Do not remarry while your ex-wife or husband is living!

The topic of marriage and divorce is not a popular topic by any means because no one wants to be alone, and I can understand that. But truly, we are never alone because we are married to YESHUA, He is our husband and we are the bride. The issue of whether you can remarry after you have gotten divorced is a topic that many disagree on. I have already done a video on this in the 10 commandment series, but I felt it necessary to add a few other things to prayerfully make things clearer. We will discuss whether you can marry another spouse after you are divorced (divorce and remarriage), can you go back to your first husband or wife after you have left the second marriage, engagement/betrothal, and the importance of marital vows.

Marriage is binding as long as your spouse is alive!

Once you are married you have become “one flesh” with your husband or wife, and many believe that just because they got divorced that it dissolves the “one flesh” union of that marriage, and that they are free to marry another spouse.

Malachi 2:14-16

“And you said, “Why”? Because YAHWEH has been witness between you and the WIFE of your youth, against whom you have acted treacherously, though she is your companion and the WIFE OF YOUR COVENANT. And did he not make one? And He had the remnant of the Spirit? And what is the one? He seeks a seed of ELOHIM. So you shall guard your spirit, and let none act treacherously against the wife of his youth. For I HATE DIVORCE,” said YAHWEH ELOHIM of Yisra’el, “and the one who covers his garment with cruelty,” said YAHWEH of hosts.”

Notice how YAHWEH says through Malachi that she is the WIFE OF YOUR COVENANT? This means that marriage is a covenant between you and YAHWEH. And what is expected when a covenant is made?

Hebrews 9:16-17

“For where a COVENANT IS, it is necessary for the DEATH OF THE COVENANTED ONE TO BE ESTABLISHED. For a covenant over those DEAD IS FIRM, since it is never valid while the COVENANTED ONE IS LIVING.”

We know a covenant has been made during a marriage; therefore, this principal can applied here. So in order for a covenant to cease means that there has to be a death, so if you are married to the husband or wife of your covenant that means that you are bound until your spouse dies, because you cannot remarry another while the other spouse is living. Once there is a death you are freed from the Torah to remarry another.

Proverbs 2:17

“Who forsakes the companion of her youth (covenant spouse), and has forgotten the COVENANT of your ELOHIM.”

1 Corinthians 7:10

“And to the married I command, NOT I, but the ADON (YESHUA): a wife SHOULD NOT separate from a husband. But if she is indeed separated, let her remain UNMARRIED or be restored to favor with her husband, and let a husband NOT SEND AWAY A WIFE.”

 Paul says this command is from YESHUA and not himself that a wife should not separate from her husband, but if she leaves him then she CANNOT remarry and that a man should NOT divorce his wife. But if she works things out with her husband then she will be restored back to him. You cannot leave the marriage and go marry another person because it literally is “Till death do you part!” Married couples are bound by the Torah as long as their spouse is alive. Further proof of this is in:

1 Corinthians 7:39

“A wife is BOUND by Torah as long as HER HUSBAND LIVES, and if her husband dies, she is free to be married to whom she desires, only in the ADON.”

I just want to point out that after the husband dies, Paul says marry another only in the Adon YESHUA meaning that they would have to be a believer. As we already know that we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers.

Romans 7:1-3

“Or do you not know, brothers-for I speak to those knowing the Torah-that the Torah rules over man as long as he lives? For the married woman has been bound by Torah to the LIVING HUSBAND, but if the husband dies, she is released from the Torah of her husband. So then, while her husband lives, she shall be called an adulteress if she becomes another man’s. But if her husband dies, she is free from that Torah, so that she is not an adulteress, having become another man’s.

Sirach 23:22-27

“So it shall also be for the wife that leaves her husband, and brings forth an heir by another. For firstly, she has disobeyed the Law of the Most High (separating/divorcing her husband who is STILL LIVING based off the scriptures above); and secondly, she has trespassed against her own husband; and thirdly, she has committed whoring by ADULTERY, and brought forth children by another man. She shall be brought out in to the assembly, and inquiry shall be made of her children. Her children shall not take root, and her branches shall not bring forth fruit. She shall leave a cursed remembrance, and her reproach shall NOT BE BLOTTED OUT.”

Jubilees 33:15

“And let them not say, “to Rueben was granted life and forgiveness after he had lain with his dad’s concubine, and to her also though she had a husband, and her HUSBAND JACOB, HIS DAD, WAS SILL ALIVE.”

Tobiyah 3:7-8

“It came to be the same day, that in Ahmetha a city of Madai, Sarah the daughter of Raguel was also reproached by her dad’s female servants; because she had been married to seven husbands, whom Ashmedai the evil spirit killed before they had lain with her. “Do you not know,” they said (female servants), “that you have strangled your husbands? You have already had seven husbands, neither were you named after any of them..” verse 17 Raphael was sent to heal them both, that is, to scale away the whiteness of Tobiyah’s eyes and to give Sarah the daughter of Raguel AS A WIFE to Tobi the son of Tobiyah…”

So this woman named Sarah had 7 husbands but all of them died because of an evil spirit and she was able to remarry ONLY after the deaths of her husband’s which released her from the Torah. So she was given to the righteous Tobiyah’s son named Tobi.

There are multiple witnesses showing us that you cannot marry another spouse while your previous husband or wife is still living. To put this in perspective, if someone got divorced four times while their spouse was still living, you are still married to your first wife in the eyes of YAHWEH and living in active adultery. If this is you, please repent because this is a serious issue.

1 Corinthians 6:9

“Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the reign of ELOHIM? Do not be deceived. Neither those who whore, nor idolaters, nor ADULTERERS, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals…”

What about Deuteronomy 24?

I know that there are many quote this scripture to justify divorce and remarriage, but let’s take a look at the scripture to see what it says.

Deuteronomy 24:1-5

“When a man takes a wife and shall marry her, then it shall be, if she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found a MATTER OF SHAMEFULNESS in her, and he shall write her a certificate of divorce, and put it in her hand and send her out of his house, and IF she left his house and went and became another man’s wife, and the latter husband shall hate her and write her a certificate of divorce, and put it in her hand and send her out of the house, or when the latter husband dies who took her to be his wife, then her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her back to be his wife after she has been defiled, for that would be an abomination before YAHWEH.”

 Many translations say that after the man has put the certificate of divorce in her hand that “she may go and marry another man” but the correct translation as written in HalleYAH Scriptures and the Septuagint is “IF” she married another man when she left his house. She was never given permission to marry another man because that would completely contradict the fact that you are NOT ALLOWED to marry anyone else why your husband or wife is still ALIVE. The “IF” is critical to understanding that she chose to disobey the commandment of YAHWEH by remaining unmarried, but chose to marry another man which is why she cannot go back to the first husband because she has been defiled through adultery.

YESHUA’S words on divorce

YESHUA is the Written Word that became Living Flesh, He is the Living Torah and magnified the Law. And we know that in John 12:49 YESHUA says “Because I spoke not from Myself, but the Father who sent Me has given Me a Command, what I should say and what I should speak.”  So, He is speaking the Words of YAHWEH and cleared up any misunderstandings we may have had on the topic of divorce from YAHWEH Himself spoken by His Son. Firstly, a man will leave his dad and mother and cling to his wife and the two shall become ONE flesh. So they are supposed to be one spiritually, one family, and love each other as their own being.

Genesis 2:23

“And the man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman’, because she was taken out of man.” For this cause a man shall leave his dad and mom, and join unto his wife, and they shall become one flesh.’

Mathew 19:5-6

“For this cause a man shall leave his dad and mother and join unto his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what ELOHIM has joined together, let man not separate.

Marriage is supposed to be a holy union between man and woman as they have made a vow before YAHWEH. They are to be ONE flesh, which is why YESHUA says LET NO MAN (court judges too) separate what ELOHIM has joined together. Couples will go to a church to get married making a vow before ELOHIM, then run to the courts of man to divorce them for any reason. The courts do not uphold the law of YAHWEH. YESHUA said "have you not read..?" He was saying that they should have already known the answer to that question if they had only read about it in Genesis. YESHUA points out that the plan for YAHWEH between man and woman is to be one flesh from the very beginning.

Mathew 5:31-32 (Parenthesis mine)

“And it has been said, ‘Whoever puts away his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce. But I say to you that whoever puts away (divorces) his wife, except for the matter of whoring makes her commit adultery. AND (in addition to) whoever marries a woman who has been put away commits adultery.”

YESHUA says that whoever marries a woman who has been divorced commits adultery. This means that the new man (third party) who marries the divorced woman commits adultery, why? Because he has married someone that does not legally belong to him, she is still married to her first husband in the eyes of YESHUA and that union is still intact, which shows us that divorce and remarriage is adultery. Her husband is still alive and therefore they are still “One flesh” through the marriage. If you do divorce your spouse because of adultery then you are still to remain UNMARRIED! YESHUA doesn’t grant the innocent member of the marriage the rights to marry someone else just because the other spouse did the cheating. “Till death do you part” is a literally thing for both the husband and wife.

. YESHUA is saying Mathew 19:7-9

“They said to Him, “Why then did Moses COMMAND to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away? He said to them, “Because of the hardness of your hearts, Moses ALLOWED you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, whoever puts away his wife, EXCEPT on the grounds of whoring, and marries another commits adultery. And whoever marries her who has been put away commits adultery.’

Mark 10:11-12 (Parenthesis mine)

“And He said to them, “Whoever puts away his wife and marries another commits adultery against HER (The first covenant wife, because he is still married to her). And if a woman puts away her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”

I wanted to note that sexual immorality is one of definitions included in the Greek word “Porneia” #G4202 and sexual immorality includes adultery. The concordance has several definitions for Porneia, but I want focus on the definition that says plainly “SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH A DIVORCED MAN OR WOMAN” and the concordance references this scripture from Mark. Which is exactly what YESHUA was saying in all of these scriptures, that he who divorces his wife and marries another commits porneia (adultery) because that are having sexual relations with a divorced man or woman.

Luke 16:18

“Everyone divorcing his wife and marrying another commits adultery. And everyone marrying her who is divorced from her husband commits adultery.”

It’s interesting to note that the accounts of Mark and Luke both do NOT mention “except for whoring or fornication.” Their accounts both say who ever divorces their wife and marries another commits adultery.

Never does YESHUA say that you can remarry another spouse! He is saying that you can divorce her due to her marital unfaithfulness which I believe is during the engagement/betrothal stage which we will be discussing a little later.  Regardless if YESHUA is referring to engagement or the consummated marriage He never gives an allowance of remarriage to another. YESHUA clearly says that anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. If you divorce her due to her unfaithfulness and you both remain unmarried then you can reconcile and come back to each other. ELOHIM still doesn’t want to see divorce at all, so do what you can to reconcile the marriage and do not marry another by defiling yourselves. Look at the wording the Pharisees used, they said Moses commanded! Then YESHUA said “allowed” meaning tolerated or put up with it due to the hardness of men’s hearts.

Mathew 19:10

“His disciples said to Him, “If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is good not to marry.” And He said to them, “NOT ALL RECEIVE THIS WORD, but only those to whom it has been given…”

YESHUA’s teaching on divorce was so difficult to accept that even His disciples couldn’t handle it, they thought it was better not to get married. YESHUA’s teaching, Who was only speaking the words of His Father YAHWEH, went against everything they thought was true, which is what is happening today. YESHUA says that “not all will receive the message” and this holds true to this very day. YESHUA was pointing mankind back to the model of Adam and Eve being “one flesh.”

YAHWEH gave us the perfect example!

YAHWEH married Yisra’el at Sinai and exchanged vows in Exodus 19:5-6:

“And now, if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My Covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession above all the peoples-for all the earth is Mine-and you shall be to Me a reign of priests and a holy nation.’ Those are the words which you are to speak to the children of Yisra’el.”

Jeremiah 31:33

“Not like the Covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My Covenant which they broke, though I was a HUSBAND to them,” declares YAHWEH.”

Notice in verse 32 YAHWEH says He was a “Husband”? Therefore, Yisra’el was His wife! But due to their unfaithfulness to YAHWEH He divorced them in:

 Jeremiah 3:7-8

“And after she had done all these, I said ‘Return to Me.’ But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. And I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Yisra’el had committed ADULTERY, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not reverence, but went and committed whoring too.”    

Even in verse 7 she (Yisra’el) was unfaithful to Him (YAHWEH) by committing adultery and He did not immediately divorce her, but told her to “come back to Me”. That is love beyond comprehension and not responding with the “hardness of heart”. YAHWEH gave her a chance and was willing to forgive the unfaithful act; but humans are less forgiving and immediately seek a divorce. Humans see unfaithfulness and are ready to divorce, because they feel betrayed and rightly so, nobody wants to be cheated on because you wonder if you could ever trust that person again.

Even though YAHWEH was angry with Yisra’el He showed love despite her adultery and wanted to reconcile with her, but when He saw that Yisra’el continued in rebellion and would not turn back then He wrote her a certificate of divorce and she continued with her many lovers and Judah saw it and did worse than Yisra’el.

YAHWEH gave us the perfect example of what He expects in Genesis that two become one flesh and YESHUA restated it. YAHWEH illustrated how Yisra’el his wife was unfaithful to Him and He divorces her but NEVER married anyone else. He did not choose another wife or chosen people, YAHWEH could have replaced Yisra’el with the Philistines as His wife/chosen people but He did not. He remained unmarried, meaning that Yisra’el was always His chosen people/wife. He chose to die through His Son YESHUA becoming a “New Man” and then He went back to THE SAME BRIDE which is Yisra’el and not a new bride or new people. YAHWEH never gave up on His bride and through YESHUA this established the Renewed Covenant where He becomes our High Priest, our Mediator, and The Holy Spirit poured out so that we can keep His commandments and do them.

 This is the key because most people will divorce their spouse and marry someone NEW, YAHWEH divorced Yisra’el His wife and went back to her,what better example can there be but following in the footsteps of the Creator Himself?

We read that the spouses of the marriage are bound by the Torah as long as the other spouse is LIVING even after divorce! So our ELOHIM took it up Himself by sending His Son YESHUA to die releasing Him from the Torah and becoming a New Man so He could remarry Yisra’el. It was “until death do you part” in His eyes and by doing this He would not violate His own word.

Can you go back to your first husband or wife after you married another?

Another thing that is important to mention is that may translations say that after the man has put the certificate of divorce in her hand that “she may go and marry another man” but the correct translation is “IF” she married another man. She was never given permission to marry another man because that would completely contradict the fact that you are NOT ALLOWED to marry anyone else why your husband or wife is still ALIVE as we discussed in the introduction.

Jeremiah 3:1-3

“If a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him and becomes another man’s does he return to her again? Would not that land be made greatly unclean? But you have committed whoring with many lovers. And would you return to Me? declares YAHWEH.”

Notice the first thing that YAHWEH says in verse 1? If a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him and becomes another man’s does he return to her again?  YAHWEH is clearly stating that you cannot marry someone else and then come back to your first spouse because that would be an abomination just as He states in Deuteronomy 24, He would not violate on His own Torah.

 The matter of shamefulness would be adultery for all the reasons we mentioned above because it is “Until death do you part.” As we see from the letter of Paul to Corinth; and in Romans is that a woman is to remained UNMARRIED, unless she finds favor with her husband again. That way if they work things out while they are separated then they can REJOIN without being defiled and committing adultery.

However, we know that most people will begin having sexual relations while being SEPARATED which means that they are committing adultery; or if they get divorced they will marry someone else while their spouse is still living and it makes them commit adultery, why? Because they are still married to their first husband or wife in the eyes of YAHWEH!

As we read in Deuteronomy 24 the woman after being divorced from her first husband married another man, although she is bound by the Torah as long as her husband lives which made her an adulteress. This is why she cannot go back to her first husband because she has been DEFILED through adultery, and if that first husband took her back then he commits adultery and this is an abomination to YAHWEH! Remember one of the definition of Porneia is sexual relations with a divorced man or woman and that is exactly what happened in this scripture.

Wasn’t Joseph about to divorce Mary?

Deuteronomy 22:23

“When a girl who is a virgin is ENGAGED TO HER HUSBAND, and a man finds her in the city and lies with her…”

YAHWEH shows us that when you are engaged you are still technically married; and this is the example that we see with Joseph and Mary.

Mathew 1:18-20

“And the birth of YESHUA ha’Mashiach was as follows: After His mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, BEFORE THEY CAME TOGETHER (sexually), she was found to be pregnant from the Ruach ha’Kodesh (Holy Spirit). And Joseph her husband being righteous, and not wanting to make a show of her, had in mind to put her away secretly. But while he thought about this, see, a messenger (angel) of YAHWEH appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for that which is in her was brought forth from the Holy Spirit.”

As we see, Joseph was engaged to Mary, yet he was still called her husband. This shows that times have changed in our modern day society versus what the Bible says. Engagements are not taken as seriously in our Western society as they were in Biblical times; and we see unfaithfulness was the reason Joseph thought about putting away his engaged wife during the betrothal/engagement stage. I personally believe that if Joseph and Mary had the wedding and consummated the marriage then it would be until death do you part. This seems to make the most sense when we revisit the words of YESHUA in Mathew 19:7-9 which is the only example we are really given in the New Testament.

Mathew 19:7-9

“They said to Him, “Why then did Moses COMMAND to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away? He said to them, “Because of the hardness of your hearts, Moses ALLOWED you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, whoever puts away his wife, EXCEPT on the grounds of whoring (betrothal), and marries another commits adultery. And whoever marries her who has been put away commits adultery.’

Engagement/betrothed

As explained earlier Joseph and Mary were betrothed, meaning they were pledged to be married meaning they were engaged to each other, even though they had not yet lived together as husband and wife. In Hebrew culture the steps of betrothal involved two families in a formal contract, and that contract was as binding as marriage itself. Some would say it was almost like a business transaction that included the “dowry” which is the bride price, which would be repaid IF the engagement was broken (Which is what would have happened with Joseph and Mary). After the betrothal stage was the wedding celebration, the bridge moves in to the house with the groom, and the consummation of the marriage. Consummation means (to finish, to bring to completion of fruition; to conclude, achieve, or fulfill) meaning that the marriage is now official. This is completely different then how the world views marriages and engagements today.

So, Joseph was going to divorce is engaged wife Mary DURING the engagement process and not after they had consummated the marriage and made it official. And I believe this makes the most sense regarding divorcing a wife due to adultery when we read the verses.

Marital Vows

One of the things I did not mention in the video the last time is “vows” and it was laid on my heart to share the importance of vows. When a man and woman are getting married don’t they exchange “Wedding Vows” saying “Till death do you part?” We all know the  answer to this is yes. So this means that you had made a vow between you, your spouse, and our Father YAHWEH which is why YESHUA said “What ELOHIM has brought together let man NOT separate.” So being that you have exchanged a wedding vow before YAHWEH does He expect you to uphold that vow? I did a video on vows but I’ll list the scriptures as it pertains any vow that we make.

Ecclesiastes 5:4-6

“When you make a VOW to ELOHIM, do not delay to pay it, for He takes no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you have VOWED. It is better not to vow than to vow and not pay. Do not all your mouth to cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger of ELOHIM that it was a mistake. Why should ELOHIM be wroth at your voice and destroy the work of your hands?

Deuteronomy 23:21-23

“When you make a vow to YAHWEH your ELOHIM, do not delay to pay it, for YAHWEH your ELOHIM is certainly requiring it of you, and it shall be sin in you. BUT WHEN YOU ABSTAIN FROM VOWING, IT IS NOT SIN IN YOU (As YESHUA said don’t swear falsely at all) That which has gone from your lips you shall guard and do, for you VOLUNTARILY vowed to YAHWEH your ELOHIM what you have promised with your mouth.”

A good example of this is found in Judges with a man named Yiphtah, who made a vow. Some people read this and thing YAHWEH is unjust without understanding the two scriptures that we just read above.

Judges 11:30-36

“And Yiphtah MADE A VOW to YAHWEH, and said, “if you give the children of Ammon into my hands, then it shall be that whatever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall belong to YAHWEH, and I shall offer it up as a burnt offering.” Yiphtah then passed on toward the children of Ammon to fight against them, and YAHWEH gave them into his hands. And he smote them from Aro’er as for as minnith, twenty cities, and Abel Keramim, with a very great smiting. Thus the children of Ammon were humbled before the children of Yisra’el. And Yiphtah came to his house at Mitspah, and saw his daughter coming out to meet him with timbrels and dancing. Now except for her he had neither son nor daughter. And it came to be, when he saw her, that he tore his garments, and said, “Oh my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you are among those who trouble me! And I, I have given my word to YAHWEH, and I am unable to turn back. And she said to him, “My dad, if you have given your word to YAHWEH, do to me according what has gone out of your mouth, because YAHWEH has taken vengeance for you upon your enemies, the children of Ammon.”

As we see Yiphtah voluntarily offered from his own mouth this vow, YAHWEH did not command him to do it and even though his daughter walked out of the house, his only daughter he had to offer her up. Many believers today would look for an excuse to get out of the situation and act like they never made the vow.  Yiphtah and his daughter knew that he had to perform what he spoke.

Psalms 66:13-14

“I enter Your house with burnt offerings; I COMPLETE MY VOWS TO YOU, THAT WHICH MY LIPS HAVE UTTERED AND MY MOUTH SPOKE IN DISTRESS.”

Genesis 28:20-23

“And Jacob made a VOW, saying, “Seeing ELOHIM is with me, and has kept me in this way that I am going, and has given me bread to eat and a garment to put on-when I have returned to my dad’s house in peace, and YAHWEH shall be my ELOHIM, then this stone which I have placed as a standing column shall be ELOHIM’s house, and of all that You give me, I shall certainly give a tenth to You.”

