred and twelve days ( 2, 912 days divided by 8=364.)

What are we to do on it First Fruits?

As we read in Leviticus 23 that the Israelites were not to eat any grain of the new harvest until they brought their initial crops (first-fruits) and bring the barley sheaf to the priest so he could wave it before YAHWEH to accept the future crops and begin counting down the 50 days to the next Appointed Time which is The Festival of Shavuot aka The Festival of First Fruits aka Pentecost (50 in Greek).

Leviticus 23:12-14

“And on that day when you wave the sheaf, you shall prepare a male lamb a year old, a perfect one, as a burnt offering to YAHWEH, and its grain offering: two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to YAHWEH, a sweet fragrance, and its drink offering:one-fourth of a hin of wine.And you do not eat bread or roasted grain or fresh grain until the same day that you have brought AN OFFERING to your ELOHIM.”

Even if we wanted to do a burnt offering we cannot because we have no temple, we are not in Jerusalem, and we know that YESHUA gave Himself up once and for all with His own blood and not the blood of bulls and goats. This is what Paul says about how we can also apply this by living holy lives and being obedient to our ELOHIM!

Romans 12:1

“I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of ELOHIM, to present your bodies a LIVING OFFERING-holy, well pleasing to ELOHIM-your reasonable worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of ELOHIM.”

1 Peter 2:4-5

“Drawing near to Him, a living Stone-rejected indeed by men, but chosen by YAHWEH and precious-you also, as living stones, are being built up, A SPIRITUAL HOUSE, a holy priesthood, to OFFER UP SPIRITUAL SLAUGHTER OFFERINGS acceptable to YAHWEH through YESHUA ha’Mashiach.”

Sirach 35:1

“He who guards the Law brings offerings enough; he who guards the Command offers a peace offering.”

Let us present ourselves as a living sacrifice and keep the commandments so that we offer up spiritual peace offerings to our ELOHIM; and begin the 50 day count to Shavuot the beginning of the barley harvest.

Prophecy of YESHUA in Psalms 22

Last week we discussed that YESHUA is The Son of YAHWEH and the importance of accepting Him as your Savior before it is too late. Today, I would like to go over a prophecy concerning Him that was written by David in Psalms.

Mark 12:35-37

“And YESHUA responding said, while teaching in the Sanctuary, “How is it that the scribes say that HA’MASHIACH (The Messiah) is the Son of David? David himself said by the  RUACH HA’KODESH (The Holy Spirit), ‘ YAHWEH said to My Master, “Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for you feet.” David himself calls Him My Master. In what way then is He his Son? And the large crowd heard Him gladly.”

Psalms 110:1

“A psalm, of David.  YAHWEH said to My Master, Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your foot.”

So we see that David prophesied concerning YESHUA in the Book of Psalms being led by the RUACH HA’KODESH, and shows us that David already knew that YESHUA was The Son of YAHWEH and even calls YESHUA His Master before He even became flesh and walked on the earth. This again, perfectly matches with what YESHUA spoke of in Luke.

Luke 24:44

“And He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all have to be filled that were written in the Torah of Moses and prophets and the PSALMS concerning Me.”

Now that we see that David was writing prophecies about YESHUA in the psalms we will break down Psalms 22 to show the details concerning YESHUA while being guided by The RUACH HA’KODESH. I will be pointing out the verses that jump out to me concerning prophecy and the fullfilment scriptures.

Psalms 22:1 (Aramaic)

“My EL, My EL, why have You Let me Live…”

Mathew 27:46 (Aramaic)

“And about the ninth hour YESHUA cried out with a loud voice saying, “Eli, Eli, lamah shebaqtani? That is, “My EL, My EL, why have you Spared Me?”

Mark 15:34

“And at the ninth hour YESHUA cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lamah shebaqtani? Which is translated My EL, My EL, why have You forsaken Me?”