Jubilees 31:26-29

“And in the morning Jacob told his dad Isaac the VOW which he had vowed to YAHWEH, and the vision which he had seen, and that he had built an altar, and that everything was ready for the slaughtering to be made before YAHWEH as he had vowed, and that he had come to set him on a donkey.” And Isaac said to Jacob his son, “I am not able to go with you for I am old and not able to bear the way. Go in peace, my son. For I am one hundred and sixty-five years this day. I am no longer able to journey; set your mother on a donkey and let her go with you. And I k now, my son, that you have come because of me, and may this day be blessed on which you have seen me alive, and I also have seen you, my son. May you prosper and FULFIL the VOW which you vowed; AND DO NOT PUT OFF YOUR VOW; for you will be called in account for the vow. Now therefore hurry to perform it, and may He be pleased who has made all things, to whom you vowed the vow.”

As we can see a vow is not something to take lightly at all and YAHWEH expects us to fulfill the words that we have spoken. Therefore, if you have made a wedding vow to your spouse saying “Until death do you part” then it is “until death do you part.”

Passover Instructions 2021!

Pesach (Passover) is on April 6th this year using the Zadok Priestly calendar, so the days are going to be different than most of the standard calendars that you will see.

 Pesach (Passover) is a time to proclaim the death of YESHUA until He returns and we remember what He did when He gave Himself for us all.

I’ll discuss who Passover is for, parallels with YESHUA and Old Covenant, and instructions for Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Who is Passover for?

Exodus 12:42-49

“It is a night to be observed unto YAHWEH for bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This night is unto YAHWEH, to be observed by all the children of Yisra’el throughout their generations.” And YAHWEH said to Moses and Aaron, “This is a Law of the Passover: No son of a stranger (Nekar) is to eat of it, but any servant a man has brought for silver, when you have circumcised him, then let him eat of it. A sojourner and a hired servant does not eat of it. It is eaten in one house, you are not to take any of the flesh outside the house, nor are you to break any bone of it. All the congregation of Yisra’el are to perform it. And when a stranger sojourns with you (Ger) and shall perform the Pesach to YAHWEH, let all his males be circumcised, AND THEN let him come near and perform it, and he shall be as a native of the land. But let NO UNCIRCUMCISED eat of it.”

Numbers 9:14

“And when a stranger (gentile) sojourns among you, then he shall perform the Pesach (Passover) of YAHWEH. He shall do so according to the Law of the Pesach and according to its Right-Ruling. You have ONE LAW, both for the stranger and the native of the land.”

So, we see that YAHWEH says twice that the gentile must perform the Passover along with the native-born Israelites because they are grafted in. So there is no replacement theology of the church replacing Yisra’el, but rather the gentiles are observe the festivals that the world calls “Jewish feast days”. As we see, YAHWEH said there is One Law for the native-born and gentile and both must observe Passover.

One of Satan’s biggest deceptions is to trick believers of The ELOHIM of Yisra’el into observing pagan days that are not commanded in scripture. Satan has attempted to take YESHUA’s victory over death  and has the world worshipping and praising the Easter bunnies instead of observing Passover. By doing so he wants to give the honor and esteem to anything but YAHWEH and YESHUA and has found a way to connect it to hardcore paganism.

 Satan has deceived the world just as it states in Revelation 12:9 that he has led the whole world astray. Most of the world is celebrating his counterfeit holidays called sabbats which means (a pagan gathering of witches) that mock the true Holy Days/SHABBAT’S or Moedim (Appointed times) set by YAHWEH.

Jubilees 1:9-10

“For they shall forget all My Commands, even all that I command them, and they shall walk after the gentiles (Easter is an example of that), and after their uncleanness, and after their shame, and shall serve their mighty ones. And these shall come to be an offence to them and a tribulation and an affliction and a snare. And many shall perish and they shall be taken captive, and shall fall into the hands of the enemy, because they have forsaken My Laws and My Commands, and the Festivals of My Covenant (Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread etc) and My  Shabbats, and My Holy Place which I have sanctified for Myself in their midst….” Verse 14 “And they shall forget all My Torah and My Commands and all My Right-Rulings, and shall go astray as to NEW MOONS, and SHABBATS, and FESTIVALS, and Jubilees, and Laws.”

Is this matter and the words commanded in Torah that serious?

Yes! When the Book of the Torah was discovered during the days of Josiah in The House of YAHWEH he said in 2 Kings 22:13

“Go inquire of YAHWEH for me, for the people and for all of Judah, concerning the words of this Book that has been found. For great is the wrath of YAHWEH that is kindled against us, because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this Book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.”

 YAHWEH says they forgot His New Moons, Shabbats, and Festivals. And the world has forsaken them for pagan knock-off’s. As I repeat so often is that once you have accepted YESHUA as your Messiah and Savior and know that He is Son of YHWH, then you have become grafted in as ONE with the nation of Yisra’el. There is only ONE belief; therefore, proving that ALL believers in YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA should ALL be worshipping Him the same way!

Ephesians 4:4-6

“ONE BODY, and ONE RUACH (SPIRIT), as you also were called in ONE expectation of your calling; ONE ADON (Master)YESHUA, ONE BELIEF/FAITH, ONE IMMERSION/BAPTISM, ONE ELOHIM AND FATHER OF ALL who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” There is only ONE WAY and that is through YESHUA anything else is an imposter.

Colossians 2:16-17

“Let no one therefore judge you in eating and or in drinking, or in respect of a Festival or a NEW MOON OR SABBATH-which are a shadow of what is to come...” 

Meaning that YAHWEH expects us to observe these days. The Hebrew word for Holy Convocation is “Mikraw” which literally means a rehearsal. We are to be observing these days NOW because it will be too late when YESHUA returns: therefore, don’t let anyone judge you for knowing the TRUTH! The prophecy in Zechariah 14 is a great example of this because during the 1,000 reign, that ALL nations must come to celebrate The Feast of Tabernacles or have no rain, even the Egyptian, because it is a SHADOW of what is to come, which means that same concept applies to Passover!

Choose Passover/Pesach (Pronounced PAY-SOCK)!

Mathew 26:2 says:

“As you know, the PASSOVER is two days away and the Son of Man (YESHUA) will be handed over to be crucified.”

What is Passover? Passover is when YAHWEH brought the final plague upon the Egyptians because Pharaoh would not let His people go. YAHWEH commanded the Israelites to take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the basin with the perfect blood of lamb and strike the lentil and the two doorposts of the house so that YAHWEH would “Pass Over” their homes and not let the destroyer come in; and to execute judgment on the Egyptians. This event was a foreshadowing of the true perfect sacrificial lamb in YESHUA, whose perfect blood was poured out for us. The same way the perfect blood of the lamb saved Yisra’el when YAHWEH PASSED OVER them, is the same way when we have the perfect blood of YESHUA in our lives and doorposts of our hearts that sin and death PASS OVER us!

John 1:29

“On the next day John saw YESHUA coming toward him, and said, “See, the LAMB of YAHWEH who takes away the sin of the world!”

Exodus 12:5

“Let the LAMB be a perfect one, a year old male.” Verse 12 “And I shall pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and shall smite the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. And on all the mighty ones of Egypt I shall execute judgment. I am YAHWEH. And the BLOOD shall be a SIGN for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the BLOOD, I shall PASS OVER you, and let the plague not come on you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt.”

YESHUA is also described as the Lamb in the Book of Revelation saying:

Revelation 6:16

“And said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him sitting on the throne and from the wrath of the LAMB.”

Revelation 12:11

“And they overcame him because of the Blood of the LAMB because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

Revelation 13:8

“And all those dwelling on the earth, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the slain LAMB, from the foundation of the world shall worship Him.”

Revelation 22:1 “And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of YAHWEH and of the LAMB.”

Another connection with YESHUA from the Old Covenant and the Renewed Covenant is:

Exodus 12:46

“It is eaten in one house, you are not to take any of the flesh (lamb) outside the house, NOR are you to BREAK ANY BONE OF IT.”

John 19:31

“The Jews asked Pilate to have THEIR LEGS BROKEN, and to be taken away. Therefore the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who was impaled with Him, but when they came to YESHUA and saw that He was already dead, they DID NOT BREAK HIS LEGS.”  But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and instantly BLOOD and WATER came out. And he was has seen has witnessed, and his witness is true. And he knows that he is speaking the truth, in order that you might believe. For this took place in order for the Scripture to be filled: “NOT ONE OF HIS BONES SHALL BE BROKEN.” See the connection and how it fulfills what YAHWEH spoke In Exodus 12:46?

Also in John 19:34 when YESHUA was pierced blood and water came out of Him. This reminds me of:

1 John 5:5-6

“Who is the one who overcomes the world but he who believes that YESHUA is the Son of YAHWEH? This is the One that came by WATER AND BLOOD: YESHUA ha’Mashiach, not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Ruach (Spirit) who bears witness, because the Ruach is the Truth.” (The immersion/baptism and atonement on the stake.)

YESHUA and Paul both observed Passover!

Exodus 12:14 says:

“And this day shall be unto you for a memorial: and you shall keep it a feast to YAHWEH throughout your generations; you shall keep it a feast by a LAW forever.”

If you notice, YAHWEH tells us to keep the Passover Feast throughout our generations forever. This holds true because YESHUA celebrated Passover with His disciples just as His Father commanded.

Mathew 26:18-19 says:

“And He said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand: I WILL KEEP THE PASSOVER at your house with My disciples.” And the disciples did as YESHUA had appointed them; and they made ready the Passover.”

Verse 29 is absolutely beautiful! YESHUA reveals something that a lot of people may miss after reading the passage. He says the following:

“But I say unto you, I will not drink the fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

YESHUA just confirmed the words of Father YAHWEH in Exodus 12:14 that the Passover is to be kept forever; and YESHUA tells us that we will celebrate the Passover with Him when He drinks the fruit of the vine with us in His Father’s Kingdom, HalleluYAH! So, as believers we need to begin celebrating the true feast of Passover and not the counterfeit holiday of Easter.

 The problem is that Christianity through the lies of the enemy has been working hard to remove the Hebraic roots of our faith and westernize it. It baffles me because YESHUA was a Jew, which is ONE of the 12 Tribes of Yisra’el, and He spoke Aramaic/Hebrew, so it is impossible to remove the Hebraic roots of our faith. A perfect example of this is how they call Passover “The Last Supper” as if it was just some dinner YESHUA ate before He gave Himself for us. By doing so the foreshadowing of the lamb in Exodus that saved Yisra’el won’t be made with YESHUA the perfect Lamb Who saves us.

1 Corinthians 5:7-8

“Therefore cleanse out the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also MESSIAH our PASSOVER was offered for US. So then LET US OBSERVE THE FESTIVAL (PASSOVER) not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

Not only did Paul remember that YESHUA is our Passover Lamb, but also told the assembly of Corinth to Observe the Festival of Passover which means Paul observed it and told the non-native born Corinthians to do the same, showing that we ALL should doing as they did.

1 Corinthians 11:23-26

“For I received from the Adon pronounced Ah-doan (Master) that which I also delivered to you: that the Adon YESHUA in the night in which He was delivered up took bread, and having given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat, this is My body which is broken for you; DO THIS IN REMEMBERANCE OF ME.” In the same way also the cup, after supper; saying, “This cup is the Renewed Covenant in My blood. As often as you drink it, DO THIS IN REMEMBERANCE OF ME.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup (Passover), you PROCLAIM THE DEATH OF THE ADON UNTIL HE COMES.”

So we see the importance of the blood of YESHUA saving us from sin and death and the bread representing His body that was broken for us and blood of the Renewed Covenant! Then Paul adds that we are proclaiming the death of YESHUA until He returns! So if we are doing this in REMEMBERANCE of YESHUA then He will be looking from heaven to see if we are REMEMBERING TO KEEP PASSOVER! I know Christianity has their own “tradition of men” called communion to remember what YESHUA did, but we have to understand that YAHWEH commands us to do it on a certain day once a year. Which is why He gave us Holy Days in Leviticus 23 and Deuteronomy 16 and called “Appointed Times” and “Sabbaths”. They are Appointments that YAHWEH and YESHUA want to meet with Their people.

Think of it this way: If a holistic doctor says “come back and see me in two weeks and make the appointment with the receptionist” that means you have an appointment to meet him on a certain day. If you decide to show up a month later, then that means you have missed the appointment and cannot receive treatment. The same thing applies in the spiritual realm and the Covenant we are supposed to be walking in with ELOHIM to receive spiritual blessings on the day that He has ordained.

And Even Josiah in the Book of Kings when the Book of the Torah was discovered celebrated Passover because IT IS WRITTEN! 2 Kings 23:21-23 says:

And the sovereign (Josiah) commanded all the people, saying, “Prepare the Pesach (Passover) to YAHWEH your Elohim, as it is written in this Book of the Covenant.” For such a Passover had not been prepared since the days of the rulers who ruled Israel, nor in all the days of the sovereigns of Israel and the sovereigns of Judah.”

Joshua 5:10-11

“And the children of Yisra’el camped in Gilgal, and performed the Pesach on the 14th day of the month at evening on the desert plains of Jericho. And they ate the stored grain of the land on the morrow after the Pesach, unleavened bread and roasted grain on this same day.”

When is Passover this year?

Passover this year is on April 6th when the sun is about to completely go down (twilight/between the evenings), but before it completely sets, but the meal is not eaten until the sun completely sets. This is why YAHWEH said slaughter the lamb “in between the evenings” which is still technically the14th day of 1st month, so when the sun sets is the start of the 15th. The meal is eaten at night in haste because the Israelites fled Egypt in haste. And a way to remember what happened with the Exodus out of Egypt is by retelling the event with Scripture and having the entire family join in or a haggadah which is a retelling of Exodus that is interactive where all can join as reader #1, reader #2 etc, just make sure that is scripturally based and not the seder of Judaism.

Exodus 12:8

“And they shall eat the flesh on that NIGHT, roasted in fire-with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs and they shall eat it.

Jubilees 49:1

“Remember the command which YAHWEH commanded you concerning Passover, that you should celebrate it at its appointed time, on the fourteenth day of the first month; that you should slaughter it BEFORE it is evening (in between the evenings/twilight), so that they may EAT IT BY NIGHT ON THE EVENING OF THE FIFTEENTH from the time of the SETTING OF THE SUN.”

Deuteronomy 16:6

“There you slaughter the Pesach in the evening, at the going down of the sun (twilight.in between the evenings), at the Appointed Time you came out of Egypt.”

What are we supposed to eat?

Exodus 12:8-11

“And they shall eat the flesh (Lamb) on that night, ROASTED IN FIRE-with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.” Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but ROASTED IN FIRE, its legs and its inward parts. And do not leave of it until morning you are to burn with fire. And this is how you eat it: your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the Pesach (Passover) of YAHWEH.

Exodus 34:25

“Do not offer the blood of My slaughtering with leaven, and do not let the slaughtering of the Festival of Pesach remain until morning.”

YAHWEH tell us to eat lamb roasted in fire (like a grill with actual charcoal and flames) unleavened bread (bread with no yeast, no baking soda or sourdough) and bitter herbs which are herbs such as mustard greens, dandelion greens, horseradish, or chicory.

1 Esdras 1:11-12

“And according to the nobility of the ancestors before the people, to offer to YAHWEH, as it is written in the Book of Moses (Torah). And thus they did in the morning, and they ROASTED THE PESACH (PASSOVER) WITH FIRE, AS REQUIRED.”

Of course we are in diaspora right now, scattered to the four corners of the earth because of our ancestor’s disobedience. Meaning we aren’t in Jerusalem and there is no Temple; however, we can do ALL that we can to follow the commandments and requirements to the best of your ability. If you can get a staff to eat with the meal then why not? If you can get a whole lamb then that’s great! If, not get some lamb steaks, just make sure you are eating lamb roasted in fire as required. But remember that NONE of the meat can be kept and must be burned with fire by the morning as we read in Exodus 12:10 and Exodus 34:25.

Jubilees 49:10

“Let the children of Yisra’el come and observe the Passover on the day of its appointed time on the fourteenth day of the first month, between the evenings, from the THIRD PART of the day to the THIRD PART OF THE NIGHT, for two portions of the day are given to the light, and a third part to the evening. This is that which YAHWEH commanded you that you should observe it between the evenings. And it is not permissible to slay it during any period of the light, but during the period BORDERING THE EVENING, and let them eat it at the time of the evening UNTIL THE THIRD PART OF THE NIGHT, and whatever is left over of all its flesh from the THIRD PART OF THE NIGHT ONWARDS, let them burn it with fire.”

We need 12 hours of both to constitute a 24 hour period. 12 hours in a day divided by three parts equals 4 hours. Spoken of in Jubilees 49 for Passover:

Night:

Part 1 of night is: 6pm-10pm

Part 2 of night is: 10pm-2am (Eat of Passover from evening up to 2 am, then whatever is left is burned with fire. Because what ever is left from the third part of night onwards is to be burned.)

Part 3 of night is: 2am-6am

Day:

Part 1 of day is: 6 am-10am

Part 2 of day is 10am-2pm

Part 3 of day is 2pm-6pm and the cycle repeats

Some argue that since YESHUA is the Lamb that we don’t have to eat the lamb. And I would say that in Mathew 5:17 YESHUA said He did not come to abolish the Torah, and secondly I would say that John 6 gives us the full context of what YESHUA is saying:

John 6:55-58

“For My flesh is truly food, and My blood is truly drink. He who eats My Flesh and drinks My blood stays in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live cause of the Father, so he who feeds on Me shall live because of Me. This is the bread which came down out of the heavens, not as your fathers ate the manna and died. He who eats this bread shall live forever.”

So we know YESHUA is not talking about becoming a cannibal and eating his literal flesh and drinking His blood which is forbidden in the Torah. This was symbolic, meaning the flesh is the lamb roasted in fire, the bread is the unleavened bread which represents His sinless body that was broken for us, and the blood is the wine or grape juice. And we can go back to the beginning of John 6 and go to verse 4 to know YESHUA was referring to Passover which says “And the Passover was near, the Festival of the Jews.”

Exodus 12:22

“And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin, and you, NONE OF YOU SHALL GO OUT OF THE DOOR OF HIS HOUSE UNTIL MORNING.”

As I always say we should follow the Scriptures as closely as we can, so if you are at home stay in the house and don’t go out until morning and likewise if you are staying with family or friends stay in the house until morning to fulfill the command

1 Corinthians 11:27-29

“So that whoever should eat this bread or drink this cup of the Master unworthily shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Master. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup/ For the one who is eating and drinking unworthily, eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Master.”

You must be circumcised to eat of the Passover!

Exodus 12:43-49

“And YHWH said to Moses and Aaron, “This is a Law of the Passover: No son of a stranger is to eat of it, but any servant a man has brought for silver, when you have circumcised him, then let him eat of it. A sojourner and a hired servant does not eat of it. It is eaten in one house, you are not to take any of the flesh outside the house, nor are you to break any bone of it. All the congregation of Yisra’el are to perform it. And when a stranger sojourns with you (Ger) and shall perform the Pesach to YAHWEH, let all his males be circumcised, AND THEN let him come near and perform it, and he shall be as a native of the land. But let NO UNCIRCUMCISED eat of it.”

Joshua 5:7-10

“And Joshua circumcised their sons whom He raised up in their place; for they were uncircumcised, because they had not been circumcised on the way. And it came to be, when they had completed circumcising all the nation, that they stayed in their places in the camp till they were healed. And YHWH said to Joshua, ‘Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” So the name of the place is called Gigal to this day. And the children of Yisra’el camped in Gilgal, and performed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at evening on the deserts plains of Jericho.”

So here we see that those who rebelled against YAHWEH in the wilderness were caught off as they wandered for 40 years, but their children who were born in the wilderness were not yet circumcised. So notice that after Joshua circumcised them that they were allowed to eat the Passover four days later? That’s because no uncircumcised can eat it as YAHWEH commanded in Exodus 12.

However, circumcision is also a sign of the covenant that He made with Abraham in Genesis 17 and we see that the uncircumcised cannot eat Passover, so I truly believe that every man should do his best to follow these instructions and be physically circumcised and also circumcised of the heart.

Numbers 9:6-12 explains that there is a second Passover, ONLY for those who are unclean or on a journey and absolutely can’t make it. I would strongly encourage everyone to make the first one, but if you can’t YAHWEH knows your heart, just don’t miss the second one.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread!

The Feast of Unleavened Bread is a “High Shabbat” that begins on April 7th; therefore, it ties in with Passover, which is why we start eating unleavened bread that night of the 6th. We will see in John 19:31 that the 1st Day of The Feast of Unleavened Bread is another holy day where NO WORK is commanded! So it was a Shabbat within a Shabbat and YESHUA rested and honored both. YAHWEH did not raise Him up from the dead until both Shabbat rests were completed! ELOHIM is awesome!

John 19:31

“Therefore, since it was the Preparation, that the bodies should not remain on the stake on the Shabbat-for that Shabbat was A HIGH ONE (1st Day of Feast of Unleavened Bread…)

Numbers 33:3

“So they departed from Ramses in the first month, on the 15th day of the first month (Feast of Unleavened Bread), on the MORROW OF THE PASSOVER, the children of Yisra’el went out with a high hand before the eyes of all the Egyptians.”

Acts 20:6-7

“And we sailed away from Philippos after the Days of Matzah (Feast of Unleavened Bread) and came to them at Troas in five days, where we stayed seven days. And on one of the Sabbaths, the disciples having gathered together to break bread, Paul, intending to depart the next day, was reasoning with them and was extending the Word till midnight.”

Just pointing out that Paul himself was with the group observing The Feast of Unleavened Bread and we see that they did not even sail until AFTER the Feast was completed.

April 7th-13th is The Feast of Unleavened Bread (7 days) and DO NOT EAT LEAVENED bread starting on Passover the 6th. The 1st and 7th Days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread are NO WORK DAYS, so that means do not work on April 7th or April 13th, 2021.

YAHWEH tells us this in Exodus 12:14-20 saying:

“This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to YAHWEH---a LASTING LAW. For seven days you are to eat bread made without leaven. On the first day remove the leaven from your houses (April 7th), for whoever eats anything with leaven in it from the first day through the seventh day must be cut off from Israel. On the FIRST day (APRIL 7TH) hold a sacred assembly, and another one on the SEVENTH DAY (APRIL 13TH.) Do no work at all on these days, except to prepare food for everyone to eat---that is all you may do.”

Exodus 34:18

“Guard the Festival of Matzah (Feast of Unleavened Bread). For seven days you eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the Appointed Time of the month of Abib, because in the month of Abib you came out from Egypt.”

YAHWEH also commands us to remove ALL leaven from our homes on the 1st Day of the Feast (April 7th). The definition of leaven is described below titled “What is leaven?”

 Exodus 12:17-18

“Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt. Celebrate this day as a lasting law for the generations to come. In the first, you are to eat bread made without leaven, from the evening of the fourteenth day (Passover, April 6th) until the evening of the twenty-first day (April 13th). (As stated above DO NOT EAT LEAVEN ON PASSOVER THE EVENING OF THE 6TH.) For seven days no leaven is to be found in your homes. And whoever eats anything with leaven in it must be cut off from the community of Yisra’el, whether he is an ALIEN OR NATIVE-BORN. Eat nothing made with leaven. Wherever you live, you must eat unleavened bread.”

What is leaven?

Leaven or (Se’or in Hebrew) are leavening agents that cause dough to rise:

Firstly we have the natural form of leaven in bread which is called Sourdough bread. This is what the scriptures are originally referring to, when it says that they did not have time for the dough to rise.

Exodus 12:34

“And the people took their dough before it was leavened, having their kneading bowls bound up in their garments on their shoulders.”

Sourdough bread is defined as: Sourdough is an old form of bread LEAVENING. It relies on a mix of wild yeast (from the air) and lactic acid bacteria that are naturally present in flour, RATHER than baker's yeast, to leaven the dough. It is fermented bread that begins to leaven the longer it sits.  An article titled “What is Sourdough? The bread that rises without yeast” written by Alice Zou says “Sourdough is the oldest form of leavened bread, dating back to Ancient Egypt. BEFORE the use of commercial yeast, all bread was either unleavened or sourdough. It is thought that sourdough bread was first made on accident when unleavened bread dough was left sitting out, and wild yeast began to grow in the dough. In modern times, sourdough is still popular, and many artisan bakeries still make sourdough bread.”

Then we have the chemical/commercial leavening agents the world is accustomed to today such as: (Yeast, baking powder, baking soda, sodium bicarbonate, horn salt etc.)

When leavening agents are combined with flour it becomes Chametz (Ha-mets) which is baked bread that has risen due to the leavening agents. We are to dispose of any Chametz that you have made yourself including sourdough or any store bought baked breads, cakes, cake mixes containing leavening agents, also beware of matzah ball soup mixes because they contain sodium bicarbonate which is a leavening agent that we should not be eating during this feast.

Also, all of the leavening agents must be thrown away too on the FIRST DAY (April 7th) and to be found NOWHERE in your homes. And do not give the chametz or the leavening agents to a neighbor to get them back afterwards. Throw them away as He commanded and He will provide the provisions for being obedient as always.

None of these items are supposed to even be seen anywhere on our property. We are to eat Matzah, which is called unleavened bread, for seven days which does not contain anything to make the dough rise or the original leavened sourdough bread. Simply flour, water, and maybe oil is all that is required to make unleavened bread.

Wine is popular to drink on Passover, though I personally opt for grape juice as the fruit of the vine, because most wine contains yeast or a leavening agent during the fermentation process, which would break the command of no leavening agent. So if you can find a wine that doesn’t break the command then you should have no problems, otherwise I would drink grape juice. I only bring this up for awareness purposes so that each person can do their own research and follow the instructions as closely as they can.

Exodus 12:39

“And they baked UNLEAVENED CAKES of the dough which they had brought out of Egypt, for it was NOT LEAVENED, since they were driven out of Egypt, and had not been able to delay, nor had they prepared food for themselves.”

We are commanded not to possess Chametz or leavening agents because leaven is a representation of sin. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 5:6-8:

“Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little leaven works through the whole batch of dough? Get rid of the old leaven that you may be a new batch without leaven—

Once you allow a little sin to enter your life it will grow, spread, and rise like yeast or leavening agents, because the sin/yeast will spread through the entire batch of dough/body. I’ve heard it said and know it to be true, is that sin is contagious.

YAHWEH tells us in Exodus 13:7-9:

“Eat unleavened bread during those seven days; and WHATEVER IS LEAVENED IS NOT TO BE SEEN WITH YOU, AND LEAVEN IS NOT TO BE SEEN WITH YOU WITHIN ALL YOUR BORDER. On that day tell your son, ‘I do this because of what YAHWEH did for me when I came out of Egypt.” And it shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes, that the Torah of YAHWEH is to be in your mouth, for with a strong hand YAHWEH has brought you out of Egypt.”

Jubilees 1:26

“And you shall write down for yourself all these Words which I declare unto you on this mountain, the first and the last, which shall come to be in all the divisions of the days in the Law and in the Witness and in the Shabbats and the Jubilees FOREVER, UNTIL I DESCEND AND DWELL WITH THEM FOREVER.”

Does creation obey YAHWEH more than humans?

All of YAHWEH’s creation has laws and we see how they do their assigned tasks according to YAHWEH’s commandments. All the matters in the heavens, the orbit of the sun and moon, plus the sea and rivers all operate under laws that our Father is given them. Yet, the religions of this world have rebelled against His commandments and even speak harsh words against Him! By saying things like the commandments are bondage, legalism, and a curse is to speak against YAHWEH and His ways!

So did YAHWEH go to great lengths to give His entire creation laws and then say to the modern day Christian you are going to be the only lawless creation of Mine? Absolutely not! We will be exploring through the scriptures to see how perfectly YAHWEH has ordained creation with Laws and that nothing can go their own way; however, with free will you can choose to disobey like the fallen angels did, and in so doing so choose death. But first let us examine the mindset of churches toward the Creator of heaven and earth.

 Most believers today will tell you that the commandments are bondage, legalistic, and burdensome. What does scripture say?

1 John 5:3

“For this is the love for YAHWEH, that we guard His Commands, and His Commands are not burdensome.” So the love of YAHWEH is to keep His commands and they are not burdensome. What does YAHWEH think of those who say His commands are burdensome?

Leviticus 26:14-16

“But if you do not obey Me, and do not do all these Commands, and if you reject My Laws, or IF YOUR BEING LOATHES (Dislike greatly and often with disgust, Merriam-Webster) My Right-Rulings, so that you do not do all My Commands, but break My Covenant, I also do this to you: And I shall appoint sudden alarm over you, wasting disease and inflammation, destroying the eyes, and consuming the life. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat.”

James 1:25

“But he that looked into the perfect Torah, THAT OF FREEDOM, and continues in it, not becoming a hearer that forgets, but a doer of work this one shall be blessed in his doing.’

So we see that James the brother of YESHUA disagrees that the Torah is legalistic and bondage, he says the exact opposite and that the Torah is freedom. Why does he say this? Because those who disobey the commandments think they are free, but they are a slave to sin. It’s a strong delusion because they have refused to receive the love of the truth.

2 Peter 2:18-19

“For speaking arrogant nonsense, they entice (invite or lure)-through lusts of the flesh through indecencies-the ones who have indeed escaped from those living in delusion, promising them freedom, though themselves being SLAVES OF CORRUPTION-for one is a slave to whatever overcomes him.”

Romans 6:16

“Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves servants for obedience, you are servants of the one whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?”

Peter and Paul are saying how can the lawless person who says the commandments are bondage and legalistic promise freedom to someone else, when they themselves are slaves to sin! They still battle with lust of the flesh and try to lure you to do so as well with lawlessness, which is something we are supposed to being to everyday. How does scripture define sin?

1 John 3:4

“Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness (Transgression of the Torah), and sin is lawlessness.”

The problem is a lack of reverence for YAHWEH these days because there is no more fire and brimstone preaching, but mostly prosperity gospel, and with that came generations of people who don’t fear YAHWEH nor eternal punishment. A scripture from the 12 Patriarchs should help to put things in perspective.

Testament of Levi 3:5-8

“In it are the Ruling Messengers, who minister and make offerings to YAHWEH for all the sins of ignorance of the righteous; offering to YAHWEH a sweet-smelling aroma, a reasonable and a bloodless offering. And in the heaven below these are the messengers who bear answers to the messengers of the presence of YAHWEH. And in the heaven next to this are thrones and dominions, in which always they offer praise to ELOHIM. Therefore when YAHWEH LOOKS at us, all of us are shaken yes, the heavens, and the earth, and the abysses tremble at the presence of His majesty. But the sons of men, not perceiving these things, sin and provoke the anger of the Most High.”

If the Christians who say the law is done away with could only see that the angels, the heavens and earth tremble when YAHWEH only looks at them would completely change their view. But as the scripture reads, men don’t see this happening up close and personal and they continue to sin to provoke YAHWEH to anger. If they understood how holy and righteous He is then they would not be willfully sinning as they do.

Jeremiah 8:7

“Even a stork in the heavens knows her APPOINTED TIMES. And a turtledove, and a swallow, and a thrush guard the time of their coming. But My people do not know the Right-Ruling of YAHWEH.”

Very powerful words spoken by our Father YAHWEH! He is saying that the animals that He has created knows what to do and when to do it, yet those created in His image do not know how to follow His commandments. These are the same animals that YAHWEH has given us dominion over, yet they know what they are supposed to do and believers of YESHUA are lost.

Sirach 10:19

“Those who fear YAHWEH are a continual seed, and those who love Him an esteemed plant. Those who DISREGARD THE LAW ARE A SHAMEFUL SEED; those who transgress the Commands are a DECEPTIVE seed.”

Firstly notice how Sirach says that those who “LOVE” YAHWEH are an esteemed plant? And how do we love Him according to scripture?

John 14:21

“He who possesses My Commands and guards them, it is he who LOVES ME. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and manifest Myself to him.”

Those who say the law are done away with are described as the “shameful and deceptive seed.” Deceptive is defined as having power to mislead, or impress with FALSE OPINIONS. So you have to ask yourself, who in scripture is described as deceptive? Isn’t it Satan the father of lies?

Revelation 12:9

“And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who DECEIVES THE WHOLE WORLD…”

Genesis 3:1 (Parenthesis are mine)

“And the serpent was more CRAFTY (devious/deceptive/underhanded) than any beast of the field which YAHWEH ELOHIM had made…”

Does any follower of YESHUA want to be in the same category as Satan? Lies, false opinions, deceptive, underhanded, devious and lawless? Doesn’t this mean that being lawless is obeying the voice of the enemy? The book of Jashar correlates with Sirach about transgressing the command of YAHWEH and being deceptive by listening to the voice of Satan. Satan is the one saying “The law is done away with.”

Jashar 1:9-10

“And the serpent, which ELOHIM had created with them in the earth, came to them to cause them to TRANSGRESS THE COMMAND OF ELOHIM which He had commanded them. And the serpent enticed and persuaded the woman to eat from the tree of knowledge, and the woman LISTENED TO THE VOICE OF THE SERPENT, and she TRANSGRESSED THE WORD OF YAHWEH, and took from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and she ate, and she took from it and gave also to her husband and he ate.”

YAHWEH wants us to obey His laws and commandments just as He ordained for His creation and we will look at scriptures to show this and prove that there is no way that YAHWEH would allow a Christian to be the only lawless creation of His.

Scriptures proving that creation obeys YAHWEH!

Job 38:33

“Do you know the LAWS of the heavens? Or do you apply their rule over the earth?”

Jeremiah 33:19-26 (Parenthesis are mine)

“And the word of YAHWEH came to Jeremiah, saying, “Thus said YAHWEH, “If you could break My COVENANT (Hebrew word “beriyth” meaning divine ordinance, law, or decree with signs or pledges) with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there be not day and night in their season, then My covenant could also be broken with David, My servant-so that he shall not have a son to reign upon his throne-and with the Levites, the priests, My attendants. ‘As the host of the heavens is not counted, nor the sand of the sea measured, so I increase the descendants of David My servant and the Levites who attend upon Me. Verse 25 Thus said YAHWEH, ‘If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the LAWS of the heavens and the earth, then I would also reject the descendants of Jacob and David My servant…”

YAHWEH has given laws to the sun and moon to come out at their appointed times which He ordained, so we will always have the sun in the day and the moon at night.

Psalms 148:1-6

“HalleluYAH! Hallelu-YAHWEH from the heavens, praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His messengers (angels); Praise Him, sun and moon; praise him, all you stars of light! Praise Him, heavens of heavens, and you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the Name of YAHWEH, for He COMMANDED and they were created. And He established them forever and ever, HE GAVE A LAW AND THEY PASS NOT BEYOND.”

Job 28:26-27

“When He made a LAW for the rain, and a way for the lightning of thunder then He saw wisdom and declared it; He prepared it and also searched it out.”

Job 38:4-11

“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding. Who appointed its measurements, if you know? Or who stretched the line upon it? Upon what were its foundations sunk? Or who laid its corner-stone, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of Elohim shouted for joy? Or enclosed the sea with doors, when it burst forth and came from the womb; when I made the clouds its garment, and thick darkness its swaddling band; and assigned for it MY LAW, and put bars and doors; and said, ‘This far you have come, but no farther, and here your proud waves stop?”

Enoch 5:1-4

“Observe how the trees cover themselves with green leaves and bear fruit. Therefore give heed and know with regard to all His works, and recognize how He that lives forever has made them so. And all His works go on from year to year forever, and ALL THE TASKS WHICH THEY ACCOMPLISH FOR HIM, and their TASKS do not change, but according to how ELOHIM has ORDAINED, so it is done. And see, how the sea and the rivers in the same way accomplish and do not change their tasks FROM HIS COMMANDMENTS. But you, you have not been steadfast, nor done the Commandments of YAHWEH, but you have turned away and spoken proud and harsh words with your impure mouths against His greatness Oh, you hard-hearted! You shall find no peace.”

As we see Enoch mentions how creation does not change their tasks according to His commandments, yet mankind has turned and spoken proud words against His greatness, and I would consider one saying “Your laws are done away it and they are bondage” to be proud harsh words spoken against YAHWEH!

Enoch 60:11-13

“And the other messenger who went with me and showed me that what was hidden told me what is first and last in the heaven in the height, and beneath the earth in the depth, and at the ends of the heaven, and on the foundation of the heaven. And the chambers of the winds, and how the winds are divided, and how they are WEIGHED, and how the gates of the winds are reckoned, each according to the power of the wind, and the power of the lights of the moon, and according to the power that is fitting: and the divisions of the stars according to their names, and how all the divisions are divided. And the thunders according to the places where they fall, all of the divisions that are made among the lightnings that it may light up, and their host that they may AT ONCE OBEY.”

Enoch 33:1-4

“And from there I went to the ends of the earth and saw there great beasts, and each differed from the other; and I saw birds also differing in appearance and beauty and voice, the one differing from the other. And to the east of those beasts I saw the ends of the earth upon which the heaven rests, and the gates of the heaven open. And I saw how the stars of heaven come forth, and I counted the gates out of which they proceed, and wrote down all their outlets, of each individual star by itself, according to their number and their names, their courses and their positions, and their times and their months, as Uri’el the holy messenger who was with me showed me. He showed all things to me and wrote them down for me. He also wrote their names for me, and their LAWS and their companies.”

Enoch 72:1-2

“The book of the courses of the luminaries of the heaven, the relations of each, according to their classes, their dominion and their seasons, according to their names and places of origin and according to their months, which Uri’el, the holy messenger who was with me, who is their guide, showed me. And he showed me all their CALCULATIONS exactly as they are, and how it is with regard to all the years of the world and to eternity, until the NEW CREATION (New Jerusalem) is accomplished which endures until eternity. And this is the first calculation of the luminaries: the luminary the Sun has its rising in the eastern gates of the heaven, and its setting in the western gates of the heaven. And I saw six gates in which the sun rises, and six gates in which the sun sets and the moon rises and sets in these gates, and the leaders of the stars and those whom they LEAD: six in the east and six in the west, and all following each other in accurately corresponding order: also many windows to the right and left of these gates.”

Again, as we can see that all of YAHWEH’s creation has laws and certain commandments they follow. The sun goes through rises and sets in six gates as does the moon and everything is perfectly calculated. The point is to show that YAHWEH has a specific plan and law for everything that He has created; even down to the courses of the luminaries. So since we are created in His own personal image, then wouldn’t He have specific laws for us since there is a specific purpose for His entire creation?

Sirach 43:9-14

“The loveliness of the heavens, the esteem of the stars, an ornament giving light in the highest places of YAHWEH. At the COMMAND of the Holy One they STAND IN THEIR ORDER, and never weary in their watches.”

Baruk 3:33-34

“He who sends forth light, and it goes, calls it again, and it OBEYS HIM with reverence. The stars shone in their watches and rejoiced; when He calls them, they say, “Here we are.”

Ezekiel 43:11-12

“And since they shall be ashamed of all that they did, make known to them the design of the House and its structure, and its exits and its entrances, its entire design and all its LAWS, AND ALL ITS FORMS AND ALL ITS TOROT (Guidelines and Instructions). And write it down before their eyes, so that they observe its entire design and all ITS LAWS, and shall do them. This is the TORAH OF THE HOUSE: Upon the mountaintop, all the boundary of it, all around, is most kodesh (holy). See, this is the TORAH OF THE HOUSE.” So we see that YAHWEH’s creation and the heavens all have laws and so does His House that He showed Ezekiel!

Ezekiel 44:5

“And YAHWEH said to me, “Son of man, lay your heart and see with your eyes and hear with your ears, all that I say to you concerning all the LAWS OF THE HOUSE of YAHWEH and all it’s Torot (Plural form of Torah).”

Ezekiel 43:18

“And He said to me, “Son of man, thus said the Adon (Master) YAHWEH, ‘These are the LAWS FOR THE ALTAR on the day when it is made, for offering burnt offerings on it, and for sprinkling blood on it.” So now we even see the altar of YAHWEH has a law!

Jeremiah 5:24

“And they do not say in their heart, “Let us now revere YHWH our Elohim, who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season. He guards for us the LAW: The Shavuot of harvest.” And this Holy Day we are to celebrate to Him every year is found in Leviticus 23 so we see the importance of this day, because YAHWEH Himself guards it as a Law!

Animals obey His command

1 Kings: 17:2-4

“And the word of YHWH came to him, saying, “Go away form here and turn eastward, and hide by the wadi Kerith, which flows into the Jordan. And it shall be that you drink from the stream, and I shall COMMAND THE RAVENS TO FEED YOU THERE.”

Leviticus 26:21-22

“And if you walk contrary to Me, and refuse to obey Me, I shall bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins, and SEND WILD BEASTS AMONG YOU, which shall bereave you of your children…”

2 Kings 17:25-26

“And it came to be, at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they did not revere YHWH, and YHWH SENT LIONS among them, which kept slaying among them. And they spoke to the king of Assyria, saying, “The nations whom you have removed and placed in the cities of Samaria do not know the Right-Ruling of the ELOHIM of the land. And HE HAS SENT LIONS AMONG THEM, and see, they are SLAYING among them because they do not know the Right-Ruling of the ELOHIM of the land.”

Isaiah 7:18-19

“And it shall be in that day that YAHWEH whistle for the fly that is in the farthest part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria. And they shall come, and all of them shall rest in the steep ravines and I the clefts of the rocks, and on all weeds and in all pastures.”

When YAHWEH sent the plagues amongst Pharaoh and the Egyptians in Exodus 8 and 9, He commanded frogs, gnats, flies, and locusts that did a lot of damage in the land.

The point is that all creation for the earth, sun, moon, stars, seas, rivers, and animals do not transgress the commands of YAHWEH, so why does any believer in YESHUA?

The evidence is overwhelming

If you have not been keeping the commandments up until this point, I pray that you start to do them and realize the importance of this. How can everything have a law, but you can be lawless? As we see our ELOHIM is an ELOHIM order and not chaos.

Wisdom 6:17-18

“For the very true beginning of her (Wisdom)  is the desire of discipline; and the concern of discipline is love; and love is the KEEPING OF HER LAWS; and guarding her Laws is the assurance of INCORRUPTION.”

Merriam-Webster defines incorruption as the quality or state of being free from physical decay. So keeping the commandments and clinging to YESHUA is how you achieve eternal life.

Baruk 4:1-2

“This the Book of the Commands of ELOHIM, and the LAW that endures FOREVER; all those who guard it shall attain LIFE, but those who leave is shall die. Turn, O Jacob, and take hold of it; walk in the presence of its light, that you may be illuminated.”

How does scripture define light?

 Proverbs 6:23 “For the command is a lamp and the Torah is a Light.”

So Baruk is saying that those who keep the commandments that were never done away with will lead to eternal life, but those who reject the Torah shall die. And we see that the Torah is a Light according to Proverbs 6:23, so walk in the presence of the Torah and be illuminated by it.

Psalms 119:105

“Your word is a LAMP for my feet, and a LIGHT to my path.”

YESHUA summarized Himself as being The Torah when He said in John 14:6 “I am the WAY, and the TRUTH, and the LIFE.”

I AM THE WAY----Psalms 119: 1 “Blessed are the perfect in the Way, who walk in the Torah of YHWH.”

I AM THE TRUTH----Psalms 119:142 “Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and Your Torah is truth.”

I AM THE LIFE----Proverbs 13:14 “The Torah of the wise is a fountain of Life.”

Sadly, many are wanting to walk with YESHUA and celebrate the wicked, lawless, traditions of men at the same time like the follow scripture.

2 Kings 17:41

“So these nations were revering YAHWEH, AND served their carved images, both their children and their children’s children. As their ancestors did, they are doing to this day.”

Believers are doing this today by saying they are serving YAHWEH and yet serving Baal on Sunday, Xmas, Easter, and then pass this lawlessness down to their children and the cycle continues. Someone in the family has to break this generational curse and stand up follow YAHWEH as He commanded and repent, and tear down the high places and idols that your ancestors have put up. This must stop immediately and you must choose who you are going to serve, either YAHWEH and His Laws, or Satan and his lawlessness.