Psalms (continued) verse 6 reveals something very interesting

“But I am a worm, and no man…”

The word for worm used here is the Hebrew word “towla” #H8438 which means worm, scarlet stuff, crimson, the dye made from the dried body of the female of the worm “coccus ilicis”. There is a hidden meaning contained in the word choice of worm here which ties in beautifully of what YESHUA did for us. I’ll use a article from randomgroovybiblefacts.com  that explains this perfectly:

The account is of extreme importance, for it actually plays a vital role in understanding how the virgin birth of the Messiah YESHUA is a necessity according to the Torah. This is another teaching in itself, but it’s mentioned here to see the importance of this event and the inclusion of the crimson thread in a Messianic perspective.  The crimson thread and is relation to the Messiah build further in yet another passage.

This is extremely significant to the reader, for here we see Messiah making the claim that He is not to be understood merely as what He is in appearance-a man- but rather, what His true purpose entails. The Kermes Vermilio has to DIE in order to be of any use to humans. The crimson color cannot be extracted without the DEATH of the worm. In the same way, Messiah’s purpose in His first coming was ultimately to DIE so that man could benefit from His life-long faithfulness to the Father in all things.

Furthermore, the “towla/kermes vermilio also must sacrifice itself to bear offspring. It cannot bear offspring without dying, for it forever attaches itself to the tree in order to protect its young while they wait to come forth at their proper time. 

 Additionally, these young feed on their mother for initial sustenance before going forth into the world. These facts parallel the Messiah, who had to die in order to see a harvest. It is Him who  we are told to partake of symbolically in the Passover meal, as well.

I wanted to list the scripture John 6 that he is referencing in the article:

John 6:54-58

“He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood possesses everlasting life, and I shall raise him up on the last day. For My flesh is truly food, and My blood is truly drink. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood stays in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me shall live because of Me. This is the bread which came down out of the heavens, not as your ancestors ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread shall live forever.”

The fact that this sacrificial aspect of the worm happens on wood is itself intensely significant. The death of the Messiah took place on the wood of the cross, and the declaration of ANOKEE TOLAAT (I am a worm) here in Psalm 22:6 can be taken as prophetic of when He was affixed to the cross, as the passage goes on to speak of hands being nailed.

Therefore,  the word as it appears in the passage from Psalms 22:6 could be said to really promote the idea of a sacrificial worm connected to the cross. This factor maintains the link of the Messiah’s purpose of giving everything He had to bring forth seed for the Father, and doing it sacrificing Himself for our own future. Therefore, when one reads that Messiah called Himself a “worm” it is far more than a statement of self-pity, but a powerful proclamation of His astounding purpose for the redemption of mankind. He took upon Himself the nature of a seemingly insignificant insect that gave of itself for man (the dye) and for the future of its own offspring. The worm is a portrait of a selfless act of love and beautiful gift given willingly by the Messiah YESHUA to His sheep.

I wanted to comment on what was written in the article concerning YESHUA comparing Himself to an insignificant insect that would give life reminded me of Isaiah 53:2

“For He grew up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or splendour that we should look upon Him, nor appearance that we should desire Him…”  

And just like the worm YESHUA’s death brought forth life for us all because we are His children, the same way the offspring of the worm fed off of her when she died so that they could live.

Psalms 22: 6 (continued)

“A reproach of men, an despised by the people”

Isaiah 53:3

“Despised and rejected by men, a man of pains and knowing sickness. And as one from whom the face is hidden, being despised, and we did not consider Him.”

Verse 14

“And all My bones have been spread apart; My heart has become like wax; it has melted in the midst of My inward parts.” When He was lifted up on the stake the weight of His body pulled down on His hands and wrists that were nailed dislocating His shoulders and elbows.

John 19:34

“But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and instantly blood and water came out.” Many believe that YESHUA suffered from a ruptured heart which is why He said that His heart has become like wax and melted in the midst of His inward parts. (apu.edu) adds: Because of the decrease of oxygen from difficulty exhaling causes damage to the tissues and the capillaries begin leaking watery fluid from the blood into the tissues. This results in a build-up of fluid around the heart (pericardial effusion) and lungs. 

Psalms 69:21

“And they gave me gall for my food, and for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink…”

John 19:28-29

“After this YESHUA,  knowing that all had been accomplished, in order that the Scripture might be accomplished said, ‘I thirst!” A bowl of vinegar stood there, and they filled a sponge with vinegar, put it on hyssop, and held it to His mouth.”