1 Kings 18:21

“And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long would you keep hopping between two opinions? If YAHWEH is ELOHIM, follow Him; and if Ba’al, follow him…”

Joshua 24:15

“And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve YAHWEH, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve, whether the mighty ones which your ancestors served that were beyond the River, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But I and my house, we serve YAHWEH.”

The choice is yours my fellow brothers and sisters, so choose wisely and follow YAHWEH and be obedient to His commands and cling to His Son YESHUA. As always may our Father YAHWEH bless you all in YESHUA’s Name!

Beware of meat sacrificed to idols and blood!

We as followers of YESHUA have to remember that our ELOHIM of Yisra’el has called us out of the world to be separate and holy to Him. Everything from wearing the tsitsit/fringes, to the dietary laws, to the Sabbath are automatic indicators to the world that you are different, and show that you belong to YAHWEH. Obedience is better than sacrifice; therefore, we must do all we can to obey our Father in the shamayim (heavens).

Leviticus 19:2

“Speak to all the congregation of the children of Yisra’el, and say to them, ‘Be kodesh (holy), for I YAHWEH your ELOHIM am kodesh.”

We will discuss not eating blood, or meat that has been strangled or died within itself, kosher meat, and not eating meat sacrificed to idols.

Consequences of eating blood/strangled meat

Genesis 9:4-5

“But do not eat flesh with its life, its blood.”

Genesis 17:10-14

“And any man of the house of Yisra’el, or of the strangers who sojourn among you, who eats ANY blood, I shall turn My face against that being who eats blood, and shall cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your lives, for it is the blood that makes atonement for the life.’ “Therefore I said to the children of Yisra’el, ‘No being among you eats blood; nor does any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood.’ And any man from the children of Yisra’el, or from the strangers who sojourn among you, who hunts and catches any beast or bird, which is eaten, shall pour out its blood and cover it with dust, for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood is for its life. And I said to the children of Yisra’el, ‘Do not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Anyone eating it is cut off.’

Leviticus 19:26

“Do not eat with the blood. Do not practice divination or magic.”

 Deuteronomy 12:16

“Only the blood you do not eat, pour it on the earth like water.” Verse 23-25 “Only, be firm not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, do not eat the life with the meat. Do not eat it, you pour it on the earth like water. Do not eat it, that it might be well with you and your children after you, even you do what is right in the eyes of YAHWEH.”

Jubilees 6:7-14

“But flesh, with its life, with the blood, you shall not eat; for the life of all flesh is in the blood, lest your blood of your lives be required. At the hand of every man, at the hand of every beast, I shall require the blood of man. Verse 12 “And this Witness is written concerning you that you should observe it continually so that you should not eat on any day, any blood of beasts or birds or cattle during ALL the days of the earth, and the man who eats the blood of beast or of cattle or of birds during all the days of the earth, he and his seed shall be rooted out of the land. And you shall command the children of Yisra’el to eat NO blood, so that their names and their seed may be before YAHWEH our ELOHIM continually. And for this Law there is NO LIMIT OF DAYS, for it is forever. They shall observe it throughout their generations, so that they may continue atonement on your behalf with blood before the altar...”

Jubilees 7:28-32

“For whoever sheds man’s blood, and whoever eats the blood of any flesh, will be destroyed from the earth. And there shall not be left ANY MAN that eats blood, or that sheds the blood of man on the earth, nor shall there be left to him any seed or descendants living under heaven. For into Sheol they shall go, and into the place of condemnation shall they descend, and into the darkness of the deep shall they all be removed by a violent death.”

1 Samuel 14:32-34

“And the people pounced on the spoil, and took sheep, and cattle, and calves, and slaughtered them on the ground. And the people ATE WITH THE BLOOD.” And they told Sha’ul saying, “Look, the people are SINNING against YAHWEH by eating with the blood!” And he said, “You have acted treacherously. Roll a large stone to me today.” And Sha’ul said, “Disperse among the people, and say to them, ‘Each one bring his ox near to me, and each one his sheep, and you shall slaughter them here, and eat. And do not sin against YAHWEH by eating with the blood.” So every one of the people brought his ox with him that night, and slaughtered it there.”

So think about this the next time before you eat any rare or medium-well steaks as it would contain the life blood of the animal. Also, have you noticed at times when you are deep frying chicken that blood will run out of the meat and you continue to let it fry in the grease? This would mean that you are doing nothing more than eating fried blood.

 The companies that sell meat say that the red liquid is not blood but rather a liquid called myoglobin. This is how it’s defined:  The more myoglobin content meat contains the darker red it will appear in color. Myoglobin content is higher in beef and lower in poultry with lamb and pork having intermediate amounts. The age of an animal will also impact the myoglobin content of the muscles with older animals having more myoglobin and darker meat. Muscles that are used for movement also have more myoglobin content than muscles used for support. Along with water from muscle, myoglobin is what is found in meat packages that leaks out of the muscles during storage and most people think is blood. ALMOST all of blood is removed from muscle at the time of slaughter.

Notice how their process says that ALMOST ALL OF THE BLOOD IS REMOVED FROM THE MUSCLE? Every scripture that was covered above YAHWEH says do not eat ANY blood at all! So “almost” does not meet His standards which means the meat can still contain blood. So what if you are eating myoglobin and a mixture of blood? I cannot speak for anyone else, but to me that is too big of risk to sin before our ELOHIM!

  I remember my grandma used to buy meat and then soak it in water and add salt to the water to draw out the blood; however, being that we are not slaughtering our own animals I would try to get it from a kosher place, in case the meat was sacrificed to idols which I will cover later in this article.

For example a kosher place will do the following to ensure that there is no blood in the meat: All kosher meat and poultry must undergo a special process to remove it. The meat or poultry is soaked in clean water for thirty minutes, then removed to drip dry. After a few minutes of dripping, the meat is salted and left to hang for sixty minutes to further draw out any remaining blood. After sixty minutes of salting, the meat is washed three times in cold, clean water to remove any remaining salt. The result: clean, fresh, and kosher meat. After the final washing, the meat is dried, further butchered into retail cuts.

I can guarantee that these mass slaughter houses are not doing this extra step because it is not cost effective or them. All they tell you is that they slaughter the animal with an unknown method and tell you the animal’s diet of grass-fed or grain fed and that is about it. And as you already know the extra steps to ensure the blood is removed increases the cost of kosher meat.

Strangled meat fits into the same category as not eating blood because this means that ALL the blood has NOT been properly drained out of the animal for the reasons I outlined above; therefore, you would indirectly be eating blood even if you didn’t mean to. Strangled meat is meat that is not slaughtered according to how ELOHIM prescribes it which is called “exsanguination” or bleeding out; therefore, there would be no blood left in the muscles of the meat. Which is why all the scriptures listed above say “pour out the blood on the earth like water.”

Acts 15:28

“For it seemed good to the RUACH HA’KODESH, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessities: that you abstain for what is OFFERED TO IDOLS, AND BLOOD, AND WHAT IS STRANGLED, and whoring. If you keep yourselves from these, you shall do well. Be strong!”

What to look for when buying meat?

So if you are going to buy meat try to get it as close to Biblically kosher as you can. I personally abstain from eating meat accept for ONE time out of the year and that is on Passover when we commanded to eat Lamb roasted in fire. I get it from a Kosher place called KOL foods because they are the closest to biblically Kosher that I have seen. I’m not saying they are perfect, but they meet the criteria for the best I can get while be scattered to the four corners. And again, it’s once a year for me, and in no way am I pushing off my diet on anyone, I’m just making it clear how serious I take this.

These questions that you are going to have to ask yourself and the person you are purchasing meat from. As we can see YAHWEH is very serious about the meat that we consume, so this topic of meat is not something to brush off.

Sacrificed to idols

We should NEVER eat meat that has been sacrificed to idols under any circumstances! For example if you see the word “halal” or their logo stamped on the meat that means that they pray and bless that meat in the name of “Allah” and means that meat has been sacrificed/slaughtered to Allah and not YAHWEH!

1 Samuel 9:13

“As you come into the city, you are going to find him (Samuel) before he goes up to the high place to eat. For the people DO NOT EAT, until he comes for he BLESSES THE SLAUGHTERING, afterward they who are invited to eat.”

The same way we see the righteous Samuel blessing the slaughtering in the Name of YAHWEH before eating is what the Muslims do when they slaughter their meat which is why Halal is written on the package. Believers in YESHUA should avoid this meat altogether.

 Revelation 2:14

“But I hold a little against you, because you have there those who adhere to the teaching of Bil’am, who taught Balak to put a stumbling-block before the children of Yisra’el, to eat OFFERINGS TO IDOLS, AND TO COMMIT WHORING.”

Revelation 2:20

“But I hold against you that you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and lead My servants astray to commit whoring and to eat OFFERINGS TO IDOLS.”

2 Maccabees 6:7 (Parenthesis are mine)

“And every month in the day of the kings birth (Antiochus Epiphanies) they (Jews) were taken under bitter constraint (to force or produce in an unnatural or strained manner) to EAT OF THE OFFERINGS; and when the fast of Dionusos was kept, the Jews were compelled to go in the procession of Dionusos carrying ivy.”

Acts 15:28

“For it seemed good to the RUACH HA’KODESH, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessities: that you abstain for what is OFFERED TO IDOLS, AND BLOOD, AND WHAT IS STRANGLED, and whoring. If you keep yourselves from these, you shall do well. Be strong!”

YESHUA Himself says that it is a sin to eat offerings of idols and the Book of Maccabees shows how some Jews were forced to eat it, which is a great indicator that the Greeks knew it was a sin for the people of YAHWEH to eat this kind of meat. The same way they tried to force the Jews to eat pigs flesh because they knew it was a violation of the Torah.

 Another reason why I would not recommend buying random meat from anywhere such as stores like Food Lion, Walmart, or any random market is because most farms are unbelievers and they don’t have the same laws in mind when slaughtering animals.

 And eating meat at any restaurant without knowing where it comes from or what deity it may have been sacrificed to is a serious question to consider. An article that should raise some eyebrows is on: mia.zo.nz on their website states on their frequently asked questions “How much New Zealand meat is Halal and why?

Answer: While there are no official statistics on halal production in New Zealand, nearly ALL of New Zealand’s red meat export slaughter premises are certified to undertake slaughter in compliance with HALAL REQUIREMENTS. This gives the New Zealand red meat industry the flexibility to export different cut from a single carcass to the best-returning markets. The industry currently serves some 120 markets worldwide.”

The same website has another frequently asked question Who decides if New Zealand meat is labeled “Halal?”

Answer: In countries where halal certification and labelling is not a compulsory requirement, the decision is often the RETAILERS, as New Zealand meat is often not exported in “retail-ready form. The final packaging is generally done by the RETALIER in the market.”

As we see it is up to the retailer to decide whether they want to label Halal slaughtered meat “Halal” or not. And also nearly all of the meat coming from New Zealand is Halal certified and they serve a large market serving 120 markets around the world, so you can be eating Halal meat without even knowing it. Which is why I highly recommend you be careful what you eat because YESHUA does not approve of this.

Dailymail.co.uk has an article by Sean Poulter for the Daily Mail written in 2010 titled “More than 70% of New Zealand lamb imports to Britain are halal but you wouldn’t know it from the label.”

Poulter writes “All of the slaughter men in these establishments must be Muslim and say a prayer when making the cut across the animal’s throat which kills it. The New Zealand meat industry has taken the step to ensure its lamb can be sold in Muslim markets round the world. It emerged last week that British restaurant chains and venues such as Wembly and Ascot are serving up different types of halal meat WITHOUT TELLING THE CUSTOMERS.”

The Food Inc, documentary says that there are only 3 to 4 top producers of the meat industry that control most of the mass-produced feed-lot meat out there, and we see that New Zealand is shipping to 120 markets, this is alarming.

This is serious my fellow brothers and sisters and we know that Satan is crafty at what he does, so if he can indirectly get you to get meat sacrificed to idols then he will do it. I know many will point to Paul saying if you are unaware of the meat being sacrificed to an idol then consume it because an idol is nothing in this world, and I do agree with Paul when he mentioned not to eat meat sacrificed to an idol. I would say that YESHUA did not add any criteria to His words, He simply said do not eat offerings to idols, so in my opinion this isn’t a topic to take lightly and saying “Well I didn’t know!” And furthermore, Mathew 18:16 says out of the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established and we have YESHUA, The Holy Spirit, and Apostles speaking against it.

Animal died within itself and torn by wild beasts

If you have ever watched a documentary about how modern day slaughter houses handle their cows and chickens you would be convinced to stop eating that mass produced meat. I want to shed light on some things you may be unfamiliar with and see how serious this topic is.

In an article from freeladythinker.com writes about Nestle, the world’s largest dairy company. “At the farm, COK captured some of the most inhumane treatment they say they have ever witnessed, including gruesome violence against mother cows and their calves. The video revealed “downed cows” – cows who cannot walk or stand on their own-hoised up by their hips using metal clamps and dragged by tractors. In one instance, a manager shot a “downed” cow in the head, and she suffered in agony for almost a minute before she was shot again and died. The MEAT from the “downed” cows like here was usually doled out to the employees in garbage bags.” “In another shocking incident, a manager stabbed a cow with no anesthesia in a misguided attempt to treat a stomach malady. Workers kicked, stomped on and hit cows, or sprayed them in the face with scalding water just to make them move faster.”

Also the Food Inc documentary will show you how chickens are raised in chicken houses, stacked up on top of each other, feces everywhere, and they rarely see daylight. I point this out to ask, do you think YAHWEH wants His children to eat meat that has been produced this way? Is this meat sitting on the store shelves you purchase from? We see that meat from the cow that suffered was eaten according to the article.

YAHWEH also says do not eat meat of an animal that died within itself such as natural causes, sickness, a disease or died of old age etc. We are also commanded to not eat anything that has been torn by beasts such as the animal being attacked or torn to pieces by a wolf or lion for example. The Hebrew word Te-re-pah Strong’s #2966 means prey, flocks devoured by animals. So let’s go over some scriptures concerning all of these issues:

Ezekiel 4:14

“Then I said, “Ah, Adonai YAHWEH! See, I have never defiled myself from my youth till now. I have never eaten what DIED of itself OR was torn by beasts, nor has unclean meat ever come into my mouth.”

Genesis 31:39

“That which was torn by beasts I did not bring to you, I myself bore the loss of it. You required it from my hand, whether stolen by day or stolen by night.”

Exodus 22:31

“And you are holy men to Me, and you do not eat any meat which is torn to pieces in the field, you throw it to the dogs.”

Leviticus 7:24

“And the fat of a dead body, and the fat of what is torn, is used for any purpose, but you do not eat it at all.”

Leviticus 17:15

“And any being who eats a carcass or what was torn by a beast, be he a native or stranger, he shall wash his garments and bathe in water, and shall be unclean until evening. Then he shall be clean. And if he does not wash or bathe his body, then he shall bear his wickedness.”

Leviticus 22:8

“He does not eat that which dies OR is torn by beasts, becoming unclean by it. I am YAHWEH.”

Deuteronomy 14:21

“Do not eat whatever DIES of itself. Give it to the stranger who is within your gates, to eat it, or sell it to a foreigner. For you are holy people to YAHWEH your ELOHIM…”

There are two types of strangers/foreigners in scripture, there is the Ger which is the righteous gentile proselyte/convert who is grafted into the Nation of Yisra’el and keeps the commandments as the native-born and there is the Nekar the stranger who is just passing through and has not joined himself with Yisra’el, so the Nekar is the one who can this meat. Not the gentile who is walking with YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA because they are just like the native-born.

What else to look for?

Also a good kosher place will feed the animals grass and will be grass finished. This means that the cow or lamb ate 100% grass or hay throughout its entire life. Many companies today will feed their cows 70% grass and about 30% grain which throws off the omega 3 to omega 6 ratio, CLA, and other healthy fats, which in turn changes the health benefits of meat.

Leviticus 11:3

“Whatever has a split hoof completely divided, chewing the cud, among the beasts, that you do eat.”

Cud defined by blurtit.com says:

Cud is a portion of food that returns from an animal’s stomach to the mouth to be chewed for the second time. Cud is produced during a digestive process called rumination. Cattle, deer, sheep, goats and antelope are some examples of animals that chew their cud. When cud-chewing animals eat their food, some of the food is stored in a special pouch within its stomach. It later regurgitates this stored food, or cud, and begins to chew it again.

So chewing cud is grass/hay which is the natural process of a cow that YAHWEH has given them for a reason. This special process of chewing the cud aka grass or hay makes for healthier, natural meat the way ELOHIM intended. The Food Inc documentary admits twice that cows were made to eat grass and when the cows are fed a grain diet it produces E-coli in their first stomach of the cow.

 Also, good kosher meat will have no hormones or antibiotics which none of us should be eating anyway because it is not natural. The hormones and antibiotics go into your bloodstream and can interfere with your endocrine system.

I pray this was helpful and helped shed some light on this topic about meat and blood. We have to remember that YAHWEH wants us to live, eat, and dress a certain way to be holy unto Him. This message isn’t to judge anyone but to clarify what the scriptures say and wants going on with the meat industry. As always to take everything to our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA in prayer.

Control your tongue and stop cursing!

The topic of the tongue is a serious one that needs to be addressed especially among the Body of Messiah. We will be discussing idle words, gossiping, profanity, taming the tongue, and the war of words amongst believers because of disagreements.

Mathew 12:36-37

“And I say to you that for every idle WORD men speak, they shall give an account of it in the Day of Judgment. For by your WORDS you shall be declared righteous, and by your WORDS you shall be declared unrighteous.”

YESHUA said that we will be held accountable for every idle word that we speak. Idle defined by vocabulary.com can mean having no value or purpose: idle rumors are rumors that people make up when bored, but have no grounding in fact. This is a serious question to ask yourself, how many times have you spoken words that have no value or purpose at all? Does celebrity gossip or sports have any value at all? This just a small example of what the word means. We have to keep this in mind about being held accountable for every idle word we speak because Enoch confirms that every sin is being recorded in heaven in the presence of YAHWEH.

Enoch 98:7

“And do not think in your spirit nor say in your heart that you do not know, and that you do not see that every sin is recorded in the heavens EVERY DAY till the day of your judgment.”

Beware of dirty jokes and some form of jokes Proverbs 26:19 “So is a man who deceived his neighbor, and says, “I was only joking!” Meaning that someone will say or do something to harm someone else and then play it off by saying it was just a joke. Sometimes people will do this and then gauge the reaction of the person and if it is not well received they will say “I was just joking!” Our thoughts and our words should be on advancing the Kingdom ELOHIM and keeping His commandments.

Sirach 9:15-16

“Let your WORDS be with the wise, and ALL your talk in the Law of the Most High.”

Joshua 1:8

“Do not let this Book of the Torah depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous and act wisely.”

Exodus 13:9

“And it shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes, that the Torah of YAHWEH is to be in your mouth, for with a strong hand YAHWEH has brought you out of Egypt.”

We have all heard the saying that sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt you, right? We all know that this is a lie because words cut deep and once you say it you can never take it back. Solomon disagrees that words don’t hurt:

Proverbs 15:4

“The tongue of the wise makes knowledge good, but the mouth of fools pours out foolishness. The eyes of YAHWEH are in every place, watching the evil and good. A healing tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness (or cruel tongue) in it crushes the spirit.”

Mathew 15:18

“But what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and these defile a man.”

Luke 6:45

 “The good man brings forth what is good out of the good treasure of his heart, and the wicked man brings forth what is wicked out of the wicked treasure of his heart. For out of the overflow of the heart his mouth speaks.”

When someone starts calling names or spewing off from the mouth all they are doing is speaking what was hidden in their heart. Reprove your brother in kindness, but don’t let it fester into a hatred and speak words that cannot ever been taken back.

Proverbs 18:21-23

“Death and life are in the power of the TONGUE, and those loving it eat its fruit.”

We have to remember that ELOHIM spoke the world into existence, so words are powerful. YAHWEH even told Moses to speak to the rock in Numbers 20:8

“Take the rod and assemble the congregation, you and your brother Aaron. And you shall SPEAK to the rock before their eyes, and it shall give its water. And you shall bring water for them out of the rock and give drink to the congregation and their livestock.”

So words do not just fall to the ground they manifest either for the good or evil. So with that said let us choose our words wisely.

Curse words/Profanity

There are many in this world including Pastors and many within the Hebrew Israelite camps who use profanity which are also known as curse words or swear words, and they are all called curse words for a reason.

Wikipedia defines profanity as: Profanity is socially offensive language,[1] WHICH MAY ALSO BE CALLED cursing, cussing or swearing, cuss words (American English vernacular), curse words, swear words, bad words, or expletives. Used in this sense, profanity is language that is sometimes considered by certain parts of a culture to be strongly impolite, rude, or offensive. It can show a debasement of someone or something,[2] or be considered as an expression of strong feeling towards something.

In its OLDER, more LITERAL SENSE, "profanity" refers to a lack of respect for things that are held to be SACRED, which implies anything inspiring or deserving of reverence, as well as behavior showing similar disrespect or causing religious offense.[3]

Swearing/curse words which is included in the definition of profanity is defined by the New York Times article titled “A case for cursing” as a swear word which suggests BLASPHEMY — invoking a deity to empower your words.

The oxford dictionary defines curse words as a swear word, an offensive word, used especially as an expression of anger. Some synonyms are expletive, obscenity, oath, CURSE, dirty word, and four-letter word.

As we can see there is nothing righteous about using these words. I remember when I was growing up that these curse words were prevented from being played on TV or on the radio, but now they are accepted by society. If these words were once not accepted for the reasons that I outline above no more than a few years ago, then that should be further evidence that these words were not allowed to be aired for a reason. This world is moving towards more lawlessness with each passing day. These foul words can also be used to PROFANE things that are held sacred hence the word PROFAN-ITY. Profane is literally built right into the word, so if you are using these words especially as a follower of YESHUA please go to Him and repent.

Colossians 3:8

“But now, also put off all these: displeasure, wrath, evil, BLASPHEMY (included in definition), FILTHY TALK FROM YOUR MOUTH.”

Sirach 23:13

“Do not use your mouth to SWEAR rashly, for in these words there is sin”

Psalms 59:12

“The sin of their mouth is the words of their lips, and they are captured in their pride, and for the CURSING and lying they utter.”

Ecclesiastes 10:20

“Do not CURSE the king, even in your thought; do not CURSE the rich, even in your bedroom; for a bird of the heavens conveys the VOICE, and a bird in flight makes the matter known.”

Enoch 95:4

“Woe to you who speak out CURSES which cannot be reversed: healing shall therefore be far from you because of your sins.”

Proverbs 4:24

“Turn away from you a crooked mouth, and put perverse lips from you.”

Proverbs 17:20

“He who has a crooked heart finds no good, and he who has a perverse tongue falls into evil.”

Verses concerning the tongue and fighting amongst believers

Sirach 5:12-15

“Esteem and shame is in speech; and the tongue of man is his downfall. Do not be a whisper, and do not lie in wait with your tongue; for foul shame is upon the thief, and an evil condemnation upon the double-tongued. Do not be ignorant of any matter, small or great.”

Job 2:10

“But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Indeed, should we accept good from ELOHIM, and not accept evil? In all this Job did not sin with his LIPS.”

James 3:3-10

“Look, we put bits in the mouths of horses, for them to obey us, and we turn their body. Look at the ships too: although they are so big and are driven by strong winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot intends. So too the tongue is a little member, yet boasts greatly. See how a little fire kindles a great forest! And the tongue is a fire, the world of unrighteousness. Like a forest among our members the tongue is placed, the one defiling the ENTIRE BODY, and lighting on fire the course of generations, rolling from the beginning and in the end is lit on fire itself. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man is able to tame the tongue. It is unruly evil, filled with deadly poison. With it we bless our ELOHIM and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of ELOHIM. Out of the same mouth proceed blessings and cursing.”

Sadly within the Body of Messiah this is what is happening. Many say they are living for YESHUA and bless His Name and then turn around and curse their fellow brother made in the image of ELOHIM, simply because they disagreed with you about how YAHWEH or YESHUA’s Name is pronounced. I personally have many brothers and sisters who call our Creator by different Names whether it be Yahuah, Yahava, Yehovah for the Father and Yahshua, Yahushua for the Son, yet we all have the same like mind when it comes to doctrine, which is based on the Torah and belief in YESHUA being the Son of YAHWEH who died for our sins and rose on the third day and being led by the RUACH HA’KODESH who leads us into all truth.

Yet, many will still fight over His Name despite the same foundation of truth and start calling each other names and belittling them over the disagreement or which calendar to follow. And I have even seen many go as far as saying “They don’t have the Spirit in them!” This is done through verbal words or typed words through texts or message boards. This is exactly what James was referring to and I highly encourage ALL within in the Body of Messiah to stop this ASAP! This does nothing but cause division and you are cutting your brethren with words.

Ephesians 4:29

“Let no corrupt word come out of your mouth, but only such as is good for the use of building up, so as to impart what is pleasant to the hearers.”

We are supposed to be building each other up in love and not tearing each other down with hate and corrupt words.

Proverbs 11:9

“The defiled one destroys his neighbor with his mouth, but the righteous is delivered by knowledge.”

1 John 4:20

“If someone says, “I love ELOHIM,” and hates his brother, he is a liar. For the one not loving his brother whom he has seen, how is he able to love YAHWEH whom he has not seen?”

Guard your mouth

Sirach 28:25

“Weigh your words in a balance, and make a door and bar for your mouth.”

Psalms 141:3

“O YAHWEH, place a guard for my mouth; watch over the door of my lips.”

Proverbs 10:19

“When words are many, transgression is not absent, but he who restrains his lips is wise.”

Proverbs 21:23

“Whoever guards his mouth and tongue guards his life from distresses.

Proverbs 17:27-28

“He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is cool of spirit.”

Sirach 14:1-2

“Blessed is the man that has not slipped with his mouth, and is not pierced with the great number of sins.”

Sirach 4:29

“Do not be hasty with your tongue, or slack and negligent in your deeds.”

Sirach 9:18

“A man of an evil tongue is dangerous in his city; and he who is hasty with his words shall be hated.”

Psalms 52:2-4

“Your tongue devises destruction, like a sharp razor, working deceit. You loved evil more than good, lying more than speaking righteousness. Selah. You loved all devouring words, O tongue of deceit.”

Psalms 34:13

“Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit.”

Proverbs 15:1

“A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up displeasure.

Ever heard someone say it isn’t’ what you say, but how you say it? This is what Solomon is saying, is that you can choose the proper words and tone to deliver a message, it will change the outcome. However, the same message spoke in a condescending, matter of fact, belittling tongue can put someone on the defensive.

Sirach 23:15

“The man who is accustomed to insulting words shall never be instructed all the days of his life.”

Sadly some people are so used to insulting others that it becomes natural to them and they don’t even realize they are doing it. No one should ever become accustomed to putting down others.

Gossiping words

Gossip is defined as a person who habitually spreads intimate (personal) or private rumors or facts, also trivial chatty talk or writing. We know this is someone who is talking about someone else and most of the time it’s based off of heresy, which others will accept as factual information. People whisper these words because they don’t want others to hear what they are saying because it’s improper speech.

1 Timothy 5:13

“Moreover, they learn to be idle, going about from house to house, and not only idle but also GOSSIPS and busybodies, speaking what is IMPROPER.”

Sirach 19:6-10

“And he who hates gossip shall have less evil. Do not repeat to another that which is told to you, and you shall not suffer harm. Whether to friend or enemy, do not speak of another’s life; and if you may without offense, do not reveal them. For if he hears and sees you, so in time to come he shall hate you. If you have a word, let it die with you…”

Wisdom 1:11

“Therefore beware of grumbling, which is useless, and keep your tongue from secrecy. For no secret word is without evil, and a lying mouth destroys the being.”

I pray this helps anyone who is struggling with the words they speak, cursing, insulting others, or gossiping. Repent if this applies to you and ask our ELOHIM to help you bridle your tongue for the tongue is the smallest part of body, but yet it can do a lot of damage, so let us be careful! Did you know Abraham and Noah did this?

A lot of believers today have been lied to by saying that all the commandments are for the Jews, however we know that Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot the 12 Tribes of Yisra’el and one of his sons names was Judah, this where the Jews come from. So the Jews are just one of the 12 Tribes of Yisra’el and we see that Abraham existed before them all. People will also tell you that Abraham lived by faith alone and will point to Hebrews 11 which some called the “Hall of Faith.” So is this true that he lived by faith alone?

In the 66 Books of the Bible we see that Abraham kept the commandments, but the Book of Jubilees goes into greater detail about it. And we know that Paul writes in Galatians 3:27-29

“For as many of you as were immersed (baptized) in Messiah have put on Messiah. There is not Jew nor Greek, there is not slave nor free, there is not male and female, for you are all ONE in Messiah YESHUA. And if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Abraham, and heirs according to the promise.”

Since we are the seed of Abraham and heirs according to the promise; then shouldn’t we be following in the footsteps of Abraham and our ancestors by keeping the commandments and living by faith?

 YESHUA is fulfilling the role of our High Priest in heaven taking over the function that the earthly priests did from the tribe of Levi, but I want to point out that Abraham and Noah were obedient to the Torah even down to doing priestly functions before the Levites, which will be will be an eye opener for most. I just wanted to point out some interesting parallel scriptures to show that Abraham was obeying the Torah the very thing which Christianity says is “done away with” and that he did not just live by faith alone. Which further proves the Torah is eternal (lasting forever). Enoch 99:2 “Woe to them who pervert the words of uprightness, and transgress the ETERNAL LAW (lasting forever Law).

 We will look at the parallels between the 66 Books and Jubilees:

Genesis 18:19

“For I have known him, so that he commands his children and his household after him, to guard the Way of YAHWEH, to do righteousness and Right-Ruling…”

What is the Way of YAHWEH and righteousness according to scripture?

Psalms 119:1

“Blessed are the perfect in THE WAY, who walk in the TORAH of YAHWEH?” We see that Abraham guarded the Torah of YAHWEH and this is confirmed in the book of Jubilees with exact same wording.

Deuteronomy 6:25

“And it is righteousness for us when we guard to do all these Commands before YAHWEH our ELOHIM, as He has commanded us.”

Jubilees 20:1-2

“And in the forty-second Jubilee, in the first year of the seventh week, Abraham called Ishmael, and his twelve sons, and Isaac and his two sons, and the six sons of Keturah, and their sons. And he commanded them that they should observe The Way of YAHWEH; that they should work righteousness, and each love his neighbor, and act in this manner among all men; that they should each so walk with regard to them as to do Right-Ruling and righteousness on the earth.”

So we see the key words from Genesis 18:19 which are The Way of YAHWEH, righteousness, and Right-Ruling are found in Jubilees 20:1-2.

Genesis 26:5

“Because Abraham obeyed My voice and guard My Charge: My Commands, My Laws, and My Torot (Plural form of Torah).

Sirach 44:19-20

“Abraham was a great father of many people; there was none like him in esteem; who kept the LAW OF THE MOST HIGH, and was in Covenant with Him.”

Before the Levites followed Levitical Law Abraham was doing it!

Testament of Levi 9:6-14

“And Isaac called me (Levi) continually to put me in remembrance of the Torah of YAHWEH, even as the messenger of YAHWEH showed me. And he taught me the Torah of the priesthood, of slaughterings, ascension offerings, first-fruits, freewill offerings, and peace offerings. And each day that he was instructing me, he worked on my behalf before YAHWEH, and said to me, beware of the spirit of whoring; for this will continue and by your seed will pollute set-apart place. Therefore, take to yourself a wife without blemish or pollution, while you are still young; and not the race of strange nations. And bathe before entering into the set-apart place. And when you offer the slaughterings, wash, and then again when you finish. And when you finish the slaughtering, present twelve leafy trees, and offer them to YAHWEH, as ABRAHAM also taught ME. And every CLEAN BEAST and BIRD offer a slaughtering to YAHWEH. And of all your first-fruits and of wine offer the first, as an offering to YAHWEH ELOHIM; and every slaughtering you will season with SALT.”

As we see Abraham showed his son Isaac and Isaac showed Jacob’s son Levi everything that he was shown to prepare him. Even Noah followed this command of offering every clean beast and every clean bird for an offering as we saw from the Testament of Levi:

Genesis 8:20

“And Noah built an altar to YAHWEH, and took of every CLEAN beast and of every CLEAN bird, and offered BURNT OFFERINGS on the altar.”

Jubilees 6:1-3

“And on the new moon of the third month he (Noah) went out from the ark, and built an altar on the mountain. And he made atonement for the earth, and took a young goat and made atonement with its blood for all the guilt of the earth; for all that had been on it had been destroyed, except those that were in the ark of Noah. And he placed the fat of it on the altar, and he took a bull, and a goat, and male goat, and SALT, and a turtledove, and the young pigeon, and placed a burnt offering on the altar, and poured an offering on it mixed with oil, and sprinkled wine and spread frankincense over all, and caused a sweet fragrance to arise, acceptable before YAHWEH.”

Firstly, notice how Noah knew which animals were clean and unclean before the dietary laws in Leviticus 11? This is clear evidence that Noah was already observing the Torah. Scripture makes it clear to us that Noah offered only the clean beasts and birds just as Abraham and Isaac provided the same offering to YAHWEH. Furthermore, notice how Noah offered a “Burnt Offering” to YAHWEH? That means that he was following Torah and offering sacrifices before we see it mentioned in Leviticus. So Noah, Abraham, and Isaac all obeyed the Torah well before there ever was a mention of a Jew.

Leviticus 1:3

“If his offering is a BURNT offering of the herd, let him bring a male, a perfect one. Let him bring it at the door of the Tent of Appointment, for his acceptance before YAHWEH.”

Jubilees 7:20

“And in the twenty-eighth Jubilee Noah began to command his sons’ sons the LAWS AND COMMANDS, and all the Right-Rulings that he knew, and he urged his sons to observe RIGHTEOUSNESS, and to cover the shame of their flesh, and to bless their creator, and honor dad and mother, and love their neighbor, and guard their beings from whoring and uncleanness and all wickedness.”

Again, we not only was Noah obeying the commandments but he also taught his sons’ sons the laws.  We can see that Noah was telling them to observe the Torah of YAHWEH which is righteousness. There is also further proof found in Enoch that the Torah was being obeyed during Noah’s time:

Enoch 106:9-13

“And he (Methusaleh)  answered and said, “I have come to you (Enoch) because of great anxiety, and have approached because of a disturbing vision. And now my dad, hear me. A son (Noah) has been born to my son Lamek, the like of whom there is none, and his nature is not like man’s nature, and the color of his body is whiter than snow and redder than the bloom of a rose, and the hair of his head is whiter than white wool, and his eyes are like the rays of the sun, and he opened his eyes and lit up the whole house. And he arose in the hands of the midwife, and opened his mouth and blessed the Master of heaven.  And his dad Lamek became afraid and fled to me, and did not believe that he was sprung from him, but thought that he was born in the likeness of the messengers of heaven. And behold I have come to you that you may make the truth known to me.” And I, Enoch answered and said to him, YAHWEH will RENEW HIS TORAH ON THE EARTH, just as I saw, and made known to you that in the generation my dad Jared some of the angels of heaven transgressed the word of the Maser, the law of heaven.”

So the Torah existed before the flood and after the flood it was to be renewed starting with Noah. HalleluYAH! This how Noah already knew what to do regarding the Torah because he was already obeying it.

Peace offering parallels

Jubilees 21:8-9

“And you shall offer the fat of the slaughtering of thanksgiving on the fire which is upon the altar, and the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them by the loins, and the appendage on the liver you shall remove together with the kidneys. And offer all these for a sweet fragrance before YAHWEH, with its grain-offering and with its drink-offering, for a sweet fragrance, the bread of the offering to YAHWEH.”

Leviticus 3:3-4

“And from the peace offering he shall bring an offering made by fire to YAHWEH, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them by the loins, and the appendage on the liver which he removes with the kidneys. And the sons of Aaron shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt offering, which is on the wood, which is on the fire, as an offering made by fire, a sweet fragrance unto YAHWEH.”

Peace/voluntary offering parallels

Jubilees 21:10

“And eat its meat on that day and on the second day, and do not let the sun on the second day go down on it till it is eaten, and let none be left over for the THIRD DAY; for it is not acceptable and let it no longer be eaten. And all who eat of it shall bring sin upon themselves; for thus I have found it written in the Books of my forefathers, and in the words of Enoch, and in the words of Noah.”

 Leviticus 7:15-18

“As for the flesh of the slaughtering of his peace offering for thanksgiving, it is eaten the same day it is offered, he does not leave any of it until morning. And if the offering he brings is a vow or voluntary offering, it is eaten the same day that he brings his slaughtering, and what is left of it is eaten the next day, but whatever is left of the flesh of the slaughtering on the THIRD DAY is burned with fire. However, if any of the flesh of his peace offering is eaten at all on the third day, it is not accepted. It is not reckoned to him who brings it, it is unclean to him, and the being who eats of it bears his wickedness.”

Salt on offerings

Leviticus 2:13

“And season with SALT every offering of your grain offering, and do not allow THE SALT OF THE COVENANT OF YOUR ELOHIM TO BE LACKING FROM YOUR GRAIN OFFERING. WITH ALL YOUR OFFERINGS YOU BRING SALT.”

Jubilees 21:11

“And you shall put SALT on ALL your offerings, AND DO NOT LET THE SALT OF THE COVENANT BE LACKING IN ALL YOUR OFFERINGS BEFORE YAHWEH.”

Jubilees 6:1-3

So again, we see that Noah and Abraham both did the exact same instructions when it comes to offerings, they offered every clean beast and bird, they seasoned the offerings with salt which are all instructions of the Torah.

Testament of Levi 9:12-14

“And when you finish the slaughtering, present twelve leafy trees, and offer them to YAHWEH, as ABRAHAM also taught ME. And every clean beast and bird offer a slaughtering to YAHWEH. And of all your first-fruits and of wine offer the first, as an offering to YAHWEH ELOHIM; and every slaughtering you will season with SALT.”

Washing of Hands and feet

Jubilees 21:16

“And at all times be clean in your body, and wash yourself with water before you approach to offer on the altar, and WASH YOUR HANDS AND YOUR FEET before you draw near to the altar; and when you are done offering, WASH YOUR HANDS AND FEET again.”

Exodus 30:18-19

“And you shall make a basin of bronze, with its stand also of bronze, for washing. And you shall put it between the Tent of Appointment and the altar, and shall put water in it. And Aaron and his sons shall wash from it their HANDS AND THEIR FEET.”

Covering blood with dust

Jubilees 21:17

“And let no blood appear upon you nor on your clothes; be on your guard, my son, against blood, be on your guard exceedingly; COVER IT WITH DUST.”

Leviticus 17:13

“And any man from the children of Yisra’el, or from the strangers, who sojourn among you, who hunts and catches any beast or bird, which is eaten, shall pour out its blood and COVER IT WITH DUST.”

I point this scripture out to show that Abraham knew what YAHWEH’s expectations were about blood that it is to be covered with dust. These scriptures are just further proof that the Torah is for all and clearly not just for the Jews and that Noah and Abraham were already obeying the Torah from the very beginning. It is not too late to repent and ask for forgiveness and begin to walk in the ancient paths as our ancestors did.

Does the Book of Enoch belong in the Bible?

There have been many debates about the authenticity of the Book of Enoch or Hanok in Hebrew pronounced (Ha-knock) and many scholars and theologians have made it forbidden to read this book. Some say that these books are too Jewish! And my question is how can they be too Jewish when our Savior YESHUA was a Jew (Yehudi) from the Tribe of Judah (Yehuda)? Let us examine the scriptures as always to reveal the truth and also discuss the fallen malachim (angels) discussed in Genesis 6.

Proof there are missing books

Jubilees 4:17

“And he (Enoch) was the first among men that are born on earth who learned writing and knowledge and wisdom and who wrote down the signs of the heavens according to the order of their months in a BOOK, that men might know the seasons of the years according to the order of their separate months."

Jubilees 21:10

“And eat its meat on that day and on the second day, and do not let the sun on the second day go down on it till it is eaten, and let none be left over for the third day; for it is not acceptable and let it no longer be eaten. And all who eat of it shall bring sin upon themselves; for thus I (Abraham) have found it written in the Books of my forefathers, and in the words of ENOCH, and in the words of NOAH.”

Jubilees confirms that Enoch and even Noah wrote a book which is the very book that the world is being told not to read. Enoch helps us to understand the years and months of the solar calendar, and as Jubilees confirms, this is why he wrote it all down a book. Is this part of the reason why it was removed to hide it?

2 Esdras 14:38-48

“And the next day, see, a voice called to me saying, Ezra, open your mouth and drink what I give you to drink. Then I opened up my mouth, and see, he brought me a cup, which was full of water, but the color of it was like fire. And I took it, and drank; and when I had drunk from it, my heart spoke with understanding, and wisdom grew in my breast, for the remembrance in my spirit strengthened; and my mouth was opened, and no longer closed. And the Most High gave understanding to the five men, and they wrote the extraordinary night visions there were related, which they did not know; and they sat forty days, and wrote in the day, and ate their bread at night. As for me, I spoke during the day, and did not keep silent by night. In forty days they wrote TWO HUNDRED and FOUR BOOKS (Some translations say 94). And it came to be, when the forty days were complete, that the Most High spoke, saying, “The first that you have written publish OPENLY, that the worthy and unworthy may read it; but guard the seventy last, that you may deliver them only to those who are wise among the people; for in them is the spring of understanding, the fountain of wisdom, and the river of knowledge.” And I did so.”

Enoch 104:12

“Then, I know another mystery, that BOOKS will be given to the righteous and the wise to become a cause of joy and uprightness and much wisdom. And to them shall the books be given, and they shall believe in them and rejoice over them, and then all the righteous who have learned from them all the paths of uprightness shall be recompensed (compensation or reward given for loss or harm suffered or effort made).”

There are many passages in scripture that allude to there being other books that are in the Bible that are not included in the 66 Book canon. For example:

Joshua 5:13

“So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself upon their enemies. It this not written in THE BOOK OF JASHER?...”

1 Samuel 1:18

“Then David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son, and he ordered “The Bow” to be taught to the children of Judah. See, it is written in the BOOK OF JASHAR…”

It is very important to note that Enoch prophesied about our Messiah and Savior YESHUA the Son of YAHWEH, which is very important because the Pharisees who wrote the Masoretic text 1100 years after the Septuagint deleted passages and tried to hide prophecies about the coming of YESHUA! They do not believe that YESHUA already came as Lamb to take away the sins of the world. They believe when He comes that it will be His first time coming and therefore be deceived. Is this another reason why this book was banned?

 So let us examine some scriptures proving the authenticity of the Book of Enoch and why all believers should be reading it. Jude quoted from the Book of Enoch

Jude 1:14

“And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied of these, saying, “See, YAHWEH comes with myriads (countless) of saints, to execute judgment on all, to punish all who are wicked among them concerning all their wicked works which they have committed in a wicked way, and concerning all the harshness which wicked sinners have spoken against Him.”

Enoch 1:9

“And see! He comes with ten thousands of His saints to execute judgment up all, and to destroy all the wicked, and to convict all flesh of all the works of their wickedness which they have committed wickedly, and of all the harsh matters which wicked sinners have spoken against Him”

Enoch was righteous and was taken from earth without dying!

Mathew 18:16

“At the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.” There is at least four witnesses that testify of Enoch being taken without dying.