Psalms 22: 7-8 and verse 16

“All those who see Me mock Me; they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, He trusted in YAHWEH, let Him rescue Him!” Verse 16 For dogs have surrounded Me; a crowd of evil ones have encircled Me…”

Mathew 27:38-43

“Then two robbers were impaled with Him, one on the right and another on the left. And those passing by were blaspheming Him, shaking their heads, and saying, “You who destroy the Tabernacle and build it in three days, save Yourself! If you are the Son of ELOHIM, come down from the stake.” And likewise the chief priests, and the scribes and elders, mocking, said, “He saved others-He is unable to save Himself. If He is the King of Yisra’el, let Him now come down from the stake, and we shall believe Him. He trusted in ELOHIM, let Him rescue Him now if He desires Him, for He said, ‘I am the Son of ELOHIM.”

“I have been poured out like water…”

“Therefore I give Him a portion among the great, and He divides the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His being unto death…”

Mathew 26:27-28

“And taking the cup, and giving thanks, He gave it to them, saying,  “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood, that of the Renewed Covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

Mathew 27:50

“And YESHUA cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit.”

“And YESHUA cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last.”

“And having impaled Him…” Verses 37-38 “And they put up over His head the written charge against Him: THIS IS YESHUA, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Then two robbers were impaled with Him, one on the right and another on the left.”

“And when they had come to the place called Golgotha, they impaled Him there, and the evil-doers, one on the right and the other on the left.”

“And bearing His stake, He went out to the so-called Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, where they impaled Him, and two others with Him, one on this side and one on that side, and YESHUA in the middle.”

“They divide My garments among them, and for My raiment they cast lots.”

“And having impaled Him they divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be filled what was spoken by the prophet, “They divided My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.”

“And when they impaled Him, they divided His garments, casting lots for them, what each one should take.”

“And YESHUA said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.”

“Then the soldiers, when they had impaled YESHUA, took His outer garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and the inner garment. But the inner garment was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. So they said to each other, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it- whose it shall be,” in order that the Scripture might be filled which says, “They divided My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.” The soldiers therefore indeed did this.”

“I count all My bones…”

John 19:33

“Therefore the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who was impaled with Him, but when they came to YESHUA and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs.”

“They look, they stare at Me.”

John 19:37

“And again another Scripture says, “They shall look on Him whom they pierced.”

Luke 23: 47-48

“And the captain, seeing what took place, praised ELOHIM, saying “Truly this Man was righteous!” And when all the crowds who had gathered to the sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away.”

Psalms 22:22

“I make known Your Name to My brothers…”

John 17:6

“I have revealed Your Name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have guarded Your Word.” Verse 11 “And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, guard them in Your Name which You have given Me, so that they might be one, as We are.”

Psalms 22:23

“You who revere YAHWEH, praise Him! All you seed of Jacob, esteem Him, and revere Him, all you seed of Yisra’el! For He has not despised Nor hated the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him…”

Isaiah 53:10

“But YAHWEH was pleased to crush Him, He laid sickness on Him, that when He made Himself an offering for guilt, He would see a seed (Yisra’el), He would prolong His days and the pleasure of YAHWEH prosper in His hand.”

Psalms 22:27-29

“Let all the ends of the earth remember and turn to YAHWEH, and all clans of the nations bow themselves before You. For the reign belongs to YAHWEH and He is ruling over the nations. All the fat ones of the earth shall eat and bow themselves; all who go down to the dust bow before Him, even he who did not keep alive his own life.”

Philippians 2:9-11

“YAHWEH, therefore, has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of YESHUA every knee should bow, of those in the heavens, and of those on the earth, and of those under the earth, and every tongue should confess that YESHUA HA’MASHIACH is Master, to the esteem of YAHWEH the Father.”

The prophecies pertaining to YESHUA are overwhelming and I pray that if anyone has not accepted Him as the Son of YAHWEH and our Savior, that you do so today before it’s too late!