Genesis 5:24

“And Enoch walked with ELOHIM. Then he was no more, for ELOHIM TOOK him.”

Hebrews 11:5

“By belief, Enoch was TRANSLATED (to move from one place to another/ from earth to heaven) so as not to see death, “and was not found because ELOHIM had TRANSLATED him.” For before his translation he obtained witness, that he pleased ELOHIM.”

Sirach 44:16 (Included in 1611 KJV)

“Enoch pleased YAHWEH, and was TRANSLATED, being an example of repentance to all generations.”

Sirach 49:14

“But no man on the earth was created like Enoch; for he was TAKEN FROM THE EARTH.”

Jubilees 4:23

“And he (Enoch) was TAKEN FROM AMONG THE CHILDREN OF MEN, and we conducted him into the Garden of Eden in majesty and honor, and see, there he writes down the condemnation and judgment of the world, and all the wickedness’s of the children of men.”

Enoch 60:7-8 (A fragment of the Book of Noah) Noah speaking (My emphasis in parenthesis):

“And on that day were two monsters parted, a female monster named Leviathan, to dwell in the abysses of the ocean over the fountains of the waters. And the male is named Behemoth, who occupied with his breast a waste wilderness named Dawidayin, on the east of the garden where the elect and righteous dwell-WHERE MY GRANDFATHER (ENOCH) WAS TAKEN UP-the SEVENTH FROM ADAM, the first man whom YAHWEH of host created.”

Enoch 70:1-4

“And it came to be after this, that his name (Enoch) during his lifetime was raised above to the Son of Man and to YAHWEH of Hosts from amongst those who dwell on the earth. And he was raised above on the CHARIOTS of the spirit and his name vanished among them. And from that day I was no longer numbered amongst them: and he placed me between the two winds, between the North and the West, where the messenger took the cords to measure for me the place for the elect and righteous. And there I saw the first ancestors and righteous who from the beginning dwell in that place.”

Notice that Enoch was taken by chariots of the spirit? This reminds me of the chariots that took Elijah into the heavens in 2 Kings 2:11

“And it came to be, as they continued on and spoke, that see, a CHARIOT of fire with horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into the heavens.”

Enoch 71:1-2

“And it came to be after this, that my spirit was translated and it ascended into the heavens: and I saw the holy sons of ELOHIM. They were stepping on flames of fire: their garments were white and their faces shone like snow. And I saw two streams of fire, and the light of that fire shone like jacinth, and I fell on my face before YAHWEH of hosts.”

So based off the few passages so far we can see that Enoch was special and that there was no man on earth like him, who pleased YAHWEH and was taken from the earth without dying. So far we have four witnesses (Genesis, Hebrews, Sirach, Jubilees and even his own book) all agree that he was taken after walking with YAHWEH for 300 years! So wouldn’t it make sense that Enoch would have instructions to give to the end time generations after being shown the end from the beginning by the mercy of YAHWEH?

Enoch 1:1-2

“The words of the blessing of Enoch, with which he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and unrighteous are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said, Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by ELOHIM, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens (YESHUA), which the angels showed me. And from them I heard all matters, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a DISTANT (FUTURE) one which is to come.”

My fellow brothers and sisters Enoch saw visions of the Holy One YESHUA in heaven before He came to die for us on earth. Then he goes on to say that he heard all matters that wasn’t for his generation BUT A DISTANT ONE TO COME.” So Enoch had one of the oldest prophecies about end times shown to him in a dream and was shown heaven, the place of torment and so much more. And the Book of Jubilees which is another book that was removed confirms this:

Jubilees 4:16-24

“And in the eleventh Jubilee, Jared took a wife, and her name was “Blessing”, the daughter of Rasuyal, a daughter of his dad’s brother, in the fourth week of this Jubilee. And she bore him a son in the fifth week, in the fourth year of the Jubilee, and he called his name Enoch. And he was the FIRST among men that are born on earth who learned writing and knowledge and wisdom and who WROTE DOWN THE SIGNS OF THE HEAVENS according to the order of their months in a BOOK, that men might know the seasons of the years according to the order of their separate months.”

This is huge because YAHWEH used Enoch to write down important information for the future generations concerning the calendar. YAHWEH commanded us in Leviticus 23 and Deuteronomy 16 to observe His Appointed Times/Holy Days (Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Shavuot (Pentecost), Yom Teruah (Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot), and the 8th Day Closing Assembly. Appointed Times are Appointments on a certain day that YAHWEH wants to meet with His people forever.

And the Book of Enoch along with Jubilees helps us to determine what fixed day the Appointed Times on YAHWEH’s calendar will fall on our Gregorian calendar. We know that Satan confused the set times as laws, so for example the 14th day of the 1st month which is Passover falls on April 6th on the Gregorian calendar; however, in YAHWEH’s eyes it’s the 14th day of the 1st month, it never shifts days using the correct method. Enoch tells you how many days are in a year and also talks about the orbit of the sun and moon and also how the moon falls behind 80 days in 8 years (Enoch 74) which is a warning to those who follow the lunar calendar. But let’s continue on with verse 18-24

“And he was the first to write a witness, and he witnessed to the sons of men among the generations of the earth, and recounted the weeks of the Jubilees, and made known to them the days of the years, and put in order the months and recounted the Sabbaths of the years as we (angels) made known to him. And what was and what shall be he saw in a vision (a vision that declared the end from the beginning) of his sleep, as it shall happen to the children of men throughout their generations until the Day of judgment. He saw and understood all, and WROTE his witness, and placed the witness on earth for ALL THE CHILDREN OF MEN and for their GENERATIONS (Which is the Book of Enoch), and in the twelfth Jubilee, in the seventh week, he took a wife, and her name was Edni, the daughter of Danel, the daughter of his dad’s brother. And in the sixth year in this week she bore him a son and he called his name Methushelah.”

Genesis 5:21-22

“And Enoch lived sixty-five years, and brought forth Methushelah. And after he brought forth Methushelah, Enoch walked with ELOHIM three hundred years, and brought forth sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.”

Jubilees 4:21-24 continued “And he was furthermore with the angels of ELOHIM these six Jubilee of years, and they showed him all which is on the earth and in the heavens-the rule of the sun-and he wrote it all down. And he witnessed to the Watchers, who had SINNED with the daughters of men; for these had begun to UNITE themselves-so as to be defiled-with the DAUGHTERS OF MEN, and Enoch witnessed against them all.

Fallen angels:

This scripture from Jubilees 4:21 is a direct reference to the account of Genesis 6, Jude, and 2 Peter:

Genesis 6:1-4

“And it came to be when men began to increase on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of ELOHIM (Angels/Watchers) saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. And YAHWEH said, “My Spirit shall not strive with mankind forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of ELOHIM came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, the men of name.”

Job 1:6

“And the day came to be that the sons of ELOHIM came to present themselves before YAHWEH, and Satan also came among them.” As we see these same sons of ELOHIM that are mentioned in Genesis 6 were present when Satan appeared before YAHWEH, so this was a spiritual meeting and not a physical one. There is no way that these sons of ELOHIM are the sons of Seth or any human being for that matter.

Enoch 13:8 (The fallen angels asked Enoch to petition for them for their sins)

“And see, a dream came to me, and visions fell down upon me, and I saw visions of rebuke, and a voice came bidding, to tell it to the SONS OF THE HEAVENS, and reprimand them.”

The fallen angels asked Enoch to intercede for them to YAHWEH after they mated with human women and brought forth giants and YAHWEH told them that angels intercede for man and not man for angels. We are about to go over Enoch 6 which directly correlates with Genesis 6.

Enoch 6:1-3

“And it came to be, when the children of men had multiplied, that in those days were born unto them good looking and lovely daughters. And the messengers (angels), the children of the heavens, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: “Come let us choose wives from among the children of men and bring forth children. And Shemyatsa, who was their leader, said to them, “I fear you will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of A GREAT SIN.”

So we see the fallen angels (sons of ELOHIM/Watchers/fallen angels) also called the children of the heavens, left there dwelling in heaven and took wives then mated with human women and defiled themselves. The leader of those fallen angels says plainly that he knew it was a GREAT SIN and Jude and Peter agree with this.  Jude and Peter knew what SIN it was they committed, because there is no mention of the angels sinning in the Bible OUTSIDE of Genesis 6! So Enoch 6 and Genesis 6 agree what that sin was!

Jude 1:6

“And the messengers (angels) who did not keep their own principality (domain), but LEFT THEIR OWN DWELLING (heaven), He has kept in everlasting shackles under the darkness for the judgment of the great day.”

Jude says that the messengers (angels) left their own dwelling/abode/home and are kept in chains in darkness. What did the angels do when they left the heavens? And how did Jude know that what they did was a sin?

Enoch 12:4-5

“Enoch, you scribe of righteousness go, declare, to the watchers (angels) of the heavens, WHO HAVE LEFT THE HIGH HEAVENS, THE ETERNAL PLACE, and have defiled themselves with women, and have done as the children of earth do, and have taken unto themselves wives, ‘You have wrought great destruction on the earth. And you shall have no peace nor forgiveness of sin…”

Notice again that Jude 1:6 says that they are held in chains in darkness until the great Day of Judgement? Where did Jude get this from?

Enoch 10:4-6

“And again YAHWEH said to Repha’el, “BIND Azaz’el HAND AND FOOT, and cast him into the DARKNESS: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Duda’el (Egypt), and cast him in there. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with DARKNESS, and let him abide there forever, and cover his face that he may NOT SEE LIGHT. AND ON THE GREAT DAY OF JUDGMENT he shall be cast into the fire.”

2 Peter 2:4

“For if YAHWEH did not spare the angels who SINNED, but sent them to Gey-Hinnom, and delivered them into CHAINS OF DARKNESS, to be kept for judgment..”

Peter also says that the angels sinned and we see that Genesis 6, Jubilees 4, and Jude agree with Enoch, that they defiled themselves with human women and this ties in to what Jubilees 4:22 that Enoch witnessed to the Watchers, who had SINNED with the daughters of men. We know that the angels are not recorded to having sinned any other time than what Genesis 6 records. But Enoch chapter 6 tells us exactly from the mouth of one of the angels what the sin was.

Enoch 15:1-11

“And He answered and said to me, and I heard His voice, “Fear not, Enoch, you righteous man and scribe of righteousness, approach there and hear My voice. “And go, say to the watchers (sons of ELOHIM, angels) of the heavens who have sent you to intercede for them, ‘You should intercede for men, and not men for you. Why have you left the high, holy, and eternal heavens (Jude 1:6 “Left their own dwelling”), and LAIN WITH WOMEN, and defiled yourselves with the DAUGHTERS OF MEN and taken to yourselves WIVES, and done like the children of earth, and BEGOTTEN GIANTS (Genesis 6:1-4) as sons? And though you were holy, spiritual, living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women, and have brought forth with the blood of flesh, and, as the children of men, have lusted after flesh and blood, as those also do who die and perish. Therefore have I given them wives also that they might impregnate them, and bring forth children by them, that thus none might be lacking to them on the earth. But you were formerly spiritual, living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world. And therefore I have NOT appointed wives for you; for as the spiritual ones of the heavens, in the heavens in THEIR DWELLING (And we already noted Jude says they left their dwelling.). And now, the giants who are produced FROM THE SPIRITS upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling. Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men and from the holy watchers is their beginning and primal origin; they shall be evil spirits on the earth, and evil spirits they shall be called. As for the spirits of the heavens, in the heavens shall be THEIR DWELLING, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling. And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble. They take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them.”

Enoch 19:1

“And Uriel said to me, “Here shall stand the messengers (angels) who have CONNECTED THEMSELVES WITH WOMEN (SEXUALLY)- and their spirits ASSUMING MANY DIFFERENT FORMS  are defiling mankind and shall lead them astray into sacrificing to demons as mighty ones.”

YAHWEH says the giants were produced from the spirits because angels are heavenly immortal bodies, but they went into human women and brought forth giants. All of this is to further prove that authenticity of the Book of Enoch, and we see there are more than three witnesses concerning this.

What are messengers (angels) able to do? Keep in mind the coming alien deception with this following scriptures.

I think most believers lose sight of what Paul said in Ephesians 6:12

“Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the heavens.”

 We are at war with spirits and not humans; therefore, we should look at everything spiritually. Demons for example are evil spirits that need to possess a human being to interact in the physical realm, but what about messengers/angels? They appear to have both a spiritual body and physical body that they can manifest into.

The following scriptures will show how messengers are able to take on material or human form and interact with humans in the physical realm.

Enoch 19:1

“And Uriel said to me, “Here shall stand the messengers (angels) who have connected themselves with women- and their spirits ASSUMING MANY DIFFERENT FORMS  are defiling mankind and shall lead them astray into sacrificing to demons as might ones…”

Enoch 64:1

“And OTHER FORMS I saw hidden in that place. I heard the voice of the messenger saying, “These are the messengers who DESCENDED (From heaven) to the earth, and revealed what was hidden to the children of men and seduced the children of men into committing sin.”

Testament of Rueben 5:5-8

“Therefore my children, flee from whoring, and command your wives and your daughters that they adorn not their heads and faces to deceive the mind of men, because every woman who plots such has been reserved for eternal punishment. For in this way they enticed the Watcher (Messengers) who were before the flood. For as these continually looked upon them, they lusted after them, and they conceived the act in their mind; for THEY CHANGED THEMSELVES INTO THE SHAPE OF MEN, and appeared to them when they were with their husbands. And the women, lusting in their minds after their forms, gave birth to giants, for the Watchers appeared to them as reaching even to the heavens.” Them being able to change forms is consistent with the Book of Enoch which stated and even the Testament of Rueben agrees with every other account I covered that the messengers/angels went into the daughters of men and brought forth giants.

We know that in Genesis 18 that YAHWEH which had to be YESHUA because no one has ever seen the face of the Father at anytime (1 John 4:12) and two men appeared to Abraham, but then later in Genesis 19:1 we discover that the two men were two angels:

Genesis 18:1

“And YAHWEH appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, while he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. So he lifted up his eyes and looked, and saw THREE MEN standing opposite him. And when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground.”

Genesis 18:16-22

“And the MEN rose up from there and looked toward Sedom, and Abraham went with them to send them away. And YAHWEH said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, since Abraham is certainly going to become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I have known him, so that he commands his children and his household after him, to guard the Way of YAHWEH, to do righteousness and Right-Ruling so that YAHWEH brings to Abraham what He has spoken to him.” And YAHWEH said because the outcry against Sedom and Amorah is great, and because their sin is very heavy, I am going down now to see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me, and if not, I know.” So the MEN turned away from there and went toward Sedom, but Abraham still stood before YAHWEH.”

The very next chapter reveals who these TWO MEN are:

Genesis 19:1

“And the TWO MESSENGERS (ANGELS) came to Sedom in the evening, and lot was sitting in the gate of Sedom. And when Lot saw them, he rose up to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground…”

So can angels interact and do physical things that humans can do?

Genesis 18:4-8

“Please let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. And let me bring a piece of bread and refresh your hearts, and then go on, for this is why you have come to your servant.” And they said, “Do as you have said.” So Abraham ran into the tent to Sarah and said, “Hurry, make ready three se’im of fine flour, knead it and make cakes.” And Abraham ran to the herd, took a tender and good calf, gave it to a young man, and he hurried to prepare it. And he took curds and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and put it before them, and he stood by them under the tree as THEY ATE.”

So we see that YESHUA and to two messengers/angels ate food and drank milk, but it doesn’t end there. Lot was confronted by all the men and young men at Sedom telling him to send the messengers out so that they could have sex with them and when Lot refused they rushed towards the door and what did the messengers/angels do?

Genesis 19:10

“But the men (angels) reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door.”

Genesis 19:16

“And while he lingered, the men (angels) took hold of his hand, and his wife’s hand, and the hands of his two daughters, YAHWEH having compassion on him, and they brought him out and put him outside the city.”

2 Maccabees 3:22-36

“Then they called upon YAHWEH the Almighty to guard the matters entrusted safe and secure for those that had committed them. Nevertheless Heliodorus executed that which was decreed (to take the gold and silver out of the Temple of YAHWEH). Now as he was there present with his guard around the treasury, YAHWEH of Spirits and the Prince of all power (YESHUA), caused a great appearance, so that all that came in with him were astonished at the power of ELOHIM and fainted and were greatly frightened. For there APPEARED (meaning they weren’t there at first) to them a horse with a fearsome rider upon it, and adorned with a very attractive covering. And it ran fiercely and smote at Heliodorus with its forelegs and it seemed that he that sat upon the horse had a harness completely of gold. And two other young men APPEARED before him, notable in strength, excellent in beauty and splendid in apparel, who stood by him on either side and FLOGGED him continually and gave him very many stripes. And Heliodorus fell suddenly to the ground and was surrounded with great darkness, but those that were with him picked him up and put him into a palanquin. So he, that recently came with a great procession and with all of his guard into the treasury, they carried out, being unable to help himself with his weapons, and making it clear they acknowledged the power of ELOHIM. For he, by the hand of ELOHIM was thrown down, and lay speechless without any expectancy of life. And they praised YAHWEH who had MIRACULOUSLY honored His own place, for the Temple-which shortly before was full of fear and trouble-when YAHWEH the Almighty appeared, was filled with joy and gladness. Then immediately some friends of Heliodorus who lay ready to breathe his last, pleaded with Onyah that he would call upon the Most High to grant him his life. So the high priest, suspecting lest the king should wrongly think that some treachery had been done to Heliodorus by the Jews, offered an offering for the health of the man. Now as the high priest was making an atonement, the same young men in the garments APPEARED and stood beside Heliodorus saying, “Give Onyah the high priest great thanks, because for his sake YAHWEH has granted you life. And seeing that you have been FLOGGED FROM THE HEAVENS, declare to all men the mighty power of ELOHIM.” And when they had spoken these words, they NO LONGER APPEARED.”

So we see that angels could eat food, close doors, and physically pull Lot into the house and then take Lot, his wife, and his two daughters by the hand and bring them outside of the city! We also see that they were able to physically flog a human for the great sin that he committed and then disappear. So if they can do all of these things, then who is the say they cannot do more?

I think it’s interesting to note that in Tobiyah a book removed from the Bible shows how a messenger (angel) interacted with men and they didn’t know he was a messenger.

Tobiyah 5:3-7

“Then he (Tobiyah) gave him (his son Tobi) the handwriting, and said to him, “Seek a man who would go with you while I still live, and I shall give him wages, and go and receive the silver.” Therefore when he went out to seek a MAN, he found Repha’el who was MESSENGER (ANGEL). But HE DID NOT KNOW; and he said to him, “Would you go with me to Rhages, and do you know those places well? To whom the ANGEL replied, “I shall go with you, and I now the way well, for I have stayed with OUR brother Gaba’el.” Then Tobi said to him, “Wait for me till I tell my dad.”

Tobiyah 12:12-16

“Now therefore, when you and Sarah your daughter-in-law prayed, I brought the remembrance of your prayers before the Holy One. And when you buried the dead, I was with you also. And when you did not delay to rise up and leave your dinner to go and cover the dead, your good deed was not hidden from me, but I was with you. And now ELOHIM has sent me to heal you and Sarah your daughter-in-law. I am Repha’el, one of the SEVEN HOLY MESSENGERS (ANGELS), who present the prayers of the saints, and who go in and out before the esteem of the Holy One. Then they were both troubled, and fell upon their faces; for they were afraid.”

And look what Repha’el was able to do:

Tobiyah 12:1-3

“Then Tobiyah called his son Tobi, and said to him, “My son, see that the man who went with you receives his wages, and you must give him more.” And Tobi said to him. Dad, it is not trouble for me to give him half of that which I have brought, for he has brought me to you again in safety, and healed my wife whole, and brought me the silver, and also healed you.” Tobi made a promise to his dad and law not to leave the wedding feast even though Tobi knew he had to get the silver from the man that his dad Tobiyah sent him to get, so Tobi sent Repha’el the messenger to get the silver for him:

Tobiyah 9:1-6

“Then Tobi called Repha’el, and said to him, “Azaryah (the name Repha’el gave him) my brother, take a servant and two camels with you, and go to Rhages of Madai to Gaba’el and bring me the silver, and bring him to the wedding, for Ragu’el has sworn that I shall not depart. But my dad counts the days, and if I stay long, he shall be very grieved.” So Repha’el departed and stayed with Gaba’el and gave him the handwriting; who brought out bags which were sealed, and gave them to him. And early in the morning they both went out together, and came to the wedding, and blessed his wife.”

Hebrews 13:1

“Let the brotherly love continue. Do not forget to receive strangers, for by so doing some have UNWITTINGLY ENTERTAINED MESSENGERS (ANGELS).

Messenger/angels can take on the form of men and interact in the physical realm as we see from the scriptures of above. So for the nay-sayers who disagree with what happened in Genesis 6 and for those who reject the Book of Enoch can now see evidence contrary to their beliefs.

Enoch prophesied about YESHUA and parallels with 66 Books

Enoch 48:2-3

“And at that hour the Son of Man was Named in the presence of YAHWEH of hosts, and His Name before the Head of Days. Even BEFORE the sun and the signs were created, BEFORE the stars of the heavens were made, His Name was Named before YAHWEH of hosts.”

This further proof that YESHUA existed with His Father YHWH from the very beginning before the earth, sun, and stars were ever created, which makes perfect sense why YESHUA says in

John 17:4-5

“I have esteemed You on the earth, having accomplished the work You have given Me that I should do. And now, esteem Me with Yourself, Father, with esteem which I HAD WITH YOU BEFORE THE WORLD WAS.”

John 1:1-3

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with ELOHIM, and the Word was ELOHIM. He was IN THE BEGINNING WITH ELOHIM. ALL came to be through Him, and without Him not even one came to be that came to be.”

Colossians 1:14-17

“In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, who is the likeness of the invisible ELOHIM, the first-born of all creation. Because in Him were created all that are in the heavens and that are on the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or ruler ships or principalities or authorities-all have been created through Him and for Him. And He is BEFORE ALL, and in Him all hold together.”

Hebrews 1:1-4

“YAHWEH, having of old spoken in many portions and many ways to the ancestors by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by the Son, whom He has appointed heir of all, THROUGH WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE AGES, who being the brightness of the esteem and the exact representation of His substance, and sustaining ALL BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER, having made a cleansing of our sins through Himself, sat down at the right hand of the Greatness on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent Name than them.”

Revelation 3:14

“And to the angel of the assembly in Laodicea write, “The Amen, the Trustworthy and True Witness, THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION OF YAHWEH..”

Enoch 48:5

“All who dwell on earth shall fall down and worship before Him (YESHUA), and will praise and celebrate YHWH of hosts with song. And for this reason He has been chosen and hidden before Him (YAHWEH), before the creation of the world and for eternity.”

Philippians 2:8-10

“And having been found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, death even of a stake. YHWH, therefore, has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of YESHUA every knee should bow, of those in the heavens, and of those on earth, and those under the earth.”

Enoch 1:3-6

“Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them, “The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling, and the eternal ELOHIM will come forth from His dwelling, and the eternal ELOHIM will TREAD UPON THE EARTH, on Mount Sinai, and appear from His camp and appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens. And all shall be smitten with fear and the watchers shall quake, and great fear and TREMBLING SHALL SEIZE THEM UNTO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH. And the high mountains shall be shaken, and the high hills shall be made low, and shall MELT LIKE WAX BEFORE THE FLAME.”

Micah 1:3-4

“For look, YAHWEH is coming out of His place, and He shall come down and SHALL TREAD ON THE HIGH PLACES OF THE EARTH. (Enoch 1:4) And the MOUNTAINS SHALL MELT LIKE WAX under Him, and the valleys be cleft as wax before the fire, as waters poured down a steep place.”

Psalms 97:3-5

“Fire goes before Him, and burns up His adversaries round about. His lightning’s shall light the world, THE EARTH SHALL SEE AND TREMBLE. THE MOUNTAINS SHALL MELT LIKE WAX BEFORE THE FACE OF YAHWEH, BEFORE THE FACE OF THE MASTER OF ALL THE EARTH.”

Enoch 51:1

“And in those days shall the earth also give back that which has been entrusted to it, and the grave also shall give back that which it has received, and Gey-Hinnom shall give back that which it owes. For in those days the Elect One (YESHUA) shall arise..” This passage correlates with Revelation:

Revelation 20:13

“And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and the grave gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.”

Enoch 51:2-5

“And He shall choose the righteous and holy from among them, for the day has drawn near that they should be saved. And the Elect One shall in those days sit on My (YAHWEH) throne, and His mouth shall pour forth all the secrets of wisdom and counsel, for YAHWEH of hosts has given to Him and has esteemed Him. And in those days the mountains shall lead like rams, and the hills also shall skip like lambs satisfied with milk, and the faces of the angels in the heavens shall be lit up with joy. And the earth shall rejoice, and the righteous shall dwell upon it, and the elect shall walk upon it.”

2 Peter 3:13

“But according to His promise we wait for the renewed heaven and a renewed earth in which righteousness dwells.”

I pray that after this study you will see that we absolutely should be reading the book of Enoch and that men are trying to hide the truth. The book of Enoch not only gets us insight or heaven and hell, but also helps us to determine the true solar calendar which we should be using, which also includes the Torah and Jubilees.

You will never question YAHWEH again!

Often times in our lives we pray for something and when you don’t get it within the time period that you think you should, then you start to question if YAHWEH has heard your prayer or you begin to think that you did something wrong. You ask YAHWEH why He is taking so long to move in your life? We have all been there, but the thing is that YAHWEH has declared the end from the beginning and His timing is always perfect. He is working even when you don’t think He is working, you just have to trust Him and wait for His kindness. This purpose of this is to wait for YAHWEH and understand that He is doing things behind the scenes that you cannot do or even fathom, it’s beyond human comprehension.

But first, I would like to go over scriptures that prove that we can never know the mind of YAHWEH nor does He need any counselor.

Which is why YAHWEH says:

Isaiah 55:8

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares YAHWEH. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”

Then YESHUA said:

John 8:23

“And He said to them, “You are from below, I am from above. You are of this world, I am not of this world.”

And other writers agree that we can never fathom His ways:

2 Esdras 5:33-35

“And I said, “Speak on, master.” Then he said to me, “You are greatly troubled in heart for the sake of Yisra’el. Do you love that people more than He who made them? And I said, “No, master, but of very grief I have spoken, for my kidneys pain me every hour, while I labor to understand the Way of the Most High, and seek out part of His Right-Ruling.” And he said to me, “You CANNOT.” And I said, “Why, master?” For what was I born then, or why has my mother’s womb not my grave, that I might not have seen the trouble of Jacob, and the wearisome toil of the race of Yisra’el?

Ecclesiastes 11:5

“As you do not know what is the way of the wind, or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, so you do not know the works of ELOHIM who makes all.”

Isaiah 40:27-28

“Did you not know? Have you not heard? The everlasting ELOHIM, YAHWEH, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His UNDERSTANDING IS UNSEARCHABLE.” Paul agrees with Isaiah that YAHWEH’S understand is unsearchable:

Romans 11:33

“Oh, the depth of riches and wisdom and knowledge of ELOHIM! How UNSEARCHABLE the judgments and UNTRACEABLE HIS WAYS! For who has known the mind of YAHWEH? Or who has become His COUNSELOR?

Enoch 14:22

“The flaming fire was around Him, and a great fire stood before Him, and none around could draw near Him. Then thousand times ten thousand stood before Him, yet He needed NO COUNSELOR.”

Enoch 93:11-12

“For who is there of all the children of men that is able to hear the voice of the Holy One without being troubled? And who can think His thoughts? And who is there that can behold all the works of heaven? And how should there be one who could behold the heaven, and who is there that could understand the things of heaven and see a being or a spirit and could tell thereof, or ascend and see all their ends and think them or do like them?”

2 Esdras 7:19

“And he said to me. “There is no judge above ELOHIM, and none that has understanding above the Most High.”

Sirach 42:17-25

“YAHWEH has not given power to the saints to declare all of His marvelous works, which YAHWEH the Almighty firmly settled, that whatever exists might be established for His esteem. He seeks out the deep, and the heart, and considers their crafty schemes; for YAHWEH knows all that may be known, and He looks upon the signs of the world. He declares the matters that are past, and those to come, and reveals the path of that which is hidden.” Sirach agrees with Isaiah that YAHWEH declares matters that are past, and those to come.

Isaiah 46:9-10

“Remember the former of long ago, for I am EL, and there is no one else-ELOHIM, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from of old that which has not been done, saying, “My counsel stands, and all My delight I do.”

How awesome is YAHWEH? No human can do these things!

So I want to present some scriptures about what YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA are doing behind the scenes that you are unaware of. We cannot even begin to fathom all that He does and after reading this you will never question Him again.

2 Esdras 4:1-11 (Parenthesis is my emphasis)

“And the messenger that was sent to me, whose name was Uri’el, answered me and said, “Your heart has gone too far regarding this world, and do you think to understand the way of the Most High? Then I said, “Yes, my master.” And he answered me, and said, “I have been sent to show you three ways and to put forth three situations before you; of which if you declare to me one, I shall also show you the way that you desire to see, and I shall show you from where the wicked heart comes.” And I said, “Speak on, my master.” Then he said to me, “Go your way, WEIGH THE WEIGHT OF FIRE, OR MEASURE THE BLASTS OF WIND, OR RECALL THE PAST DAY.” Then I answered and said, “What MAN is able to do this, that you should ask such matters of me?” (Ezra couldn’t answer not one of three questions, which is why we should never question YAHWEH.)  And he said to me, “If I should ask you how many dwellings are in the midst of the sea, or how many springs are in the source of the deep, or how many fountains are above the expanse, or which are the exits of She’ol, nor did I ever climb up into the heavens.” Nevertheless I have only asked you of the fire and wind, and of the day through which you have passed, and of that from which you CANNOT be separated, and yet, you give me no answer of them.” He said further to me, “That which is your own, and what you have grown up with, you cannot know. How then should your mind be able to know the way of the Most High, and the world being now outwardly corrupted, to understand the corruption that is clearly in my sight?”

Which is why we are told not to lean not to our own understanding:

Proverbs 3:5

“Trust in YAHWEH with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding…”

Ezra was not able to answer any of these questions because they were beyond human comprehension. No one has ever thought about weighing fire or measuring the blast of the wind because that seems impossible, yet YAHWEH can do it. Even every hair on your head is numbered which is something you cannot do either.

Mathew 10:29-30

“Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground without your Father. And even the hairs of your head are ALL numbered.”

2 Esdras 5:35-49

“And he said to me, “You cannot.” And I said, “Why, master? For what I was born then, or why has my mother’s womb not my grave, that I might not have seen the trouble of Jacob, and the wearisome toil of the race of Yisra’el? And he said to me, “Number for me that which has not yet come (those not even born yet); gather together for me the dross that is scattered abroad (some translations say count up for Me the rain drops), make the flowers that are withered green again, open for Me the places that are closed, and bring forth for Me the winds that in them are shut up, show Me THE IMAGE OF A VOICE; and then I shall declare to you that which you labor to know.” And I said, O YAHWEH who reigns, who may know these, but He whose dwelling is not with men? As for me, I am unwise; how may I then speak of these matters of which You ask me? Then He said to me, “As you are UNABLE to do any of these that I have spoken of, even so you cannot find out My judgment, or the love in the end that I have promised to My people.” And I said, “See, O YAHWEH, You are still near to those who are reserved till the end; but what shall they do who have been before me, or we who are here now, or those who shall come after us? And He said to me “I shall liken My judgment to a circle; as there is no slackness for the last, even so there is no swiftness for the first.” So I answered and said, “Could you not make those who have been made, and are now, and who are to come, at once; that You might show Your judgment sooner? Then He answered me, and said, “The creature cannot hasten more than the Maker; neither could the world hold at once those who shall be created within.” And I said, “As You have said to Your servant, that You, who gives life to all, have given life at once to the creature that You have created, and the creation bore it; even so it might also bear those who are now present at once.” And He said to me, “Ask the womb of a woman, and say to her, if you bring forth children, why not do them all together, but one after another? Ask her therefore to bring forth TEN children at once.” And I said, “She cannot; but must do it over a span of time.” Then He said to me, “Even so have I given the womb of the earth to those who are sown in it in their times. For as a young child cannot bring forth those that belong to the aged, even so have I subjected the world which I created.”

Sirach 1:1-3

“All wisdom comes from YAHWEH, and is with Him forever. Who may number the sand of the sea and the drops of rain, and the days of eternity?”

Counting the number of rain drops is impossible for a man to do, yet Esdras and Sirach making references to YAHWEH counting them and not only the rain but the sand and the days of eternity, This is awesome our ELOHIM is!

Sirach 43:13-33 (parenthesis my emphasis)

“By His command He makes the snow fall in place, and sends the lightning’s of His judgment swiftly. Through this the storehouses are opened; and clouds fly onward as birds. By His great power He makes the clouds pour out, and the hailstones are broken small. At His sight the mountains are shaken, and at His desire the south wind blows. The noise of thunder cause the earth to tremble; so does the northern storm and the whirlwind. As birds flying He scatters the snow, and its falling is as the settling of grasshoppers. The eye marvels at the loveliness of its whiteness, and the heart is astonished at its falling. He also pours the frost as salt upon the earth, and being hardened, it lays on the top as sharp icicles. When the north wind blows, and the water is hardened into ice, it remains upon every collection of water, and clothes the water like a breastplate. It devours the mountains, and burns the wilderness, and consumes the grass like fire. A mist coming speedily stands as a healer of all, a refreshing dew coming after heat. By His counsel He calms the deep, and plants islands within it. Those who sail on the sea tell of its dangers; and when we hear it with our ears, we marvel at it.” For in it are strange and wondrous works, differing kinds of all creatures and whales created. By Him the end of them has a benefit of good, and by His word ALL EXISTS. WE MAY SPEAK MUCH, AND YET COME SHORT (In other words we can’t even begin to fathom His esteem, power, and might not even with many words). Therefore in summary, He is all. How are we able to exalt Him? For He is great above all His works. YAHWEH is awesome and exceedingly great, and His power is marvelous. When you esteem YAHWEH, exalt Him as much as you may; for He shall even yet far exceed. And when you exalt Him, deliver all your strength, and do not be weary; for you shall never declare enough, who has seen Him, that he might tell us? And who could exalt Him as He is? THERE ARE STILL GREATER THAN THESE WHICH ARE HIDDEN, for we have seen but a FEW OF HIS WORKS. For YAHWEH has made all; and to the reverent has He given wisdom.”

Enoch 93:13-14

“And who is there of all men that could know what is the breadth and the length of the earth, and to whom has been shown the measure of all of them? Or is there anyone who could discern the length of the heaven and how great is its height, and upon what it is founded, and how great is the number of the stars, and were all the luminaries rest?”

2 Esdras 6:1-6

“And He said to me, “In the beginning, when the earth was made, before the borders of the world stood, or the winds ever blew; before it thundered and lightning struck, or before the foundations of paradise were laid; before the lovely flowers were seen, or ever the movable powers were established, before the innumerable multitude of messengers were gathered together, or before the heights of the heavens were lifted up, before the measures of the expanse were named, or before the footstool of Zion was established, and before the present years were sought out, and before the deeds of those who now sin were turned, before those who have gathered belief for a treasure were sealed. Then I considered these, and they all were made through Me alone, and through none other; by Me they shall also be ended, and by none other.” And we know the world was created through His Son YESHUA John 1, Hebrews 1, Colossians 1, because they are ONE!

Job 38

“Then YAHWEH answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, “Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Now gird up your loins like a man, and I ask you, and you answer Me. Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding. Who appointed its measurements, if you know? Or who stretched the line upon it? Upon what were its foundations sunk? Or who laid its corner-stone, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of ELOHIM shouted for joy? Or enclosed the sea with doors, when it burst forth and came from the womb, when I made the clouds its garment, and thick darkness its swaddling band; and assigned for it My law, and put bars and doors; and said, “This far you have come, but no farther, and here your proud waves stop? Have you ever commanded the morning, and caused the dawn to know its place, to take hold of the ends of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it? It is changed like clay under a seal, and they stand out like a garment. And their light is withheld from the wicked, and the arm lifted up is broken. Have you come to the sources of the sea? Or have you walked about in the recesses of the deep? Were the gates of death revealed to you? Or have you seen the gates of the shadow of death? Have you understood the breadth of the earth? Declare, if you know it all. Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place, that you should take it to its boundary, and know the paths to its home? Do you know? For you would have been born then, and the number of your days been many! (Eternal and here from the beginning!) Have you entered into the storehouses of snow, or have you seen the storehouse of hail, which I have kept for the time of distress, for the day of fighting and battle? Where is the way that light is divided, or the east wind scattered over the earth? Who has cleft a channel for the overflowing water, or a way for the thunderclaps, to make rain fall on land where no one is, a wilderness in which there is no man; to satisfy the wild and waste places, and to make the seeds of grass to sprout? Does the rain have a father? Or who has brought forth the drops of dew? From whose womb comes the ice? And who gave birth to the frost of the heavens? The waters harden like stone, and the surface of the deep is frozen. Do you bind the bands of Kimah, or loosen the cords of Kesil? Do you bring out the constellations in its season? Or do you lead the bear with its sons? Do you know the laws of the heavens? Or do you apply their rule over the earth? Do you lift up your voice to the clouds, so that floods of water cover you? Do you send out lightning’s, and they go and say to you, ‘HERE WE ARE!?”

This reminds me of Baruk which says:

Baruk 3:32-34

“He who prepared the earth forever has filled it with four-footed beasts; He who sends forth the light, and it goes, calls it again, and it obeys Him with reverence. The stars shone in their watches, and rejoiced; when He calls them, they say, “HERE WE ARE.”

(Job 38 continued) Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who has given understanding to the heart? Who has wisdom to count the clouds, or to tip over the pitches of the heavens, when the dust hardens in clumps, and the clouds cling together? Do you hunt the prey for the lion, or satisfy the appetite of the young lions, when they crouch in dens sit in the cover of their hiding place? Who provides food for the raven, when its young ones cry to EL, wander about without food?”

YAHWEH then continues to question Job about His power and knowledge in Chapter 39 to prove that no one can question Him! We cannot do not one of these things that He does and Job realized it, just as Ezra did. YAHWEH is the perfect immortal One, we are mortal and our comprehension only goes so far and if that wasn’t enough we are told that we haven’t even seen all of His works, but only a few of them.

 None of us can count the hairs on our own head, none of us can count the rain drops, none of us can count the sand on the seashore, none of us can count the clouds, or feed the lions and ravens in the wild when they are hungry, none of us can weigh fire, none of us can show the picture of a voice, none of us were there to lay the foundations of the earth, none of us know the measurements of the earth, none of us know the measurements or the height of the heavens. None of us know the path of the wind or the laws of the heavens. So the next time you get ready to complain or doubt who YAHWEH is remember these scriptures and praise His Holy Name at all times! YAHWEH is worthy of praise and magnificent in all of His ways, we can never question anything that He does because His will is perfect. Most of us have never even contemplated all that He does daily and what He has done, so I pray this is an eye opener for you to know what Mighty ELOHIM we serve!

Important questions about the Sabbath!

Over the years I have been presented with some good questions regarding the Sabbath and I want to always look at scripture as we answer these questions. These are the common questions I have been asked regarding the Sabbath. But, as always I am not the final authority on the topic and just want to help shed some light on some of these questions. Make sure that you take everything to our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA in prayer.

Question: What constitutes as work on the Sabbath?

Genesis 2:2-3

“And on the seventh day ELOHIM completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And ELOHIM blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all His work which ELOHIM in creating had made.

Exodus 20:9-11

“Remember the Sabbath day, to sanctify it. Six days you labor, and shall do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of YAHWEH your ELOHIM. You do not do any work- you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days YAHWEH made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. There YAHWEH blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it.”

Jubilees 50:12

“And every man who does ANY WORK thereon, or goes on a journey, or tills his field (garden work/farm work), whether in his house or any other place, and whoever lights a fire, or rides on any beast (horseback riding), or travels by ship on the sea (cruises), and whoever smites or kills whatever, or slaughters a beast or bird, or whoever catches an animal or bird or a fish (hunting and fishing) or whoever fasts or goes to battle on the Sabbath.”

Lighting a fire in my opinion has a strong connection to the ritual in Judaism when they light the Shabbat candles to bring in the Sabbath; and saying a prayer saying YAHWEH commanded the lighting of the Shabbat candles when He didn’t. It seems to be an intentional lighting of a fire the same way the tradition in Judaism is to not eat lamb on Passover as YAHWEH commanded in Exodus, but they rather replace it with shank bone, which is the exact opposite of what YAHWEH commanded. Also, the man who was stoned for collecting sticks on the Sabbath must have been collecting sticks to build a fire. And building a fire requires work, he had six days to gather all of the sticks and get the fire started before the start of the Sabbath. Again, this is my opinion on the situation.

Jubilees 2:25-26

“He created the heavens and earth and all that He created in six days, and ELOHIM made the seventh day holy for all His works. Therefore He commanded for this reason, that whoever does any work on it shall die, and that he who defiles it shall certainly die. Therefore you shall command the children of Yisra’el to observe this day that they may sanctify it and not do any work on it, and not to defile it, as it is MORE HOLY THAN ALL THE OTHER DAYS.”

As we can see our Father YAHWEH wants us to get away from doing what we normally we do on the other six days. This day is set apart to Him, so no garden work, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, cruises, cooking, cleaning, shopping, paying bills are not permitted on the Sabbath. The goal is to rest as He commanded and get OUT of the world. The Sabbath is more holy than all of the other days; therefore, separating yourself from worldly activity, worldly talk, are ways to honor the Sabbath because it is the holiest day of the week.

We see that in Genesis our Father YAHWEH gave us the example that He expects us to follow and reinforces this by telling us to remember to rest on the Sabbath in the 10 commandments. The weekly 7th Day Sabbath and Yom Kippur all called “Shabbat Shabbaton’s” which means complete stopping and complete ceasing from all activity. Many have asked saying “YESHUA said that it is good to do good on the Sabbath, so isn’t working as a doctor or nurse considered doing good on the Sabbath?” Yes, YESHUA did heal on the Sabbath which is doing good, but He didn’t earn a wage nor did He heal with pharmakia, so if you were to go out and heal someone with natural medicines without receiving a wage for it, then this is a good thing, but we know most people don’t work for free, especially if it is their job. YESHUA’s examples were all about SUSTAINING LIFE and not earning a wage or personal gain. The problem is that the Pharisees were accusing YESHUA of breaking THEIR version of the Sabbath by adding many man-made traditions to it. Examples:

Mathew 12:5

“Or did you not read in the Torah that on the Sabbath the priests in the Sanctuary profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?”

So what is YESHUA saying here? They profaned the Sabbath yet they were innocent? That is because they were making slaughtering offerings for the forgiveness of sins on the Sabbath, which is doing GOOD because they were sustaining life on the Sabbath by making atonement for the people. The Book of Jubilees confirms this:

Jubilees 50:11

“This work alone shall be done on the Sabbath-Days in the Sanctuary of YAHWEH your ELOHIM; that they may atone for Yisra’el with offering continually from day to day for a memorial well-pleasing before YAHWEH, and that He may receive them always from day to day accordingly as you have been commanded.”

YESHUA wasn’t profaning the Sabbath by doing any work, He was merely showing the Pharisees that they were hypocrites that added to the Word of YHWH to make themselves appear more holy, but it was all works of the flesh and not the Spirit.

As YESHUA said in Mathew 23 “they lay heavy burdens upon men, but they themselves do not lift a finger.” However, if the command is from the Torah then you are to do it, just not according to their works. For example if they said to keep The Sabbath holy then you are to do it because it’s in the Torah, but not according to their works means that because of their man-made laws they added to the Torah like (you cannot tie your shoes on the Sabbath, you cannot write on the Sabbath, winnowing which plucking heads of grain that YESHUA’s disciples did in Luke 6)

 They held their added traditions to higher value than the Torah making the commandments of YAHWEH of no-effect. The Pharisees tried to accuse YESHUA of breaking The Sabbath; when in actuality they were measuring YESHUA up to their added prohibits to the Torah and not the actual words of YAHWEH, which is why YESHUA said in Mathew 15:6-10

“So you have nullified the Command of ELOHIM by your tradition. Hypocrites! Isaiah rightly prophesied about you saying, ‘This people draw near to Me with their mouth, and respect Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of men.”

Luke 12:1

“Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees which is hypocrisy.”

An example of their hypocrisy is found in John 7:19-23

“Did not Moses give you the Torah? Yet NOT ONE of you does the Torah! Why do you seek to Kill Me? The crowd answered and said, “You have a demon, who seeks to kill You? YESHUA answered and said to them, I did one work, and you all marvel. Because of this Moses has given you the circumcision though it is not from Moses, but from the fathers and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the Torah of Moses should not be broken, are you wroth with Me because I made a man entirely well on the Sabbath?

See the hypocrisy? The Pharisees accused YESHUA of breaking the Sabbath because He healed a man’s entire body on the Sabbath, yet they would circumcise their son on the 8th day according to the Torah on the Sabbath to keep the commandment, what’s the difference? Their added tradition of what they viewed as work made them hypocrites of what they were doing themselves. They healed a small portion of a child’s body and YESHUA healed the man’s entire body, yet they didn’t view their circumcision as work, but viewed YESHUA’s healing as work. They also would pull a sheep out of a pit to save the animal, and YESHUA said “how much more the life of a man?” (Mathew 12)  YESHUA healed a woman who had been bound by Satan for 18 years.

Luke 13:10-16

“And He was teaching in one of the congregations on the Sabbath, and see, there was a woman having a weakening spirit for eighteen years, and was bent over and was unable to straighten up at all. And YESHUA, seeing her, called her near and said to her, “Woman, you are loosened from your weakness.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was straightened up, and praised ELOHIM. But the ruler of the congregation, responding, much displeased that YESHUA had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men should work, so come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.” Then the Master answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loosen his ox or his donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? “And this one, being a daughter or Abraham, whom Satan has bound, look, for eighteen years, should she not be loosened from this bond on the Sabbath?

Since, when is healing someone a bad thing or considered work? YESHUA was always showing the Pharisees their hypocritical teachings.  Furthermore, we can agree that there are thousands of other doctors or nurses who do not observe the Torah that will gladly work in your place, it’s just time to decide whether you will obey the commands of YAHWEH or not.  Doing good can also be helping the poor, a medical emergency in the family, stopping a dog or child from being hit by a car, saving them from drowning etc. All of these help SUSTAIN LIFE! Nowhere are wages being earned in any of the scriptures, the goal is to rest, to eat, read, pray, worship our Father YAHWEH who has blessed us with all of these things. He is simply saying give Him 24 hours away from the world and draw closer to Him and His ways, because this day is about Him and not ourselves.

We just have to make the decision to be obedient to our Father YAHWEH or not, it’s all a test. Will you pass the test in trust in the provision of YAHWEH or will you trust in yourself to provide while profaning the Sabbath? I personally, had a decision to make when it was “mandatory” to work on the Sabbath or be fired and I choose to stand for the commands of YAHWEH and I said I wasn’t going to work and I was blessed for trusting in Him.

Exodus 16:4

“And YAHWEH said to Moses, “See, I am raining bread from the heavens for you. And the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day. In order TO TRY THEM, whether they walk in My Torah or not.”

The purpose is to turn away from work and our own desires on this day, to rest, praise and worship of Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA on this day.

Question: Who are the male and female servants? Can you children work?

Exodus 20:9-11

“Remember the Sabbath day, to sanctify it. Six days you labor, and shall do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of YAHWEH your ELOHIM. You do not do any work- you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days YAHWEH made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. There YAHWEH blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it.”

We see a part of the instructions that our ELOHIM gives is not only for you not to work, but also your sons and daughters, so if you have children living with you and they are working on the Sabbath it is your duty to make sure they stop because it’s our duty as a parent to raise up children according to YAHWEH’s word:

 Deuteronomy 6:6-9

“And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be in your heart, and you shall impress them upon your children, and shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up, and shall bind them as a sign on our hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.”

What about the male and female servants? To apply this in modern day, if you go to a restaurant or even a drive through window of a fast food place, they have to work in order to prepare your food and ring up your order which means that they have provided a service for you; therefore, they have become your male or female servants for the time period which would violate the Sabbath. Even going to the grocery store and going through a check out or even a self-checkout is still causing someone else to work for you. Someone had to open the store, stock the shelves, ring you up, or even caught on the self-check-out machine. Also, if you own a business and keep the business open and pay employees to work on the Sabbath then this is also violation of the commandment, because they are your male and females servants that you are paying to conduct a service for you and others. Make sure you close down shop on the Sabbath day.

Question: Buying or selling on Sabbath?

This correlates with the question about the modern day servants. But it also includes that we are not supposed to buy or sell on the Sabbath Day. This includes anything for your business, buying something on Amazon, Craigslist, yard sales, flea markets, or paying bills online. We have six days to do all of these things, but the seventh day is holy unto YAHWEH.

Jubilees 50:8

“And the man that does any work on it shall die. Whoever lies with his wife or whoever says he shall do whatever on it- that he shall depart on a journey thereon in regard to ANY BUYING OR SELLING…”

Buying and selling is so serious that we can look to Nehemiah’s example:

Nehemiah 13:15-21

“In those days I saw in Judah those treading wine presses on the Sabbath, and brining in sheaves, and loading donkeys with wine, grapes, and figs, and all kids of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. So I warned on the day they SOLD FOOD. And men of Tsor dwelt there, bringing in fish and all kinds of goods, and sold them on the Sabbath to the children of Judah, and Jerusalem. Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said to them, “What EVIL matter is this that you are doing, PROFANING the Sabbath day? Did not your ancestors do the same so that our ELOHIM brought all this evil on us and on this city? Yet you bring added wrath on Yisra’el by PROFANING the Sabbath.” And it came to be, at the gates of Jerusalem, as it began to be dark before the Sabbath, that I commanded the gates to be shut, and commanded that they should not be opened till after the Sabbath. And I stood some of my servants at the gates, so that no burdens would be brought in on the Sabbath day. And the merchants and sellers of all kinds of wares spend the night outside Jerusalem once or twice, and I warned them, and said to them, “Why do you spend the night around the wall? If you do so again, I lay hands on you!” From that time on they came no more on the Sabbath.”

Nehemiah was literally referring to what YAHWEH spoke in:

Jeremiah 17:21-27

“Thus said YAHWEH, “Guard yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem, not take a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day, nor do any work. And you shall sanctify the Sabbath day, as I commanded your ancestors (10 commandments.) But they did not obey, or incline their ear, and they made their neck stiff not to hear and not to receive instruction. And it shall be, if you diligently obey Me,” declares YAHWEH, “to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, and sanctify the Sabbath day, to do nor work in it, then kings and heads sitting on the throne of David shall enter in through the gates of this city, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their heads-the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And this city shall be inhabited forever. And they shall come from the cities of Judah and from the places around Jerusalem, and form the land of Benjamin and from the low country, from the mountains and form the Negev, bringing burnt offerings and slaughtering’s, grain offerings and incense, brining offerings of praise to the House of YAHWEH. But if you do not obey Me to sanctify the Sabbath day, and not to bear a burden when entering the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I shall kindle a fire in its gates, and it shall consume the palaces of Jerusalem, and not be quenched.”

So as we see that buying or selling on the Sabbath is so serious that Nehemiah not only closed the gates to prevent people from buying or selling, but also place guards to stop them.

Question: Can you cook on Sabbath?

The ultimate goal is to rest as our ELOHIM did on the Sabbath and get everything prepared, chopped and cooked, which is why Friday is called “Preparation Day.”

Luke 23:54-56

“And it was Preparation day, and the Sabbath was approaching. And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and saw the tomb and how His body was laid. And having returned, they prepared spices and perfumed. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the Command.”

Exodus 16:23-29

“And he said to them, “This is what YAHWEH has said, ‘Tomorrow is a REST, a Sabbath holy to YAHWEH. That which you bake, bake; and that which your cook, cook (So no cooking). And lay up for yourselves all that is left over, to keep it until morning. And they laid it up till morning, as Moses commanded. And it did not stink, and no worm was in it. And Moses said, “Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to YAHWEH, today you do not find it in the field. Gather it six days, but on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, there is none.” And it came to be that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none. And YAHWEH said to Moses, “How long shall you refuse to guard My Commands and My Torot? See, because YAHWEH has given you the Sabbath, therefore He is giving you bread for TWO DAYS ON THE SIXTH DAY. Let each one stay in his place, do not let anyone go out of his place on the seventh day.”

Just like we read in Luke 23 about Preparation Day, we see that our Father YAHWEH already instituted back in Exodus 16, by providing twice as much manna on the 6th day so they could rest on the Sabbath, and this pattern was established for 40 years in the wilderness. They did all of their preparation on the 6th day and laid it up until the Sabbath, the same way we should do today.

Jubilees 50:8-9

“And whoever draws water (if you have a well for example) thereon which he had not PREPARED for himself on the SIXTH DAY, and whoever takes up any burden to carry it out of his tent out of his house shall die. You shall DO NO WORK whatever on the Sabbath Day except that you have PREPARED for yourselves on the SIXTH DAY, so as to eat, and drink, and rest, and guard the Sabbath from ALL WORK on that day, to bless YAHWEH your ELOHIM, who has given you a day of Festival, and a holy day, and a day of the holy reign for all Yisra’el is this day among their days forever.”

As we can see Preparation is key and we must get everything done so we can rest. There were times when I would prepare my meals two days in advance for the Sabbath if I thought I would be pushing it before the sunsets, especially in the winter when the sunsets at 4:30 pm. I stated earlier that I do not use an oven, stove, or microwave on the Sabbath, but if I want something hot I’ll put a soup or chili in the crockpot and leave it on before the Sabbath begins. Just some ideas to give you. I personally do warm food as a personal conviction, so I encourage you to take everything to YAHWEH in prayer.

Question: Can you have sex on the Sabbath?

Jubilees 50:8

“And the man that does any work on it shall die. Whoever profanes that day, whoever lies with his wife or whoever says he shall do whatever on it…”

Isaiah 58:13

“If you do turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My holy day, and shall call the Sabbath ‘a delight,’ the sanctified of YAHWEH ‘esteemed,’ and shall esteem it, NOT DOING YOUR OWN WAY, NOR FINDING YOUR OWN PLEASURE (Sex is a pleasurable act), nor speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself in YAHWEH. And I shall cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Jacob your ancestor. For the mouth of YAHWEH has spoken!”

We are to turn away from our pleasures, our desires and even not to speak our own idles words on the Sabbath, so that means refrain from worldly talk of politics or things that don’t esteem our ELOHIM! Plus, you can go a whole 24 hours without having relations with your spouse. Also, we can find more confirmation in Leviticus:

Leviticus 15:18

“And when a woman lies with a man, and there is an emission of semen, they both shall bath in water, and be unclean until evening.”

Therefore, having relations on the Sabbath means that you will be unclean on YAHWEH’s holy day. It would be best to wait until after the Sabbath passes.

Question: Can I fast on the Sabbath?

Jubilees 50:12

“And every man who does ANY WORK thereon, or goes on a journey, or tills his field (garden work), whether in his house or any other place, and whoever lights a fire, or rides on any beast (horseback riding), or travels by ship on the sea (cruises), and whoever smites or kills whatever, or slaughters a beast or bird, or whoever catches an animal or bird or a fish (hunting and fishing) or whoever FASTS or goes to battle on the Sabbath.”

Judith 8:6

“And she fasted all the days of her widowhood, EXCEPT THE SABBATH, and evenings of the Sabbaths, and the new moons, and the evening of the new moons and the Festivals and Appointed Times of the house of Yisra’el.”

A good question does arise when people want to know why YESHUA fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. And my opinion is that YESHUA was taken to the wilderness to be tried by the devil, but nowhere else in scripture is there record of YESHUA making it a habit to fast on the Sabbath, it is even recorded in Luke 6 about how His disciples plucked grain on the Sabbath to eat, and I personally have not seen it mentioned of any of the disciples fasting on the Sabbath. And another good question is what about when Moses fasted for 40 days and 40 nights while receiving the 10 commandments on Mount Sinai? I personal belief is what scripture says in:

Mathew 4:4

“But He answering, said, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but every word that comes from the mouth of YAHWEH.” YESHUA was quoting Deuteronomy 8:3

“And He humbled you, and not let you suffer hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your ancestors know, to make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by all that comes from the mouth of YAHWEH.”

So I believe that Moses was literally sitting in the presence of our ELOHIM and having a feast of the Living Words that were being spoken to him. He didn’t need earthly food, because He was eating the spiritual food of every word that was spoken out of the mouth of YAHWEH!

Question: Can I travel on the Sabbath?

This question isn’t so easily answered and again I am not the authority on it, but I will present four scriptures pertaining to it. So again, please take everything to our Father YAHWEH and His Son YESHUA in prayer and see how the RUACH HA’KODESH The Holy Spirit leads you.

Exodus 16:29

“See, because YAHWEH has given you the Sabbath, therefore He is giving you bread for two days on the sixth day. Let each one stay in his place, do not let anyone go out of his place on the seventh day.” So the people rested on the seventh day.”

Jubilees 50:12

“And every man who does any work thereon, OR GOES ON A JOURNEY…”

So the question then becomes what is constituted as a journey? What is the distance? Because we see this mentioned in the New Testament:

Acts 1:12

“Then they went back to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, which is NEAR JERUSALEM, A SABBATH DAY’S JOURNEY.”

There must be something here because YESHUA said in Mathew 24:20

“But pray that your flight may not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath Day.”

So say its 2,000 feet and others disagree; however, for me I choose to stay in the house and refrain from traveling, but again, this is what I do, and I encourage anyone reading or listening to pray to see what He leads you to do. As always may our Father YAHWEH bless you in YESHUA’s Name!

Forgive or you WILL NOT be forgiven!

Psalms 103:8-17

“YAHWEH is compassionate and showing favor, patient, and great in kindness. He does not always strive, nor maintain it forever. He has not done to us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our wickedness’s, for as the heavens are higher above the earth, so great is His kindness toward those who fear Him; as far as east is from west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a dad has compassion for his children, so YAHWEH has compassion for those who fear Him. For He knows how we are made; He remembers that we are dust. A man’s days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind blows over it, and it is no more, and its place no longer remembers it. But the kindness of YAHWEH is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children.”

2 Peter 3:9

“YAHWEH is not slow in regard to the promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us, not wanting that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

As we see our Father YAHWEH’s mercy endures forever. He is patient, kind, loving, and forgiving. He did not strike us down for or sins knowing that we are worthy of death. Paul said:

 Romans 6:23

 “For the wages of sin is death. But the gift of ELOHIM is eternal life through YESHUA HA’MASHIACH our Master.”

Since we all have sinned before a holy ELOHIM we are worthy of death, but YAHWEH chose not to kill us, but rather forgive us! YAHWEH sent His only begotten Son to become sin for us and FORGIVE US of our sins! To put this into perspective, just think of the worst thing that you have ever done in your life, and if you repent of that sin He will forgive you, and receive you with open arms just like the prodigal son parable that YESHUA told. How many of us could receive someone with open arms after they have done something to us that we deem is unforgivable? Like taking all of your money, not paying you back what they owe, stealing from you, talking about you behind your back, or catching your husband or wife committing adultery? Would you forgive them?

Mathew 18:21-22

“Then Peter came to Him and said, My Master, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? YESHUA said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”

1 John 3:15

“Everyone hating his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has everlasting life staying in him.”

Forgiveness is one of the hardest things for believers to overcome, because it requires humility and love to not hold a grudge against someone. Many people will lose friends and family over this because they have hardened their hearts and do not want to say the words “I forgive you.” The enemy has placed it on the hearts of believers to accept the mentality of pride when they are wronged by saying “You don’t want to see my bad side”, “You don’t want to try to me or get on my bad side”, “I wear my religion on my sleeve.” “If this person does this to me they are going to know about it.” This hardening of the heart has no room for repentance, nor does it allow you to forgive someone. Not forgiving someone and holding a grudge can destroy marriages, friendships, and families.

Testament of Zebulon 8:1-6

“Therefore, my children, you yourselves should have compassion towards every man with kindness, that YAHWEH also may have compassion and kindness upon you. Because in the last days ELOHIM will send His compassion on the earth, and wherever He finds bowels of kindness He dwells in him. For in the degree in which a man has compassion upon his neighbors, in the same degree has YAHWEH also in him. And when we went down to Egypt, Joseph bore no malice against us. To the ones on guard, you also, my children, approve yourselves without malice, and love one another; do not set down in account, each one of you, evil against his brother. For this breaks unity and DIVIDES ALL FAMILIES, and troubles the being, and wears away the face.”

Remember, YESHUA died for us to forgive us of our sins even though He committed no sin and He did not ask questions or hold it over our heads. He simply went to the execution stake and was obedient to the point of death because He loves us. How easy would it have been for YESHUA to say “You know what I remember that time you broke the Sabbath, I remember the time you celebrated pagan holidays, I remember every sin you did, so no I don’t forgive you and never will.” Not only would we be crushed knowing we have no salvation, but He would be completely justified. However He didn’t do this, nor did it ever enter into His mind; therefore, we must walk like YESHUA walked.

1 John 2:6

“The one who says he stays in Him out himself also to walk, even as He (YESHUA) walked.”

Mathew 6:14-15

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Father of the heavens shall also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither shall you Father forgive your trespasses.”

I expect to be forgiven but I don’t have to forgive!

This seems to be the mentality of many who say they know YESHUA! If this is how you are thinking today, please repent and guard yourselves because YESHUA spoke on this very matter:

Mathew 18:23-35

“Because of this the reign of the heavens is like a certain man, a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. And when he had begun to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand Talanton, but he was unable to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made. Then the servant fell down before him, saying, “Master, have patience with me, and I shall pay you all.’ “And the master of that servant was moved with compassion released him, and forgave him the debt. And that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver pieces. And he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe! Then his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I shall pay you all.’ “But he would not, and went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. And when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were deeply grieved, and came and reported to their master all that had taken place. Then his master called him and said to him, ‘Wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt seeing you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, as I also had compassion on you? And his master was wroth, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. So also My Father of the heavens shall do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

As you can see the servant that was forgiven owed way more than the one who owed him. We can liken this to YAHWEH and YESHUA having compassion on us for our many sins, but still forgave us through the blood of His Son. But then we go out to someone who has wronged us and cannot forgive them for the small trespass against us when we are all guilty of greater debt of sins. YAHWEH forgave us therefore we shall certainly forgive others, and as we see this deed will not go unpunished on judgment day.

What commonly takes place is that if a person does something to offend someone else then they feel that the one they wronged is required to forgive them saying “I said I was sorry!”. But the moment that same person gets offended by what someone does to them, then they cannot find it in their heart to forgive them as they forgave you. Is this how a believer should act? Does our Father YAHWEH do this to us? Absolutely not! The first things believers will quickly say when they sin is “YAHWEH will forgive me!” So you automatically expect YAHWEH to forgive you, but that you are not automatically expected to forgive others? That is not how YAHWEH works!

Ephesians 4:31-32

“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and displeasure, and uproar, and slander be put away from you, along with all evil. And be kind towards one another, tenderhearted, FORGIVING one another, as YAHWEH also forgave you in Messiah.”

Sirach 10:6

“Do not bear hatred against your neighbor for every wrong; and do not act as an insulter at all.”

Sirach 28:1-5

“He who is vengeful shall find vengeance from YAHWEH, and He shall surely keep account of his sins. Forgive your neighbor the harm that he has done to you, so your sins shall also be forgiven when you pray. One man bears hatred against another; and should he seek forgiveness from YAHWEH? He shows no kindness to a man, who is like himself; and does he ask forgiveness of his own sins? If he who is but flesh maintains hatred, who shall pray forgiveness for his sins?

Testament of Simeon 4:1-6

“And my dad asked concerning me, because he saw that I was sad. And I said to him, I’ am pained in my liver.’ For I mourned more than they all, because I was guilty of the selling Joseph. And when we went down into Egypt, and he bound me as a spy, I knew that I was suffering justly, and I did not grieve. Now Joseph was a good man, and had the Spirit of ELOHIM within him; being compassionate and pitiful, he bore no malice against me; but loved me even as the rest of his brothers. Beware, therefore, my children, of all jealousy and envy, and walk in singleness of being with good heart, keeping in mind Joseph your dad’s brother, that ELOHIM may give you also favor and esteem, and blessing upon your heads, even as you saw in Joseph’s case. All his days he did not despise us concerning this thing (forgiveness), but loved us as his own being, and esteemed us beyond his own sons, and gave us riches, and cattle and fruits.”

We see that Joseph was hated by his brothers and they sold him into slavery, yet he did not hold it against them. Joseph forgave them and had them to live in the best part of Egypt and provided for them during the famine. How many people would be able to forgive their family for doing this to them? How many can forgive their mom or dad if they abandoned them at a young age? We all need to be like Joseph and forgive and like YESHUA said forgive seventy times seven. And always look to the greatest act of forgiveness and love that we cannot even comprehend, the blood atonement of YESHUA!

So if you are holding a grudge against a friend, neighbor or family member in your heart let today be the day that you tell them “I forgive you.” Because holding on to such weight will not only destroy you physically, but you will have to give an account for this on judgment day, so ask yourself this question is it worth it? The answer is NO!
